Ordered doner kebab and fries. Become a regular and get looked after, god that was quick, and on a Friday night too. Big … too big to finish it all. Much better attention to customer service than other places like … oh I don’t know … Istanbul disgusting

I ordered for takeaway through deliveroo and all I got was soggy rice. The shish kebab was alright but the foul smell that came with the rice ruined it.

Just ordered food for me and my family and we wasn't impressed not 1 of us ate it. Chicken in the chicken burgers was sloppy and didn't smell very nice at all and the chips were overcooked.

The curly fries i got were really nice but the creamy chickwn wings were aweful. Had it ordered a while ago and now i'm feeling aweful. Don't know about the rest of the food but avoid the chicken wings. Fast services though.

There was a gray hair in the batter of my chicken wing!!!! Not only is it a health and safety violation but it is simply disgusting.I usually come here after a night out but to be honest I’d rather eat dry cardboard paper instead of eating a chicken wing with hair in it.

Had chicken and chips the chicken was really bland for southern fried chicken no taste at all and the fries tasted like they had been cooked in bad oil I will not eat here again and I do not recommend this place to anyone else.

Waited hour and a half and called restaurant. They then claimed they'd been knocking on the door and calling me despite neither being true. Very appalled with no reparation service offered. Terrible establishment.

used to use this company after a night out and noticed they short changed me because I was drunk. but I picked up on this and the following time I went in I pretended to be wasted and as expected ge short changed me, pulled him up on this and instantly gave me my money. I then told everyone else in the shop and then they realised that they had been also done aswell. they then got what they were owed. I'd never use them again, never forgot that guys face, dirty robbing basted. Disgusting behaviour to gain a few extra quid.

Easily one of the best kebab I’ve had in a while ! Had a special request that I forgot to include in the notes of my order, but I called up and was able to make a change with no problems at all :) legendary food at a high quality well done the team !!

I asked for cheesy chips and meat, and received no cheese on my chips or meat, I paid full price for the cheese and chips plus meat option but didn’t receive it

I want kebab not a snake long meat cuts, separate salats, no pit, and no mixed sauce with clear request. Giving extra star just because of price. (First time biching about food online)

The order arrived after one and a half hour. After 45min of placing the order when I called the guy told me that the delivery driver is stuck in trafic and would arrive in 10min. 15 min later when I called the same guy told me that he'll start preparing the order then and was stuck doing something else. The order finally arrived 30 min there after.

They sold me off food . Also I was charged for double fillet burger , they gave be single fillet burger.

One of my favourite chicken and chicken restaurant in Colchester. I love going here for my chicken and chips whenever I’m in Colchester and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting or planning to stay within the Colchester environs

Bad service I was ignored to start with after asking to be served i payed for my meal and I watched him serve me cold dry chips that had been sitting there for a while so I said don't worry and walked out to go elsewhere they can keep the money

I will not give any star to this restaurant because we ordered for chicken donners without salad (I feel nauseous with cabbage). Now, I understand that it was late at night & mistakes happen so I called them up just to let them know & to ask them to be careful next time but the person who answered the call said that even if you select no salad we still send salad & this is how it's supposed to be. Why give the other person the option to choose no salad, I also wonder what would have happened if I selected the salad option if this was what no salad meant. Making a mistake is fine but at least own up to it. Now I've spent 7£ on something that makes me nauseous at 2 in the morning with no other options & nothing to eat only to have someone from the restaurant be rude to me. Disappointed 😔

By far the best post drink place on Queen St (Kebab Alley). Vegetarian pizza is great and less generic than the other similar places.

Usually good food but the last 2 months absolutely wrong, I've ordered the same meal for the last 2 years and the last 2 times have been diabolical.

Absolutely disgraceful, I ordered a half chicken and chips from here and I have had food poisoning for 21 days. In this time I haven’t been able to work, had to stop going gym, have had to use the cab to go everywhere and have been bed ridden when at home. Subsequently I’ve had to have blood tests and other tests at the doctors. Maddest thing is I’ve ordered from here for years and that’s how they do a returning customer. Might even take this further, what a utter shambles

I have been ordering from them many times, they are nice and friendly, their food is very tasty, especially spicy hot wings and their chilli sauce I highly recommend their spicy hot wings, chicken burger and chicken shish kebab

Before Covid I used to go in on my own, for my dinner. Watch TV, and the GENTLEMAN were always kind and polite. I only get a delivery now and they ate definitely 5* in all departments

Just ordered food from here and absolutely disgusting, the veggie burger was slammed in mayo and the donner kebab I got was not even a kebab, pitta not even cut and dripping in fat, this was that bad we ended up putting in the bin

Highly not recommended, doesn’t deserve any stars, these have no idea what is peri peri chicken, it’s steamed chicken with masala, hot wings with chilli powder, they need proper training. It’s completely waste of time and money

Would leave a zero if possible. Completely Incompetent staff, messed up my order entirely , we had to throw the food away because all the food was entirely wrong. The man serving us called back our food correctly but presented us with entirely wrong items, don’t waste your time with here go up the road instead and try crystals. The staff often find themselves not replying to negative feedback aswell

Worst peri peri chicken ever. Ordered via Uber eats, the chicken was smelly and stale. Such a bad experience. Lesson learned will never be ordering from them. Have to throw away more than half of the ordered meal.

