Excellent experience upon reopening. Wonderful friendly service as always. Great menu with their specials also to choose from. Delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. We shall return soon.

We dined at Sotirios on the eve of “Lockdown “. The food and service was excellent as always with good menu choices. Hope to visit again in December.

We dined on Friday night and decided to choose the meze. This place is fab, the food was fantastic and so much of it ! It was very busy yet the staff were so attentive and so friendly. The owner (I think it was him ) came and chatted a couple of times and was clearly keeping a great eye on things. I couldn’t praise this place enough!

We went for dinner here without a booking and although the restaurant was fairly busy we were quickly accommodated. The food was great but what really stood out was the welcome and the very attentive and friendly service from the waiters and waitress. COVID-19 measures such as ever-present masks and hand-sanitisers can detract from atmosphere and enjoyment, but these were quickly forgotten. The staff made sure we felt looked after and welcome, and had a great evening.

We visited Friday eve and opted for the mezze. The food was freshly home cooked, plentiful and varied. The service was good and the staff very friendly. Would go again and recommend.

Every bit as great as it was back in Pauls Restaurants day, with a little extra attention food was great, service even better, very pleasant evening..

Visited for the first time this weekend and was not disappointed. We have not been out since COVID and we’re slightly apprehensive but the staff made us feel comfortable. Plenty of space , masks worn and hand sanitizer throughout.The menu was varied and something for everyone. I had the chicken liver starter followed by lamb rump. No complaints , the food was cooked to perfection and the portions good . Did not leave feeling hungry and can’t wait to return .

Date night visit booked easily online. Warm greeting by all staff, excellent covid protection measures in place. Absolutely delicious meals, great portions at very reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and engaging without being intrusive. Can’t wait to return as we plan to make regular visits.

This is my first time to eat here after seeing good reviews online so I'm expecting big things and wasn't disappointed. It surpassed my expectations, one of the nicest most welcoming place I've been to. There's 5 of us in a group to celebrate my friend's birthday, we were welcomed at the door by the owner Costa. He made us at feel at ease straight away, we were shown to our table, gave us complimentary Prosecco and cake for my friend's birthday. The staff which includes his 2 children were all equally friendly and polite, we even overstayed our stay but we never felt rushed even if the restaurant is full. The food was served fast, hot and very tasty, good portion too. We will definitely come back, highly recommended, thank you for making us feel like a part of your family.

Greeted by a genuinely friendly team of servers who turned out to be all family and we were served with the most hearty but simple Kleftiko lamb shanks that was so delicious and the meat fell off the bones. The wine and the ouzo were great too. All very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

We have been a few times recently and the result is always the same. Very satisfied. The service is exceptional from this family run restaurant. Special mention to Lucas. The menu is great making it hard to make a decision! The food has never disappointed. Delicious fayre. Cv 19 measures are excellent within the restaurant. We shall return .

I have never been to this restaurant before but heard amazing reviews so thought I would book a table for 5 people (4 adults 1 baby). As soon as we walked in it was such a warm welcome! Also the cleanliness of the restaurant was also impressive due to covid, hand sanitizer and staff using masks. Now when it came to the food, two of the party order two of the creek dishes (can’t remember how to spell them!) my printer had the T-bone steak, I had the beef burger and the staff were so kind in cooking some soft vegetables for my daughter. All the food we had to eat was delicious! My partner was so happy with his steak he sent compliments to the chef!!! I also brought a cake in and the staff were so lovely and sang happy birthday! And we still even had cheeky deserts as the mains were so good had to try the pudding! And it was again delicious. All in all the staff attentive, helpful and so lovely! And the food amazing! Thank you all for making such a lovely evening for us in such a weird times you forget about the pandemic! Will definitely be coming back!!

