Absolutely beautiful. Food is out of this world and staff are lovely, friendly people. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back again.

Food was nice , but were informed no rice , no risdoto and when food came were also informed no chips for my daughter’s meal which was a night out for her birthday , was very disappointing all round , but somehow the next table to us who came in after us got chips ! Won’t be going back to that restaurant again !

The food was decent and the service was good but unfortunately it's not a real italian restaurant. Most of the dishes offered aren't part of the Italian cuisine and there are basic mistakes on the dishes names on the menu.

Really great place for the area standards. Not a posh restaurant, but a really great, authentic looking Italian place. Service was amazing. One of the best I have ever had and food was delicious. If only I lived closer it would be one of my favourite places to eat.

Four of us popped in last weekend and were very impressed. Started off with complimentary tomato garlic bread which was nice and fresh. We each had different menu options and the food was really fresh and tasty. The place was very busy and they certainly cram you in. That said,not to the point you were on top of each other or eavesdropping on the next table. Service was fast and we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Waiting staff were attentive and the evening was finished off with complimentary shots. A lovely little gem hidden at the back of Howden. Thankyou for a great evening,we will be returning soon.

Only eatin the once BUT was lovely and definitely will be returning again. Good quality fresh food and very very tasty. It takes a lot for me to enjoy food.

Original review: Lovely little place, great food. Autism-friendly staff. Will be coming back for sure. My son said the carbonara was better than mine! Cheeky

Lovely friendly reception from front of house staff, who were attentive and helpful despite restaurant being busy. Restaurant and bar just lovely, very clean and well presented. Menu has a really great selection to choose from. Meals delicious and beautifully presented. Definitely highly recommend a visit, 5 stars all round.

Really enjoyed our second visit here, which was better than our first experience (not that our first was bad). The food was really tasty and lots of extras were thrown in for free, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is really lovely. The staff are great, including the manager who often comes out to check everyone is happy. But special mention to the FOH/wait staff member who was fantastic with our little girls, keeping our toddler entertained and generally just creating a lovely, warm, family atmosphere. After this experience we definitely won't leave it so long to return.

Called early on a Saturday night and clearly a very busy restaurant as rated at 4.8 out of 5. However, they kindly managed to fit our group of 3 in. The staff were very friendly. We had fruit juices to start which were very refreshing then my son had a Calzone Pizza, I had steak Diane and my wife had the seafood platter. The food was very tasty and well presented. The restaurant itself is close to Howden Minster which is partially ruined but spectacular. There is plenty of parking close by.

We booked a table for a late lunch for 3 adults and 2 kids. It was lovely. Very friendly, the food was great and they were happy to make a pizza to take out for someone who wasn't able to be with us. The pizza bases are gorgeous, very thin. Like eating in Italy. Really enjoyed it. 😋

My wife and I were looking for a meal out while away for a few days and came across Luna, after missing out on an Italian the night before, I phoned, was allocated a table and we arrived about 45 minutes later to a warm welcome, complimentary garlic bread and a well-spaced, table layout. We each had three courses (shared a starter) and paid just over £40 for the food and best of all the meal was absolutely outstanding. One of the best pizzas I've had (and I love Pizza) great portion size, really tasty and more than enough to fill us up, without leaving any of us feeling like we'd eaten "too much". My wife also had a lovely (but a bit expensive) Pink gin and lemonade cocktail, which despite the price, she had a second because it was so nice. In total, we paid about £70 for a fantastic 3 course meal with multiple drinks. It's a shame we don't love locally, because we would be going back to Luna VERY often.

Just a little bit too noisy for me (only reason to drop a star) .. otherwise excellent in all respects .. (perhaps turning down the background music as the place filled up would reduce the escalation of loud conversations?)

Been twice lately, first time having a chicken dish which was very minimalstic, thinking it was a one off, tried again and had the steak with peppercorn sauce, ....and that was it for £22, no chips, no veg/garnish, when first opened it was bang on, apparently there,s a change of who's running/owning, wont be going any time soon, very disapointing!

