Sophia is so good! Came as cross Sophia in Fulham and the place is awesome. The menu has a good mix of dishes, well priced and very friendly staff. Highly recommend

I went here not knowing too much about the place as I prefer small independent cafe/restaurants where they care about the food. While they are really under charging, you get a large wrap with chips for under £8 which in Fulham is great, the quality of the food was amazing. I would easily have paid £12 for the area, the service was great as this is actually a Greek restaurant run by Greeks, you get properly fresh cooked food rather than mass produced chain blandness. I went for the lamb wrap and cannot recommend it highly enough, staff are very helpful and welcoming and the place is clean and tidy.

It is in the middle of bazaar. I had a chicken wrap which was ok and normal, not something special.

I didn't like anything, honestly. The food smelled like it was spoiled, and there was no treatment. The restaurant was very dark, and the price was not appropriate for the food. I hope you check that.

Abu Zaad in Shepherd’s Bush is hands down one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I’ve visited in London. From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed by the warm, vibrant ambiance and the comforting aroma of freshly cooked food. This place has a charm that makes you feel instantly at home. The food quality is consistently excellent. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. The salads and starters are a perfect beginning to the meal – crisp, refreshing, and beautifully seasoned. The hummus, baba ghanoush, and fattoush are must-tries! We ordered the chicken mandi and a mixed grill platter, and both were absolutely spot-on. The mandi was tender, juicy, and perfectly spiced, served over fragrant rice. The platter was generous, with a great variety of meats – all well-marinated, grilled to perfection, and served piping hot. The staff here are active, friendly, and attentive, always ensuring that your experience is smooth and enjoyable. Service is quick without being rushed, and they’re happy to offer recommendations if you’re unsure what to order. One of the highlights of the evening was the Moroccan tea – served traditionally, with mint and just the right amount of sweetness. It was the perfect way to end the meal. Pricing is very reasonable considering the portion sizes and quality of food. You definitely get great value for money here. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Abu Zaad is a must-visit if you’re craving authentic Middle Eastern flavors. It’s a restaurant that delivers both in taste and experience – I’ll definitely be returning soon!
