I'm bringing it back tonight because I'm the other side of town she said what do you want me to do then I said the decency tomorrow give me a free meal she said yes if you bring it all back it's all alright and plates customer services Rude as I work in the industry myself, Food

Our new local (just moved to area) Chinese and after a few visits we really cant complain and will definitely be returning. So much better than our last local Chinese takeaway.

Food is really tasty, absolutely fantastic! But the portions are miniscule, basically child's portions. Not value for money! Come on guys sort it out!

Love the noodles here and the egg fried rice! When i used to eat meat, i also loved the sweet and sour chicken balls as they were not greasy. Always really happy to buy dinner from here.

A very wet NYE and our meal was delivered well within the eta, hot and cooked well, the poor delivery lady was soaked , really appreciative of all your hard work throughout the year

Very, very disappointing. Ordered takeaway. Food tepid to cold when we got home..12mins drive. Food substandard and one ordered dish, which I paid for was not supplied. Onions raw and the few vegetables we had were not cooked properly

This was the worst Chinese Take away I have ever had. Sadly all was tasteless and undercooked, prawns were questionable and threw the whole meal away… the Chow Mein was salty and disgusting. Phoned up to complain and got laughed at over the phone and then hung up! I’d Take your money elsewhere if I was you!!! I will not be returning!

Just moved into the area tried Imperial Dragon. Not impressed Small portions for the price and not that tasty pretty bland! Will be trying some others in the town. Won't be back I'm afraid

Just delivered.... Chicken balls overcooked half way to burnt same as mini pancake rolls.... Disappointing 😕 didn't eat half.... Waste of money for what should have been a treat 🙄

Sadly the quality of the cooking has dropped in the last 2 or 3 weeks. Pork balls were like rocks on the outside and raw batter on the inside.

Best Chinese food I've had for a long time. Definitely recommend the chicken and cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce. Made quickly and freshly you can see them prepare your food as it's an open plan kitchen.

The chow mein is always amazing ( I only ever order chow mein so can't say much about anything else) always served hot as expected.

When you can't be arsed with cooking at home, it's a local and convenient Chinese takeaway. Easy to find and orders are pretty darn quick. Have a pint in the pub next door while waiting for your order or stand and watch the chaos as the chef's work their magic i the kitchen!!!!

Really disappointed with our takeaway this evening. We have had takeaways from here for years. The portion sizes were tiny. Everything was super greasy and lacked flavour. We won’t be eating from here again you don’t even get prawn crackers anymore.

Not open again……no notification on website to say it’s closed. Wished they would as it would save us a journey. It never used to be hit and miss as to wether they’re open or not. Shame as food really good but went somewhere else.

Portions sizes are tiny, paid £6.60 for salt and pepper chicken for a half size portion, chop suey was bland, chicken balls were tiny about the size of a chicken nugget. Paid £35 for a meal for 2 and wouldn't even throw in any complimentary prawn crackers.. I would give it a miss not value for money and bland food.

Food was ok, fast service, but small portions for massive prices, 23.50 and I ate it all in one meal, usually ill get 2 meals for about 19 quid. Tiny portion size. Wouldn't go again.

Food is tasty. Most dishes are a decent size. Reasonable value Delivery is usually within thirty minutes and usually hot. 🍌🙂

Food was prepared quick although quality was sub par and portions were small. Prices are actually around 10% higher than those listed on the website which was an unpleasant surprise.

Smaller container used for main dishes than my usual takeaway. Resulted in not having enough food for everyone. Food was good though but too little for the cost.

Super tasty, quick service and good value for money

Ordered vegetarian meals but the broccoli and garlic came with pork, bit of a shame. So I can't recommend this to vegetarians, the tofu was somewhat overcooked but the food was quite tasty and the portion sizes were fine.

Disgusting meal £68 The duck was so dry , everything that I ordered was so nasty .never been served with such dreadful food We thought we were getting a nice meal , not so it was all put in the bin,even the prawn crackers were all mushed. Best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Duck Cantonese style and special chow mein have never been topped, anywhere else I’ve eaten in the country. Amazing stuff.

This is the worst Chinese takeaway that I had. The pork and beef meat in the dishes that we ordered were not tender. I can't believe that they served stale/old rice (boiled and egg fried). The rice grains were already hard and not soft which were too painful to eat/chew.

I am in the area on vaccination and I thought I'd treat the family to a Chinese, after spending done time Googling where was best I wound up ordering 4 dishes, chicken fried rice, king prawn chow mien, crispy chilli shreaded beef and chicken satay skewers Now this cost me 23 pound which seems a little expensive, but as long as the rod tastes nice that would of been okay After collecting and getting the food home I placed the 4 dishes out and my initial reaction was that the portion sizes were tiny. Again if the food would have tasted amazing I would of let it go. Unfortunately the order was prepared wrong, the chow mien had my noodles in it and also there there was no prawns just chicken. I promptly rang the takeaway and drove back to have my order corrected. I got home the 2nd time to eat our food and I have to say the crispy chilli beef was soggy, the chow mien was tasteless and the prawns were mushy, the satay chicken skewers was covered in a spicy sauce and tasted nothing like satay. The rice could of been misinterpreted as Uncle bens packet rice Definitely the worst Chinese I have ever eaten. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Always use this takeaway as one of the best around. Food is always excellent except today the food got ruined as a cold can of drink was put in the same bag as the food. The bag had water all in the bottom and bags of food was wet. The can of drink was warm and food was not hot as usual. Maybe put drink separately from food in future. Would still highly recommend.

