Fabulous food. Friendly staff. Cool vibe. Our waitress was lovely and helpful. Meals came fast. Would go back again and again.

The food was amazing, really healthy and delicious. The service was excellent too and it was very good value. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back soon.

Delicious and healthy food. They make a tasty filling for the chicken in Jerk chicken and the rice is perfectly cooked. Recommend plantain chips too. A relative of mine went on a separate occasion and ordered the goat curry and really enjoyed that. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. It’s worth 5 stars.

The jerk chicken was some of the best I have ever had. So tender and well seasoned. The cocktails were excellent also, with the fresh blended mango. And the owners were some of the nicest guys that I have met. Highly recommend.

Ribs are unbelievable- like from another world. I can't believe the cocktails are £5 as they're delicious and suuuper fresh.

The owners of the restaurant make you feel very confortable as they aproach to you very friendly. Food was great, very spicy.

Can't lie, the food was really good. I got the 'jerk chicken' with rice, medium hot. It was amazing, sort of healthy, super soft brown rice, fragrant and spiced from the inside. Loved it!!

The burger.... oh the burger. Was only there at the weekend and I miss it already... Eaten quality burgers all over Europe and North America and this one is firmly in the top 5. If you live in or are visiting Brighton I couldn't recommend this place enough. And the owners are lovely guys to boot. Best of luck and I hope to see you again soon!!!

We had the jerk fish and plantain chips. Both were fantastic but particularly the fish. Very friendly staff, looking forward to going again.

What a burger! The meat is fresh and juicy, and the coleslaw is to die for. Fries are crispy and with the right amount of salt. Perfect burger and mostly likely the best burger in Brighton. The staff are very friendly and accommodating as well. You can't ask for more. Definitely going back to try the other items on the menu. I'll most likely pick the burger again.

Absolutely amazing. Flew from Florida over to visit and this was the first restaurant I went to. Great food and service. Overall just an amazing experience here. Definitely will recommend friends and family in Miami to visit here.

The food is amazing as is the service! The food is freshly cooked with love and care ever time. I particularly love the Jerk Fish; delicate, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. I've eaten there three times since it's opened and it's been fantastic every time!

Great hearty, Afro-Carribean dishes. Super cheap cocktails and lovely owners. Reccomend the plantains.

My partner and I had a wonderful evening at this lovely restaurant last Thursday. We started with plantain chips, which were perfectly cooked and delicious. Then had the veggie jumblia and stuffed bell pepper with rice. Both tasted wonderful and I would highly recommend. Despite being pretty full and very satisfied, we were curious about the sweet potato pie for desert, which we found so incredibly moist and tasty. No complaints here on food! Secondly, the staff were so friendly and attentive. We felt like friends by the end and they shared knowledge on where to buy local West African snack foods. Thank you to Hilda, George and Brian for a lovely evening!

I love this place! SoulFoo was one of the first restaurants I tried when I moved to Brighton. They cook everything upon order, so your food will always be fresh. Their customer service is great, when you come in they make you feel right at home. I've been twice now and got the burger both times. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

The Curried Goat was particularly superb and a dish which our Centennial Reserve Barbera 2015 from Walkabout Wines' Southern Highlands of NSW Wines with Altitude range would totally pair with! These guys are really into their food! Absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked lunch had here yesterday. Really friendly atmosphere. Some very tasty vegan dishes too. Highly recommended!

Was only here an hour ago,asked for jerk chicken and rice and for it to be hot I asked for it to be takeaway as working a night. Friendly staff made me feel very comfortable. I got in my lorry and smashed through it! Congrats to the chef as got the heat spot on. Defo will be returning hopefully not on a night shift so I can sit down and relax over a rum. Thanks guys 5*

Just had the Philly Cheese Burger. The flavours were popping, so so tasty! Will definitely be back with some friends! Compliments to the chef and staff.

If you want to taste a jerk chicken, go to visit that place. Fantastic and friendly waiters for a perfect Afro Caribbean food. Highly recommended
