Looking for a wedding venue in locality of Southport, this place knocked spots off everywhere else in Southport. From meeting Julie who runs the venue, the welcome was warm, relaxed and professionally run as Julies experience of doing the role 45 or so years showed. No question was a silly question and Julie gave great advice on alternative ways of decorations, foods, and tips for us as bride and groom. The building is magnificent and we had the whole ground floor solely for wedding party. The chef Phil was amazing as his food for breakfast and evening buffet was, and his laid back attitude of whatever you want I can do not a problem, first class. My wife to be was in tears of joy seeing the actual layout of the wedding breakfast room the day before they did us proud. The whole day was like clockwork professionally run by Julie and her team and made us both feel extra special. Many guests, commented on what a lovely venue this is and how fab the food was. We would highly recommend the venue

My sister and I held a remembrance get together for family and friends to celebrate the life of our mother who passed away in March Julie very kindly specially opened the venue for us on a Sunday and she and her team laid on afternoon tea/coffee with cakes and sandwiches for just over 40 guests. Food was excellent nicely presented on tiered cake stands and the hot drinks were also excellent. Julie kept us ‘topped’ up all afternoon without ever fussing or getting in the way of the speeches and chatting. The venue is spotlessly clean, well furnished and decorated with its own parking and in a central location. Thank you very much to Julie and her catering staff for making the afternoon’s events run so smoothly

Have attended many functions at the Hall, food has also been consistently good. Staff always provide excellent service. Have visited many other Masonic halls but this is one of the best.

We held our wedding reception here a couple of weeks ago and it was wonderful from start to finish. Everything from the food to the help from staff could not be faulted, and helped make our day very special. Julie, Janet, Matthew and the rest of the team, including Giles, the chef, worked tirelessly to make things perfect for us and were very accommodating towards our wishes. We're really pleased we chose them. Our guests were very happy and had a great time too! It's a beautiful hall and very well kept. Thank you everyone who made our day.

What a fabulous different venue for a wedding. Really unique setting for a civil wedding in the masonic lodge room, beautifully appointed. Superb food in the larger dining room, and sensibly priced, without paying a premium for drinks. Well recommended if you are thinking of a different town venue. Situated at the bottom of Lord st with plenty of parking. We had a brilliant day.

Having lost a close friend to the Big C, We gathered for an afternoon buffet at the Masonic Hall. The staff were fabulous and the 'afternoon tea' type buffet was very welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to use this venue for a wedding or funeral. The place is immaculate and the staff very helpful

Been here to a few functions where it's obviously mass catering which I appreciate is always difficult trying to serve everyone hot food at same time. They have a new chef who knocks spots off the old one and pleased to say the food was very good. The decor in the main dining room is a little dated by today's standards but kept very clean and looked after. The bar is reasonable prices and the ladies toilets are spotlessly clean. If having a function I would definitely recommend considering it.

A fascinating venue, well sited for practically all amenities in Southport. The team here deliver excellent service, and even with large parties dining of 70+, everything runs like clockwork. I've been attending the carvery which is run on a monthly(ish) basis for the past few months; the value for money is huge - three courses for £14 a head. The food is equally good - Wayne the chef (and his team) are excellent. Prior to that, I have used this venue for family functions, and have always been well pleased. Added to that, the place has had a recent refurbishment of many areas. There is apparently wi-fi available throughout, although I haven't used it. There is some on-site parking, and any amount of on-street parking nearby, with the church opposite providing additional paid parking. You can't really go too far wrong.

I attended another function at Southport Masonic Hall. The Grade 2 listed building is really beautiful. It has been completely redecorated and I noticed that all the furniture has been redecorated. The staff are very friendly and have helped me to organise a number of events. The food was also very good, with the Chef more than happy to cater to our needs.

Food generally good but massively let down by the wine, Ive tried all three reds on offer and wont try any of them again , very poor quality and Sainsburys is just around the corner, for god sake make an effort . Coffee pretty poor also, but as i said the food is good and good value. Steak great and short ribs great the fish is good but the is wine nasty.. Atmospheric and nice staff a good local haunt let down by the awful wine.. visit and have steak ,fish or ribs , get a beer or soft drink and you wont be let down. Avoid the wine.. Hello again and thanks for your kind response , i know the problems with commercial wine suppliers and its a challenge. Your probably better popping around to Sainsburys every week and buying wines that you have tried before and like. And avoiding a cold cellar with the reds is a good idea, they will be fine unopened for months kept in the bar area, and at a better temperature when people buy them. I have always enjoyed the food and the steak and pepper sauce i had a few weeks ago was the best thing I have eaten in Crosby all year, The sauce was really fantastic, you could tell it was exactly what it should be. The staff are great , food great. The coffee thing is down to my preference i suppose , I love a dark roast Italian and I am not really a fan of modern fruity coffee that seems to be all the rage at the moment. So I love what your doing and will return, my comments were made with the best possible intentions and I am please Crosby has another good place to eat.. You seem to be doing very well , busy and a good atmosphere... A credit to the area (Next time can i pay corkage and bring my own) Ive revisited and i love what they are doing , the food is the best around, great atmosphere and lovely staff.

Can’t fault this place. Best breakfast food you’d get anywhere in the world. But it’s the very lovely service you get here that makes it so special. Croziers loves their customers and that comes across. On that note, the Earl grey tea is awful. Other brands out there do a lot better. Bird & Blend, maybe Williamson’s. I’ll have coffee next time

Amazing food. Everything was presented and tasted lovely. Nice relaxed atmosphere and service was not rushed at all. Portions are large so don't order too much. We would definitely return.
