Jasmine in Hammersmith and Fulham

We have eaten here before, and we really liked the food. However, the last couple of times we have come in, we have been informed that they only take cash. This seems to be a permanent fixture so can’t be bothered will not be returning which is a shame, restaurant is as cold as ever! We left disappointed and went across the road to the Italian restaurant, which was really excellent and paid by debit card.

We like real Thai food. The previous reviews for Jasmine were accurate and we enjoyed the quiet ambience of the restaurant and the freshly cooked ingredients along with the good service.

I have been going past this restaurant numerous times. It's exterior catching my attention. The decor of the restaurant is given an authentic feel like. The food is amazing. we ordered beef masaman curry with special fried rice with prawns. Also, for starter, we sesame prawn toast, chilli fish tilapia, and the food feels like home cooking style and flavourful. The owners are so warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend visiting

Best Thai around Shepherd's Bush! The food is amazing, generous and good for value! The service is super nice however it doesn't have 5-star on service because they do not accept card payment and you need to bring cash.

This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had. We had green curry (which was my personal favourite ) and fried rice with vegetables and prawns. The Thai milk tea was also really nice, not too sweet. The staff was also amazing and very friendly (very comfortable to chat with). I will highly recommend if you’re ever in London. Will be going back again.

Great place for food, went there for a father day meal not a large place but homley. I think this is a family run restaurant.

Fabulous restaurant - the food was fresh and delicious and the prices are fantastic for London. There is only one waitress to serve all the tables and drinks so we had a bit of a wait for our main course. I had the crispy prawn to start and it was great - light, crisp on the outside with plump perfectly cooked king prawns inside - 4 of them and a sweet chilli sauce with a kick to it. Then stir fried beef and sticky rice - delicious, tender beef with crunchy green beans, peppers and onion and perfectly cooked rice. My partner had veg spring rolls and veg red Thai curry with egg fried rice and he cleared the lot. It was £30 a head for 2 drinks, a starter and a main each - bloody marvellous for London! I like the decor in the restaurant too. Please note that they only take cash, so you’ll need to have some on you or go to a nearby cash machine.

Delicious food at great prices. And they're cash only, which is great to see. Card payments enrich the banks and encourage digital surveillance. The only thing to improve on is the service here, which could be a little more attentive.

Best Thai’s food in London , i have been here since 2016 . Highly recommended.

We dined last night at this restaurant and if you don’t like waiting for your food to come one hour after ordering and having to nudge the staff about it, then avoid it. We each ordered a starter - it was four of us - and these came out at different times; two starters came out first and 10 minutes later the other ones - so half of the table started eating before the other half. We ordered at 19:15 and the main dishes came out at 20:30. Clearly they’re understaff which they didn’t flag upon arrival. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant was not even full. They didn’t even apologise for the delay of the food - clearly unprofessional. When we had to pay, they were very speedy and took the money promptly - what a surprise. That being said, avoid it!!!! Recommendation to the restaurant: if you’re understaff meaning there’ll be a delay in food being served, tell your clients and let them decide whether they want to stay or not.

Authentic Thai food at a very reasonable cost. The place is a hidden gem and honestly very close the best Thai I have ever had (including having visited Thailand). A solid 10/10. So nice. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was nice and good value, but the whole experience was a bit of a farce. There was one poor man working the whole restaurant by himself. He had to greet people at the door and seat them, take orders, make and bring the drinks, clear plates, and take payments. He also had to deal with the takeaway orders. Some people left a while after being seated because they had not been seen to. It was also freezing cold in there, and people were complaining and keeping their coats, hats and scarves on.

Great Thai restaurant with amazing tasting food. Highly recommend :) Very calm place which was perfect after we spent some hours in the hustle and bustle of Westfield. It's about 5 minute walk away from Shepherds Bush station, just across the green. We ordered the CHUCHI PLA (Crispy salmon flavoured with red curry in coconut milk) and ROASTED DUCK CURRY both with portions of egg fried rice and Jasmine tea. Both mains were amazing, so much so that I'm now trying to learn how to make the Chuchi Pla myself. Price is good, especially considering vicinity to Westfield. Cash only but there is a cash machine < 1 min way outside Tesco.

Amazing authentic thailand which definitely deserve people’s attention. Masaman curry is definitely one of the best curry I have ever tried in the uk. And its the first time I truly feel ‘thai’ food instead of white thai food. Beef is tender, the curry is perfectly mixed. Very good to go with rice. The coconut rice is with generous portion and with a very pleasant coconut smell. Chilli fish is fried and mix with a very good sweet and sour sauce. Which I really recommend. The chicken on fire is average, little bit salty but it is mixed a special sauce which is quite nice to go with. One bad thing is the ice thai milk tea which the flavour is not strong because of the ice But as you can see, their price is really reasonable, all around £10 which is rare in london. I highly recommend this restaurant

