Played here with our pool team, great pub with pool table, darts board, sports tv's, plus super food for the teams!

Brilliant pub, a good selection of spirits, beers, ciders, etc and generally has a nice atmosphere. There's a pool table and a dart board in the larger back room (which also has a TV showing sports, plus more tables) which are good additions

Popped along to the Kings Arms on a random Thursday afternoon as I had the day off work. The girl behind the bar was very welcoming and polite. There was a very nice atmosphere in the pub. Hands down the best pub in Watton. I will certainly be returning.

Spent really nice evening there with friends, there was also a band playing live music. The staff is polite and friendly, and the prices are good too.

Great pub, in fact probably the best "pub pub" in Whatton. Would definitely go again. Real ale and a great atmosphere.

I went here on a Wednesday morning and I had a latte. Beautiful renovated place, with a lot of history. They got pool table and darts available. It's a place where you can listen music in background and there are music events. The staff was friendly and gave me all the informations that I needed regarding my interests. I'm looking forward on going back soon!

Popular with the locals, busy at lunchtime despite not doing food. Had a very nice well kept pint at a very reasonable price. A clean warm and comfy place to spend an hour or so.

Go there on Monday evenings for a board game club, very friendly staff and good atmosphere. Can't comment on food at all but very clean and quick service. Parking can be a bit tricky but there are some disabled spaces right outside.

Pleasant pub with some well kept ales though generally they were lower gravity and no bitter on offer. On 2nd visit 4 traditional ales and four traditional cyders on sale, excellent.

Traditional style drinking pub that does do some food. Quite big pub with bar area and quieter seating towards rear. Very mixed bag of cliente in there, serves some real ale but unsure how much expertise staff have in looking after it.

Clean tidy and steeped in history a visit to an ancient pub in the heart of the town made a real ale fan relaxed and included. We came a couple of weeks ago as a group of 3 friends! There was a lovely girl who served us, Stacey I believe her name is and she was lovely! Despite running around and being busy doing a million different things she made sure we were okay and checked on us multiple times. There was another male member of staff who was stood around not really giving much care to what was happening around him! We then had a lovely chat we Stacey and she told us she was pregnant! She deserves a medal for running around and more help from her colleague!

We come to watton once a year to visit family we thought we would try this public house as we enter we order a drink from a young lady who was helpful we first notice that a group ov people shouting and swearing we understand it’s a public house we come for a quiet drink the let down was all the fag ends on the floor near the main entrance I thought this public house was for all ages but some customers not thinking ov other people we only spent abbie ur half hours in my option I give it one out ov ten I won’t be revisiting

Visited 3 times since reopening after a major face lift but Not eaten there so this is more a review as a pub. The face lift outside continues with a major refurbishment inside done to a very good standard. The bar staff were welcoming and they have a 3 hour "happy hour" with a pound off Guinness and 50p off beer every day of the week(I think) 3pm to 5pm. So excellent value on those days but no overcharging other times. Only two downsides for me, 1st was parking, nearly non existent outside, or you park down the high street, if you can find a spot or the local car parks but they are free. The 2nd was, perhaps due to "happy hours", on 2 of our three visits it was very noisy anywhere near the bar and you cannot get very far from it unless you are eating. We will go again, those two criticisms did not put me off, just hope to get a parking slot near and a table away from the bar if noisy.

An awesome pub with ghost ship on tap, what more could a girl ask for? Their quiz is ok and their space at the back makes for an excellent function space and prices are very reasonable. Just a shame they dont do food anymore as it only leaves one pub in the town and the monopoly will only increase prices and reduce business in town.

Went yesterday for a drink or two and was made very welcome and decided to go back today big mistake the barmaid had her two children In the pub one was in a pushchair the other running around screaming it's a pub not a nursery won't be going back again however the beer was top quality and dog friendly and clean and was really comfortable just ashame don't expect to go to a pub with the staff children running around and screaming

Great pub recently refurbished, very good music and attentive staff. Will certainly return. Really high point for us was the disabled amenities, best I have seen in a pub.

