My family has been using South Garden for the last two decades and we've never had a bad word to say about the food quality nor pricing; highly recommend for good-value fish and chips and Chinese takeaways!

Asked for sausage and chips,given the worst chips which were old chips mixed in and the smallest portion ever.very dissapointed and will not give them my custom anymore.what a joke of a meal.stay away standards have dropped.

We recently arrived in Southport and on our first night was seeking a Chinese takeaway. I googled the closest takeaway and phoned requesting some meals (I had no menu). The chap on the phone was great and really helpful. Food was cooked wonderfully and tasted delicious. Extra treat that each meal came with rice or chips (fish and chip shop chips!) so we had plenty of food for a really decent price. Thanks so much, we will be back.

Sandown Court
The hoisin sauce was missing from our duck, the soups were bland and the chicken and ginger dish was overpowering. To be fair to them we didn’t call them to rectify the issue as they had already told us their driver was finishing early so we knew there was nothing they could do anyway. Just disappointing

136 South RoadJust to let people know the food is excellent and very good prices but they need to update the times they open as they are not correct as published. They are only open on Thursday , Friday ,Saturday and Sunday opening at 4.30 Thursday to Saturday and from 5.30 on Sunday but i cant praise them enough they are excellent.

171-173 Liverpool Road NorthLast week I ordered fish, chips and mushy peas! My meal was freshly cooked and piping hot when I got home. The fish was large and cooked to perfection! And the chips...... just the way I like them! I enjoyed having banter with the staff whilst I was waiting for my food. The behind the counter staff were really lovely! The portions are very large, by the way! I got half a portion of chips and had to leave some because I was full up. Lisa x
