Had a wonderful time! The food is amazing especially the pineapple rice (my new fave), the vibe is great, the staff is friendly and welcoming! Will definitely come back to try other menu.

Very busy when we arrived, didn't expect great service from the bar as they were overwhelmed. Although servicing both walk ins and the restaurant etc the service was excellent, particularly from some guy called Richard. Very polite and seemed very interested in your day.

recently dined at chets in London, and it was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, Rachele was incredibly welcoming and attentive, until we was seated. We was then looked after by a young man called Myron making sure we felt welcomed throughout our meal. The menu features a delightful array of Thai dishes, and everything we tried was bursting with flavor. The highlight for me was the ribeye steak, which was filled with delicious ingredients. Overall, chets offers a fantastic dining experience with great food and a lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of Thai cuisine in London!

My wife and I stayed for about a week at the Hoxton, and we ate at Chet’s several times. The food was great, and the staff were all wonderful. Special thanks to Dinny, who made a point to remember our names and made us feel welcome. If we are back in London, I’m sure we will visit again!

Celebrated my best friend's birthday here and I must say while it's a little bit expensive, it is worth it. The staff are super helpful and welcoming and the atmosphere feels quite elegant. Thank you to our graceful waiter Jason! Hope to run into you again some point.

I have been hesitant to try this place due to shakey reviews. But the opportunity came along and my only regret was not coming here sooner! Situated at the back of the ground floor of the Hoxton, it's a calm, chilled hotel with efficient staff who aren't in your face, but still serve you efficiently. The menu reads really well, everything sounds amazing, we were there on a weekend morning so of course it was brunch heavy. We tried their Chicken and waffles, burger and hash browns. The chicken was good, the sauce was excellent, a thicker tom yum chutney and roti pressed in to a waffle maker. Absolutely delicious, loved the sauce and the fried basil garnish. The burger I had heard was really good and they absolutely weren't wrong. It's a combo of beef and pork so cooked well done, but it was gorgeous! There was a great chilli, coriander and onion garnish inside. The hash browns felt like the usual frozen ones with cheese grated on top, slightly underwhelming for £4. Everything else was so so good, absolutely loved the Thai twists even though I wasn't sure how they would present themselves, they all worked out perfectly. Food comes out quickly and I loved the vibe of the restaurant. There's even a terrace for warmer days! Overall, I was thoroughly impressed and definitely want to come back and try everything!

Visited chet’s this evening, Was a bit crowded but lucky enough to find a table without reservation. I loved the food, we ordered the pineapple rice, prawns skewers and fries seeing we aren’t hungry! I recommend the rice it’s so good The prawns however were below my expectations:(

The BBQ rib (33 £) was bland, Chet might want to rethink his approach to this dish, it really was quite sucky, the long lispy green onions served with it were intense and kind of fun, the curry sauce served with the roti was surprisingly mediocre (can’t be this hard to serve the proper condiment with a dish), the aubergine appetizer, smothered in coriander for some reason, was instantly forgettable, the dirty martini was a fail (the vermouth, brine and gin did not balance out properly, even after I asked them to fix it—the bartender at the Hoxton in Amsterdam, he did me right) the margarita was a miss, too, lacking in that zesty sweetness one expects in this… classic. Service was perfect.

Great ideas but odd/small portions with London prices. One more place that is offering some unique plates like the pineapple rice but the other ones we tried were not as good. The atmosphere was alright although quite noisy. The service was excellent. I still wouldn't recommend it.

Very good tasty food. Slightly confusing menu, I would suggest having a clearer guidance on what is sharing and what is a side. Slightly on the pricey side. But delicious.

Had an amazing time on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered the Pineapple fried rice, fried blooming onion and Chicken Roti Waffle. Was pleasantly surprised that kids eat free for weekend brunch, and the kitchen even specially made us an extra large portion of egg-free fried rice due to our kid's allergies. All the food was superb and portions huge. Great drinks, comfortable booths and lovely service as well. This is likely going to be one of our regular weekend spots

Went for some food and drink with friends a few days ago and had a great time. Loved the food the pineapple rice in particular and drinks were delicious. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly the bartender Oulid was especially helpful and accommodating with making drink recommendations as me and my friends weren’t sure on what to choose. Went to chets on Saturday with my family. It was a lovely place! A personal favorite dish of my families was the banana French toast! the staff were very friendly. Denny was a great laugh and kept the whole table entertained. Farra and Jason were very helpful in persuading us on the best dishes hahaha. Prawn toast, pork belly and chicken thighs tasted OK and the portion sizes were too small. Food was not worth it.

It was a Monday night & really busy! The service could have been better . Food is very different, American portions & Thai food with a difference! I recommend the chicken mince salad, the prawn toast & the aubergine! Excellent! The coffee after was unfortunately, unpalatable but I was not charged for it which was kind of the management! For the future , I do hope it is improved. I felt it was over roasted .