...because this place used to be great and I'm worried it's going downhill. We often visited this place and got takeaways regularly and it was one of our favourite restaurants. But we went recently having not been back for a while and it really was not a good visit. It was a Friday night, we were the second couple in there. First change was that they no longer have a wine menu, the choice is red or white (though we were quite relieved it hadn't gone dry!). Later a table came in and were allowed to bring their own bottle- I wish this had been advertised as we would definitely have done that! The food menu was much reduced from what it used to be- some of the main dishes we used to enjoy are no longer on there. My sister ordered a salmon dish for main- the staff member had to come and explain that she only had enough salmon for one portion and the table next to us had ordered that too- so both parties had to settle with half salmon, half some other fish. Low stock levels on a small menu is a concern. And note these were the two tables who were the first ones in that night. As the restaurant started to fill up the service became slower and slower. We sat with our finished starters for a long time. When the mains came my sister's fish dish was a very small amount- and we think maybe one small piece of salmon! As we were being served I pointed out that I had also ordered some sticky rice- she said it was just coming but I didn't see her go and check- I never got my sticky rice :( So my sister of the small main portion then had to share her rice with me. I tried to get the server's attention but by that point the restaurant was full and it was impossible to even catch her eye. The table next to us had to physically get up and try and catch the person to get their bill and we also had to wait a long time to try and get ours. There were two takeaways while we were there- they also seemed to have to wait ages for their food. I did point out I didn't get my sticky rice so she removed that from the bill, but no concession for the change in fish dish. It's such a shame as it's best this place is great but they just need some help. They did not have the capacity for a full restaurant and takeaways. Despite clearly struggling they kept seating people. The food is really good but your experience is ruined by the service and constantly having to chase someone for something missing. It's also cash only- but they do warn you of this.

This is very delicious, similar to Thai style (100% Thai taste), with a good service good price and good quantity. I'll return here ASAP.

Lovely Thai restaurant near Goldhawk Road Station. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious! Their regular menu dinner prices are highly affordable (under £15 a dish), but their lunch specials are even better, only £9 each! The lunch specials also come with rice and were a perfect portion size!

The food is too salty and spicy, please make the staff aware if you are too sensitive.

Long time visitors to Jasmine Thai perhaps 15 years in all, moved away from the area now so a rare treat. Had the Jasmine Platter mixed starter which was really good and nice to have the variety without the quantity. The Chu Chi Pla (Red thai Salmon) has to be tasted to be believed and my wife had green chicken curry. All good, just sublime original traditional thai cooking. A couple sneaky take aways returned with us to the midlands. Will definitely be back when we're next in London. Nothing local to us half as good. It's clearly not easy to do it right, but they do it right here.

Pad Thai noodles is always my no.1 preferred dish and this restaurant does it well. The Beef Masaman was delicious and the Garlic & Chilli prawn was very tasty. Its a family run business therefore they want the customers to have a good experience and I did. Seating area & Toilets were clean. I’ll definitely go again.

The server threw the hot plate in front of us and ran away. Extremely rude service and NOT recommend at all! The server apparently is the daughter of the owner, referred by the owner herself“young and new” who ruined our first day of new year with totally disgusting attitude. After 30 minutes of long waiting, we kindly asked if our food is coming, the server was like “we only have one chef working today” But they prioritized the take out order whoever came after us. After twice throwing the hot plates in front of us, we attempted to talked to the owner and asked for apology, the server ran away again. WOW, does it deserve 4.5/5.0 rating? I have been to lots of Thai restaurants, this restaurant is full of fake reviews in google map! PLEASE BE AWARE! For both local and travelers: DO NOT COME!!!

Don’t be fooled by the score and good reviews… Came here on the New Year’s Day and had the WORST EVER experience in my life. After 30min of starving I tried to ask (as a take out order placed after us came before us) the server about it. When the food finally came (which looks mediocre) on the sever just THREW the plate in front of me. She still refuse to apologize after I confronted her. PLEASE DONT EAT HERE!

The server is unreasonably rude for no apparent reason. We stood for 10 minutes to get seated and order even though there was only one group in the entire restaurant, and we then proceed to wait another 30 minute to only get our first starter! Meanwhile the group that came after us got their takeout already. We asked the server for our food and she got so angry that we asked and she smashed the hot plate in front our face and ignored us. It is very reasonable for us to ask for our food when we’ve waited for over 30 minutes and her attitude is just shocking. She was apparently not in a stable mental state, if you hate your job that much then don’t do it :)

This restaurant is not expensive. They make thaï food. It's very good.

Went here based on the excellent reviews. First thing that hits you is the terrible smell of urine and damp followed up by cheap airfreshener. Large group in that staff could not cater for. Watched them bring out all their courses in dribs and drabs. Our food arrived and was pleasantly surprised at quality of the soup, although the spring rolls were comparable to Iceland. Needs a major refurb. Heating turned off in November and single glazed windows. Toilets and staircase to them are dreadful.

Was looking for a Thai restaurant in the area to meet with a friend and glad I chose Jasmine. The service was quick, food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The satay chicken starter and chuchi pla main were both delicious! It's a cash only restaurant, so make sure you walk with cash beforehand.

