We are regulars at Woodys and there is always a friendly service. We love Woodys fish and chips! Woodys of Attleborough is the best!

Sausage wasn’t cooked Chips raw 2 people behind the counter couldn’t have looked more bored/grumpy if they tried

Fabulous chips without any greasiness and a fresh oil taste, the fish is perfectly cooked to order and tastes delicious.

Stayed on industrial estate and needed a hot meal. Quick google and woodys came up. Have to say was pleased with their service and price and I enjoyed the short walk there and back. If I’m in area again I wont hesitate to call in again

food is amazing!!! i always order 2 fish cakes and fries. the fish cakes are so nice and always battered well and very crispy, just how i like my fish cakes. the fries are always perfect, nice crispy and golden brown. i love coming here to get a quick lunch, i’m always happy and want to come here again. food is always perfect, never a let down, been coming here for years!!!

The food is fantastic, their Irish curry sauce is lovely, selection is great and they are wonderful people, we've been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal. Highly recommend!!

Haven't been for 35 years but my dads cousin used to own this shop, we stayed at weekends in the flat above & played as kids in the large garden, which has sadly been sold off & built on 😢 I will visit the village again one day & hope not too much else has changed

First time having woodys last night and wow the best takeaway in Attleborough. All the food was so fresh and the amount we ordered for the price was brilliant. Will definitely be using from now on.

Simply the best fish and chips in Attleborough.

I popped my head around at woodys in need of a slushy and my god it didn’t disappoint. I was advised one colour was the thickest. But I went for the other 2 as well ( still slushyily but a bit watery) and it was amazing! Less than £3 for a large slush and a can of drink! Bargain! Will definitely pop in later for a kebab nice friendly staff!

Honestly easily the best chip shop in Attleborough. Woody's is run by a lovely welcoming couple who couldn't do more for you. Woody's fish & chips is absolutely delicious the batter is light & airy and fish is cooked beautifully and the chips are equally delicious & above all cooked fresh. I also ordered a couple of wraps and like the above cooked & made fresh to order. You aren't made to wait outside, you aren't demanded to wear a mask and you won't be disappointed as I was by Tom's around the corner for doing the prior on another occasion. Woody's will be my "Go to" chip shop from here on out. Update: Still hands down the best chip shop in town.

Always friendly and obliging. Tasty and good portion sizes, often wrapped in tinfoil as well as paper for takeaways.

Woody's chips are amazing we have them every Friday they are golden and crispy as well as soft and squishy if I could I would live off their food. Woody's staff are all smiles well mannered and care for their costumers. They always have my favourite red and blue slushie I cant wait till I next pick up their delicious meals. By ordering over the phone. They are dog friendly but there is not much space inside. Thank you so much. Spike.

Can honestly say, was the best take away burger i have ever eaten! Staying at the hotel over the road, i needed something to eat. Was directed to Woody's. For £5, i had the cheese burger, chips and a can. The portion of chips was huge! I could barely finish them! Only gripe I have, is the close early, and the second night, the closed before I arrived. Ended upat another takeaway, paying nearer £6 for a similar, smaller portioned meal!

The guy in there is a good guy. I've been going in there for years and will always recommend this place. Lovely food at reasonable prices and service with a smile. Thanks.

The chips were hard in the centre and clearly not cooked properly. I bought a pizza a few months earlier that was clearly a cheap prepackaged one from a supermarket that cost £8, was luke warm at best and strongly resembled one of the cheap £1.50 pizzas from the local Sainsburys around the corner in both sight and taste (as I have tried them). I suspect it was one of them. Average service but poor quality food, i would try one of the chicken take away around the corner that appear to be more trustworthy.

2/12/2016 We bought one large Haddock and one regular Plaice. The plaice was fine except too much batter.The Haddock was two small pieces, a brown/grey colour, dry and inedible. It was obviously left over either from last night or at best lunchtime today. Didn't want to risk food poisoning so we gave our dinner to the dog it was that bad. This was our first visit to Woody's and will certainly be our last.
