We hosted our engagement party at Cosy. Gavin and team were super helpful and made a memorable evening. Would highly recommend the space for private events and the team who are ace!

We had a lovely time here. Came on a Friday evening. The food is above average for a pub, it wasn’t too hectic and busy, and the waiter/manager was super friendly. I can see other reviews saying it’s a bit expensive for what you get but everywhere is like that at the moment. Nice place off the beaten track. Close to King’s Cross and the British library (worth a visit).

Lovely food, fish and chips slightly too large for me. Pork chop needed a few veg with it.

Had the pleasure of dining here on two occasions for breakfast over the weekend. The food was excellent, as was the ambience. A great relaxed venue. The staff were very friendly and attentive! Would highly recommend as an oasis of calm just off the hustle and bustle of Euston road! Will be back next time I am in London!

Very rude manager who misunderstood me, as I ordered potato skin fried and I got chips and when I asked to have them changed (happy to pay for the difference) she told me “I’m the manager, you definitely ordered that, if you want potato skin, you have to order and pay for them!” I replied that she might have misunderstood my Italian accent, also the pub was packed and very noisy but she shouted again, I’m the manager! Wow! I hope she enjoys my review as much as I’m enjoying the chips. Hopefully this place has also an owner, not just impolite managers!

Excellent time last night. Super friendly staff (Tia Maria) good food, portion sizes improved, great beers and moderately overpriced wines. All in all a very good evening out with great hospitality.

Had a lovely breakfast, good classic dishes, absolutely delicious coffee but best was the very warm and friendly greeting and service. Walked past this place many times and glad I finally went in. We were eating breakfast at 11 on a quiet Sunday morning so atmosphere unsurprisingly a little subdued but a real oasis of cheerful eating between Euston and King's Cross and at far more sensible prices.

Absolutely incredible place for meetings. We had an all day meeting here. We ordered ala carte snacks and coffee throughout and had lunch. Service was simply amazing that we decided to book again. Fantastic place!

Great pub, visited for food before travelling from Euston. Food was excellent. Our group had fish and chips, burger and steak and all were very good. We will be back.

Service: Nice staff, but our waitress did keep promising things that weren't true which then caused difficulties. Firstly, she said all roasts came with stuffing (they don't apparently), so we had to chase the extras. When our meals came an hour after ordering (aka very late, and also quite cold), she offered us free dessert to make up for it. She then retracted this, which left us feeling annoyed and bitter. She was nice, but please don't offer things that we can't have, especially when following the restaurants screw ups. They also all seemed flustered so ordering drinks throughout our time there was a bit hit and miss. However, they were apologetic for the mistakes, and helpful at times. Food: Not good at all. The food was an hour late for our mains. Half of which were incorrect (e.g. missing specific veg that they were supposed to come with, missing side orders etc). The beef was nice, but very rare (completely pink), which meant a few of our number didn't like it - PLEASE ASK PEOPLE HOW THEY LIKE THEIR STEAK COOKED (a fault of both the kitchen and service staff IMO). We had to ask the service staff to take plates back multiple times to get the food that should have been included as part of the meal. A lot of the food was cold, and the potatoes and veg were pretty soggy. The portion size was good, but quality poor. Overall, won't be returning, and we don't recommend this place to others. Indoor atmosphere was fine, but very dark inside.

I went to have breakfast. It seems like the breakfast menu is only available until 12pm. Prices are average (under £20 per menu). Staff very friendly! You were pretty!

I booked a meeting for ten people followed by lunch. The food was great, nothing too much trouble for the staff (and we had loads of last minute plan changes they accommodated!) and a unique space for the team to get together. Highly recommend! Also very convenient for London transport.

