We popped in for food after a trip to the cinema next door. Lovely warm greeting, great advice and opportunity to taste the sauces before making a decision. We had halloumi wrap, pork wrap & chicken wrap. All totally delicious. We will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you 😊

Myself and my wife went here as we were looking for a quick bite somewhere. We found this place and fancied a Chicken gyros. It was so tasty and delicious. The chicken was warm and fresh, chips were good and there was plenty of filling. Owner also gave us some meat to snack on while we waited. Would definitely go again!

Was really looking forward to our Greek food however I was shocked when our takeaway arrived and the chicken and pork kebabs were raw inside after ringing them to tell them nothing was offered ie refund or even replacement food I was incredibly disappointed in the level of customer service after being thanked for letting them know

A tasty Greek take-away “feast” at reasonable prices with friendly and efficient service. Enjoyed the yummy cheese balls starter, and the fresh Greek salad with its slab of feta cheese to break up and add oneself, although due to the generous size of our shish kebab main portions we had to keep it over for the next day. Two small disappointments - despite the menu description and photos of skewers, our shish kebabs were more “sausage” in style, and both the sauces to us tasted rather bland and “manufactured.” Also, hopefully this small food business will be able to follow the example of others by moving into compostable containers soon. We look forward to trying more of this menu of traditional Greek food.

Maybe I'm just spoiled having had wonderful Chinese food/takeaways in London, Surrey and Bristol and Glasgow. But I've yet to find a Chinese in Somerset or Dorset, where I now live, that excites my taste buds. Mandarin House was ok. but just ok. Bit bland and very average on the whole. I've had 3 takeaways now and they've all underwhelmed me. Just bland to be honest, but I guess for Somerset and Dorset they're probably above average. To be honest, next time I want a Chinese, I'm just going to go to Waitrose or Sainsbury's. Better and cheaper. W Had the leftovers on the following night. I added fresh ginger and spring onions to my House Special. Much better. And added chilli flakes and salt to the Kung Po Chicken. Better. When a dish says Ginger and spring onion i expect to have those flavours in my mouth. I only had one mouthful where i got a bit of ginger. As for spring onion..... pretty non existent. Just I shame I had to go to Waitrose to spice it up.

I had the steak and Ale pie. Pie was good, but the green beans were under cooked and the mash was nearly cold. I did notice quite a few people left a good portion of their meal, not a good sign. Service was good but there was no salt on any of the tables, I had to ask a member of staff to get some (they seem to only have one salt pot for the whole venue!) Staff seem friendly. Dogs permitted.

15 Church StFab little Chinese takeaway in Lyme. The food was lovely. I think the litmus test for any Chinese is their chicken balls - they were juicy and tender. Good job 👍 we will order again

5 Pummery SquareHad a night out with my brother who moved to the area and we happened across the Poet. It has the feel of a real local with live sport, a very decent menu, and really helpful staff. Easygoing and relaxed atmosphere with a "there are no strangers, only friends you haven't met yet" vibe to it. I'm looking forward to my next visit (to the pub, not my brother).
