Spice Boys in Harlow

First time trying this place as I'd heard good things. Chicken naga wasnt on the menu but I rang up and they were more than happy to make one for me, it absolutely slapped! Everything we had was hot and fresh, the shredded tikka wrap was lovely, fully loaded! The masala fries were decent too. First time ordering and definitely not the last! Next time I'm trying the naga wings!

Honestly one of the best curries I have had. Never tasted lamb like it. We ordered a lot because all the pictures looked so good. The loaded fries were something else, just expected a box of plain fries with stuff chucked on top. It was all mixed in. The nann bread never had anything like it it was so fresh and soft unlike a lot that are over cooked. We drove from Harlow to Bishop's Stortford and it was still hot when we got back. Ordered food from ere waited over an hour for food when it came it was cold and missing food tried to phone the restaurant but got no answer won’t be ordering again

Worst Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. The food was over 30 minutes late being delivered and there was no apology. I wrested a chicken korma and a king prawn madras with coconut rice and garlic naan sides. Both mains were sub par. The chicken korma was undercooked had less than 1 chicken breast in it and the sauce was more like a soup. The king prawn madras was so spicy it was more of a vindaloo than a madras and only had 5 prawns (not king prawns). The rice was stale and the only decent dish was the garlic nann. Total rip off. We won’t be ordering again. *Consumers beware*

Got told 1 hour wait waited 1 hour 30 minutes then phoned and was told 5 minutes then waited another 30 minutes so just phoned and told them I don't want my food don't bother wasting your time with this restaurant

We ave been regulars with these guys since they opened. The last 3 times we have ordered, it has come late so we had a break for a few weeks from ordering from spice boys. Tonight we ordered with them at 5.15pm, they open at 5pm. Our order was delivered at 7.30pm. When it came i didnt enjoy it at all, the saag paneer had 4 pieces of paneer in it was really disappointed. Felt it was a waste of money sorry boys but not sure if we will be ordering again.

Fantastic takeaway! Lovely owners, spice and flavours! Exceptional vegan options available. They clearly care about their craft and their customers. They have been working on renovating their space for hopefully a dine-in option soon, but until then the takeaway options are top notch.

The restaurant itself was being remodeled and wasn't ready for dine-in, however, the food is consistently good. Vegan friendly and packed full of flavour.

Such a shame… Food was incredible as always, but 2 hours and 15 minutes for delivery on a Tuesday night (arrived at 9:15pm) with no updates or apologies or any way to get in contact isn’t good enough unfortunately. Congrats on the award boys but don’t overstretch yourselves and take too many orders, or let customers know we could have easily collected instead and saved the delay.

Good and fresh indian takeaway and very nice, customer-focused owner. I ordered butter chicken, it was too sweet for me, so next time I will take something less sweet but more spicy. My boyfriend had Jalfrezi and was too spicy. Overall, the food is ok, but it is not the best indian food we ever had. The portions are avarage size-wise.

Only get up to Harlow for work occasionally, but this first takeaway has definitely justified a 5 star review and my new first port of call when in town.

I decided to treat myself to an Indian takeaway experience from a highly recommended local takeaway, and I must say, it was a great journey. I was surprised by the wide variety of dishes available to all preferences. My chosen meal was Spice Masala with Chicken Biryani. The order process was smooth, the estimated delivery time was accurate and was a great start to my experience. When the meal arrived, the pleasant scent of spices filled the air which made me excited to actually try the food. The Spice Masala was rich with flavours, and tender pieces of chicken was in a flavourful gravy/sauce. The portion size of both Chicken Biryani and Spice Masala was plentiful, ensuring that I had enough to enjoy every single bite of the main dish. Honestly, I devoured every single mouthful and this says alot! I genuinely cannot wait to order again which may happen very soon! I’m very picky when it comes to ordering from a Indian Takeaway, however it’s made me eager to share this divine experience with my friends and family once the restaurant is open to dine-in, which i’m super excited for!! If you're looking for the best Indian feast in the comfort of your home, this place is honestly 100% worth a try! 10/10

Well that is the last time I order from spice boys. just shy of 2 hours for our food to arrive COLD!!! ZERO communication, ZERO empathy. Never again.