I came here last year and brought my partner and young daughter here for the second time. Again I was not disappointed.Everything was well clean and sanitised. As always great food, we loved the meze and the fish was cooked to perfection.Service is always so personal, makes you feel very special and what you would expect from a local taverna on holiday. Just brilliant.Very Covid secure, mum and Dad felt very safe. unfortunately this is also part of the puzzle now when choosing where to go but Sotirio’s has that sorted.

Absolutely amazing. Fantastic food. Fantastic hosts. Fantastic place. This place is A1 in every way. The passion to please is almost palpable. So so wonderful. I would say this has becomeOne of my favourite places. Can’t wait to come back. We also stayed in one of the rooms which was also great. Very clean and comfortable.

Booking online was very easy and the welcome on arrival was professional and friendly. Food and service was excellent and well worth the money so will be booking again.

Excellent service, exceptional food.The staff were attentive, efficient and friendly, their job was made easier in that the food they brought out was lovely. everything we ordered was as described on the menu with no surprises.The restaurant had a great feel to it and background noise was low enough that conversation was easy.

We arrived late to our booking and apologised on arrival, the staff were so accommodating and couldn’t have been nicer. All of the waiters and waitresses were friendly and couldn’t have done more for us. The service really was fantastic, it’s so rare these days to find somewhere where staff are so attentive and obviously passionate about what they do. The food itself was absolutely spot on. Perfect portion sizes and cooked to perfection. I was so impressed and can’t recommend Sotirios enough.

My son Harry and I received a lovely warm welcome from Alex and Luca.We were sat on a table overlooking the garden.We had a starter of Brie and a mains of Beef Stifado which were perfectly cooked and a couple of sides.The prices reflect the quality of the food.The staff couldn’t do enough for us and it shows that they really care and love to look after their customers.I’m looking forward to visiting again soon to sample more delicious food and fabulous hospitality. Definitely requires a visit by everyone! Restaurant is excellent with great food and customer service that is rarely found! Luca and his team are excellent in providing the most they can, great combination of being as friendly as possible but keeping it very professional too. Would recommend to anyone living within Kent or visiting Folkestone. Not a single thing I could fault.

Enjoyed a family luncheon for six on Saturday.Albeit the restaurant was full, the service was impeccable as always.Food was first class,the best scallops I have had anywhere also the sea bass with lentils was perfectly cooked. What a relief to eat in a restaurant owned a run by professionals. It shows !

It was supposed to be the first night of our holiday in France, but getting a table at Sotirio’s led to a meal you’d feel lucky to have anywhere! Everyone who works here bubbles with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, the food is fantastic with great options for non meat-eaters. Despite every care being taken over Covid hygiene, this was the most ‘normal’ dining experience I’ve had, with a real buzz of people enjoying themselves. Thanks to everyone concerned.

We chose Sotirio’s for a double celebration (husband’s birthday and our wedding anniversary). We both love Greek food and I’m happy to say we were not disappointed. Everything about the evening was lovely. Fantastic food (best key lime pie I ever tasted) and drink and the service was very special. Friendly helpful staff who went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.For me this is a special occasion restaurant as we couldn’t afford to eat there on a regular basis. I look forward to next time!

This is our first time in Folkestone, and Sotirio’s was the first restaurant we tried.We came her for lunch.Very good food, we sat in the garden at the back, which was delightful.wonderful and helpful staff, I understood it is a family business.Luka was very attentive and kind.We would defiantly put this restaurant on our list of places to come back to.

We booked a table for Saturday night, and it was the best meal we have ever had! From the food selection, to the high food standard, and amazing customer service we will be returning and becoming regulars! Nothing was ever too much trouble, so friendly and chatty and covid-19 measures put in place. Thank you so much for a lovely Saturday evening :)

We arrived at Sotirios last Saturday at 8.30pm for a meal for 4 people. We were met at the door and shown to our very spacious table. With Covid 19 all the staff were wearing face visors and we picked our own cutlery which was brought to our table. From the minute we were seated the service was impeccable and we were treated well. Three of us had starters of scallops, which were delicious and then 3 of us had lamb for our main and one chicken in a cream sauce. The helpings were generous and tasty and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were very professional and personable and I would have no problem in recommending. Our meals with drinks came to approx. £45 a head which is very reasonable. I will look forward to another meal at Sotirios in the not too distant future.

