The food here is ok (not top drawer but ok) and reasonably priced. I have been getting takeaways on and off since 1985. The service can be shambolic at times as in you ask for a takeaway for a specific time only to arrive and find you have to wait 20 minutes. They didn't used to offer a delivery service but do now BUT the service is ten times more shambolic than if you collect. Apparently the driver decides where he/she is going and takes no account of delivery times requested so you can't rely on your food arriving at the time you want it. On one occasion my order arrived 45 minutes late and last night I was messaged just half an hour before my delivery was due (while I was busy with other things so didn't see it until 15 minutes later) to say that my delivery would be at least an hour late. I don't know what anyone else would have done but I cancelled my order. I was told the owners don't speak English so I couldn't even make a complaint. I may or may not use this place again, assuming I haven't already been blacklisted!

Take-away only so atmosphere irrelevant. Food delicious and came so quickly I'd barely had time to sit down.

Sorry but this was the worst takeaway I have ever had. Shame as it used to be good. Arrived cold. All that was supposed to be crispy was too soggy to eat.

Can't get an order correct for love nor money, girl on the till is rude and ignorant. Food is all over salty and tasteless. AVOID

A very loose interpretation of "take-away" if one has to wait in the shop for 40 minutes to get their order! Just a suggestion to the place if you know certain days are always busy, get more people in the kitchen or warn your customers. Sorry you are never seeing me again!

Top notch Chinese takeaway. I had the satay sauce mixed vegetables, which had mushrooms, onions, baby corn, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, and pepper. The satay sauce was delicious. My partner had the chilli mixed vegetables, which he said was delicious.

Concerned about some of the reviews, but the service F2F was friendly, helpful and efficient. The order was perfect, no mistakes, and plentiful. The food was fresh, not at all greasy, vegetables tasted fresh and meat was tender and well cooked. Special fried rice was full of meat, generous and tasty. Singapore noodles also excellent. Price is very good for a tourist area. It is not restaurant quality, but it is a perfectly good take away.

Used to be great. The food is good. The customer service is sadly lacking. I rang and complained my food was over an hour late. I heard the girl slagging me off for complaining: she didn't put me on hold, she just put the phone down. Never again.

Fast delivery, hot food & tasted great!

When I complained about ' king prawn in Peking sauce', I was made to feel like it was my fault for ordering. No acceptance that mandarin may of made a mistake. This particular was EXTREMLY SWEET, to the extent of being in edible. Other chow mein was o.k

Waited 2 hours for food only live 10 mins away, should of been honest that they have not got enough drivers, and also never get the prawn crackers even though they were ordered. Will never use again. RUBBISH

Just a great Chinese take away, always too much food

Whats happened to this Chinese take away. The food has gone down hill. The quality isn't great, everything is over seasoned so it's either too salty or too spicy. And the egg fried rice I had was very bland and tasted like it had no egg in it at all. I dont know whether they have new staff but the food was not great. Fast service as usual but still doesn't accept card so had to walk down in to the town to get cash. Please get a card machine. You can set it up for minimum orders to use card. Set it to £15 and you'll be fine.

Food is good but again order incomplete. Delivered without prawn crackers this time, despite ordering them. Told it wasn't on the order but I clearly asked for them. Call and get told they can bring them out by which time its too late. Other option is get them free next time. That won't work as i wont use them again.

Quite honestly the worst Crispy Duck I have ever eaten, (well calling it Crispy- more like Soggy Duck) normally would fight for the last of the duck, but the rest of this duck went in the bin. Eaten from here a few times it’s never been good but was kind of ok. I asked for half a duck not leftovers from previous days? Spring Rolls were shop bought items. Won’t be back.

Great Chinese. Never had any issues and have used them for years. Cash only though which is a pain if you aren't aware as the nearest cashpoint is quite far away.

Best Chinese in Dorset I have struggled to find a nice takeaway for a while others have been awful but this little takeaway serves the best crispy beef I’ve ever had. All the food is fresh and not swimming in grease. We had satay chicken skewers, sweet and sour chicken balls, crispy king prawn noodles, special fried rice and prawn crackers, all delicious and huge so we over ordered. Will now be my regular. Highly recommended

Best Chinese in Sherborne. The staff are always nice and they don't mind removing ingredients from your order.

I ordered early as I was told the day before it was busy. I was told it would be up to 2 hours witch was fine After waiting 2 and a half hours I phoned to find out what was going on and was told they hadn't even started to cook my order and it would be another hour wait After complaining I was told I could have the meal for 50% of the price but never to order from them again and made to feel like it was my fault somehow.

Amazing shredded crispy beef I was disappointed with one minor thing , I wanted sweet sour chicken balls but I got Hong Kong style instead it was good but not what I ordered so 4 out of 5 could have been a 4.5 for sure overall bang on point I will go there again 👍

My first choice for Chinese in the Sherborne / Yeovil area. Wide selection of dishes. Flexible over the set meals. Always freshly prepared.

On leaving order was read back to us which was correct. Got home (25min drive) to open up completely different order, to make it worse it was fish which my husband is allergic to. Not impressed won’t be going back.

Pretty shocking ordering experience. No website, no online menus, don't accept contactless payments, no way to pay by debit card. Who on earth is cash only in this day and age? Guy on the phone is quite abrupt when taking orders and not very helpful. Food was OK but they need to bring themselves into the 21st century as their ordering and payment processes are dire.

Asked for no sauce on couple of items and this was not done spent over £50 with them and they still did not get order right it's a 20 mile round trip for me so was not a case of taking it back to say I'm angry is an understatement

Extortionate prices,Stale week old prawn crackers,food full of grease,no meat just fat and the even messed up the order and was full of excuses!!first and last time I order from there!!

Food was tasty, certainly had plenty of it as portion sizes are big. Found it to be quite expensive though.
