Great place for well cooked and fresh foods. Variety is great. Service is good. Would deffo recommend for a date, family, friends.

From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with **warm smiles** and swiftly arranged a table for all nine of us. Our meals were not just prepared **to perfection**, but the restaurant also provided **delicious sauces** to complement our side dishes. To top it all off, they treated us to **some delightful sweets** and a refreshing **mint tea**, which truly completed the experience. I only managed to capture a picture of my **falafel wrap**, but even from that, you can see the **expertise** in their craft. If I ever return to London, there’s no doubt—I’ll be coming back here, **100% guaranteed!**

As I tried to finish up my mixed grill, I caught myself wondering why I ever bother pay for high end restaurants when food tastes as good as this from a local restaurant like Ayam Zaman. The service is friendly and fast, the portions are generous and the meat is absolutely delicious. Chicken was beautifully grilled, lamb almost as good, rice fragrant, salad crisp, sauces punchy... excellent all round.

Chicken shawarma was buy one get one free was really nice. However, the service was bad, I was standing there waiting to be asked to order but they were going around looking at me but no one took my order. There was a girl and a guy both serving others and then one guy came and ask whether we were served yet or not. I was thinking really? After I ordered, another person came and the waiter took their order straight away. I’m not happy with the service at all but the food was good

We went to this restaurant in our trip to London for my cousin's bachelor party after going to the QPR vs. Burnley and I am more than pleased. We got there and the workers received us smiling and kindly prepared a table for us 9. We ordered and not only had they prepared all our dishes perfectly, but also gave us delicious sauces to dip our side dishes in. Finally, they invited us to some treats and a mint tea that was the cherry on top. I only have a picture of my falafel wrap, but just by seeing it you can tell their expertise. If I'm ever back to London, I'm going back there. I'm 200% sure.

The lady with light brown curly hair serving last night was extremely ill mannered, she has no idea of customer service. The food was okay however the welcome was not so welcoming which ruined the whole dining out experience.in to a nightmare. I am aware that these guys work hard on their feet all day but I also am paying a lot of money for their service and travelled far to get there. The food may have been good but after that experience it tasted bitter!

Avoid ordering from this restaurant at all costs. We ordered lamb shanks meal for £110 incl delivery, they did not even add any sauces or condiments which are essential. The last time the meat was very poor quality all fat. When we called back to report this the waiter said next time they will improve the quality, the next time was even worse. When we called the same waiter hung up on our face & said he can't do anything further. Their quality of food & service has greatly deteriorated from previous & we will never be ordering from them again.

I went last night with my friends for the Ramadan buffet. Price is £25, reasonable price but I expected a lot more. The buffet has limited selection and you can tell that there were some measures in place to maximise profit. There were only 2 main course options which were very basic and they were not really authentic Syrian dishes. The starters were good but again for £25 I expect more selection especially mains. There are many other buffets even syrian restaurants that provide much more options. We thought the buffet would provide some sort of dessert or tea however that was not an option and you had to pay additional for the tea. This is something I would expect to be included as complimentary when paying £25. I’d recommend going there for their menu food but not the buffet.

I used to dine at this restaurant regularly a few years ago, as the food was consistently excellent. However, I recently ordered a takeaway, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The portions were small, the quality was subpar, and the flavors were lacking. I ordered the chicken touk, which was bland and seemed to be made with low-quality meat that was simply boiled with no seasoning. Additionally, the potatoes were soggy and appeared to be old and reheated. Given the significant price increase and the decline in quality, I will not be ordering from here again. I gave a second change and ordered again and it was the same expensive very disappointed.

Great middle east food! Went there for iftar during ramadan and they served special buffet menu for £25. Worth it

Really authentic and juicy Syrian food, one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I’ve tried in London. It has dishes you wouldn’t get at normal ME restaurants. It’s quite well-frequented by Syrians which is always a good sign of authentic food. Plenty of seating space. I recommend the kebab with yoghurt dish.

If I can gibe zero or minus I will terrible customer service, we booked a day in advance for their buffet, they called me midday to confirm the booking, baring in mind I travelled along way, when I got to the restaurant they gave the table away the manager was rude didn't try to resolve the situation and he blamed me for arriving late 10 minutes.

We ordered the Shawerma for takeaway, all 5 were cold, not even toasted, was so tiny too, barely had any filling Got the fries too, was soggy and no salt on it Didn’t give any tissues and dips either Definitely not worth the money I went back though, the person was really polite, went to toast them and gave us sauce, tissues and ketchup But wouldn’t recommend!

An absolutely wonderful experience! My family and I drove up from Brighton, and it was well worth the trip. The food was exquisite—every dish was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. The service was just as impressive, with the manager, Mahmoud, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A truly special place that I highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely restaurant, the food is good but not exceptionnal. The staff is globaly nice except the east european girl who is rude. I like the algerian girl always smiling and i miss Fares my best waitress. Last time i ordered samboussek and he brought me rikakat saying and insisting that this is samboussek beleiving that i am stupid !

I recently ordered a takeaway from Ayam Zaman and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I ordered kibbeh and whilst I was looking forward to my meal, I noticed the meat was off, the food was rancid and not fit for human consumption. Which made me question the hygiene practices in the restaurant that they can send people food that is off. This left me feeling concerned about the food quality and safety. I reached out to the restaurant to report the issue but they seemed unconcerned and offered to make new kibbeh but told us we would need to collect it. I was extremely disappointed at this response as they dismissed the fact that they were serving meat that was off and could cause food poisoning. I wanted to share my experience as I do not want anyone else to have the same experience that I have had.