We stopped off here by chance after a day at the beach and trying to avoid traffic , although slightly underdressed in our own opinion there was no judgement, we were welcomed in by the owner Costas, and his high standards were clear throughout the whole place. All Covid measures were applied by staff and customers following the rules (it seemed like a lot of regulars which is no surprise) the Level of service and quality of food were exceptional, we eat out a lot and this experience is definitely up there in the top 5.All of the staff were friendly and attentive but not too much so as to disturb you. They were fantastic with our 4 year old daughter - even some olives on the house for her, all of our meals were such good quality food and perfectly cooked.Please visit this place if you are in the area , I’d be amazed if you are disappointed

A really good experience. Our first meal out IN a restaurant since lockdown. Clean , social distancing of tables, visors on the staff. Good precautions throughout. Now the menus were good, plenty of variety . Delicious food, well presented. We shall return in a couple of weeks with visiting friends.

We came here from London for my birthday dinner and everything was... just Perfect!! This lovely Greek restaurant is a family run business and they really make you feel like at home. The owner, Kostas, was always looking after us without being interruptive,keeping up the good atmosphere. His sons, Lukas and Alex were amazing since the start, providing a friendly service, being very professional at the same time.The food was very tasty and well prepared with generous portions as well . We had a lobster tail, crab avocado and the brie for starters and the chateubriand to share as a main dish. All of them where delicious!! They have quite an extensive and attractive food menu to choose from and a well structured wine list, beers on tap and cocktails, of course. Overall, an amazing experience to remember, would definitely return ! PS: we enjoyed it so much that we had a very nice lunch the following day prior to our departure from Folkestone and we left as happy as the previous night after trying the pork belly they have. :) Hope to see you soon guys ! Had a great night. Was a little apprehensive eating out since lockdown, but knew if anyone would do it well, it would be here. I was not disappointed. The staff were great, as always. Distancing and hygiene fully observed. It was a little odd, being served by people in masks, but then these are strange times! As always the food was delicious, and we were extremely well looked after.

Food and service 1st class as always, been eating at Sotirios for 25 years and never been disappointed. Scallops and the Saganaki to start and the Chateaubriand for mains all cooked to perfection, stayed overnight in one of the 3 rooms they have and was served a lovely full english breakfast before we left. Well done to all the team, faultless as ever.

We came in for our first meal after lockdown and we couldn’t have been treated better whilst respecting social distancing. Costa, aggy, Luca, alex and Paige have treated us like queens and we had the best time ever. Shell’s food was unbeatable as per usual and we can’t wait to come back in a few weeks!! Love all the team❤️❤️❤️

Such a great meal today (Sunday 5th July) Costas and the staff absolutely fantastic. All precautions being observed, still a great place to eat making you feel safe and welcome. We will be visiting back very soon.

We’re fairly regular visitors at Sotirio’s and always love the great food and service. Went for a meal on the first night of their reopening after COVID and can not fault the service and procedures in place. Same phenomenal service and food with excellent measures in place to make you feel safe and welcome.

Nothing was too much trouble. Costas was on hand at all times and his wonderful staff were so charming and cheerful. They made sure our party had a wonderful time. All my group found the food to be delicious and it was packed. If you want Michelin star food then go to a Michelin star restaurant but if you want a friendly restaurant with a lovely atmosphere with delightful staff, good food and a community welcoming venue then you will not be disappointed.I can not understand bad reviews of this restaurant unless people are looking for the Ritz in Folkestone! Thank you for our lovely meal on Saturday night we will be back.

