Went today to try for first time.. crispy chicken was just crispy batter with no chicken in it. Did not taste like chicken and now feel sick.. very disappointed !!

The food is always good quality, and the owners are a lovely husband and wife couple who make you feel very welcome.

First time coming here, pretty impressed. I had sweet and sour chicken and chips which was lovely although not many chips for the price. My partner had chicken curry and chicken fried rice, absolutely delicious. My son loves the vegetable spring rolls. 9/10

Friendly service food is Acceptable but be warned check the price as there are Supplying there old meau it say July 2018 as her price have gone up a lot don't get Caught out

Fantastic food at a good price, ordered online and it was ready 10 mins before the estimated time. Would 100% recommend giving this place a try!

Wouldn’t recommend this place unless you want to pay a lot of money for some really poor quality food. The chips weren’t cooked properly the whole way through, my chicken chow main had no chicken in it. The BBQ ribs are flavourless and taste nothing even remotely like BBQ they also had barely any meat on them. Not to mention the waiting room floor boards are highly unsafe. £27 down the drain

I’ve lived all over the country and I can honestly say this is the best Chinese food I have ever had, would highly recommend it to anyone in Blandford or the surrounding areas!

Me "Boss" (not being a local and suggesting a Chinese as it was too much effort to cook) and Blakeytron ordered on the phone on a Monday when his usual Chinese was closed. We then cruised in for a pick up. The chef was busy cooking which was nice to see as, it's all open plan and the lovely lady who is front of house was extremely jovial. We headed back for eatings at Blakeytrons gaff. He said that this here Chinese would now be his regular as he was so impressed with his Lemon chicken. I had sweet and sour chicken balls. The sauce was more sweet than sour. But very satisfactory and I also had Singapore noodles which were scrumptious as I was starving after a hard day of cycling to Cerne Abbas and back. Lilypop (who also cycled to Cerne Abbas) was thrilled with her egg fried rice (she said it's the best she's had from a Chinese, as you could taste the egg) and she loved her Kung po chicken. The fortune cookies have all come true as well.

Easily the best take away in blandford. The food is great, complimented by the home feel of the place. The owners are super friendly. I once went in and they had just sat to eat there evening meal, they left there own food to go cold just to prepare mine (even though I insisted they finish their meal first).

I moved to the area recently and have tried all the Chinese in the area, this one is by far the best. The lady who owns it is so so lovely, always so happy to see me and makes me feel so welcomed. Food freshly prepared in front of you, great quality and amazing flavour. Definitely recommend!

Our usual Chinese takeaway has closed. I used China City for the first time last night and was not disappointed. When I called to order the food the lady was so friendly and helpful. When I collected the order she was equally lovely. We live 15 mins away, when I got home the food was still piping hot and tasted amazing and fresh. The food was not greasy at all. This is our new takeaway for sure. 5 starts, excellent service, gorgeous food. 😍

So cross, they put my vegetable spring rolls in the same bag as my husband's prawn toast. As a lifelong vegetarian, I find this really really disgusting and am unable to eat my spring rolls. This may seem trivial to some, but it is basic food hygiene to keep meat and vegetarian dishes separate. It makes me wonder how much of the rest of my meal has been contaminated by meat during preparation. Also did not find it easy to order - very little detail on their menu so hard to identify dietary or allergen ingredients. First and last time we will be ordering from them.

What a lovely welcome from a lovely couple! All food was prepared fresh! It was a delight! When visiting Blanford Forum again we will most definitely have another Chinese from here! Really recommend the beef chow mein and the egg fried rice! I know they are simple but they were delicious!

Best Chinese takeaway I've ever had. I don't live in Blandford, and I'm very jealous of the people who have this on their doorstep!

I'm not one to leave reviews, and I have had Chinese from here before and I don't remember it being this bad, but I had to say something, that was probably the worst Chinese I have had. Firstly, stone cold. We don't even live far away. The chicken just tasted of pure salt. And everything, literally everything, was swimming in grease. Even the prawn crackers tasted old and soggy. Taste like it was made a couple of days ago to be honest. I'm sorry but I really wouldn't reccomend it.

Salt n pepper ribs and chicken wings was excellent. Loved it.

Ordered both the platters and was pleasantly surprised with what i revieved. Staff vwry easy to talk too. Will be recommending to others as well as returninh for other dishes

I'm hoping the chef had an off day. Given the other reviews we were very much looking forward to our 'easy dinner' for the last day of the holiday and we are generally not fussy on takeaway and frequent many in our home area. However the starters were packed together so the BBQ sauce and satay sauces mixed. The seaweed had no sugar. The sweet and sour lacked sweetness, was soggy and had too much red food colouring. The veg in the other dish was soggy and the chicken in the oyster sauce had too much corn flour so we had large jelly blobs. Hopefully there was a fixable issue and we just got it on a bad day?🤷🏻‍♀️

Always nice food and really good service. Even when they're busy they make time to be nice.

Very very very very bad experience. Ordered food at 6pm and was told that food will be ready within 30 mins- 45 mins. Went to collect after an hour but still had to wait another 1 and half hour outside the shop. Very very poor management. By the time I was home with food, it was already 9 pm. Kids were already in bed and our New Year plan was all ruined. Understand that it was New year and was very busy but should have informed that the order would take time to prepare in the first instance. Food was not as usual. Extremely sorry but will have to choose other Chinese Takeaway from 2021.

Slightly strange variation of Chinese food. The chicken fried rice had bacon in it and the house special fried rice had sausages in. Very odd.

Fantastic quality food and service

Well, honestly my meal was inedible and I returned it for a refund. I requested the food hygiene rating of the place and they refused to show me. Their rating is 3. My friends ordered the duck pancakes which were ok.

The lady that runs this store is the nicest, liveliest, friendliest and most fun person in town. Absolutely amazing food and always come out with a smile after talking to the lady there.
