Sorelle in North Dorset

Attended a wedding on this lovely country farm/glamming site. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Congratulations and thank you for making a special weekend perfect.

Our Son & Daughter-In-Law (not forgetting baby Grandaughter) took us to their favourite place to breakfast - Sorelle at Motcombe. What a fantastic venue, even after a wedding party the day before and totally full inside and outside by 11:00 a very convivial ambience! What an introduction to this exceptional place! Then the food arrived, the best sausages I have ever tasted, (64 years a connoisseur), fabulous bacon, sublime organic eggs, vine tomatoes, awesome mushrooms and sour bread toast - all in all an epicurean delight! I met up with a friend at Sorelle last week having been told what wonderful coffee you served and was not disappointed in anyway whatsoever. The coffee cake was delicious too. We had a wonderful experience at venue with their monthly supper club. Venue looks superb with the lively lighting.Food was set meal and included welcome drink and a drink with meal. Food was great as catered for most tastes. You will sit on long table with other guests and will inevitably sit next to someone you don't know, which is the magic of it as you meet and chat to new people while enjoying your superb 3 course meal under the illuminated canopy.

Placed our order and then waited about half an hour, only to find that our order hadn't been passed to the kitchen. Then, when the order was eventually passed to the kitchen, waited about another half an hour for our food to appear. Wouldn't have minded ...but we had ordered a really simple dish...rarebit, aka cheese on toast. Ok, we were offered complimentary coffees, but honestly after an hour of waiting, I think that the food should have been on the house. In a restaurant that was nearly empty...the service was seriously lacking.