We went for the brunch on Sunday. I didn't try everything but they had many options and the ones I had were great. Excellent service and great coffee!!

Nice calm setting. Quality authentic food. We ordered the Makloba which was tasty with hints of cinnamon and tender meat. The frika lamb was super tender with the bulgur wheat having a nice bite to it. Forgot the name of the last dish - stuffed marrow with minced lamb. Was enjoyed but lamb needed more spices and salt to bring the flavour out. Mint and lemon juice is always a go!

Para cuando lo hizo, la comida sabía horrible y completamente poco apetitosa. Para empeorar las cosas, el servicio al cliente fue terrible. No hubo disculpas ni esfuerzo para hacer las cosas bien, y el personal parecía indiferente a nuestra insatisfacción. No volveremos a este restaurante, y no lo recomendaría a nadie que busque buena comida o un servicio decente.

Shawerma and flafel are really good I love this place

The food is amazing and deserves the price! One dish from the menu is enough for two people, its heavy cooking. The service was a little slow for a 5 star restaurant and the waiters sometimes forgot to bring over items we ordered so we had to remind them, but the staff was great treated people with respect and always had a smile.

Genuine Syrian food, great quality and friendly staff. It’s so hard to find genuine Syrian food in London so this is a gem, good to support local Syrian business aswell. The adjoining bakery and supermarket are part of the same business.

The food here was top tier, and very authentic. Tried Frika for the first time and it was delicious! And the Moutabal was perfect. Get the lemon and mint juice, so refreshing. Service very friendly. Will deffo eat here again

Really nice food and staff are l always welcoming. We were there quite late but didn’t feel rushed when they were closing up. I tried one of the specials and I’m glad I did. It was a lamb kofta in a rich tomato sauce with yogurt.

I just had a lovely breakfast in this amazing place. Hummos with shawarma to die for! Falafel was great. Sfeha was amazingly seasoned and done. Prices are reasonable for the service.

It feels like I was in Dubai. The food is very traditional and delicious. If you like Middle Eastern food, you shouldn’t miss it.

I ordered lamb chunk with rice . Disappointed as the rice seem to be not fresh and bit dry the meat also was not tender as it should be considering it’s lamb chunk. Also veg side was dry. Sauce not sure what it was brown in color. Did not reply pull a fuss as I say to myself never coming back. May be they used to be good years ago but not sure now. I am not a regular customer.

Necesitábamos algo de comida mientras esperábamos un evento en Bush Hall tan repleto para este lugar. No me ha decepcionado. La comida era genial y el ambiente encantador con muchos hablantes de árabe que indican la calidad de la comida que vendrá. Tuvimos un mezzo, pero allí la gente cercana ha hecho un buen aspecto, tal vez cursos. Y otros vinieron por un sándwich. El babba ganoush estaba un poco demasiado ahumado, pero el resto de la comida era perfecto. No recuerdo cómo se llamaban los platos ya que son la versión marroquí de lo que solemos conocer. Delicioso y lleno. La olla de té de menta fue un gran acompañamiento y la baklava un buen placer para terminar. La factura era sorprendentemente baja, así que volveré cuando sea el siguiente en la zona y lo haría incluso si los precios fueran más altos.

Ayam Zaman provides an excellent dining experience. The ambience is superb, the food is served promptly and tastes fantastic. I enjoyed the Shawarma, Biryani, and Kebab Hindi the most. The portions are plentiful and the pricing is fair. A must-visit!

Had a lovely meal with friends here last night. Staff were really friendly and attentive, providing a professional but pleasant service. We were provided a starter salad which was perfectly fresh. Food arrived in good time after. It was perfectly presented and tasted great. I had the baby chicken and chips and it was spot on. Finished the meal off with some bakhlava and green tea. Will definitely be returning!

Food was very good but was slightly smaller than expected, but that depended on what was ordered. Service from some staff was great, others seemed to have stern faces and at first were confused with customers. Otherwise, it was a nice place to hold a dinner party as prices were competitive.

We had dinner here and to be frank, we were very disappointed. As an Arab, I was craving some good food to remind me of home and this restaurant missed the mark. The appetizers were fantastic but both mains we tried were dry and lackluster. We also experienced some stomach pain afterwards which is a good indication that the quality of the food was subpar. The dessert was also very average nothing spectacular. The quality of service was okay nothing worth noting. The atmosphere of the place however and the decor was lovely.

The potato in tajin and makmour was smelly, unfriendly staff at first when we came in but then later they got a little better, overall relatively bad experience wouldn’t recommend.

Uhm so l ordered from here on Uber eats and the food was £24 couldn’t believe it but bought it anyways Cause l used to eat here for Eid,it came tye rice was so small they put sauce on it and l said Nothing on the rice my daughter couldn’t eat it cause they put the sauce in it and l tried the call them to make a complain and they hanged up and was so rude Don’t buy from here

One of the best spots in Acton, near Shepherd’s Bush, for authentic Syrian cuisine. The lamb shank is a standout—perfectly marinated, tender, and melts in your mouth, served with delicious rice and steamed vegetables. The restaurant offers a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, making it a great place to dine in. I was first invited for dinner by two friends from my gym and thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the ambiance. The staff are friendly and attentive. I was so impressed that I later brought my family along. A must-try place. Highly recommended!

Loved this place. The food tastes very authentic and the staff are incredibly nice. I will definitely going back and suggest you should visit too. There are a range of items, none of which we tried were bad. An excellent restaurant. Grateful to have an establishment like this nearby to me.
