This is one of the better best western hotels I have stayed in. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good, the homemade shepherd's pie or beef stew with dumplings is fantastic, as good as I have had. Just a bit let down with what I assume are frozen veg and chips. Some rooms are ok but some are well in need of modernising. Shower didn't work above bath. Car park is safe. Location is good about 12 min walk to center or supermarket. Good pub across the road.

The staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel itself is run-down, neglected, down-at-heel, desperately in need of a refurbishment to bring it out of the 1980s low-rent motel sink it has fallen into, and functional at best. Not good value for money. Its on a roundabout, which says it all

We had a Sunday carvery and there was plenty to choose from. Choice of meats and you can mix and match. Loads of choice of vegetables. Polite and friendly staff, bar and seating. Large dining room with lots of room for large gatherings. Booking is advised.

Step back in time 60years. We had a carvery. Pork was nice. I could list fault with every part of the carvery apart from that. Staff seem lost and confused. A tired building and decor. Sadly a sign of the times. For that Royston Vasey league of gentlemen feel, this is your go to venue.

We’ve been waiting nearly 2 hours, even after contacting the restaurant. Terrible service, won’t be ordering from them again.

My go to choice for takeaway in Blandford. Always amazing quality, super friendly. It has become favorite comfort food.

We stayed for a night travelling on the way home and were really surprised how nice the inn was. Serene location, spacious rooms with a really comfy super king bed, handy amenity top ups and the food was excellent. The staff were very pleasant and helpful as well, definitely recommend for a stop if you're in the area.

Lovely country pub! Food was fantastic. Just a shame half the menu was unavailable. We were in Dorset for a stag weekend and 7 of us just wanted some food. Was full of locals which is nice to see.

The cashier was rude, abrupt and i felt like I was putting them out for placing an order. Sticky floor, I thought ieould not be able to leave with my trainers on
