Brilliant, very friendly and cool little find! The Jukebox was rockin’ all afternoon into the early evening! Well kept front lounge and I will certainly enjoy this place again on my next visit to Cheltenham! Well done to the bar staff and regulars! See you all soon!

We stayed at Beaumont House and wanted to have a round of beer with the 'adult' kids. Very satisfied with this local gem. Super nice lady behind the bar who mixed a special request G&T for my daughter. Cosy pub with nice music

Such a lovely little hidden pub, but plenty of space and flexibility for functions in the skittle alley, manager Dave was very helpful and accommodating to us, we were able to hire the room the whole day and do what we wanted with it! Great staff and atmosphere overall!

Somerset Arms is one of my favourite pubs. Great community feel, good range of drinks, nice garden, and skittle alley. They put on lots of fantastic live music.

This is a very welcoming local pub close to Bath Road in Cheltenham serving a good range of ales and ciders. Recently refurbished cellar adds to the quality. Pets are very welcome. Locals like to strike up a conversation on any subject you want... Darts and Aunt Sally room. Lovely place...

I was taken here by my beer drinking buddy on our latest 'tour' - you need to know where it is to find it. A real locals/beer drinkers pub, with friendly staff & atmosphere and a good (changing) range of real ales. Well worth the extra walk!

Fab little pub where you get the feel of a real old local. Lovely courtyard outside and they welcome dogs too. Dart board and sports tv . Fab little skittle alley come function room too. I had my 21st birthday here 40th birthday and both my kids christenings. I would say this is the first pub to start with on the bath road run if you are up for a reasonably priced pub crawl in cheltenham

I visited the Somerset Arms for the first time walking back from football training with my son and grandson who live in Cheltenham. First impressions, friendly welcome from the barman, got chatting to the locals. The beer is kept well and place is clean and tidy with Sky sports in the bar, there is also an outside area. What l would call a traditional pub. Didn’t try any food so can’t comment, but would imagine it would be ok. Will defiantly visit again when passing.

Didn't enjoy the atmosphere, the poor food or the rubbish selection of ales on offer, won't be going again, that's all.

The Somerset Arms isn't a restsurant nor Indeed does it pretend to be one. . However, the Somerset Arms is how a traditional pub should really be; really well run; really good beer; really good prices; and a really good landlord who really knows the pub trade. . I didn't actually try any of the food on offer, but I did see one of the breakfasts that were being served, and it likewise, looked very good value. . It is a collectors' pub, a pub persons' pub, an unfussy pub for normal type people. . So, if you're a pub-type person and a person-type person, and you live in Cheltenham or the surrounding area, then you have no excuse in not paying the Somerset Arms a visit, and consequently, you have only yourself to blame, and that would be a shame. . Don't go and you'll lose out. . The choice is yours, be a winner or be a loser. .

Temporary local for a few months and very pleased to say so. Good selection of ales and a friendly crowd. Well worth a visit if you're planning to drop in to a few of the Bath Road pubs

The meat grill platter is nothing like the picture you see it is basically 6 chicken wings and the rest is veg and a bit of rice.. Totally not what you expect at all!! Such a shame cause it's a nice place, but I cannot think of a worse misadvertisement ever!!!! It should be advertised as a veg platter !! When I complained the waiter said the wrong picture was on Groupon but that picture had been on there for a least a couple of months if not more. Did give us some ribs and a handful of chips but did not make up for the disappointment..

Se reunió con amigos y socios de golf para el almuerzo de Navidad. Muy buena comida y servicio - Turquía, budín de Navidad o merengue o chocolate brownie limón. Todo bien.
