Paris was great and the bottomless was well worth the money. Amazing price amazing food and amazing sevice ! Had a great time.

Second visit to son of steak and it won’t be the last. Service was amazing! Helpful, friendly and informative staff. Shout out to Shaun for the amazing drinks and service! Would highly recommend trying if you haven’t already - you won’t be disappointed 😊

We went for the bottomless munch and it was our first time here! It was absolutely amazing and our server Nicole couldn't of been more accommodating, would highly recommend to try, defo worth the money!

Been with family. Food was good but portions are so small.. felt so hungry after mains and dessert. So much i had another meal when I got home. Sides such as salad and chips are not included with steaks and burgers and had to be ordered as extras.. ....and Also aircon was on so Felt very cold. Service was nothing exceptional.

Was disappointed to find out they had run out of flat iron steaks. At 7pm on a Friday night. Decided to splash out on a TBone, which I was not convinced by. I am undecided as to whether to give the flat iron a chance on another visit.

Excellent food great service and atmosphere

As I went for the steak I was over the moon with the food, service was a bit average. Dropped glasses, drinks didn't turn up first time of asking and dropped chips that got left laying on the table for the duration of the meal.

Was really nice, not too expensive. Presently nicely. Wasn't the best steak I've ever had so will most likely try other places next time.

Team overworked and tried to do their best...services very slowly.... Good burger, rice bawl, very spicy....loud music...

The food is fantastic. Service was the worst I ever had. Lipstick on a glass and didn't even get some kind of apology. I ordered the prawn starter, and it came without the garlic bread. I queried about it and got told that we were informed that there wasn't any which we didn't, he claimed he informed my friend who arrived before us, but she doesn't recall being told. As soon as we finish our food we have been offered a bill even if we still have drinks on the table.

Drinks: God awful , how do you mess up mojito twice !! Seriously , boys night sort of drink. Even the blind mix better It got worse with the main, steak might as well have been something stepped on. Full of gristle, chewy , tasteless Well vexed because this place used to be good. But no seriously either mismanagement or gross incompetence but something has happened that’s ruined this place . Consider shutting down

Probably the best burger I have ever had. (Truffle burger). Excellent fries and the beef dripping gravy is amazing. Missus had easy cheese burger and loved it. I rarely leave a tip but had no issues here. Served by Jack. 5*.

Can recommend the Beaky Blinder burger. My friend had a steak which looked amazing and the side dishes were excellent. Nice staff too. Will definitely go again.

Excellent food our first time here visiting our daughter….. we did not make a booking and the restaurant was full the manager found us a table…. We started off with cocktails which are fab then enjoyed a range of starters and then on to mains the steaks were cooked to perfection…… the vibe and atmosphere of this place is perfect Thankyou so much to Eden and the team for looking after us we will be back!!!!!

First time being here - lovely atmosphere and customer service. Ordered a steak, sweet potato fries, prawns with garlic bread, and some chicken, all of which were super delicious. On the downside, portion sizes are very small for the price, but nevertheless would still recommend as the food is delicious.

Honestly the bottomless brunch deal was so worth it and such a good offer, the staff were so lovely and friendly especially the manager and one the waiters named Jack. The food was incredible they served us the best steak I’ve ever tasted. I can’t think of one bad thing to say. We was also with a friend who uses a large wheelchair and we was seated near an accessible toilet and the manager made seating situation easy.

Came today for the first time , the food was so good we all had the £35 bottomless brunch so worth it as you get drinks included for 90mins, shout out to staff member jack he was so friendly and funny so welcoming we will definitely be going again.

For a wednesday the atmosphere wasn't bad and they had a few tables full. The food was nice , I had the NY strip which was very nice and I had a side of onion which was really tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food . Waiting staff were efficient and pleasant. Overall it was a good experience.

Food was nice. Small portions but good. When we asked for the bill it took ages to come so we had to ask again. Abit rubbish just sat waiting around. Waitress who cleared our table was a extremely rude. Tried to help clear the table and make her job easier by stacking up the plates (as I was raised right). She proceeds to ask me if I "wanted a job". Very rude tone and made me feel uncomfortable after just trying to help. Will not be visiting again.

Second trip here, very quick service as ordered of QR code. Food came out hot and as of good quality. We were still hungry it was 9.30 so we ordered some more food which came out quick but when given to us was asked “is this all you want as kitchen closing” whichI thought was quite rude. Then this restaurant closes at 10.30pm so it says on the website but felt rushed at 9.45pm as they were stacking chairs on table!!! So top marks for the food but not so much customer service skills.

First trip to Nottingham in a while, our server Nicole was very friendly, accommodating and with a fantastic geographical knowledge of Birmingham. The food was promptly sent to us, cooked perfectly and seasoned beautifully. These steaks may feel overpriced however the quality can not be underestimated. I would gladly eat here again.

A little loud, but the steaks were incredible. Nicole was delightful, amazing service and was sure to compliment my friend on his long walk from Birmingham! Will definitely be back!

Pretty average. The decor is very "shopping centre food court". My steak was chewy and a little underdone. My daughter's chicken was nicely cooked but the coating was doughy and not crisp. Fries were nice. Wine was OK (and cheap).

Where do I start only 3 types of steak available 10oz ribeye,8oz serlion and 8oz rump asked for medium well and got medium rare on ribeye and lots of fat asked to redo steak came back after 2min and only medium still fatty ordered small plates padron peppers came cold asked if everything was OK said only the burgers that was ordered was good then was asked if we wanted to redo ribeye which was to late has was put off dinner by then only bottle beer available so sorry but wouldn't be visiting restaurant again after being told its one of the best steak houses in Nottingham after this vist I cant see where it's one of the best wetherspoon do better steaks

Good food and service. Maybe next time I go the specials will be available...

