Small burger joint. Good lunch time deal of £9 for burger fries and drink

Super strange experience - the lady working at the front refused for us or any of the other people waiting for a table to wait inside on the 2nd floor which was completely empty. She said it was company policy that people were not allowed to wait for a table inside the restaurant even though the entire floor area was empty. We were not the only group that had this complaint as there were several other groups that the lady at the front refused to allow to wait on the EMPTY second floor area. The lady also refused to give her name as she knew a bad review for her rude behaviour was likely. Therefore I didn’t get her name but it was the only lady working at the door on evening of 26.04.2025

Decent place with nice members of stuff

Was well looked after by Callum as soon as I entered the restaurant. Food was honestly tasty, and beer was delicious. First visit and will be back!

Where should I even start.. This is my go-to place to go on evenings in Hammersmith with my girls honestly, fantastic food. The cokes are always crisp, the burgers great, not to mention the service. Lovely all around xx

Their food is delicious, the service is excellent, and they are nice to deal with. The place is crowded. I visited the restaurant early and entered quickly, but there is crowding when I leave and there is no prior reservation.

The burgers are well made. The beef is juicy and thick (medium), the pickle is fresh and the truffle source is also very good. Score: 9/10 Fries are good with rosemary favours. Crispy and freshly made, but lacking a bit of complexity in the taste. Score: 8/10 Onion rings are very crispy. Score: 8/10 Local beer - Orbit Nico Score: 8/10 Price is also very reasonable.

Very very very tasty burger, perfectly fried patty. smashed really well. But my personal highlight were the chicken wings, they were the best I've ever had so far, just perfect!!!

These are honestly the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. I’m not even joking. Unbelievable. The chips are way below average (burnt and dry and grim) but well worth the five stars just for the burgers alone, sack off the chips and get an extra burger is my recommendation

En Londres durante unos días, alojarse en la zona de Hammersmith y mi hijo va en busca de una hamburguesa, se encontró con este lugar que estaba a pocos pasos del hotel. Es un lugar genial, tipo funky y el personal era muy atento y dio un buen servicio 14 / 2 / 25. Los dos pedimos la hamburguesa Honest, medio rara con alitas de búfalo a un lado. La comida era excepcional. El filete se pica, no se pica antes de conformarse en una hamburguesa dándole tan buena textura. Alas, tan buenas como puedas. La cerveza local también era encantador. De hecho, todo estaba tan bien, que volvimos la noche siguiente y tuvimos exactamente lo mismo!

The burgers are well made. The meat is juicy and thick, the pickle is fresh and the red onion relish is also very good. Score: 9/10 Fries are okay but not exceptionally good. Crispy and freshly made, but lacking a bit of complexity in the taste. I would give it a 7.5/10 Price is also very reasonable, worths every penny.

This restaurant is a 10/10! Great Service, really really nice burgers , drinks and super chill Ambience! If you are close to Hammersmith and have cravings for a nice delicious burger this is the place to go to!!

Great burgers, service completely ruined by Honest Burgers’ management’s terrible decision to use Uber Eats for deliveries. We have had so many issues with Uber Eats when ordering from Honest with orders frequently taking well over an hour and often 1.5-2 hours. Unfortunately tonight was the last straw and after having been a frequent orderer of Honest we are no longer going to order from them thanks to Uber Eats.

This is one of my top 3 honest burgers to go to, although because I struggle with crouds, so I tend to avoid it just before a show is due to start next door although they do manage the madness well. They take allergies seriously, staff are friendly and efficient, and the quality of the food is consistently good.

The service was non existent the team were just huddled down the far end chatting. No check back on food, no second offer on drinks which we would have had. Had to go up and ask for the bill which was then dropped down on the table without any acknowledgement. Meat burgers were good, but the bacon plant was burnt and plain. Our cutlery was underneath our chips and was scorching hot where it must have sat under the lights.