I went to an event in Atik a couple of weeks ago and at the end we walked over so we could grab food. My friends and I called a taxi which we were not told the number plate for. When looking for our taxi, a man pulled up and claimed to be a taxi driver but told us his strange rule that only one person was allowed in the car despite having a four seater. We thought this was strange so we didn’t get in. He turned out to be a delivery driver for this particular chicken shop. When I confronted him and the store owners, they just laughed it off when he was acting a serious threat. This review is mostly a warning for young women to be wary and stay away. I’m already in the process of communicating this experience to the women’s union in the University of Essex as we were all quite shaken up.

Food is good, only complaint is the prices have gone up but yet the portions of meat in kebabs and wraps has gotten smaller.

Got deliveries from here over the past year, had a few cold orders however ordered tonight after not using for over a month and I have to say the food was absolutely beautiful and fresh and come piping hot.

I see why boss man give me a extra chicken when I order 2 chicken and some wings. Literally they severed me raw Wings and chicken. I will just stick with KFC or McDonald

Ordered 20 wings and had to cook them again when I got home as they were tasteless and undercooked. Waste of £12. Awful. I watched the chef take them out of a frozen bag and but them in a fryer in front of me with no hesitation

Best chicken in Colchester. Arguably better than KFC, always juicy. Secondly the pizzas are incredible, and very generous with toppings. The staff always listen to requests and they are the most polite takeaway staff I have ever spoken too! A hidden GEM!

Ordered two chicken doner meals, both completely overpowering taste of garam masala, sweet and sickly to eat all the way through, nothing like decent chicken doner, change the supplier because that was disgusting would not recommend, overpriced waste of money 🤑

was told to use this place by a friend so i did food arrived cold when i called i was told it couldn't be as he just made it the meat was poor and pre over cooked. they did send another for which i was grateful but the kebab wasn't much better sadly wont use again

Worst ribs and fried chicken I have ever eaten. They were over cooked. The éclair and the apple pie were almost expired. The food was delivered on time. I definitely won't recommend.

Half chicken was breaded and greasy. Chips were dry. Chicken didn't look very fresh. Chicken kebab was bland. Best bit was the salad. Disappointing. Won't be ordering from here again.

Delivery was supposed to arrive at 0115, at 0104 I received a message telling me that the order was on it's way, but at 2pm it was still not here so I called the restaurant who sounded suspicious and told me repeatedly that it was 'impossible' that I could have ordered through justeat. After I gave them all the details they found my order and made it for me again, it was delivered very quickly but they forgot the large cheesy chips.altogether dissapointng and a waste of time and money.

Food was pretty good but restaurant don't follow delivery instructions so be careful. Clearly asked not to knock since it was 2am, but they didnt listen. Other than that I'm happy.

Really dissapointed! They - for some unknown reasons - sent me something completely different than what I ordered. Some half-chewed cold chicken instead of chips, a wrap that only had lettuce (I ordered kebab, not shredded lettuce). On top of that (which should have been a biblical sign), after a night of pain and suffering, I had my bottom part believe itself to be the Niagara fall.

I had a really simple order (Chips, burger, kebab, and drinks). I received the burger and the drinks as per as the order, but instead of the chips I got a cold chicken piece, and instead of the kebab I got a wrap that had lettuce and kebab meat in it. Really dissatisfied, not ordering from here anymore.

Where should I start? I had a simple, easy to follow order. It included chips, a burger, and a kebab. Instead, ( I don't know how) they sent me a wrap of lettuce, half-chewed chicken, and the buger (which was decent at best). Maybe they are dislexic, I have no idea, but it does not take a PHD to put together a simple order. On top of that, I had the brown liquid flowing out of me.

I have still not gotten my order it’s been over 2 hours. I call the restaurant and they say it’s going to be here now I call again and again and they say it’s here now but it’s not. Terrible service on the restaurants part and just eat. Never again

Chicken burgers were good. Order onion bhaajis, but got onion rings. Drinks arrived almost hot like they’ve been left outside and ice cream totally melted. Chips needed longer to cook too. I’d order again but might rethink what I order next time...first time Ive ever had drink and ice cream hotter than the food.

When you have a chicken shop or something similar you have to get the basics right. Hot crispy chips, cold drinks, moist chicken...the chicken burgers were ok, but dry. I ordered onion bhaajis and got onion rings instead. Drinks were almost hot, ice cream totally melted which means they didn’t have a cool box to transport the drinks in. Felt like they’d been left out the whole time meaning the food was colder than the drink and my ice cream is in the freezer now, maybe I’ll have it tomorrow. Guys, come on...you can do it better. Get the basics right. Have some pride in your work.

Won’t be ordering from here ever again last 3x I’ve ordered and my food has been stone cold actually colder than the can of drink! I’ve always eaten from here even after a night on the town before I go home but after being poorly for 4days after I certainly won’t be going here again

Pizza was really good (hence the 3 stars), however the garlic bread was like a frozen supermarket baguette that had been microwaved for 30 seconds. And to top it off the wine was awful. It may only be £10 a bottle (which is good compared to other takeaways) but you can get a decent bottle from supermarket for £5, so a bottle of 8% acidic fruit juice is not acceptable, and certainly was not what we received last time we ordered from here.

I ordered cookie dough ben and Jerry's ice cream £6 (over priced for something I didn't order) and got some chocolate flavoured one without telling me and it was in the same bag as the hot food.

Been given the complete wrong order??? Things missing - have not received chicken nuggets or chips!