Food and prices we "ok". I had the pesto pasta and thought it was a bit bland. My husband loved his food though!

I recently moved into Howden and live pretty much opposite this little gem! I’ve had takeout pizza and chips from here which really were amazing! I finally got round to going into the restaurant and sitting down for a meal with my mum and I really must say it’s the best meal we have had in a long time! Food was so tasty , we found it hard to pick what we wanted on the menu as there was so much delicious dishes to choose from. We had starters, mains, desserts and coffee the full shebang!!! Everything was cooked to perfection! Service was above and beyond - such a lovely team!!! Everything about this place is so lovely! We will without doubt be back and would highly recommend Thank you to all the staff at Luna for such a lovely evening , we will see you soon X

We rang on the off chance of a table and they accommodated us straight away, the service by the staff was fantastic and the food was excellent, we shall be having a meal here again very soon 5*****+

Was enjoying a fab meal until Martin Fisher and his wife Sheila Daniels walked through the door. Immediately felt sick. Two Scumbags who have made a lot of money preying on the vulnerable had an awful effect on my appetite. Beware of these low life's good people of Howden, you do not want to be associated with these two things

Nice food, although my steak needed trimming of its grissle membrane. Very tight space wise, a large table of 10 filled the room, I spent most of the time dodging the waitress and the table for two behind us would have totally been unable to move. A bit more thought and it would be 5*.

Well so far after looking at the website and it saying they were open I made a booking online and it was confined via email but when we turned up it was closed. After talking to a few people I was told it was closed for staff holidays and that it was on Facebook that it was closed. I don't use Facebook so how could I possibly have known. Then when I called to challenge them all I got was a message saying their mail box was full!! Not making a great and if I didn't have a voucher I would NOT be going back.

We had heard a lot about Luna and we were not disappointed. The garlic mushrooms starter was fantastic and the home made lasagne to die for! There is a great selection of wines to choose from and at good prices. Th atmosphere is great and the staff friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back next time we are in Howden. Thanks Mia!

In order to not get a another reservation and open the the floodgates on a hidden gem I should say terrible food food and service, but that would be a huge injustice to the proprietor and staff.

Lovely Italian although not very big and was very busy. It was a Saturday lunchtime though but it was packed by 1pm and we had to wait a short while. Food was excellent and freshly cooked. Recommend the Lasagne and the Pizza.

As British food is not the best of England it's okay to take a break and go to an Italian restaurant for a change (chicken, pork and fish and chips become bland). The lasagna is very good, the pizzas excellent, the service was quick and efficient, the prices are usual for London and it's near the Albert Hall and the Natural History Museum.

Went here as we fancied pizza and this was the first one we found (as it was raining heavily). We ordered a pizza which was average - nothing special and some garlic bread. The garlic bread (if you could call it that) was some dry bread with oil rubbed on it and some herbs - absolutely no flavour. Also overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend

So the neon Pizza and Pasta sign outside doesn’t really speak of quality food , but it looked popular so we managed to grab the last table. The interior is a little more cosy being quite small, but despite being busy, the service was fast and efficient. though the sticky, plasticky menus were a bit off-putting. The food wasn’t long in arriving and I must say the Puttanesca was wonderful at a reasonable price considering where we were in London.

En general, aparte del vino y los camareros no es una experiencia estimulante.

Fue una gran decepción, el servicio fue muy lento. Después de una hora de espera, vinieron a nosotros y nos dijeron que no pueden hacer nuestras comidas porque no tienen nada. Finalmente después de 20 minutos más conseguimos nuestra comida. . . El lugar está abarrotado, la gente sentada en la gente.

Locale piccolo che si trova a 5 min dallo Science Museum , da fuori non dà una gran impressioni ma siamo entrati perchè la bambina aveva voglia di pasta.Il personale cordiale e veloce , primi piatti buoni e davvero abbondanti, abbiamo richiesto una pasta all'olio fuori menu e ci hanno fatto un prezzo davvero ridotto ed alla bambina è piaciuta molto. Gnocchi davvero buoni e sugo che ricordava davvero i piatti italiani. Buona anche l'insalata e il pane-pizza. Cottura ottima e prezzi nella norma per essere un ristorante di cucina italiana all'estero.