The menu is like a fancy pub food menu, but I’ve eaten here about three times in the last 6 months and it’s really hit and miss e.g. something that’s listed as part of the dish has been missing/it’s just not as tasty as you’d expect. Like, the fish and chips is nearly £20. The fish is really nice, but the chips are basically oven chips and you only get a tiny amount of peas. It’s kinda almost not quite worth paying for. The pub is nice and big though, with lots of space and is always warm. Plus it’s a great location for people come in and out of Euston /KX/StPanc

We had a really enjoyable Sunday lunch yesterday. The food was great, really good Beef Roast and the curry sauce with the fish and chips was amazing. Great service, the staff really look after you and they loved Teddy our Border Terrier

This is my go-to pub when meeting friends in the area. Never not been impressed by Somers Town. Attentive staff, great food, a lovely selection of interesting beer and a wide selection of cocktails. If you're in the area, it's not to be missed. Met a pal for Sunday lunch and they had a really good range of veggie and vegan meals. We both had a lovely time.

Close to the station. Perfect to rest there before taking a train or just to spend time reading and working. The service is very friendly and the breakfast is super good. A little welcoming and warm as we like them.

Met friends for lunch, nice relaxed atmosphere, attentive & friendly staff. All meals as requested, including our odd dietary requirements. Will definitely return, enjoyed good food & great wine.

Superb atmosphere, the staff very kind and ready to explain the menu to us because in English certain details escaped us. This was the last restaurant of this little family trip to London. I will come back to it. We were delighted. ☺️👍🏼

Very poor service from staff as well as the management. A Staff member lied about our group and management was very abrupt when asked about the accusations made by the lying staff member.The pub stinks and has a really dirty feel to it. Would not recommend this filthy place to anyone especially not to eat in there. The only one that was nice was Aisha if that's her name. Only professional and friendly one there. They really need to get rid of that manager she has not got a clue how to talk to people or run a pub.

Had a yummy veggie brunch and cappuccino here today! Brilliant location near King’s Cross Station. Lovely interior and spacious. Friendly and efficient service - they even swapped my plate and put the hollandaise sauce on the side when I requested less. Look forward to visiting again!

Good food, large portions. Indoors can be quite noisy so not great if you're out for conversation. Fab staff. Excellent service, every time.

We booked a private dining room for a friend get together. The staff were incredibly accommodating and the service was brilliant. The booking process was easy and they were very flexible. The food was pretty good. Easy and convenient location. Would love to come back.

Very quiet environment the food is very good the staff is very kind with the kids and thoughtful.

Very costly food for a pub for half portion size. Took 30+ min for olives and a basque cheesecake to come even though the pub was empty. The heaters don’t work the choice of drinks are also limited. The washroom stank of piss. The compote on the cheesecake was watery. The buns of the burger was burnt. The olives were very salty.

Met here with a bunch of school chums in December. A party of 12. Service was excellent and everyone enjoyed their meal. The Ox Cheek Pot Pie was delicious. Couldn't fault the service. If anything it was too good! A little longer gap between courses would have been welcome. However a minor gripe. Is definitely arrange another get-together here

The only reason for only 4 stars on the food is that we did not like the smoked steak - other than that - an excellent venue with great staff and we will return. Thank you!!

Reserved a table to team xmas drinks before dinner. Lovely atmosphere and the staff could not do enough for us. Table service so no queuing at the bar. Will definitely book again.

The 'Coffeehouse' has been a favourite haunt for over 25 years- from before the makeover to into its current incarnation. The atmosphere was always an attraction and the staff continue to be friendly, helpful and efficient. The food is good, if not truly 'top-drawer'.

Came here for the Christmas menu for 8 people yesterday and it was a fantastic experience. Food was excellent, staff were friendly and very helpful and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas! Not my first time eating here and was just as good as before too. Highly recommended hidden gem in London.

Fantastic. What a find! We had a group of 40 for a Christmas lunch. Everyone loved it. The staff could not have been friendlier, more helpful, organised and accommodating. Great English country pub feel just a stones throw from 3 major train stations.