Had an amazing experience I absolutely loved the sticky wings which were both sweet and crispy. Emils ended up making me some amazing classics.

Could be amazing, great venue and menu but unfortunately the service was really bad. We felt practically invisible for our whole meal and had to repeatedly go and find people to order, pay the bill, etc.

Love coming to Chet’s whenever I am in Sheppards Bush. I love the avocado toast and the smash burger, but watch out, it’s spicy!! Best part is the friendly and attentive staff. Big up to Liviv behind the bar!! Great service.

Five stars aren't enough for Chets and especially for our waitress Aisha! My partner and I celebrated our 5th anniversary at Chet's in Shepherd's Bush last Friday, and it was absolutely perfect, largely thanks to Aisha's incredible service. From the moment we arrived, she was friendly and genuinely enthusiastic about making our special occasion memorable. She was attentive without being intrusive, offering helpful recommendations (the food was divine, by the way!), and her personality just added so much to the whole atmosphere. She went above and beyond, even helping us choose the perfect bottle of wine to complement our meal. Aisha made us feel so incredibly welcome and special, turning a lovely dinner into an unforgettable anniversary celebration. We'll definitely be back to Chets, and we'll be specifically asking for Aisha! Thank you so much, Aisha, for making our anniversary so perfect. You're a true gem!

Very lovely and helpful waiters, special thanks to Charina, Deni, Nafeesa and Aisha as well, they surprised my girlfriend with a delicious birthday treat for our evening dinner. 10/10 recommend :)

Chet’s is an American-Thai street food popup that found a permanent home in a West London hotel foyer. Ornate decor makes up for this airport-bar feel and it is quite cosy and comfortable. The website advertises an extensive and appetising weekend brunch menu but we were offered a much-reduced breakfast menu (despite it being Saturday), with more conventional American-style breakfast dishes. You can cobble together what you want with add-ons (but be aware that will ramp up the cost of your dish). We enjoyed our meal here, it was quiet when we arrived at 11 and filled up after 12 with lots of people choosing the blow-out American pancake stack and French toast. My Chet’s Bodega sandwich (£14) was a New York-Bangkok mash-up of Kaiser roll, fluffy eggs, cheese, sai uah sausage and umami ketchup. The sausage (a Thai-spiced burger patty) and ketchup made this wrap special, with chilli, lime leaf and lemongrass flavours coming through. A great combination of flavours and textures. Thai-enhanced avocado on sourdough had nam-jam sauce and fresh herbs and was substantial for £11 (add £2.50 for a poached egg). The service could have been better, even when the place was empty everyone seemed to be rushing around and we had to wave to attract attention. The drinks menu of juices, smoothies, cocktails etc is extensive but nothing caught my fancy at 11am so I stuck with water. 
I found the Thai-American theme fun and quirky, and the lunch-thru-dinner menu has plenty of interesting to tempt me back.

Went for lunch. The rice bowl deal with spring rolls and a drink is very reasonably priced, but I found the food pretty ordinary, considering the reputation. Maybe dinner is better.

I had dinner here with my family, and the overall experience was quite good. The food was delicious, though not entirely authentic—perhaps because it’s a fusion of Thai and American cuisine. Some portions were smaller than expected. It wasn’t too busy, but we often had to wait a while before a waiter noticed us raising our hands. However, the staff was friendly. Overall, it was a nice experience, and the prices were reasonable.

The atmosphere and buzz were great and promising when we first walked in. However very quickly became disappointing- the server we had was lovely and couldn’t fault her however from there on in not great. Ordered a bottle of wine -‘apologies we don’t have any left!’ Ordered an alternative ‘sorry we’ve run out of that too!’ Ordered starters to share - one of them was the minced chicken in lettuce leaves (2 chilli warning) it was so spicy it was inedible - watched as others returned their same starters - apologies were made and replacement sent which went the other way and was bland and tasteless - disappointing start. Mains were ok but very underwhelming. The atmosphere and buzz were great but let down by the shouty chef and the poor food he was offering. Staff were lovely and apologetic - obviously this wasn't the first time they’d encountered these issues, no complaints about staff but food wasn’t great and I won’t be going back!

The atmosphere and the decoration of the lobby, bar and dining room are superb. But food is such a disappointment. We have been there for lunch - the only possibility was sandwiches with crisps - no salad or other healthy options. How can such a beautiful place offer such a poor menu lunch. And when we got our sandwich it was way too spicy. This place has a great potential but the food offering needs to dramatically changed!

We tried to find a restaurant that was open on December 25, and luckily Chet's was one of the restaurants that opened, so we booked it right away. We ordered Lunch Time Combo, it was delicious and good price. The service was great, the staffs were friendly and helpful. The toilet were nice and big.

