Rosemont Restaurant And Cocktail Bar in Shepway

Had a lovely dinner on a Sunday evening. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. A couple of lovely cocktails to start followed by the hot mixed mezza then a shared lamb souvlaki. All really tasty and portions good. We squeezed in a dessert (apricot compote) which was not quite what we expected, but not sufficiently disappointing to detract from a lovely evening. Not cheap but helpful tips on the menu saved us over-ordering. Nicely decorated and good ambience too. Would recommend.

What can I say,…..my fiancé and I had a wonderful meal here last night. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated inside. The bathrooms immaculate. It was busy, as you’d expect on a Saturday which is always a good sign. The only negative I would say about the ambience is the music was a little loud. We had the hot meze (5 small dishes and bread) to start which was the perfect amount for the two of us, and each dish was very tasty. Our favourites were the halloumi and chorizo. I had the salmon for main, again very tasty, all be it a little pricey at £22 for the portion size, but I could not fault the taste at all, or the cooking of the salmon. My fiancé had the seafood linguine which he said was one of the best he’s had, with plenty of seafood in. Worth the price of £18. We shared the chocolate brownie which was very tasty! Being pregnant I was drinking mocktails and the waiter was very considerate asking if I could have the dry ice when the cocktail was served, unfortunately I couldn’t, so he happily made a fresh one for me. All staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. Total price was £129, including the hot meze starter, two mains, 1 dessert, 4 cocktails, and 4 ciders - very well priced in our opinion for the quality and taste of the food. We have been telling all friends and family how good the restaurant was, and we look forward to visiting again.

Our first visit to the Rosemont in Folkestone and what a wonderful evening! As you walk through the door you’re greeted with smiles and shown to your seat. The interior looked stunning. Very comfortable seats and lovely and clean. We started with cocktails, puffs of smoke escaping from my Greek Goddess 😁. The food was beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The service was perfect. The servers were friendly and professional. And Moe, the bar manager, was a delight. I really cannot fault anything and we will definitely be returning.

Tasty food but overpriced for what is was and portions on the smaller side. Decor was modern but too brightly lit for a relaxing evening meal. Service was good.

We stopped here for a cocktail with a view to dining if we liked the look of the menu. The young man, Freddie, who served us was polite and attentive. He was in his second week there (a student in his gap year) and doing very well. The cocktails were nice, the food was lovely and we thought, reasonably priced for the quality of the restaurant. Would definitely return should we find ourselves in Folkstone again. Thank you for a very enjoyable dinner with such good service.

I can highly recommend the Rosemont Restaurant the service is exquisit you are looked after from the moment you arrive until your departure;beautiful food very friendly staff this is the 3rd time i have been now with my cousin and her husband everytime has been special i would always recommend Rosemont Restaurant ,

Excellent food, atmosphere, service and great service from Khan!! Would highly recommend and we will certainly be revisiting.

We had a lovely anniversary meal at the Rosemont. We had mushrooms and final cigars to stay which were both delicious then salmon and chicken martini for Main. All really nice and service was friendly and quick without being hurried even though the restaurant was really busy. We will return, thank you!

Firstly, I just want to say, I had delicious food but the service was inexcusable! I came in on Sunday and I had a beer, bread and pita and Kunefe! All was delicious the service was good! I had to leave at 5.35 ish for a bus which I did! I paid in cash for my food and drinks which was £23/24 pounds I put £30.00 in the black wallet and I said keep the change. My server Khan was attentive and good. Once I was halfway home I realised I had left £90 cash on the table as I had to get up quickly and leave for the bus. I then called to ask if it was there, the young man on the phone said it wasn’t although I knew I left it on the table as that is where I last had it. I was also interested in potentially working at the venue and I went in there to get a feel for things. I then recalled today around 11.35am and I asked to speak to manager and one man passed me to another who was very rude to me and said “what is this about”? and I was can I speak to the manager please and he said well I need to know why? “You could be asking for a million pound air something” in the most aggressive rude tone of voice!!! to me… that is a sign of pure guilt being that defensive and mentioning money and saying I am asking about money. Yes I was asking about money but discreetly because if the young man who took the money is trying to block me speaking to the manager of course they are going to ask what it is about. Sadly I believe one of the waiters took my cash. I am kindly asking the Manager (not a male waiter) and the owner at this point, to check the cameras at 5.37pm on Sunday. I have been spoken very rudely on the phone the rudest I have ever encountered. My contact number is 07933174685. I was also gaslighted by someone who replied to my instagram message saying you told me you left on the bus no! I know it on the table in the restaurant and I don’t believe the cameras have been checked by a waiter.

Beautiful décor beautiful food and excellent service and a birthday treat for my husband. I had imam something I get in Crete such a treat to have it here. Just wish we lived nearer we'd definitely come back.