Decent burgers... nice local beer. Would go again if in Hammersmith

Me llevé a mi padre anciano aquí porque había estado en Honest Burger en Camden y me impresionó la comida y esa ubicación está muy cerca del Hammersmith Apollo, donde debíamos ver Only Fools and Horses. Mi papá eligió la hamburguesa de pollo festiva que era crujiente pero tierna, cubierta con queso camembert y salsa de arándanos. Tomé una hamburguesa de ternera, cocinada medianamente, de nuevo cubierta con camembert y salsa de arándanos. Nuestras dos hamburguesas fueron servidas con sabrosas papas de romero y las dos disfrutamos.

Nice smash burgers plus chips were lovely. Just over the road from the tube station. Gets busy though at certain times.

I will start with atmosphere and because it has always been a Friday lunch there is none but that's just because we are so early so it's not a fair score really. Service was hit and miss pending on individual staff members as it differed every time. We went 3 weeks on the trot as the burgers were so good however on week 3 we said let's all try the chicken burger....... "Honestly " excuse the pun the chicken was so flat and nonexistent that we didn't return for a fourth week. Overall loved the beef patties but I really think your chicken burgers need to change.

Gran carne de res pero demasiado salada para mi gusto. Las patatas fritas estaban calientes en lugar de calientes y estábamos tan decepcionados con la falta de ambiente que terminamos y nos fuimos. El personal era bueno, pero si no pueden hacerlo bien la primera vez no vuelvo.

Came with a party of about 25 staff for a work dinner. We had the Christmas menu £20 for a burger, fries, additional side and a drink. The meal was lovely and service on the night was great. A lovely waitress who accommodated the whole group really well. The still lemonade was delicious! Be careful to check what drinks are included in the deal. However... booking the meal was a nightmare from start to finish. Tried to call and the phone just rang out. Lengthy delays between emails. A deposit paid £5 per person this was not deducted from the bill and has still not been returned. A real shame that the booking system turned what should have been a lovely experience into a sour one!

Popped in for a quick bite before a gig. Absolutely amazing burgers and the gravy was to die for!! Great service and reasonable pricing. 10/10!!

I did an online order for me and my friend. Not only did we have to wait 15 minutes after booked collection time, our order was wrong, causing issues for my friend who has allergies and the burger was basically still mooing even though we’d specified for it to be cooked more. Very disappointing.

High quality products, tasty local recipes / specials, outstanding and personalised customer service (hi to Georgia, Sammy, Ben, and the rest of the team in Hammersmith!), always smiling and helpful… you can go for a date, family meal, friends gathering, pre-show at the Appolo or just by yourself, it’s a nice experience in any configuration! Burgers are average. Service is incredible slow and they charge you service charges without warning and for what? Today was first and last time I visited that joint.

Food took more than 20 minutes. Burgers arrived dry and burnt although ordered medium. Like they were cooked twice! I’ve tried many honest burgers branches, this experience was undoubtedly the worst.

Buena comida, como siempre. Tuve el especial triple cheddar. Viajamos mucho desde Bournemouth para conciertos y si estamos viendo uno en el Apollo este siempre es nuestro restaurante. ¡Vuelve otra vez!

Didn't get to eat here as they wouldn't sell me a kids burger since I am not a child. The regular burgers with 4+ grams of salt is far too much

Even if the ambient and people are very nice, I ate the worst burger ever. I felt like eating some cheap french fries. homemade will be so good, why not give a try! and the meat of the burger was full of bones and nerves. I don’t recommand the no gluten bread, it’s awfull. It took me hours to digest the all thing.

Really good food. Maybe the place could have felt cleaner. Service was acceptable, got our water when our meal was basically finished. Would probably visit again.

The team have learnt fast how to make the new version of smashed burger well. It is very good, a little more crispy on the outside and even thinner. I know for a fact it's a few grams less than previously but it is also very slightly cheaper. The atmosphere at HB early at 11am was calm, and the music was low which I appreciated. Service was fast and attentive.

Very good smash burger and fries.

Attended there for a casual team lunch. It is located in close proximity to the local block of offices. The Honest Burger was tasty and as expected. The oregano on chips was a nice touch. The mint lemonade became a personal favourite. It is situated in a building which seems to have served as a pub previously. The atmosphere is this of a pub. There were no paper tissues for drying hands in the toilets at the time of the visit.