This place gets the full 5 stars from me no doubt about it. I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. On this occasion I had Steak fillet with chips, but they weren't ordinary chips, they were thrice fried... Never had such nice chips, when I make them they're all greasy but these weren't. I obviously need to fry them twice more, ha ha.Some restaurants you go to the steak is the size of a small horse, but this was just right, I dribbled as I was eating it.We also had 2 bottles of wine between the 4 of us, lovely. I finished off with the orange cake and needless to say it was lovely, didn't touch the sides. I don't know how many calories I consumed that night but when I go to 'fat fighters' for my weigh-in this week I have a feeling the scales will be creaking a bit.I went to a Christmas party here and it was amazing, so well done to Costas and staff. As the Terminator would say, I'll be back.Regards Mr T

My boyfriend and I are both mid 20’s and eat out at least once a week and always aim to try different restaurants. This is the first time I’ve made sure I’ve gone out of my way to leave a good review to a restaurant so deserving. My boyfriend had the ‘Coquilles St Jacque’ and I had the fish cake special to start which were both delicious. To follow we had a fillet steak and I went Greek with the lamb Kleftiko. My boyfriend said if he was paying double the price for this steak, he would of still been happy and the lamb Kleftiko simply fell apart as it should do. The service was efficient and friendly but without being intrusive on our romantic evening. I believe it was the owner that offered us a complimentary drink to welcome us as first time diners in the restaurant which was a nice touch. Although slightly higher priced than the average chain restaurant, my boyfriend and I without a doubt agreed it was well worth the extra to have a special evening.

We booked an early dinner as we had to drive back to East Sussex that evening, which was fortuitous - as they have a lunch and early evening set menu - great value at £12.95 for 2 courses. It was everything you want a Greek meal to be - with all the traditional dishes you expect, plus a few that don’t. We started off with hummus and pitta, together with halloumi fries with a child dip (I’m not quite sure that halloumi fries are traditional). Followed by Pastitsio (a Cypriot version of lasagna, which I had not had before) and Moussaka. All very tasty and served efficiently by the friendly staff. I would like to go again, but next time I might try some of the dishes from the a la carte menu, such as Kleftiko, which I haven’t had for years. Vegetarians are well catered for.

We were in Soriros yesteray evening and had the unfortunate experience of sitting near to the couple that left the poor untrue review. Both my husband and myself overheard the conversation between the couple and the owner Costa, the couple were full of praise for both the starters that they had not only ordered but had literally licked their plates. We also heard the couple announce between themselves how generous the portions were so generous in fact that they were now full up, both my husband and myself got the impression that the couple did not want to pay for what they had eaten and clearly enjoyed so they went from praising the food that they had eaten to being rude and in our opinion aggresive to the owner, who did everything he could to give this couple a lovely evening , both my husband and i felt that they were trying their best to get out of paying for what they had eaten the owner did not tell them that their mains were ready what he said was that their mains were already being cooked, We felt extremly sorry for the owner who through out the conversation with two very rude difficult customers did his best and behaved like a true gentleman. In our opinion the food was deliocious, the staff amazing had it not have been for these two rude customers our experience would have been perfect.

The experience itself is was nice,as we have spent time time with our family.We've been out with our godchilden as we were celebrating Mother's Day.We celebrate it on 8th of March.The staff is very welcoming and very attentive.The owner is a very nice person too ,makes you to feel very welcomed.The reason why we chose this restaurant is because I wanted to try greek cuisine.My goddaugheter she lived in Cyprus for 1 year and she told me that the food is far from greek cuisine.Well,this was very dissapointing for me as I was looking forward to try it.I chose to eat Saganaki king prawns(£9.95) as I was very curious to try a greek dish.Again I was disspointed because it wasn't how I expected.I was expecting more feta cheese on the top not only 2 cubes.Not to mention that I had to order double portion as the waitress told me that the portion is very small.She was right,even after I had ordered double portion it looked very small considering I was paying £20 for my meal.My goddaughter had Chicken Kiev which was good,I took a small piece to try it.My husband had half roasted duck with black cherry sauce which it was really good.I would give 5 stars for the duck.I feel sorry I didn't take any pictures to show you my dish.