Always a great time at Chet’s, the Hoxton. Made special by the bartenders; Liviu, Emils & Jormah. We love sitting at the bar, having a drink and a chat. Excellent friendly service and fantastic cocktails :)) One of our favorite bars in London, definitely recommend for anyone passing by.

My girlfriend and I dined in for her birthday and had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. I have an egg intolerance and our waiter Vikram was well-versed in the menu and his knowledge of what dishes would be suitable for me was extensive. The roti and prawn satay were great, and my girlfriend’s fried chicken khao soi main was brilliant for her too. The only downside we had was that we weren’t told that the bun in the burger meal I ordered contained egg, and we weren’t alerted to this, but Vikram sorted us out with some roti to make up for it - very kind of him. To top it off, they gave my girlfriend a lovely dessert with a candle and wished her a happy birthday, and we agreed it was a great evening.

Our experience at Chet's was excellent. The food was very flavoursome in way that was striking yet balanced, and our server - Kernius- was attentive and personable!

Definitely worth a visit!!! Delicious Thai with an American twist. The sticky wings and Prawn toast are so good. The BBQ short rib is a must, so tender, rich and melt in your mouth, with the pickled salad and roti it was delicious!!! The Fried chicken khao soi noodle bowl was good. The mango sticky rice was not my cup of tea and i wasnt a fan. Need to cone back to sample more of the menu. Would have liked to sit in the heart of the restuarant, disappointed that we mentioned it was our anniversary on the booking and we got seats right at the back in a corner, however this was a small thing. Cocktails were amazing, the Lychee Martini was the best I've had! Will return!

Great food and decour but terrible service especially when paying discretionary 12% charge, I would even go further saying joke of the service - bar staff. Why would I pay 12% extra tip before being served. Please change.

What a stunning restaurant/ bar, service is on top too ! The Thai and American style worked really well and authentic on both side. The prawn toast and pork belly is a must! I’m also obsessed with the snow coconut granita which reminded me back home!

I have eaten at Chets many times. I love the Pineapple rice, bowls. Sad to hear that the Chicken and Waffles is off the menu. I wanted a quick lunch in between meetings . Danny was amazing, he gives the best service and made sure that my food was served on time.

Last night, my boyfriend and I had drinks with my friends, and it was such a great time. Katrin and Qualid were incredibly helpful in guiding me to try different cocktails, which made the experience even more fun. I ended up trying the Guava Bloom, and I absolutely loved it—it was the perfect choice!

Excellent food and relax atmosphere, a hidden gem in Shepherd’s bush. Staff is Friendly, our waitress Nafeesa was superb explaining the menu and recommending the chef’s signatures dishes. We ordered a variety of food, and my favourite Whole Bream - perfectly cooked and full of flavour! Emils was incredibly helpful during our planning process- he recommended drinks based on the flavors we told him we liked and threw in a few suggestions to try that we ended up loving! We had 5 signature drinks at our dinner in addition to the bar and our guests absolutely RAVED about the drinks.

We were kicked out of our seat and could not get food because kitchen was closed. But they do have orange wine. Not sure what this is. Yet.

Went for dinner with my friends who I hadn’t seen in forever and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so lovely. We were seating by the lovely Katrin and were served by Nafeesa and Kernius who both recommended so many fab dishes and of course cocktails. Would definitely recommend for any occasion! The food was spectacular. A bit expensive but only because the portions were huge. It took too long for someone to take our order and too long to pay. It suggests a lack of attentiveness. The staff were friendly and efficient.

The staff was very attentive and we’ve really enjoyed our drinks, lychee martini can be recommended! Unfortunately the food was mediocre, the fish in the curry didn’t taste fresh, the shrimp bao was too burned causing it to be dry instead of succulent. The roti was nice and flaky but the small pot of curry that came with it tasted like a cornstarch slurry. Good concept but it needs some polishing.

Oh wow do not believe the hype - the food we had was awful no flavour, and bland. The fish and chicken dishes are exactly the same?! The papaya salad tasted like soap. Really surprised. We sent back 2 dishes and they refused to take one of them off the bill AND then pretended they had. Paid over £200 for a meal no one liked…

Best food ever! The waiter Myron is so nice! He was very attentive in describing each dish and letting me taste the curry ahead of time when I was worried about the spiciness of the curry. Everything is so good!

Chet’s is much better value than you’d expect going into a smart hotel like the Hoxton. It’s buzzy and the staff are great - we had the set lunch which was £15 for a starter of tasty spring rolls and then a generous poke-style bowl of rice and chicken as well as a drink. Everything was delicious, plenty of fresh herbs in the rice bowl. The rest of the menu looks interesting and well priced - we will be back.
