Sonny's in North Hertfordshire

Friendly service and the toasties are nice. Mike shakes aren’t worth the money / aren’t quite mixed right but the mocha was delicious. Worth a try

We were looking for something to eat whilst moving my daughter back into her house after some extensive building work. There were seven of us including a two year old but wanted something not too heavy to allow us to carry on with the task in hand. My wife and daughter walked to Sonny’s to get some sandwiches whilst the rest of us unloaded the contents of three cars back into her house. After some time they returned with the help of two young women from the shop who’d helped them carry the food back as they’d got a little carried away with the “small lunch”. There were a few different sandwiches bought including salt beef (Reuben), pulled pork and brisket. All sandwiches were oversized and tasted very good indeed. They made a cheese sandwich for the two year old which didn’t appear on their price list and really couldn’t have been more obliging given their help to walk it back home too. It wasn’t particularly cheap but was very good with the baked cheesecake slice each as well. I would thoroughly recommend this establishment for a hearty meal to eat in (a couple of tables with chairs) or take away. I am not linked in any way to this business but would say they definitely deserve your custom. We’ll done Sonny’s.