We’d heard great things about this restaurant so turned up with high expectations. Now I will start with a positive, the decor and staff are lovely, so if you value a friendly environment and staff over food quality or taste ignore my review. However, having said that, to me food has to be good quality to warrant being served in a restaurant (especially in one that charges £8.50 for starters) but this just wasn’t the case. We had calamari that looked and tasted like it had never seen the sea but been battered and deep fried within an inch of its life. Duck nachos were equally as disappointing with cheap pre-bought duck and no flavour (both starters were £8.50). Unfortunately we decided to cut our losses and cancel our main course.

Arrived with high hopes as very highly rated on tripadvisor. What a disappointment. However..... plus points first as a balanced review is always worth giving. #1 on site parking. If you’re local you’ll know what I mean. #2 lovely looking restaurant with good lighting and ambience. #3 Welcoming and friendly staff. That, unfortunately is it. Personally those 3 points are a bonus. When I eat out (I’m assuming like most people) I like to eat GOOD food that excels in quality, taste and presentation. You will NOT get any of the last 3 points here. Starters were ordered. £8.50 each for the sorriest example of calamari I’ve have ever witnessed. Deep fried strings of something? Greasy batter surrounding what looked like a tape worm?? So the second starter. Chosen as it sounded different and unusual and done properly could have worked well. Duck nachos.... oh dear. Just don’t bother. And again £8.50. It may have sufficed if the portion was more than a handful but I was now beginning to feel not only hungry, but ripped off and I wondering who was cooking (warming up) this crap. I almost forgot about the complimentary bread. Pretty standard in the majority of restaurants but here you will have to enjoy two sesame burger buns still joined together as they were when bought from Bookers (other wholesale outlets are available). At this point (and I rarely concede) I gave up. I asked for the bill and they had the cheek to try and charge me for the main even though I asked immediately after (attempting) to finish my starter. They informed me that my main was already cooked and waiting. FYI I had ordered the swordfish!! So what on earth was it doing being ready before I’d finished my starter! In summary if you like nice people and nice surroundings go here. You’ll love it! If you like good food and value for money there are many other restaurants to choose in Folkestone.

Visited for a friend's birthday, served by the lovely Lucas! He was extremely friendly and accommodating, and even allowed us to order the 2for1 cocktails. He knew the special surprisingly well, and nothing was too much hassle for him. The staff even brought out a cake for our friends birthday. The food was delicious, we will definitely be returning!

My wife and I ate here last week and had a lovely evening. Excellent food and quality/attentive service at a reasonable price. Highly recommend a visit.

After another visit to Sotiros can only say it gets better, the food really is delicious smoked salmon with crab for starters. Staff are really good too so friendly and then the boss Costa greets you at the door and keeps an eye on you all evening best Greek restaurant I’ve been in for long time .

We went last Saturday just after valentines after a neighbour and friend recommended Sotirios to us.

We've eaten here many times before but not since it has Been taken over by Costa & we were not disappointed the staff are lovely especially Costas son Lucas who is 1 of the waiters the food is excellent & the whole place is very welcoming. We had the set lunchtime menu plenty of choice

Wonderful food, the best service I have had in a restaurant for a very long time, it was seamless through every course, barely interrupting the table conversation.

My friend and I made a welcome return following our meal at Christmas. The restaurant was busy but considering the quality of the food and service, this is not surprising! The service is attentative but friendly and you feel like nothing is too much trouble. My friend wanted her dish altered slightly with a different sauce and this was no problem at all. The food is delicious and the dessert list mouthwatering. We need to return until we've tried it all! We were chatting and hadn't noticed it has passed the closing time but were not hurried in any way. On leaving, we apologised for keeping the staff and the owner said it didn't matter as long as we'd enjoyed our evening and we really felt he meant it! Thoroughly recommend!

