Lovely visit as always. Is a halfway point for a friend and I. But homely and cosy instead of the glossy places in the area. A hidden treasure, nice beer selection, warm staff and nice menu with unusual dishes. Eg. I had mushroom and leek strudel. Mmmm. Thank you Somers Town team - we'll be back to annoy you by talking too much and not looking at the menu!!! 😀

A very comfortable place - the staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is nice. My friend has a dog and it was welcome. We enjoyed the vegan strudel and the cauliflower steak a lot, and the crumble for pudding. Convenient for Euston and Kings Cross. We got the for five on a Monday and there were plenty of places to sit. Our new Euston-ish go-to!

Worst experience for a Sunday Roast. Served 3 of the 4 starters and then the team member turned to my husband and said, sorry we've run out of the Croquettes (surely you knew this before you served the other starters?)this meant he went without. The roast pork is described as "Pressed old spot pork belly, crackling, honey mustard jus, crispy kale and noted - all roasts served with pickled red cabbage, roast potatoes, honey roasted parsnips & carrots, Yorkshire pudding & gravy" There was no crackling the potatoes were hard, no red cabbage - it was so bad my husband sent the meal back (30 years I've known him and never known him send anything back). NO ONE came to the table to apologise or see if there was anything that could be done. The lady behind the bar just moaned all the time (not just to us but to others customer) saying "I'm short staffed, chef is not happy, not having a good day and I really don't care about any of it" I felt for the other star members who were clearly being pulled and being shown NO leadership from the Landlady / Manager / person in charge. I have worked in hospitality over the years and there are days when things do not go to plan and people let you down BUT you always put your game face on and show your paying customers that there booking and custom is appreciated. I have been here before for brunch with my girlfriends and drinks with colleagues, which is why I booked, but sadly I will NOT ever book again.

Nestled just a short walk from Kings Cross and Euston, The Somers Town Coffee House is a charming and dog-friendly pub that offers a delightful dining experience. The friendly staff provided excellent service, and the food was equally impressive. The roasts were hearty and flavorful, accompanied by a delicious side of crispy kale. The Caesar salad was also a standout. The pub's traditional decor, featuring dark timber paneling and beautiful crittall windows, created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning for another visit.

Excellent local pub close to my workplace for myself and my colleagues to wind down and grab some of the great food on offer. Unfortunately in recent weeks a large group calling themselves a local community group have been coming on Thursday and Friday nights and being very rowdy and antisocial and upsetting other patrons and clientele. If they could keep their disputes and overly intoxicated loud behaviour contained it would make it a nicer atmosphere for everyone. Many Thanks

Went downstairs and I ordered three gin and tonics for work colleagues and according to the bar staff, I wasn’t allowed to order it because I needed to drink some water as he felt I’d drank too much before. Just to make it clear, I’d had one vodka and Diet Coke. When asking him for evidence that I’d had too much to drink, he couldn’t give it to me. Absolute jobs-worth bar server.

Loved the eclectic aesthetic, and the location. The service was very polite, friendly and highly attentive, only slipping a little when we were ready to order, partly as we had taken a long time to decide amidst the many appealing choices, and partly because it had gotten a lot busier (around 6pm). The food was simply delicious. Will certainly be coming back on account of this alone. Also recommend the cocktail lounge downstairs after eating. Only issue was my discount from The Fork was not applied. I remembered this morning and called back, and spoke to Tim. Apparently this had already been noticed and noted on the order - Tim apologised profusely and very graciously dealt with the matter. Will certainly be coming back for a second visit.

I've tried a few chain pubs in the area and the food was fine to average, but this was my first delicious pub meal in London. The Haddock and chips were perfectly cooked, and at a comparable price to the inferior products nearby. And you could tell the chef cared by the effort put into plating. It looked as good as it tasted. Full marks to the team. I had an awesome meal.

A brilliant pub that is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of St. Pancras/Kings Cross and Euston Stations. Easy walk . Despite the name, it is a beautiful pub that has got it all sorted. Real Ales, cold lagers, good wine selection and a garden to sit in to enjoy it. Added bonus is the Gluten-free Fish and Chips. In the evening, past 5pm, the very "cool-vibe" cocktail bar opens its doors downstairs. So you have a choice of a traditional pub OR a funky cocktail bar. They do offer brunch, however, so we plumped for some choice options and waited. And waited. When the food came, the full english was cold but we couldn't attract the attention of a waiter so it went uneaten. My eggs florentine were over cooked and also cold, but I was hungry so ate it regardless. The flavours and portions were, however, spot on. Just a shame the service and temperature didn't match up to what chef was creating.

