Good for a hearty lunch. Relatively inexpensive, quick and piping hot, great on a wet and cold day. Friendly service also.

Absolutely love this little café. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly and there food is stunning! The salads are so full of colour and taste amazing and I always leave there feeling extremely satisfied and full.Cant wait to try the other dishes they offer in there.

My mum and I visited recently for lunch. She had a full English breakfast which was cooked fresh and good quality bacon and sausages. Her egg was pouched perfectly. I had a delicious pasta dish. It was so fresh and really really tasty. I didn’t eat it all and took the rest home for my little boy to have for his tea and he devoured it! Have told the in-laws about this place and will definitely visit again.

It's an unusual mix of food here, the name 'pasta bar' only covers half of what they do, they also do fantastic traditional breakfast fare. The food is always fresh, freshly cooked and delicious.The coffee is as good as you will find anywhere, but my personal recommendation is their gorgeous ice cream, they are all fantastic but my favourite is their coffee ice cream.

How uplifting to discover a genuine independent Italian cafe that offers the very best quality food. We had lunch in this place yesterday and I give it top rating for food quality, taste and value for money. Partner had spaghetti arrabiata - which was a generous helping of penne pasta with the freshest tasting arrabiata sauce. I opted for one of the daily specials - chicken breast stuffed with spinach and cheese, served with pasta and arrabiata sauce. It was, literally, the finest authentic Italian meal I have had in years. All the flavours were there, the texture of the chicken was soft and tender, and the amount was just right for a lunchtime meal. Genuine Italian ice cream (pistachio; cherry) was the perfect end to a lovely meal. The cafe is small, but it was packed out with local people coming in for lunches and take away food. Fantastic food and experience - will most certainly go there again.

The restaurant is cozy and relaxed, the hosts are very friendly and helpful. Very good food, cooked as you order so nice and hot. Good selection too and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The Sorrento pasta bars selections are exquisite. The specials on the board are a lovely touch. Me, my dad, and several of my friends visit regularly. The food, and friendly staff are consistently good. If you are in the area, go and check it out!

La primera vez para el desayuno, pero no será la última! Gente encantadora corriendo el café y no hacer lo suficiente para garantizar que los clientes están contentos. Tuve Tortilla de champiñones con patatas fritas y ensalada, mi hija tenía 2 rebanadas de pan con mermelada y finalmente mi marido tenía desayuno inglés completo. El huevo en una tostada y el desayuno tenía café o zumo de naranja incluido en el precio. Todas las comidas eran muy bonitas.El café es limpio y ordenado, tiene aseos, periódicos y asientos al aire libre si lo prefiere.Hay que probar una comida algún día.Helado italiano en el cono está también disponible.

Nos regularmente en la zona con nuestra caravana y esta fue nuestra primera visita aquí, y sin duda no será la última. El menú es muy bueno, tanto que tenía problemas para decidir, como había muchos platos tentadores. Mi marido fue para las albóndigas y tuve el spaghetti camarón ninguno de nosotros nos decepcionó.

Fuimos allí para un desayuno de sábado mientras compras en Chertsey.

This review is long overdue. For the last year I have easily visited this little place monthly if not more. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Food is excellent, especially the breakfast! Brilliant value for money.

Popped in for breakfast with family including a 10 year old. Greeted with a very friendly Italian welcome, breakfast was very tasty and great value, lovely coffee! Flexible menu too. Best thing though was the service being so friendly making it a really enjoyable experience.

Sorrento Pasta Bar is a family business and you cannot fault the friendly service and the food. I would recommend the jacket potatoe with tuna mayonnaise.Always make you feel very welcome. Thank you.

Good food as I think they used to own an Italian restaurant. But a little pricey and you pay for extra tea which is a missed opportunity to retain loyal regular customers.

Visit here regularly, super welcoming and friendly service, food always superb with a great selection of choices, authentic Italian food with an atmosphere to match.