If you want to be spoilt, then a trip to Sotirio’s is the place to go. We were here for a birthday party and were surprised that the place was packed at 6.30pm. There’s a reason for this, namely the attentive and observant staff and the quality of food.

We had the carve at the table Sunday roast and it was delicious!! The service is amazing, really friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Excellent value for money too

Nice place and the owner and his two sons work really hard ,great banter with them all food was good including the klefitco and specials resonable prices and the owner told us about his rooms that can be booked above the restaurant. pleasant and welcoming a real gem

What a fantastic restaurant, lovely staff and great food. We came for my partners, mothers birthday. I had already decided to have kleftico, as it was Greek and perfectly cooked scallops to start . We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. To top it off, the lovely waiter had noticed when we came in that we had presents , at the end of the meal they came over with a cake and candle and sang happy birthday. Just finished the occasion off lovely. 10 out of 10 for food and service . Will definitely come again when in Folkestone

Three of us came here lunchtime today to celebrate our friends "0" Birthday.

This is the second time we have been here in two months and it was brilliant the first time. That was no fluke. Second time round, this family have got it right. From the owner, to his two sons and the excellent team they have working for them, you are treated like you are someone special. The welcome, the ambience and the way you are looked after is 5*. Then you sample the food and you realise that you are experiencing something quite unique. Excellent choice and the quality is superb. I thoroughly recommend a visit and suggest that all restaurant owners take a visit and find out just how it should be done.

We went for a works meal in early Jan 2020. The food was fantastic and service excellent- all who work there are friendly and very welcoming. I would recommend Sotirios to anyone. Will definitely return in the near future!

We used Sotirios a lot when the restaurant was in Greatstone (New Romney). It took us a while to find our way to Folkestone and the new location, but wish we had done so sooner!

Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this restaurant. We ate there for the first time last night and it was superb. The food was top notch; the staff are brilliant - friendly and efficient; and there is a warm, welcoming atmosphere which makes you feel completely at home. Well done, Sotirio’s! We are certain you work hard to achieve this and you absolutely deliver first class cuisine and hospitality. We will be back!

This place is just fantastic. The service is friendly and extremely attentive, the food is lovely and, although it doesn't cost the earth to come here, you really do feel like you've had a special night out every single time you come.

We went for a Christmas dinner at Sotirio’s and rather than booking a taxi home; instead pre booked one of their beautiful rooms in advance on AIRBNB.

We had our first visit to the new venue for my birthday celebration last night. We were extremely impressed. The decor was fantastic as was the ambience. The food was, as has always been in previous venues, first class. The staff were friendly and attentive. Couldn’t rate it highly enough.

Went with a group of very fussy eaters and they couldn't have been happier with the food! everything was so tasty and very responsibly priced under £20 per person for a set 3 course meal. The service was also brilliant! all off the staff really looked after us! 100% recommended

I haven't had a Greek meal for years in England as I used to enjoy them so much on visits to Greece I didn't want to be disappointed. My partner booked this as a surprise. We were warmly greeted at the front door. I was a little cynical about how pleasant it was going to be. I ordered hummus with pitta and my partner had pulled Turkey nachos(that old Greek favourite) My hummus was excellent and you could taste the fresh lemons used with the chickpeas and garlic. The nachos were pretty tasty too. My partner had duck I had moussaka. I would never complain in a restaurant that a dish is too hot but i got close that afternoon. Congratulations chef ,I wish more restaurants would follow your example . The moussaka and duck were both excellent and the Greek salad with my main stood out for the feta I wish I knew where they bought it,much nicer that the feta I buy at supermarkets.The vegetables with the duck were also gorgeous. We couldn't eat dessert as we were both full. The service was super and considering we arrived at 3.30 after a busy Friday lunch service all the staff deserve gold stars for stamina.

What can I say? 10 out of 5 is what!! This place totally exceeds all expectations in every department. Costa, Lucas and the rest of the team couldn't do enough to make our visit enjoyable. The food is excellent, as is the drinks menu.

