Food was so bad very watery felt sick after will not order again

Ordered chicken dish. Chicken was stale - chewy and very dry. When complained met with a very obnoxious girl. I have been a long standing customer for years but will not be using them again. When I order a meal I expect it to be edible which this was not

The serving are absolutely terrible, absolutely joke will never go there again, when asked why it was so small they said they counted the items there self,even though I sent a picture to them-

Waited 2.5 hours for delivery when we were told would be between 45mins to 1 hour. Called after 1.5hours and they said food was on its way and would be 10 mins. Another half hour passed still waiting. Called again and they said the driver had just left. Waited another 20mins and still no food. 2 and a half hours later food finally turns up only to be half poured into the bag… half of the food inedible due to spilling in the bag. Called to ask for a partial refund and they said they will pick up the full order in order to get any kind of refund. Terrible service, shocked by how unprofessional the people answering the phones there. Really disappointed. Won’t be ordering from there again.

The food was lovely and reasonable too. We all enjoyed it very much. We will order again from you. Thank you once again. 👍

1st time online order and delivery

This is my top rated indian takeaway, which I've used for years. Although most people use fast food apps to order, I order from their own website or go there and order and wait. The food is superb and the portion sizes are more than fair. I love the value of the 3 and 4 course banquet meals, but my favourite dishes there are the chicken tikka nan roll, sag aloo, sag paneer, and chicken dhansak.

Best curry I've had for a long time.freindly staff.meal was nice and hot as temperature wise.meal had flavour fire or chillies.cant beat it.would recommended to enjoy a nice meal

I placed an order tonight online after placing the order, it told me it would be with me 5.40 my order didn't arrive till 6.10 very poor service.

Had a takeaway from Dial Indian tonight and it was absolutely delicious, every dish we ordered was really good, also it turned up nice and hot, it wasn’t oily at all and it didn’t take to long to be delivered, good work guys, I will definitely be ordering from you again soon

We have been ordering from Dial and Indian for the last five years. The food has always been absolutely wonderful. Never had any problems might be a few delays apart from that we are very happy and we will still continue using its using their service.

Service was friendly and helpful. Food was hot and tasty. Bombay aloo was possibly the best I’ve tasted. Great value for money.

Tried Dial Indian for the first time this evening. We ordered the chicken passander and special biryani. Both were fantastic. Very fast and friendly delivery👌

Terrible right the way through from the minute I wrongfully selected them via Justeat. To think I had a bad service before and i was talked into giving them another try as it was 4 years later. Food took 1.5 hours to come, we was told up to an hour. It took 3 phone calls to them for the restaurant to make a call to his driver and take us seriously. No apology or care when it came. I’d describe the food as offensive. Stale popadoms! Ive only ever had stale poddadoms the 2nd day they must be old or sitting around. You cant order a single chutney sauce they charge you a pot per poppadom i had to pay £5 .40 on 3 bloody poppadoms because you have to order equal amounts, but the kids love them. Not the stale ones. The lamb bhuna was the worst. I counted 6 small pieces no bigger than a 20p each. Horrible sauce, fit for a dog perhaps. Seriously, the food and service so was bad i was compelled to come here and write this review its deserved. Avoid at all costs. Not even a free full meal worth £50 from them would convince me to remove this advert, people need to know. Hang your heads in shame, Dial an Indian.

Bad tasteless food, they throw in random spices that do not mix with the dish. Also i asked for rice and prawns they just have me plain tasteless rice.

The food always comes hot, the classic chicken curry is the best around. the egg rice and naan excellent.

Rude man answers phone, also i found grey hair on my curry. Wanted to complain, he hang up.

Ordered a king prawn curry,4 prawns looking like a 3 yr old had peeled them. The rest was a weak washy flavourless pot of sauce. Pilau rice was white,plain and bland.worst “ curry”/ takeaway I’ve ever had anywhere.a shame because I used to eat from dial often and they “were” ok. Never again,go somewhere else.

You will not get a jelly belly with this place although small it's great food.

hair in naan bread, forgot some of my food. when I ernt in to ask if I can have a fresh naan bread , they accused me of putting the hair in the bread myself. the chef became aggressive and threw my car keys at me.