Recently reopened, this pub has a very friendly atmosphere with first class service and outstanding facilities. The pub (including the toilets) are kept very clean and the staff are efficient and friendly. Live music and quiz nights make this an outstanding place to visit.

Absolutely lovely newly refurbished pub. Great staff, very friendly people. We were too late for food, however people in there were saying it was great, shame we missed it.

It's a nice pub.friendly staff.as well as dog friendly too. This weather though its stifling in the bar no fans.could not wait to drink up and get out.

Went to book this for dinner last Thursday, only to be told that they no longer do food. I cannot understand why this is. It had a major refurbishment a while ago, and the interior was lovely. Went there quite a few times. Now it just seems to be another pub. On the plus side, as I needed to find somewhere for dinner, we went to the Willow house in Watton. The food there was wonderful. Every cloud has a silver lining as they say.

Tried The King's Arm's on recommendation from our daughter, only wish we had visited sooner. Upon entering you can see that the King's Arm's has been tastefully and thoughtfully renovated. The staff are very pleasant and nothing is too much trouble, also has a great range of lagers and beer's. We booked a table and we all agreed that the food is absolutely first class and beautifully presented, not just thrown on the the plate. Like previous reviewers we all agreed that the chicken burgers are 'simply the best' and the steaks taste divine and cooked to perfection, don't forget to try their desert's, they are to die for and home made. This is not a 'pile it high with stodge' eatery that some pubs tend to offer, this is top notch food, presented beautifully in a very clean and pleasant establishment. In closing I would just like to add that this has got to be the best eatery in the Watton area and we've tried a few, believe, me so give The King's Arm's a try, you will NOT be disappointed. 5*****

I was passing through Watton and popped in for a pint and a pit stop. I found this lovely venue. It looked newly refurbished and was very clean. I was able to catch up on some emails and enjoy the atmosphere. I would recommend stopping by if you are around.

Our daughter was at her grandparents for the night and my husband came home from work at a decent time. We decided to go out for our tea. We thought we’d try the Kings Arms and weren’t disappointed the bar staff were welcoming, and polite, made sure we knew that we couldn’t order food until 6pm but when we got our food it was lovely, and really reasonably priced. The place was clean and tidy, and had a good atmosphere too. Will defiantly be back soon.

We've had a really good experience here several times and highly recommend to anyone who likes quality food carefully made in a pleasant setting. There is an excellent specials menu - I had a beautiful squid with chili jam and the kids had the best fish goujons I've ever tasted. Every member of our party was satisfied and the prices are very good. Staff are pleasant and do a good job. We will definitely return.

We went in there for a couple of pints before we had a meal elsewhere. I have to say that the beer was good.It was cold and crisp, well kept. The staff were indifferent. We were the only people in the bar. I’m sure the atmosphere would be better if more were there. Toilets were clean bright. Although being bright is not always a good thing. The lights in the bar were very,very bright,which doesn’t bode well for atmosphere

I have eaten there a couple of months ago the food was ok, but this time has changed my view. My Granddaughter and I had Sausage and Mash what a mistake the sausages were hard the mashed potato was lumpy and tasteless and the gravy was like washing-up water. My Daughter had chicken Katsu with lime rice, the rice with water logged and over powered by Lime although the chicken katsu was nice but not enough to feed even a 5 year old. My wife had chicken breast and chips with peas the chicken breast looked like it was a half a chicken breast but even she was not impressed. We found it to be overpriced and underachieved. We eat out once a week and I eat out every day being a contractor living away, we will not be revisiting. We we will endeavour to go to the Waggon and Horses and the Windmill as they serve great meals and have a fantastic atmosphere with management who care about customer service.

Very selfish with the residents who try to sleep but can hear the so called music as clear as if they were in the pub in their own home over the tv . No consideration at all

£32 for 2 steaks very disappointing. 3months ago chips came separate in a bowl this time thrown on a plate with no onion rings..