The food was delicious , definitely recommended.

First of all I’d like to say the food is great, as always, we tend to stick to the mixed grill which is perfection and the tikka wrap which is delicious and so filling! and to mix it up we always go with the house rice for a cheeky surprise. Tonight after a slight hiccup with the delivery time. A call from the manager direct sorted this out for us, which we appreciate massively as always will be returning for our usual. I’ve moved to Harlow recently and tried out quite a few different places. Spice boys always deliver the top quality food, amazing service and is very well priced. I will continue to order from here time and time again! If you get the chance then please do yourself a favour and grab yourself a take away!

The delivery was quick and everything arrived fresh and hot. We ordered Pani Puri , Samosa Chaat and Lamb Biryani. Everything tasted really good and we loved the flavours. The pani puri was our favourite, the Biryani also was good and extra spicy as we asked for extra chilli. The samosa Chaat was not as great as the rest, we prefer a chunkier samosa in the chaat( punjabi) but overall , glad to have these delicious meals a phone-call away.

Thought I’d try this place after seeing the reviews and I can honestly say they did not disappoint. The food is very tasty and the portion size is just right (no wastage and not left hungry). Spice level is perfect, hot enough to hit the spot and not overpowering that you can’t taste anything else. I’ve tried quite a few other curry houses/Indian takeaways in Harlow and this is by far, the best! Will definitely be visiting this place again soon. The owner (Wam) is also very friendly and attentive. Look forward to trying out other items on the menu. Would highly recommend the Godzilla wrap too

With all the publicity on social media I had to try these guys. And did they live up the hype!! The Tandoori wings were definitely my favourite cooked to perfection and full of flavour *chefs kiss* Food portions are beyond generous and you’re definitely getting value for money!! Can’t wait for the restaurant to open and experience it all again in person!

Really excellent fusion, bursting with flavours and with just the right level of spice. Clearly great care was taken in preparing the dishes. We got about seven different things and they were all top notch.

We are so happy to have found Spice Boys! We are a vegan couple and love that there are delicious vegan options (can be made with tofu or veg) which are clearly labelled, and dishes with ghee can be made with vegetable oil instead. They are really helpful and friendly on the phone and really take care with your order. Have ordered from here twice and will definitely be back for more! Glad we ventured outside of deliveroo! I forgot to take photos because it was impossible to delay eating it!

Ordered a takeaway from Spice Boys and it was excellent. It was cooked exactly on time as per the timer on the app. The app is really easy to use and shows you when the meal is cooking and when it’s ready. The tikka masala is the best I’ve ever tasted! I loved the panipuri too. The portions are huge and it lasted me three meals! Will definitely go back. Thank you.

Was excited to try their menu and ordered for collection through the SPICE BOYS app. As I was already in town I arrived shortly after placing my order, where I was immediately welcomed and reasurred that they were putting my order together. As I was curious about their assortment of sauces, the chef offered to put free samples in to try. I know one of the co-owners from my time working at Enterprise, who held customer service in the highest regard and I can see SPICE BOYS representing the same idiology. After getting home and finishing my meal, I was completley satified and can confidently say I will be ordering from them again. Thanks again SPICE BOYS, great food and great service!

I’ve ordered twice from here already and both times have been absolutely amazing! The naga wings are to die for, the tandoori chicken is unreal, the madras is the best I’ve had in a long time! We ordered from the Spice boys while on a weekend break just outside Harlow. The guy who served us was super helpful and totally charming. The food was truly some of the best Indian takeaway I've had. Wonderful mix of spices piping hot and so reasonably priced. Wishing them all the best in this obviously new venture. Walked past this evening & it was finally open for takeout. I tried a Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi with pilau. Really friendly guys & the dish was top notch & big portions. You can tell when a chef takes pride in his cooking when there are cardamon pods in the rice. Price was reasonable as well & can’t wait for the sit down area to open. Definitely will try again.