Went to Son of Steak for the first time on NYE. Was greeted by friendly staff, steak was absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. Cocktails were nice also! Would highly reccomend.

This restaurant happens to my 13 year old favourite place to eat out and the food never disappoints. Flat iron steak cooked to perfection and as tender as fillet. Lovely sides and sauces too. Couldn't fault the food at all, never can. The staff were great, and the service too.

We went here last night and found it to be one of the best meals we've had at a steakhouse, we had filet and ribeye and both cooked very well. The dirty barbacoa fries are to die for. Well done to the chef and staff are lovely, I certainly recommend this place and will be going again.

Went for a late lunch while at the Christmas Market, the steaks were some of the best we have had eating out in a long time, the chips were fantastic and the drinks delicious.

Honestly can’t say enough nice things!! We came for bottomless brunch and our waitress was very very attentive. I have a good allergy and she was so helpful in going through the menu with me and checking everything was okay for me to eat. She went above and beyond and I’m so impressed with the service!! We were in Nottingham for a few nights and at about 9pm on Sunday wanted to have some food, but not necessarily fast food or sit down. Son on Steak’s website (spotting it just on google maps) looked good so we gambled…and let me tell you, we were NOT disappointed!! From the sweet potato fries, the steak & truffle burger, the coleslaw and the Bumbu rice bowl (I ordered it with a flat iron steak - PERFECTLY cooked and seasoned), it was a meal of champions! Although the restaurant was already starting to close, the staff and chef were wonderfully accommodating. We had our little dog with us, and as they’re not dog friendly, we couldn’t go in with the dog (and didn’t expect to either), but they even offered to bring us chairs to the entrance, which was so kind. If you’re in Nottingham, visiting or staying, and you haven’t eaten here, what are you waiting for!?

Great Steak , friendly and helpful staff.

Firstly was told was 2-4-1 cocktails, we reiterated this back and was told yes but had to be the same which was fair enough. When the bill arrived it clearly read 2-4-1 however was charged £12.50 for 2 not as per receipt although menu shows £12.50 discrepancy as we was clearly told 2-4-1. When querying this the waitress was very rude said i was embarrassing and should read the menu and i should take it up with IT, really. Her whole mannerism was unbelievably patronising, rude and unprofessional. IThe Consumer Protection Act 1. Section 20 of the Consumer Protection Act 1987 makes it a criminal offence for a person in the course of his business to give consumers a misleading price indication about goods, services, accommodation (including the sale of new homes) or facilities. At no point was there good customer service or an option to amend the bill appropriately or some form of monentary compensation. When asking fir the waitress name she refused. I will as explained be taking this complaint to their head office as receipt should not say 2-4-1 then charge differently. The food however was very good although abit pricey and the portions were more like child portions not adults

Absolutely amazing exsperience, food is 10/10 we both ordered steak burger with x3 side to share which was such a good price, such as loaded fries, beef tacos and nachos and everything was amazing and decent portion. Me and my partner was very full and satisfied. I would recommend to everyone. Service was great, atmosphere was lovley and drinks were great too. I will be coming back again thats for sure.

Reception by the staff was very warm and welcoming. The steak was as it is always fantastic.

Not the place for regular visits. Do not have much choice on the menu. Would be enough to go a couple of times to try everything. Do not have grilled vegetables, fresh salads.

Mixed feelings, the food was alright decent enough steak, but nothing special, the staff where friendly, but we where sat next to a party of 4 thatbwhere just extremely loud and obnoxious constantly squealing and screaming it really did kinda ruin our evening, when we couldn't even talk properly to eachother.

I remember Trinity Square when it was a bus terminus. That’s how long ago it was. Son of Steak came highly recommended. Apart from the time the food came out, which was a bit slow, everything else lived up to the reviews. The Fillet was spot on. Big place and busy. But the waitress was lovely. Very good value. The cocktails looked great. So much choice around the area but you won’t be disappointed with this one.

The food here is gorgeous, not a bad word to say about the quality. The manager who welcomed us was warm and friendly and explained everything that was needed - not sure of his name. Ariana was our waitress and was very friendly, super helpful, and gave quick service. Can’t wait to come back!

Good food, service ok, not too attentive, just reasonable

We enjoyed our visit. Noisy and busy but we were given a lovely booth for the two of us. Service was excellent- smiley, friendly and efficient. I wish I’d taken her name! Food was great. I enjoyed all the sides and was great to be able to have a fresh cucumber salad rather than just green. Steaks were great. I hate the boards but i know that’s the trend! Only thing we didn’t like was the Mac n cheese - no gooey crispiness. Just cheesy pasta! Other than that a v nice evening

Food pleasant but not the best. Ordered 5oz fillet and hubby 10oz fillet, unsure if either was actually fillet, more like cheap rump tail cut. 10oz consisted of 2 x 5oz, very questionable. Did complain and was re-served with a better piece of meat more like a fillet. Manager did sort and comp'd for 1 steak, but should not have to resort to this.

Went on a Saturday night with some friends and was blown away by the food here. Been to Miller & Carter on many occasions in the past and been disappointed, but not here. I ordered the steak with the chicken along with the dirty fries and it was amazing. The service was great as well.

Visited Son of Steak for lunch. Really convenient in the city centre. We were well looked after by the staff. We all went for the flat iron steak, it was one of the best steaks we have ever eaten. Very tender and tasty. The kaarage chicken for stater was also excellent. We will be coming back in the future.