Pasó por aquí cuando caminaba con la familia ya que nos quedamos en un hotel cercano para la boda de un familiar. Tuvimos un poco de café y tarta casera que era muy excelentes para probar. El servicio era genial, con el propietario habla un poco de italiano! El menú era extenso, con un montón de opciones para comer y cenar, sin embargo, nos limitamos a los cafés y dulces.

Have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions and it never fails to deliver excellent food. The Penne with meatballs is superb. The pasta here is better than most restaurants and has a real home cooked feel. The service is first class and extremely friendly. I look forward to my next visit. A real hidden gem.

I came here yesterday with my mother and with a young child. We ordered the spaghetti bolognese and penne gerardo, both were cooked beautifully! Food was of high quality and came out in good time. Employees were very friendly and had a good sense of humour, they also understood when my son started to get upset and even said hello to him!Would highly recommend!

This little pasta cafe is a real find. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. They offer a range of pasta all of which are good ( we had three types and saw others on the next table). They also offer great value baked potatoes with salad and also omelettes. They also offer specials each day and a great all day breakfast.

Placed right next door to the renowned Deli, "Carlo's" is Sorrento's. Eat here on a regular basis but never placed a review, which is crazy as I still judge how good a Carbonara is when compared with Sorrento's. Run by a mother & son team who have been in the restaurant trade for years this unpretentious Bistro serves REAL Sicilian food home made on the premises. Everything is fresh from the fantastic English Breakfasts served up from 7am, right through to the wonderful Italian pasta's and other famous dishes.The service is pay at the counter in cash only and you are served your piping hot cooked fresh food within a very reasonable period of time by the lovely Mum. There is always a selection of home made cakes (if you have any room left as the portions are good) and fresh coffee, selections of teas and cold drinks. If they were open in the evenings (they are not but I keep asking) they would put the majority of so called Italian restaurants to shame, the food really is that good. It's very rare I give 5 stars for any Cafe but this deserves 6!!!

We had a great breakfast in this super little restaurant. It' s run by a lovely Italian family, a rare thing apparently. Our only regret, we were not able to have lunch as well because the menu looked delicious. The lovely owner said the original recipes were given to the chef by his "Mama" and that she is still involved with the running of the kitchen, how Italian! A great little place in Chertsey.

Pasta bake was amazing, lovely pasta bar. Will be using it regularly. Thank you Sorrento. Will certainly be trying other dishes.

Very nice but casual place to eat. Particularly good for breakfast, classic pasta and ice creams. The only place in chertsey where you can get real Italian ice cream. Very friendly family who run the place also.

I used to work in halifax chertsey branch and used to go to Sorrento every other day or so and omg you can't say no to their pasta.. The staff are amazing, they ever so helpful and friendly and not to forget they treat you as their own and not just a random customer. The pasta is to die for and just an amazing all round family business x miss you & God bless xCinderella

Scoperto appena trasferiti. Locale piccolo ed accogliente con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Carta non troppo abbondante, misto italiano, inglese. Ottimo per colazioni/brunch. Cibo di buona qualità, prezzi molto onesti. Il plus è la proprietà, molto accogliente e disponibile a calda nel fare due parole con tutti. Parcheggio non facile ma si può usare il vicino parcheggio di sainsbury.

Very nice pasta dishes and breakfasts too. Nice polite friendly staff only problem is parking but can go in sainsburys car park but costs £1

Every meal I have eaten here is authentic Italian, lovingly cooked by the Italian owners. The atmosphere is always warm and friendly with many people becoming 'regulars', of which I am happy to say that I am one.

Well if you like Italian food then this is the place, I had to stay for a week in Chertsey and needed to find a really nice place to have late lunch and what a place I found.There are some Italian cafes but they do not deliver true authentic food like this.Everything was freshly cooked to the truest Italian flavours you can get.The owners are Itialian and are so wonderful and invited me into such a warm home feeling little restaurant.This is has to be visited by anyone or groups even if in the area.Il meglio che 'mamma' possibile effettuare, vero cibo italiano, bello

Such a popular place, people coming and going, obvious to everyone they knew each other very well. The food was real Italian served by real italian people, they are fantastic, could not do enough for you. The ice cream was real italian, bella bella!!! Will be definitely be returning x