I ordered a mussels+cider+bacon+muffin option from the brunch menu. The waiter asked me if I wanted a big portion for 2 people or a small one for one person, even though there weren't such options on the menu. I chose the small one. To my surprise, what I got in the end was just a portion of mussels – without any extras like bacon or bread. When I asked about it, I found out that indeed the small portion didn't include anything else but the mussels; they offered to fix it by adding extras, but then explained that it wasn't possible. This was especially deceiving since the small portion wasn't even that much cheaper: 14£ vs 16£. It could be just a problem of communication rather than bad service, but there were also some smaller issues: they didn't bother to wipe the outdoor table before serving us food (it was very wet after the rain), almost forgot to take the order from my partner, and then someone was asking us whether we want to order some drinks while we were already waiting for our order. Overall I was quite deceived with the service. The food was ok.

Don’t order the cocktails because 1) they’re nothing like they should be, i.e. wrong glass, wrong ingredients, wrong ice proportions 2) I don’t think they contain any alcohol. Booked a table in advance to spend with friends before Christmas. Couple of things, no table service which meant that we all had to queue for food and drinks losing most of our evening to the mad Christmas pub queue rush. Second, all of the sparkling drinks weren’t available. The bartender then said they recommended the champagne at double the price of everything else. Said that was a bit cheeky but if they’re doing it for the same price as the ones we’ve asked for then great - that was obviously a no. However later in the evening the same bartender gave a glass of champagne to another customer and said they wouldn’t charge for it as an apology for not having the other drinks available. Anyway, I’m sure it’s lovely for a post work pint or a pre-train drink, but for a booked evening for a group, it was disappointing.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT CLENLINESS, HYGIENE AND GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE STAY AWAY! We asked for a menu but they said they were not taking food orders anymore, so we ordered 2 drinks instead. The juices came in tall glasses filled with ice and after taking a sip through the straw I noticed that the rim was dirty. It looked like dried up food that hadn't even been washed yet. My friend went to kindly ask for some clean glasses and the woman behind the bar denied there being anything wrong with it, blaming 'the salt from the dish washer'. It was only after a back and forth and her continuously rolling her eyes huffing and puffing she agreed to replace the cups with cleans ones. Or so we thought. Instead she brings out a dirty sponge and puts hand wash in our cups to 'clean' whilst shouting at us 'I'm doing it' before refilling it and handing the glasses back over. We were so shocked at the entire experience we decided to leave straight away!!

Popped in for lunch. It was extremely busy which was a expected as they had lots of Christmas lunch reservations. The staff were attentive as best as they could be and did their best to deliver the food on time. I ordered the lentil burger, which unfortunately wasn't cooked properly as was very mushy in the middle, so was disappointed given whatbid paid. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take any photos.

Extremely unfriendly, dismissive, and unprofessional service. Worst customer service we have received for years. Took 2 hours for food to come, and staff treated us very rudely. - Date: 19/11/2023 13:30 - We (4 people) ordered English breakfast x2 [around 17 pounds each], burger x1 (no sauce) [around 17 pounds], pancake x1, cocacola x1, tea x1. - 1-hour wait for breakfast x1 and pancake x1 to come. - 1.5-hour wait for the burger with sauce (wrong order) to come. - Server offered to exchange the burger, and said it would only take 8 minutes. We asked again if he was sure it would be 8 minutes, and he said yes. - Around 1.75 hour mark, 2nd English breakfast came. - The English breakfast was bad. The hash brown, were cold. They added a lot of salt to the egg and tomato. The bread was soggy. My partner finished only half the food. - After chasing them again (after the wrong orders and everything), waiter told us that they forgot about the burger (incredible), and will recook the burger. Note that the waiter did not make sure the burger would arrive without our prompts. - After 2 hours, the burger came, and the tea came after we asked them about it again. - Burger tasted very dry and tasteless. The portion was not generous. - There was a hidden 10% service charge. - After 1.5-hour wait, we chased several servers a number of times. The staff just said the kitchen is busy (the pub is less than 33% full. It was 2:30 pm), and did not even check with the kitchen. The staff A and B were extremely impolite and dismissive. it seemed like it was our job to make sure the food come out, not theirs. - Around the 1.75 hour mark, before the second English breakfast and burger came. One of the staffs (A or B) offered refund. But when another staff C came to do the refund. He saw that the breakfast was here, and then proceed to only refund the burger. - The staff B who was using the machine to implement the refund was very impolite. I felt like we offended them, but it was the other way around. - After we left we realized from the receipt that the server C did NOT refund the 10% service charge. Astounding. We were paying a lot to have a bad day.

Disappointed to be honest, Sunday roast was pretty lacking. Watery thin gravy, two dry potatoes, one lonesome carrot... It's a lovely pub but I wouldn't come back for food when there are so many Hampstead pubs who do it better.

Love Costa, I think they have the best coffee out of all the most popular coffee chains in the UK. I went to the one in St Pancrass building by the platform for trains to Luton airport, I'm not sure if this review is written under the correct shop, as the pin seems to point to the King's Cross building, but I didn't find another one. This was a couple of months ago. The very pleasant service made a difference on my travel to the airport and I wanted to say thanks.

Great Leon location. The staff are friendly and it's always clean. Plenty of seating usually even during lunch rush. They also have the best chocolate chip cookies in my opinion.