It's the second time of visiting and what can we say, great food fantastic staff and makes a meal out a pleasure. Keep up the good work 100% returning to sample more food.

My wife and I had a fabulous meal at Sotirio’s. After browsing the menu, which had a lot of great looking choices, we plumped for the scallops and then the Lamb Kleftico. Incredible sweets followed, of which the Gin Fizz is to be recommended.

The great atmosphere was generated from the really friendly and professional staff, of which there were plenty to look after a very busy Saturday lunch service. Our group of four without exception enjoyed all of the food but the two stand-outs were the lobster tails starter and the tournedos Sotirio's. Thanks to all involved, we really enjoyed this restaurant.

Attended a group Christmas lunch at Sotirio’s and everything was just excellent. Good menu choices, very good quality dishes and plentiful, excellent service and very attentive. I would certainly come back for lunch. The restaurant is very spacious and great for small or large groups. Highly recommended.

We met with friends at Sotirios for dinner. The restaurant was beautifully laid out with a decent distance between all tables. The owner and waiter ensured every care was given and explanation of specialist dishes provided.

This was an ideal central location to meet up for lunch with some dear friends. We arrived at different times and I was impressed to be greeted with a firm and friendly handshake from the proprietor, who looked after us all well into the afternoon - in fact I think we were the last to leave, having had a lot to catch up on …. Set lunch menu prices were good for a varied selection (pre-ordered as there were 9 of us) and the food quality was excellent - I particularly loved the saute potatoes. A lovely relaxed atmosphere at a lovely venue, with lovely friends and lovely food - what more could you ask.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted by friendly smiling faces which set the tone for a fab evening. Throughout the night we were checked on regularly to make sure that we were happy and to see if we needed anything more.

Called in to book our Christmas dinner this evening and decided to eat. Luca fitted us in and recommended a new prawn starter. Wow. Packed full of flavour. Then had a fillet steak that melted in the mouth.

Well where to start. I will keep it simple. Service super. Young friendly energetic staff. Chicken livers where great as was the prawns however the burgers were poor and over done. Chicken burger cold. Although sotirio did not charge for it.

We visited today as a family and I had the vegetarian nut roast. I have never had such an amazing Nut Roast. As a vegetarian sometimes it can be hard to find a good restaurant that does a good option for Sunday roast. I would highly recommend the Nut roast and we will be back soon!

We were staying in the accommodation above the restaurant so decided to eat here. The restaurant was very clean and staff very welcoming. The menu had a very good choice and was very reasonably priced. The food quality was excellent and would definitely return here if we were in Folkestone again.

I went with my family for a special birthday lunch,there was 6 of us plus a toddler.We had a wonderful time,the food was superb,a high chair was provided which was essential.The staff were very attentive without being intrusive.There was a great selection of starters,main and dessert,the waiting time was minimal.Then at the end i was presented with a complimentary birthday cake.Was very memorable and would highly recommend Sotirio's for lunch and will be definitely going back for an evening meal soon.

WE went on a Thursday evening for Dinner and yet again was really well looked after by an attentive and happy staff. A great mix of ages made for a relaxed and enjoyable Vibe. This coupled with a Food And Drinks menu to suit all tastes make it the go to place now for a special evening

Like previous reviewers, we've visited Sotirios in its various guises but Sunday lunch was only good. Plenty of veg, meat was ok Roast pots were hard. Unfortunately it was noisy, seats too high (still, as it was in Paul's day) and the plates needed to be hotter.

This is 100% my favourite restaurant! 15 of us attended for my Birthday meal and the service and food was out of this world 💖 Nothing was too much trouble! Go visit.. you won't be disappointed! Outstanding! Thank you!!!!

First class Greek menu with a wide variety to choose from. I can recommend kleftico and the Greek salad . Reasonable prices.

Really impressed on my first visit here with friends. The most pleasant eating experience in a long time with the attention and service levels at the top end of any scale. Food was amazing and the service equally so.