We had our staff Christmas lunch here. The food was good and the service was excellent - we complicated things slightly when it came to paying and no one seemed to mind at all. The staff really added to our enjoyment :)

The food is always good. The service is always friendly. But Monday wasn't great. A busy Xmas lunch day. We sat next to the board that says give us a Google review. It should say something like "If you've enjoyed your stay, please give us a review. If there's a problem, tell us straightaway, and we'll fix it". We had to wait ages for our meals. That's not a problem in itself. No-one apologising or explaining, not even after we asked for service to be cremated, is disappointing customer care.

Great experience - good all round.

Our experience may not be typical - it was a very busy Sunday lunch time in December - but we would not return to this pub. It was incredibly noisy, the service was very poor, they had so many things on the menu that had run out, the food took ages to come, and the lighting was terrible. The sweet potato soup I had was quite nice.

Puntos buenos, La señora que nos atendió fue muy atento y trabajó duro. Puntos malos. Comida. Si esta es la calidad normal, o bien la gente acepta muy mala calidad o simplemente tuvimos una noche libre: 6 ostras pedidas - las ostras más pequeñas que he visto más pequeñas que una cucharadita. Aperitivo de mantequilla de cebolla de masa madre - tostadas más negras que marrones, quemadas 1 Porchetta. Nada como debería ser, 1 rodaja de cerdo enrollado con crepitación. Más grasa que cerdo. No muy bien. 3 fish and chips. 2 eran tan y tan, el mío era asqueroso. Lo peor que he tenido. Peces diminutos, masa gruesa y robusta que era sólida por fuera pero horrible por dentro. Puede haber sido el último de la masa, así que era demasiado rico en harina, pero nunca debería haber sido servido. Los guisantes no eran guisantes. Los guisantes normales se aplastaron un poco y menos que una cucharada de postre servido. Por el precio pagado fue muy decepcionante, pero por la calidad de la comida, deberíamos haber salido. Me reembolsaron por mis papas fritas, pero no me disculpé ni ofrecí nada más, así que mi velada se estropeó. Le habría dado 1 estrella, pero la camarera atenta lo empujó a 2.

Thank you for hosting our Psychology Xmas party yesterday. We enjoyed the use of one of the private function rooms upstairs and had attentive staff who were very helpful, especially when we had allergies to tend to etc. Tasty Christmas platters too

Saw on Google and on signs outside the pub that they served breakfast. Went in at 10.10am and was told they weren't serving breakfast because they had reservations for Christmas lunch. Disappointing they can't deliver what they advertise.

Very nice cosey pub, well decorated, good options, good service. Catered to us well and left us in peace when we didn't need anything straight away. No pressure or timelines from their side. Would come back for a longer visit.

I recently organised our work department Christmas lunch at the Somers Town Coffee House and have had nothing but praises on how amazing the event was and how lovely the venue and food was. from start to end the process was handled soo well by the entire team at Somers and the food was absolutely lovely and good portion size and lets not forget within a great price. Highly recommend it and would not hesitate to go back.

Encontrar este pub en esta zona de Londres fue muy inesperado. Es más como un pub de Home Counties. He estado dos veces. Un lunes estaba casi vacío. Un martes estaba lleno de sólidos, incluyendo los asientos al aire libre en diciembre! Precios estándar para Londres: cerca de £ 7 para una pinta y más para aguardiente / mezclador. ¡Baño bastante pobre y maloliente! ¡Con lo que toman podrían acariciar a alguien para limpiar más a menudo!