Absolutely lovely tasty grub and always toasty hot on arrival. Minus one star as delivery can be a bit long if they are busy.

Food was 29mins late,when phoned to find out where food was man on end of phone was abrupt and rude. When we finally sat dow n to eat the food was absolutely tasteless. Would not recommend and definitely would not go back

Unfortunately I can not rate this takeaway lower than 1 star. The guy who answered the phone is obviously a very brave boy over the phone and is extremely rude to PAYING customers. Waited for 2 hours for a awful Indian takeaway, would rather eat rat droppings! Shocking establishment surprised they’re still in business!

Worst Indian I’ve had in my life, ordered at 7.35pm & it came at 10.30pm 😡 I already payed online & they wouldn’t even give any refund. Threw most of food in the bin. Lesson learned, never ordering from there again.

Food was good and reasonable price, sadly the delivery was appalling. Took 2 hours and 10 mins to arrive and only after I had rung 3 times chasing. Won't be using again for that reason.

Absolutely disgusting food quality. Received my chicken korma and the chicken was pink and smelled very badly. Upon seeing this I called up the restaurant and explained the situation and they informed me that the reason was because they pre-cook the chicken hours prior and left it on a hot plate. Utterly repulsed by the taste and smell that I immediately poured the food back into their containers and the delivery driver came to collect the food. Do not trust this place unless you want food poisoning!!

I ordered a delivery this evening. The food arrived exactly on time. It was piping hot and really tasty. The delivery driver was nice too I will definitely order again.

Just tried to order with dial Indian. Was told we couldn't pay by card so ordered elsewhere. You just missed out on £28.95

The management do not cook the food on a as ordered basis, so you might end up waiting 3 hours for food ! I used to be a very regular customer of this establishment, however after the last debacle neither i or any member of my family will order from there again, Avoid, there are other Indian takeaways in Harlow.

Great food and good value takeaway. The service is a little slow and they can get the orders wrong sometimes and omit small items but we use them regularly. The shoddy service is compensated by the flavoursome food with the mix of well cooked meats and vegetables in tasty sauces. Their pricing is very competitive and they deserve a 5 star review but... As mentioned earlier, Their service is a little haphazard. They usually say it will take 40 minutes to deliver but on busy days... Add another half hour. Again, this is compensated by the quality and value of the food. So in summary, I would recommend this, even though I may be shooting myself in the foot as the delivery time will be even longer!!!

Came here to try as just recently moved into the stow area. Thought we would give this one a go, absolutely spot on! Portion size, price, and quality is very good! We will be back for another take away soon!

On time, clean friendly staff, curries not greasy, tasty and good value for money considering we are traveling through and ordered on the hoofquite late. The Chilli Chicken Masala was great so too was the Chicken Jalfrezi with Mushroom Rice😊

Lovely food shame about the food poisoning the next day for me and my partner. Both confirmed by doctors as food poisoning. I rang the place to see what they said they blamed it on me asking for raw onion in my wrap I'm sorry but I'm a chef by trade and unless cross contamination took place raw onion does not cause food poisoning

This was the worst order I have ever had. Nearly 2 hours late, and they forgot one on the items. When I phone to complain the person on the phone had to check everything, even if she could give me a refund for the missed item. I asked to speak to the manager and I got told he was busy cooking and refused to speak to me. I asked for some compensation for the delay and missed item and I got told that they would not give me anything. The food was terrible too, very watery, and the cheese naan didn't even have any cheese! I would not go here again ever, even if it was free.

First of all would like to say the guy who served us was really nice and polite. All good until we got meal home. Absolutely tasteless , dried up burnt bhajis, Rika masala yuk bright orange, potato dishes dried old potato no spices fresh herbs , rice tasted of vanilla,bread all doughy. The whole thing went in the bin. Now I work in a restaurant in London and I know how to cook. These guys need a lesson in adding flavour fresh herbs and spices. Will never go there again. Which is a shame as it's reasonably priced. But what's the point if it all went in the bin. Sorry dial Indian.

Dial Indian delivers to your door a good value and quality Indian meal. Well prepared, arrives good and hot. Just allow plenty of time for this service as its a busy little place and rightly so.