Sadly, our group of 4 was left waiting greater than an hour due to a supposed system issue. It was not nice seeing groups who arrived after us get their food and finish it before we got any food. Sadly the staff seemed quite resistive to our concerns and brushed it off as a system concern. The food is as expected. Although we've come here multiple times the overall experience was quite impactful and we will likely go elsewhere from now on.

One of the best burger I’ve ever had

Llamamos, sin reserva, ya que está casi cerca - puerta al Apollo (un par de puertas hacia abajo hacia la ciudad). El personal era muy amable y servicial. La comida era absolutamente de primera clase, recién preparada (no hay hamburguesas recalentadas bajo una lámpara caliente aquí) y creo que puedo decir honestamente que esta fue una de las mejores hamburguesas que he tomado en cualquier restaurante cubierto con un queso excelente (esa marca en particular de queso solo está disponible hasta mediados de noviembre aparentemente) , y sí - REAL CHEESE. Debe tener en cuenta que el restaurante sirve las bebidas habituales, incluido el alcohol (cerveza, sidra, vino, ponche de ron, etc. ) pero no té o café, y tampoco ofrece un postre - pero no sería por esto que visitaría Honest Burgers - vas allí por la carne magnífica y, por lo tanto, grandes hamburguesas!

Very friendly staff, Jonny and Sammy as super kind and fantastic! Nice burgers and chips the only sad thing is that there is no terrace, but the music and the environment is very pleasant! They should add some more drinks in the menu!! But it was delicious. Everything was super tasty and I had great recommendations as well!!

At first, I was surprised when a relatively small-looking burger arrived at my table, but let me tell you – looks can be deceiving! It not only looked delicious, but the taste was phenomenal. It packed an incredible amount of flavor, and despite its size, it left me feeling more than satisfied. Honestly, I’d much rather have a perfectly crafted, smaller burger that delivers an explosion of taste than those oversized ones that often lack flavor. Honest Burger truly lives up to its name – no pretenses, just quality, honest food. The flavors were top-notch, and it’s now one of my favorite burger joints. Oh, and a special mention to the basil fries and BBQ gravy – I’d come back any day just for those!

Tasty burger with generous toppings, beef patty was slightly less flavourful as burgers in other countries but I believed this is the characteristic of British beef, and all burgers come with fries which is fantastic, reasonably priced and good service by the waitress.

Excellent burger! In and out within 30 mins before show at Apollo. Just what is needed. We didn’t have to wait at all before going in but when we left there was quite a big queue so best to go in earlier if possible.

Amazing smash burgers! The flavors in these smash burgers are unreal – everything blends together perfectly, creating an explosion of taste that hits you all at once. Plus, the prices are super reasonable! We had such a great time here, and we really hope this place sticks around for a long time. Highly recommend!

I ate in this place yesterday but the flavours of the double smash burger are still in my mind. The environment was really warm, kind and chilly. I just enjoyed a flavourful meal without any bad thoughts!!

I was so excited to try this place out after so many good reviews. I ordered the double smashed burger and chicken wings. The burger was dry and absolutely tasteless. I had to drown it in ketchup to finish it. The meat was dry and way overcooked. Zero taste. The chicken wings were dry and did not taste fresh. I was shocked by what i tasted.

Terrible experience. My takeaway order never arrived, and Uber blamed Honest, while Honest blamed Uber. Stuck in the middle with no food and no resolution. Very frustrating—neither side took responsibility.

Had one of the best burgers I have ever eaten.... This place needs to shout about there food......and about there prices you would pay twice as much 2 miles closer to the city for less quality 👍🏻👍🏻

We were very happy to find they had space for us. The vibe of the place was great; really lively. I can honestly say that the 'Tribute' burger was one of the best burgers I had had in a very long time. You also need to add the gravy to have on your chips. You won't regret it.