The favours and taste of the Imperial Dragon Chinese is delicious would recommend them. Well organised from taking the order over the phone, cooking and prompt delivery. This is takeaway only collect or delivered.

Had takeaway v poor , up vomiting won't be getting one from here again . They had been ok in the past never again !!

Nice food although slightly too salty. Unfortunately the portions are too small for the price. All regular sized meals are now served in what used to be the smaller portion size container. There has been no price change to reflect this. Also, there were no complementary prawn crackers even thought the meal was over £20. They are a cheap addition but make a difference.

Always my Chinese of choice and the staff are lovely can’t recommend enough best in town as far as I’m concerned.

This is, in my opinion, definitely the best Chinese Takeaway in town, the food is absolutely great, cooked fresh to order, very quick service.

We had a lovely meal from here, delivered to our house. After weeks of lockdown it was a delight not to have to cook that night. Even more of a delight to find the food so well cooked. Terrific food and friendly, informative service.

Never arrived. Waited two hours to be told after I called them that they threw my ticket away. No apology. Not eaten all day and had no food at home. Extremely annoyed. Paid by card and now have to wait days for refund on no income due to corona. I only called them because China express was shut. Rubbish takeaway, will certainly NEVER return . AVoid!!!!!!!!!!!!

Title pretty much says it all. Was quoted 40 to 45 mins, food here in 15. Was well cooked and plentiful. Will definitely get from here again.

We use this takeaway regularly, always get a friendly welcome. Food is great food, always piping hot and delicious. Always quick service,never have to wait. We own a caravan Park and always send out visitors there, never any complaints.

My partner and I absolutely adore this place!! The people taking the phone calls for delivery are always kind and very helpful. The food is fantastic and the portions are big! The satay sauce is better than any other I’ve ever had and I’m a huge fan :,) a-bit oily sometimes but to be honest it doesn’t matter at all because I just mix it in with my noodles and don’t notice. (It’s got quite a kick) I would highly recommend the imperial special chow mein! So good and you get nice big slices of meat on top. Very tasty!! The only flaws I can think of is that we have never got any free prawn crackers or anything like that which I always think is a lovely thing when you get a Chinese. But not a huge issue :,) and it’s more pricey than others around.. but it’s a great place!! We Love it!!

I use this Chinese on the 27th of march 2020 I got back and opened the containers and noticed several hairs in the chicken curry I called the takeaway and they decided to call me a lier and tried to say I was getting a free meal I will Certainly not be going back very disappointed

1st time here and a vegetarian. Mix and matched a few items and all were very tasty! Will go again and again.

Really disgusted in this take away! Food wasn't great at all, cold and small portions for the price. Spent £50 on food and got charged £1.50 for delivery. Ordered chips and they didn't turn up, rang to ask about it and the girl down the phone was very rude and slammed the phone down! do NOT reccomend at all. Really disappointed

Shame it’s usually very good, however missing item cold food, pancake rolls had virtually no filling, charged for delivery even though order was nearly £50 and we only live a couple of miles away, sadly we won’t be going back

Had a takeaway for a girls night in. We did our own rice and noodles. We ordered 3 main courses and duck spring rolls. Plenty of food, generous portions, very tasty.

What can I say apart from awful! Staying on a holiday park. Placed a £48 order. The wait was 45 minutes to and hour and we agree phone call over. Had to call after an hour and 15 minutes to be told that we need to meet driver at reception as security won’t let drivers on site! Rubbish as there is no security at the entrance to the site! Also if that was the case why ask our “door” number. Some of the food arrives, small portions for the price, taste leaves a lot to be desired. Call to ask for missing items and complain food is cold. Still waiting for missing items after 24 minutes. Will not use again and definitely do not recommend! Save your money!

Ok. Don't get carried away. I didn't actually have Chinese food. I bought a portion of chips. They were nice, but only had salt, no vinegar, but hey, it's a Chinese take away, so I won't be critical of that. The staff were friendly and the chips were cooked fresh, so that's why It's four stars. I cannot comment on the Chinese food they serve.

Terrible tasting noodles and mostly overcooked overall experience with this chinese is negative.

Just had one of the best takeaway I have had in a long time. The sweet & sour chicken (Hong Kong style) crispy sweet chilly beef and egg fried rice, makes me want another feast. Grandson was over the moon.

Excellent choice which always surpasses expectations and at a very competitive price.Always receive a service with a smile from all staff members.We always phone and collect which is generally about 10 - 15 minutes.Delivery is also available if you’ve had a few drinks and can’t drive.

Best Chinese in dorchester. Fresh

Been here a few times but last night was so out of character. Ordered as soon as open and I am sure I had left overs from the last shift. Really poor chow mein, crispy beef was not tender, egg fried rice was hard and crunchy, seaweed was awful and prawn crackers were soft. Chicken balls was the only part of the meal that was edible in the opinion of all 7 of us eating. Will never return unfortunately.

Very tricky to choose a take away when you are away as they never really meet expectations. The food was available on time and was OK. Did have an issue with the chips which were not fresh and just heated up, so not good in my opinion. We had the chow mein and chicken with black bean and peppers, again both were OK but didn't impress us enough to come again when in the area. Like I say, it's down to personal opinion and on this occasion middle of the road.

This was the first time we have had a takeaway from the Imperial Dragon and certainly won't be the last. It was the best Chinese meal we have had to date.

Stale prawn crackers Watery curry Tasteless pancake roll Anemic special fried rice. This used to be the best Chinese takeaway in town. Will not be going back.....