Popped in for Sunday lunch, potatoes were hard and definitely didn’t look like roasted. Very pale and unappetising. Turkey was ok although dry round the edges. Veg was good. Service was good, very friendly. Will probably try again just in case it was bad luck.

Having been here for both lunch and dinner now, I can happily say the level of high quality service was the same at both times of the day, and the food is outstanding for the average pub price paid

A nice pub for a quiet drink and food.

Visited with 3 other couples for a reunion celebration meal. Excellent meal, good and friendly service which didn't cost a fortune. This was our 5th visit and each has been very successful.

Had Sunday lunch here today. Very nice friendly welcome . Cleanest and tidiest pub I have been in. Very happy and please we stopped here. Beer very good and the roast was excellent. Cooked very well and very large portion. Would definitely return.

This is now the 3rd visit here, we went last Saturday and took my brother and sister in law. Had the Brie to start and was gorgeous, my husband shared the fish platter with his brother, and they loved it. Had the burger again and was great as usual. My husband and his brother had steak. It takes a lot to impress my brother in law, but he said that the steak was one of the best he had ever had. He also said that we had found an absolute gem of a restaurant.

Visiting friends we decided last minute to pop into this pub. Whilst our friends had not eaten in here they had heard good reports. A Sunday afternoon visit , four of us. The menu was surprisingly extensive for a pub and we all chose different things so we could see a selection of dishes and have a taster of each other's. The food came out on hot dishes and was of excellent standard. We all enjoyed our dishes. Starters , main, and deserts. The prices are not a cheap pub menu, but the food we received was of quality for the price and we had no complaints at all (signature menu ) The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very glad we popped in and would definitely return. The only comment was when paying the bill we could not add to that a tip for the staff. So many places now do that , but luckily we had some cash and was pleased to be able to leave something for their friendly service.

This will be my third review, but my fifth visit, the other two I did not add another review because it was still he same high standard, this time though a staff member who I had been served by went above and beyond (Kurt) I had made a complete mess up with my order, totally my fault, Mandy had taken my order as I had requested. Kurt realised my mess up and stepped in with a solution, which solved the problem and even better meant there was no waste of food or loss of revenue! So not sure why there has been negative remarks about staff and while I was there, both of them were greeting everyone who came in, some obviously returners or regulars, but a few new ones too, all were made welcome in a genuine way, which I have witnessed on other visits by other staff, well done to the management team too, thank you all. We was there for brunch, by the time we left it had become very busy!

Good food wasn't expecting live music

I only moved to Watton last year, and have only recently started to explore the food in the area. we went here a few weeks ago for lunch, we had visitors so decided to try it.

Took my father in law here for his birthday. Good selection of ales, ciders and other drinks. Nice, clean interior after recent refurbishment. Good value meals and decent home cook food.

We were really looking forward to a meal in here, especially when there was a band playing too. We chose the Signature menu as it looked really nice. Unfortunately, the meal did not live up to the description. The skewered lemongrass prawns with dip was very underwhelming. No taste of lemongrass and just an ordinary chilli dip. The Hake Kiev was like a large fish finger, with a tablespoon of potato remoulade which was like a potato salad. Not pleasant. The size of the meals were extremely small for the price. £18.90 for a steak in a pub on a basic table, no linen or properly laid table was far too expensive. The 2 staff that we saw were overworked and I am sure they would not have appreciated us complaining at the time as they looked really pushed. Sorry, we would have loved to have written a more positive review.

Having visited several times since re-opening & have always been impressed with the quality of furnishings and cleanliness of the place. Admittedly I haven't eaten there as I go to a pub to drink and not eat. There is always a guest beer, together with regular beers, Wherry, GK IPA, various lagers as well as a great selection of bottled beers and ciders. Ah yes, forgot to mention, the dog treats go down well with my jack russells. WELL DONE the KING'S