The worst burger I’ve had overcooked & hard & yuck - so bad I just wanted to leave it. Water coleslaw with crunch in a tin. Crunchy spicy onion ring - with an urk oily aftertaste & little onion taste - overcooked. Audacity to include a service charge & when called on that blamed the system for including it. Service perfunctory with incorrect order taken. Not a place for a quiet lunch if there’s a children’s party occurring.

Very tasty burger! So far the best burger I’ve tried at London. As someone who is a chili lover, I found most of the “spicy” dishes in London are not so spicy. However the chili burger from this restaurant surprised me. They taste juicy and spicy on point. The medium cooked meat is just the level I want too. The accompanied fries also taste great with special aroma. Would go back and try this chain from other locations too. We came at around 11:30, many people were keeping coming in. By the time of 12:00, the queue was already forming. Arriving there early can avoid the queue.

Popped in here before heading to the Apollo. What amazing burgers!! I had the September special Siracha smash burger whilst my partner and daughter had the smash burgers. I also had a side of the BBQ tenders which were a decent size and tasted great 👍 The rosemary fries were enjoyed by all as they come as standard with all the meals 👌

Very good food, can taste that its fresh. Food was hot and arrived quick. Service was great as well. Tabels are pretty close together but other then that was a great place to eat!

First time for us at any Honest Burgers but can’t recommend the food in the Hammersmith restaurant highly enough. I had the Buffalo Wings and Tribute burger both absolutely delicious and far superior to the standard burger joint in London 👍

For your safety, please do not go to Honest Burgers Hammersmith if you have an allergy. All the servers said there were no nuts in the pesto burger my friend had when she asked many servers multiple times. She then suffered a severe allergic reaction to the pine nuts in the pesto, putting her health and potentially her life at risk. After she left to go to the hospital, my friend approached a server to confront her, and she was both dismissive and patronising to protect her own self, even blaming my friend herself for ordering pesto (although she was assured there were no nuts). Awful service and appallingly disrespectful servers. We will not be returning, again please stay away from this restaurant for your own safety if you have allergies as you can't trust the servers here to report the contents of their own food accurately. I am stunned that such foul service and waitressing could be permitted at an establishment so well-respected in the industry, especially after the recent passing of Hannah Jacobs. The waitresses should be ashamed of themselves for being so negligent. Refusal to give complete and accurate information about allergenic ingredients used in any food is unlawful and grossly negligent. Pine nuts are classed as nuts, not seeds by the NHS and medical workers were astonished at the negligence of workers at this branch.

Came in on a busy Thursday lunch, I have been to a lot of honest burgers but this one in particular left its mark, the burgers we ordered were all cooked to perfection, I ordered a medium rare and it was so juicy and flavourful, my friend ordered the buffalo not sure how you guys make but it’s something special, my other friend ordered the new smashed Sriracha and it was amazing, not forgetting the chips the rosemary salted chips are divine whoever thought of that was a Touch of genius! Thank you will see us again

My fiancée and I came before going to the theatre and were on a time restraint. The restaurant was busy but we love honest and so I wanted to eat here. I’m never let down by the service and food here. We were looked after promptly and shown to a table. We were also seen to quickly for our orders as well which is surprising considering how busy it was. The food was 10/10 as always. I don’t often leave a review but it’s so nice to come to a place that’s a franchise and it still feel like the staff care about their jobs, look happy, want to make everyone’s experience good and still deliver on good food and service that’s affordable in London.

My husband and I visited here before an evening show at the Eventim Apollo. Usually we are really impressed with the food and service at Honest, however our experience at the Hammersmith branch sadly fell short of what we would normally expect. We weren’t offered tap water on arrival, food was served at a lukewarm temperature, the rosemary chips and bacon gravy were not fresh and no member of waiting staff checked on us throughout the meal either to rectify the issue. Perhaps it was an off day but on this occasion we wouldn’t recommend.

Do not ever order delivery from this branch. I ordered at 9pm and they did not send the food out until 10.55pm, 5 minutes before closing time. As a result I waited over 2 hours for my food. You're better off ordering from the Chiswick branch if you want delivery.