If you love Thai & are passionate about supporting small family businesses then you must try Jasmine. We've been eating there for over 6 years; they have amended their menu due to the pandemic, however the food & service is still just as good. A small family restaurant that's well worth visiting after your shopping spree at Westfield.

We fancied a Thai after a long walk around the city, so found this one in shepherd bush which was a short walk from our hotel/. We ate around 6pm so it was relatively quiet. The service was good, the waiter kept telling us to call him if we need anything. The food was fresh and excellent. It was great value and the portions were a good size. We ordered starters of prawn crackers and ribs to share, but this left us with little room for the mains. But we managed in the end, forfitting the rice to make room for the tasty dishes. We would definetly go there again when visiting London- even if we aren't staying locally, as there were other dishes we wanted to try. Thanks to the friendly and efficient staff for an excellent experience

So many Thai restaurants in the area, but this is by far the best in their service and level of food they served. Great price and hospitality. Just found out their lunch menu (cash only). I ordered a Tom yum soup noodles that is not on the menu. So delicious!

What an amazing experience. My boyfriend and I went for the first time for dinner Wednesday 15 (my first time in London), the food is absolutely perfect. Probably, one of the best food Thai i’ve ever eat (even in mi city, Madrid). The restaurant it’s also very comfortable and the mother and her daughter are amazing persons. 100% recommendable.

We went to Jasmine Thai Restaurant before going to a gig at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire. As we were eating early it was relatively quiet and service was friendly. We shared chicken satay to start and for mains had the vegetable & cashew nut and a tamarind fish. We really enjoyed both dishes but the tamarind fish was exceptionally good! We both had a portion of steamed rice and a Singha beer and the bill was approximately £42 including a tip. We would happily return!

Needing to eat before attending a gig at Shepherd's Bush Apollo, we happened upon this little gem just around the corner. The food was excellent and very tasty. Service was friendly but a little slow, but that was probably because it was freshly cooked. Extremely good value, most main dishes are around the £10 mark. Will definitely re-visit.

This review is for the delivery option on JustEat. Have ordered twice in the last two months from Jasmine Thai , W12, and am very impressed. Lots of vegetables. Sauces well balanced. Fresh produce. The Sateh sauces is excellent- having grown up in Holland and tasted Indonesian sateh regularly, Jasmine Thai gets very close to the original and freshly peanutty. Overall the best Thai food I have tasted in London.

Probably the best Thai food we’ve had in London. The starters tasted fresh, gave us the homemade feelings, we got to try a bit of everything in the platter. The main dishes were delicious (yet not overpowering with sweetness of sugar like other places) and good portion sized, we had Tom Yum soup, green curry veg, and beef masaman and coconut rice. Banana fritters were decent, too. Staff was friendly and service was fast. Definitely will come back to try other dishes. Highly recommend!

Incredible food! I remember we ordered a few times with my flatmate but this time I swapped PadThai for red curry (Chicken Panang) with Egg Fried Ruce and let me tell you... It was delicious! Big portion, great balance flavours (spicy just enough) and very rich.

Fantastic Thai restaurant in Shepherds Bush. The Beef Massaman is superb. Also worth mentioning that the family who run the restaurant are super friendly. A must visit if you're in W12!

Authentic, aromatic and delicious Thai food. Family-run. Easily one of my favourite Asian restaurants on the whole in all of London for over 3 years running now as their stir-frys constantly draw me back in twice a month! I can highly recommend the Pad Kee Mow if you prefer a bit of heat and spice, otherwise the Pad See Ew is without a doubt equally as good if you're in the mood for something a little bit more mild and even slightly sweet. You can't go wrong with either of these options and I've recommended these to everyone else trying Jasmine for the first time. The Chilli Beef is fantastic too, very well seasoned and often forms part of my second item on my order when sharing with my friends.

My favourite: spicy beef pad Thai. Family run for over 20 years, great hospitality and great food. Definitely a highlight restaurant in the Shepard’s Bush area.

It was a nice atmosphere with authentic decor, however there was no music. I had the tofu peanut satay to start which was delicious, but then our mains took over an hour to arrive and I was so hungry and annoyed when it arrived so I didn't bother to take a photo. The best thing about the restaurant was the food that was set in flames as it was brought to tables, its a shame we didnt order that but saw on other tables and it looked cool!

It's Thai food. Not vietnamese. It's ok. Passable. Doesn't really excel much. Glad that their salt use isn't very high in the dishes. Overall I'm sure there's much better out there.

Awesome friendly family run establishment, London needs more places like this. Takeout orders great deal and if you come and collect yourself there is a 15% discount. Urge everyone to go to Jasmine directly... Jasmine we support you, rather than those horrid scalpers on scooters dressed in turquoise

We were very impressed with the presentation and quality of the food served in this restaurant, Tom Yum Kung soup excellent. Chicken on Fire Is an experience. Friendly service and good value. We have returned there and it was just as good.