This coffee house is a regular for us as the office is just round the corner, so convenient and we enjoy the ambience. We’ve had various leaving celebrations here with substantial money spent. On Thursday, 28 November 2024, we came round to send off a colleague who was leaving and were sat at the Bar Garden enjoying the evening. Later in the evening, we decided to order rounds of chips both chunky and skinny and fully paid for. As we needed more, we decided to order another round of the same. The waitress brought the skinny chips but not the chunky one and advised that they were out of chunky chips and brought us potato skins as an alternative which we didn't order. The waitress was asked why the potato skins as we didn't order it. She then explained and a colleague said as we didn't order, was it complementary, and she apologised and said yes and that was the end, only that it wasn't! A Barmaid then returned to challenge us as to why we didn't pay for the potato skins and we explained the discussion had and that it was complementary. Lo and behold the bar attendant called Jenny became aggressive, rude and shouted at us to get out of the pub. She went as far as swearing at us, she was foul mouthed, drunk, rude and absolutely unprofessional. Jenny spoilt the evening with her bad manners and she is not fit to represent this pub as her behaviour was a disgrace and despite this being local to the office, we will not be returning and felt the coffee house needs to be aware as Jenny will ruin the reputation of this Bar.

Visited here with some friends who had a train to catch at Euston. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. Food was good, average London prices. Just a short walk away from the station, but away from the crowds, definitely worth a visit.

La masa estaba crujiente todo el camino y la salsa de curry era inmensa. Podría haber bebido eso sola. Voy a hacer todo lo posible para volver y disfrutar de la comida y el ambiente de nuevo

I went to the downstairs bar cosy with my friend and loved the vibe and the service was just amazing. The bartenders were very helpful in choosing drinks and very friendly and welcoming.

Went last saturday 9 of november for a visit downstairs to Cosy and the customer service was amazing, also the bar was really nice. Really chill place and we really enjoyed our visit. Thanks once more! (Two finns playing cards in the corner) Also the staff upstairs gave us a nice welcome and recommended the downstairs bar for cocktails.

A charming, chill, and all-too-rare Independent tavern and coffee house tucked between Euston and King's Cross. Food looked pretty posh, but the vibe was neighborhood-friendly. While I wouldn't call this spot "cozy" (it's a sizable space), it's comfortable and it was neither empty nor crowded at 10 pm on a Friday night.

Disappointing, after years of coming here. Sad to see the cocktails included in happy hour has changed, and you don't get standard signature well known cocktails included anymore. Mocktails cost the same as cocktails in happy hour. Friend said hers tasted disgusting, and only had 1 sip, told the barman, and still had to pay full price. Cocktail wasn't nice either. They need to go back to how it used to be

I love the Somers Town Coffee House - where we were sitting was quite quiet which made having a conversation very easy (some pubs are too loud!) and it's a very relaxing place to be. They make an excellent espresso martini here. On this visit service was slow to start with - but it did improve. Also, this venue has only recently started doing a roast lunch on Sunday and it probably wasn't the best choice for me - my friend had fish and chips and that was much better. I will definitely be back, but possibly not for the roast beef.

The Somers Town Coffee House is a great spot for a meeting or a casual coffee break. I only had a coffee this time, but the atmosphere was so inviting that I’m already planning to return and try their food menu. The setting is relaxed yet lively, making it a perfect spot to catch up or get a bit of work done without too much noise. Overall, a lovely place to unwind, and I look forward to sampling more of what they offer!

Stumbled across this place last week looking for dog friendly kings cross venues. Will now be a staple - a good few veggie options. Table service. Staff were exceptionally brilliant. Not unreasonable prices. We'll be back when we need a nice option NR kings cross.

I attended a meeting here in one of the well appointed meeting rooms and had lunch in the bar. The sea trout and lentil dish was delicious and just right for a light lunch.

took the small mtg room for special time with 5 friends. room was perfect... great attention to requests and to us from staff... food was very nice... the bar and restaurant buzzed with friendliness....great location close to british library... easy to find. recommend highly

Lovely visit as always. Is a halfway point for a friend and I. But homely and cosy instead of the glossy places in the area. A hidden treasure, nice beer selection, warm staff and nice menu with unusual dishes. Eg. I had mushroom and leek strudel. Mmmm. Thank you Somers Town team - we'll be back to annoy you by talking too much and not looking at the menu!!! 😀

Excellent food, quick service, choice of good draught beers and a surprisingly quiet (though it was 2.00 p.m.) We will definitely come again
