Mad good food for vegans Jamaica style

We had the jerk chicken and the vegetarian lasagna, with a beef patty on the side for laters. The food was excellent - would definitely visit again if we are in the area. Only a small seating area, but it was comfortable and well decorated, and the service was friendly & efficient too.

Lovely service and delicious food for a great price. Felt like we were sitting in a family kitchen, chatting and eating.

It’s such a shame because the food here is really nice and authentic but the service is terrible. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ordered from this place to take away and I arrive slightly after the time I’m told the food will be ready - and they haven’t even started cooking with no apology or acknowledgement. It wasn’t a mistake, they just like to lie to customers and say the food will be ready when in reality, they will not start cooking until you get there. Not at all respectful to people’s timings. I’m really waiting for a truly authentic carribean food spot that operates in a professional manner.

Oxtail was cooked to perfection, mac and cheese was also lovely. The lady added free coleslaw as we couldn’t decide on having it, 100% recommend it to everyone who likes Caribbean food!

Do not order hard food from here. Came slightly gone off. Also the salt fish and ackee dumplings come very soggy. Also don’t order oxtail hardly anymore meat just 2 ox tail and I dunno what else it is they added but yeah trust me bro u don’t want that. Order curry goat or fried fish that’s about it don’t risk it honestly

Soul and Eden were very kind as I didn’t understand the order they sent me a complimentary rice and salad. It was very kind of them. Which I appreciated.

So so delicious!!! So many vegan options and so many flavours. Me and my partner couldn't speak throughout we were so obsessed with the food!!

This is real good food. You can tell that the chefs really know what they’re doing. The depth of flavour is Exquisite. Even the rice and peas is so wonderfully cooked. This is real good quality. Some other Caribbean restaurants are full of additives but this is fresh and delicious. Worth every penny. And very competitive prices and good deals. I will definitely be eating from here again. Just like my Jamaican grandma’s cooking

Ordered red pea soup and shocked with receiving half a dumpling and no meat. I had called company to be told I should’ve asked. Well I’ve never had red pea soup with its proper ingredients. Back to one Carribbean in Harlesden. Water soup texture. I am convinced reviews are fake also making me jump up with a fever.

I have only been once but I can say that the food was delicious! Ingredients are sourced and purchased by the chef so the food is of high quality and presented beautifully. I would definitely go back there again.

Atmosphere was good. Nice music playing when we sat down to eat in. Very friendly staff/owners and very clean. Most of all, food was 10/10!! Flavours were on point!! Seriously the best Caribbean food I’ve tried yet! Oxtail stew was 10/10!

I received hard food. It had a carrot in it. When I spoke to the man over the phone, that was not included. I asked for more yam in substitution for dumpling. they gave me dumpling and it tasted like pork. The yam tasted perfumed. The saltfish stuffed dumpling, so much onion, mushy ackee, the dumpling tasted like a sweet doughnut, sprayed with perfume/antiperspirant, it is supposed to be savoury. Something is not right. Tasted more like leftovers. When I opened the dumpling, it was slimy. Yuck!

Portions for the price are small and lots of bones in both oxtail and mutton.Will not be ordering again

tastes like someone who isn't caribbean has cooked the food not authentic. meat was dry and they use broken rice.

The service is appalling so sad they businesses like the drop the ball where it matters they can’t even simply communicate correct preparation times for collection. Said ten minutes got to the shop in 20 minutes and waited 18 minutes. Been back and everything was very punctual and on time waiting for me. Seems they take care of any worries customers have. Amazing food 🫶🏾

Wow 👌 this place 😍 👏 Oreded curry goat and rice which was just delicious 😋 My other half had the boneless chicken with rice he was very happy The dumplings were yummy 😋 We are Very happy and full thank youuuuuu 😊 Really nice to have a place like this on our door step Will definitely come back

We dined at this charming Caribbean restaurant two evenings in a row. We stumbled upon it by chance and were delighted to find the food exceptionally tasty! The staff was friendly and took the time to explain the dishes in detail. I highly recommend trying the Stew Chicken with side dishes of your choice. Even the coleslaw was delicious!

Small but quaint, they serve the most delicious Carribean food I have had in a very long time. Service was so friendly and sincere that it was simply a pleasure to eat in. I enjoyed their goat with quinoa, while my wife had their corn fritters with a delicious sauce that it came with. The order came out hot, fast, and with the oh so friendliest of service. It's too bad we only stayed in London for two days, if it had been more, we would have definitely returned.

Mac was tasteless and no cheese at all just plonker in the container, rice was really cold, and bbq chicken was really tough, disappointing as this is normally my go to place

The food was so good. We had been at an exhibition all day and this was round the corner from where we were staying. We ordered a LOT of food but it was all reasonably priced We honestly couldn’t pick what we preferred Loads of vegan options to choose from. Huge cabinet of drinks Staff very friendly

Fantastic Caribbean soulfood with courteous and polite staff. I'm not the most versed and don't have it all too often but their jerk chicken and patties are highly recommended and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Great cozy and welcoming atmosphere too - could easily tell from the moment we walked in that it's popular amongst local residents and regulars.