Everywhere it says open until 23 00 Came in 21 30 and have been told its close well done !!! Next time just make sure you inform ppl upfront about your trading time

My partner and I were looking for somewhere to eat on a busy Friday evening and happened to walk past. The menu looked good, there was a table, in we went. The restaurant was very busy and the staff coped well. The menu is a good and simple choice of some delicious pizzas and pastas (also meat and fish I believe but we didn't get that far!) We had olives, garlic bread, a vegetarian pizza and a seafood spaghetti and all of it was delicious. Yes they added a 10% service charge which we were happy to pay as the food was inexpensive and great quality. Will definitely visit again.

Unexpected stay in the area... looking for a fairly fast dinner .. and even at 7.30 some restaurants were shutting their kitchens!So Sole Luna doesn’t immediately look cosy and warm .. more like a takeaway BUT DON’T BE PUT OFF. Great service .. limited but varied classic menu and excellent quality, portion size and value. Will certainly return!

The garlic pizza bread was amazing I had a seafood pasta and it was delicious. My grandmother had chicken and mashed potatoes.

Nothing to complain about! We were there for a late lunch with two of our grandchildren. We had a variety of starters to begin our meal. All delicious. Three pizzas and gnocchi for our main courses. Again all very tasty. Plenty to drink; a mixture of soft and alcoholic drinks. We were happy with the service. All for a decent price. Yes a 10% service charge was added to the bill but that’s not particularly unusual these days. We would definitely return.

Visited this restaurant for a quick lunch with the family. The service was quick, the portions are big and tasty. All good but nothing special. I think it’s a bit pricy but it comes with the location.

Came here with my family and service was good. Ordered garlic bread to start which was tasty. Our mains came and they were nice but didn’t have a lot of flavour. Watch out for the mandatory service charge. Probably wouldn’t rerun.

We visited this café last weekend, two adults, two children. We waited to be seated, athough there were vacant tables, and then ordered food and drinks with a waitress who appeared quite disinterested. The ordered tap water eventually arrived, warm and already in glasses and then we waited for the food while other people who had arrived after us received theirs. Eventually our food arrived and it was good although I didn't consider half a pizza base with garlic butter spread on it as a portion of garlic bread. The service charge was already added, which I felt was very cheeky and I begrudged paying it. If you want good Italian food, but almost zero service, you'll get it here.

Fuimos a comer con los niños y la comida no está mal pero el servicio es deplorable. No queríamos pagar la propina incluida en la cuenta porque preferimos siempre dejar una propina más ajustada y se lo dijimos al camarero. Él nos dijo que no era una propina que era el IVA y hay que pagarlo y si no lo queremos pagar que comamos en la calle. Una persona mal educada y mentirosa. Mi recomendación es no comer en este sitio porque se puede comer mejor en muchos otros sitios por el mismo precio.

De hade goda pizzor och snabb service, till ett bra pris. Vi beställde två pizzor, de kom med en extra tallrik till vår son utan att vi behövde fråga. Inredningen kunde varit charmigare.

We came here to have lunch before going to the Royal Albert Hall. The place had appealed to us because of its reasonable prices and the promise of good standard food. The food was good, however the service we received was quite frankly unacceptable. We are students and so on a tight budget so asked for the service charge to be removed. The man (he appeared senior) was clearly agitated by this, and it took lots of talking until he agreed, rudely saying that it was okay "if we thought it was acceptable". On our way out, the same man said that we should have told the restaurant that we were not intending to pay this charge before we sat down and then we would have been refused service. He topped this by saying that "in future, maybe it would be better for [us] not to come back".Ridiculous - the place was not busy and I'm sure the £40 we did pay between the three of us is far better than nothing. We left feeling nicely full, but somewhat insulted.This man needs to learn how to treat paying customers.

We enjoyed this restaurant very much! My daughter had pizza and I had spaghetti carbonara. The portions were huge and were very tasty! I thought the prices were very reasonable for south Kensington.