Really really disappointed as there was not nearly enough for price paid and in comparisons to other Caribbean Takeaways where you get rice n peas with a plantain even as a main. I took a chance on this and currently talking about this to my partner at how upset I am about this meal. Oxtail meat not enough, sauce is not thick enough, the dumpling was nice but I am still hungry after paying for a full meal with a rum cake. If you are going to put this as a main the portion may need to be bigger.

I was working in Hammersmith area and needed soul food, this wonderful restaurant did not disappoint, amazing food, full flavoured n a great atmosphere. I highly recommend Soul n Eden, curry goat n chicken stew on separate occasions, perfection, cheers all.

I got the oxtail and was sceptical as it’s been hard to find good food in the area. The oxtail was delicious and fell off the bone and was flavourful and came hot😊 will be ordering again.

My son and I were there today the Ox tail and chicken jerk dishes were so tasty, the atmosphere and the service was great too Will be coming again, for sure, thank you

Food was hot and tasted lovely, I couldn't get enough. Especially that pattie, made me feel like I was back in JA on the beach it was soo good, the drinks were flavourful too and the 2 for £6 was a good deal, I really enjoyed my sorrel. I will defo order from here again

Brilliant little eatery that has opened on Shepherd's Bush road. We ordered the Stew Chicken with rice & peas.along with Fruit Punch, BBQ wings with Avocado salad & water & Fried fish Escovitch with plain rice & Coleslaw.along with Fruit Punch. As everything was cooked fresh it did take longer to arrive than expected but it was worth the wait. All the food was tasty along with the Fruit Punch. Another plus was that they cook with basmati rice which is the.only rice I like. One of the group went on to order a slice (a large one!!) Of Victoria Sandwich cake & custard. They said it was moist and you could see that it was the right ratio of buttercream & jam to cake. Will definitely be eating there again. A really good example of Carribbean food done well.

I loved the food at Soul and Eden and the people working there are so friendly. It’s a cool atmosphere, good vibes and the food is so delicious! I love the vegetarian, Caribbean options! Most Caribbean shops only offer plantain as a veg option! I’m looking forward to coming back for more.

We stumbled upon Soul and Eden on our way out of London and in need of food. What a lovely place , we had a wonderful meal for two , beautifully cooked and the two ladies there were so friendly and chatty. Highly recommended, will visit again.

Im convinced these reviews are fake. The takeout service on JustEat is a scam. The veggie curry was a vile serving - all rice and barely any curry. I literally paid 11 for a serving of rice they should be ashamed to send that off. The mac and cheese was pure grease with a bad combination of cheeses. Tasted like cheap cheddar. The portion was also a rip-off for £5. The sweetcorn fritters were fine for the price portion wise but some were undercooked. The coleslaw was around 5 tablespoons for £3.50, when I saw the portion I thought it was a sick joke. Overall, the food didn’t actually taste that bad but I hate feeling scammed. Not worth the money.

Really want to try the food for a while. Have to say the food was delicious. The ve sweet potato and pumpkin curry and seaweed fritters were lovely. I ordered on Just Eat and the food took longer to come than estimated. I will suggest that the menu information is updated to include allergens and overall more information about the ingredients in the dishes as this would be helpful for those that want to eat. But overall, I enjoyed my food and recommend.

I had jerk chicken with rice and peas with some plantain on the side. All really good some of the best rice and peas I’ve had. Had some Guinness punch after that was so rich and nicely spiced. Will definitely be coming back here.

We travelnto London weekly and was referred to this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, I had the oxtails and beans & rice along with an order of plantains, all was so delicious. Afterwards we treated ourselves to a slice of Rum cake & ice cream, another hit. My friend had the fish and steamed cabbage, which she loved. We will be going back there. Now about the service, Savanah was one of the best servers we've had in a long time. She was courteous, professional and a little shy. We met the owner and she is very friendly, professional and approachable. The prices are good, the food is great and the service just happens to great as well. Give them a try, you wont be sorry. I can't wait to have more of those oxtails, yummy.

My partner and I order take-away at least once a week from here. We love the tasty food and it's authenticity, the staff's warm welcoming and of course the old school tunes they play that take me back to my childhood whilst we wait. Highly recommend, there's no better than here!

This is probably the worst ackee and saltfish dish ever. I've just paid £10.50 for a side portion without rice or food. I won't be going to them again. If I could give no stars I would. I had bad service from this place before. I don't know what made me think it would change. They will not be getting any more of my money.

The food was so good I forgot to take a picture! Forget all the high st restaurant chains and eateries. This is what great local value for money food is all about. Do yourself a favour and place an order. I guarantee you won’t regret it.
