Super cute and old English set up, this pub is just perfect. Food is delicious, ales and lagers on draught are amazing and the staff are super friendly. Definitely stop in next time you are travelling around the Cotswolds!

Lovely location , but I didn't have food

Pleasant and convivial atmosphere. If you plan to dine here around lunchtime on weekends, best to book a table ahead of your visit. Doddington’s makes for a nice pint!

Beautiful food, very good portion and just a lovely pub

Attitude or what?! Have visited this place many times before and been delighted with the hospitality, what a disappointment this time! Ordered two ‘specials’ as normally the best you can get when fresh and great locally sourced products. Ordered Gloucester Old Spot Sausages with mash, peas in a Yorkshire pudding with rich gravy. Well, look what turned up - see pic. Turns out to be a bought in Yorkshire Pudding with contents. Spot the difference, one with two sausages and one with a third more main ingredient, three sausages! I called over what appeared to be the landlady/boss and politely asked why one had two sausages and the other three. She curtly (without a smile or jokingly, despite it being April Fools day) advised the two serving were bigger sausages!! Unbelievable!! One appeared bigger because it had been incorrectly cooked and burst open!! I just looked at her in disbelief, and then the killer comment (made in all seriousness, not in jest) said she would remove one of mine to make two each!!!! Couldn’t make it up. Would have laughed if her wicked eyes weren’t aimed at my back and would have killed me!!! Unbelievable! To rub salt in to the wounds, the sausages were questionably Gloucester Old Spot as completely over salted and IF they were, then from a questionable butcher in my opinion. Departed, hungry, most of our lunch left. Never again. Warning, unless you like to be treated as if in FawltyTowers, then avoid.

Beautiful place to visit with so much to see in the house as the man who owned it was a collector over 9000 items on display

Went for a sunday roast,it was nice and tasty but dissapointed that there was no yorkshire pudding or a jug of gravy.first time iv seen this as we go to many pub stopovers in our motorhome to sample their sunday roasts,carverys.

Unkind staff. I buy drink and I couldn't buy any foot from menu becouse I have strong allergy. I had crackers with drink and staff ask me to go outside to eat it becouse I couldn't buy nothing from them menu. I hope you guys to have better emphaty next time.

A lovely pub in a great setting, nice beer, a chef who knows how to roast beef and great staff! All at a sensible price! Highly recommended!

Such a welcoming local pub. So great to be able to walk out the door, walk 100 metres and enjoy the hospitality of the Snowshill Arms. Sunday lunch was excellent and lunch today was good too. Especially delicious were the Spotted Dick and the , new on the menu, Biscoff Cheese Cake. We highly recommend it. Thank you for our lovely welcome .

Excellent country pub, really good value food. The pies and retro steamed puddings are superb plus decent real ales from Donnington. There's also a lovely beer garden and outside area for warmer days. Definitely worth seeking out if you're in the area!!

Lovely pub in a beautiful village, great food very accommodating as they where very busy we hadn't booked for Sunday lunch. Visited Snowshill Arms again and the meal didn't disappoint Sunday lunch was lovely great atmosphere and the owners/staff are very welcoming and friendly in addition very pet friendly.

Food is standard pub grub done well. A warm welcome and nice spot to stop off for lunch on a walk that passes through Snowshill.

Loved the cozy Christmas atmosphere here with warm log fire - many dogs, kids welcomed, very local, friendly staff and patrons. We had the burger and also spot sausages- very good!

Have visited this Pub many times and it is consistently good , visited for lunch last week.Lovely atmosphere, has good support of locals. Bar is often lively, and tourists who return when in the area. Good value traditional pub food and local ale. Staff friendly . Every thing you could wish for from a traditional English pub.

A very nice little pub we stopped in half way through our hike. Considering there were 10 of us, the ordering/delivery of the food was super quick, it helps that it tasted great too!

Have visited this pub several times and each time the lady barista has been extremely unfriendly. On my last visit the barista was too busy talking to people behind the bar and blatantly expressed her displeasure with the service. She didn't listen, interrupted, was not accommodating to the service. Her whole attitude showed her disregard for the customer whose native language is not English. Disgusting attitude and service.

Very disappointed, booked a table for 4 people, we all had different meals but every one was over cooked, I had gammon and it was tough because it was dry and overcooked, the rest of the party as stated suffered the same complaint, we honestly think the meals had been left under heat lamps, as said really disappointed, never again.

We were in the area to visit snowshill Manor, and arriving at lunchtime, with no booking managed to grab the last available table. Pub was bustling and friendly, food well priced and tasty. When the rain set in, and we realised we had no raincoats the pub lent us an umbrella so we could continue our trip. So kind and trusting. Dropping the umbrella back we stopped for a late afternoon drink too. Thanks to the staff! A lovey day!

We maakten een rondrit door de Cotswolds en kwamen hongerig hier aan. We wilden om 14.30 u sandwiches en drankjes bestellen, maar kregen te horen dat de keuken dicht was. Mensen om ons heen kregen wel gewoon menukaarten en konden eten bestellen. Toen ik daar wat van zei, kreeg ik te horen dat zij gereserveerd hadden. Wij konden alleen chips en drinken bestellen. Het voelde alsof locals hier wel bediend werden, maar aanwaaiende toeristen niet. Geen prettige ervaring!

We decided to eat here for my birthday. Although we live reasonably local this is the first time we had eaten here. This will probably be the last. Although we had booked in advance we were given what turned out to be the worst table...

We were in the area and decided very last minute to visit for Sunday lunch. We were lucky to get a table as it was very full and is clearly a very popular destination. The service was good and the roast beef and pork was excellent. Can highly recommend but definitely book to avoid disappointment.

It does exactly what you expect from a well run English pub in the Cotswolds with none of the pretentious stuff that you so often get… Good beers, good food, pleasant friendly staff and clean toilets - what’s not to like ?

We are regular visitors to the Snowshill Arms and we chose to meet an old friend there this afternoon as it is open until 6pm. However, we were sitting in the garden and went to get our second drink just after 4pm to find that the pub had been closed for a lock in. It would have been nice to be given some warning so that we could grab another drink before being locked out during opening hours. Several other parties arrived at the door and looked slightly confused that the opening hours said 6pm, and yet the doors were locked and curtains closed….We’ll just stick to the Plough in future.

This was my first visit to this lovely Cotswold Pub. Great garden - beautiful day. Perfect spot for an afternoon drink with plenty of space for the children to play. Advertised as open til 6pm. Except we had one drink in the garden, went to...

Can't comment on food however the pub was extremely popular, only downside for me was no fizzy pop except in cans which resulted in 6 cans of various cola and a lemonade at a cost of over £17 which I thought was a little steep.

Stopped for lunch on a Cotswold Way walk. Staff friendly and great food menu. We had a mix of baguettes and panini which were all good (and very large). Bar small but sunny day so the rear terrace was popular. Further garden area behind this

Regular village pub. Donnington's. Friendly service. Access to garden is circular. Toilets very clean. We had walked 3 miles from Stanton, so much appreciated.

We met friends at the Snowshill Arms who we hadn't seen since the start of covid and we couldn't have chosen a better place. We sat on the terrace for lunch. The service was very friendly and efficient in the bar and food service. The food was beautifully prepared and nicely presented with good sized portions at a very reasonable cost. Thank you all. Recommended.

Everything was so enjoyable at this beautiful little old world type pub. No music, no TV and people talking.... With a few dogs dotted around for good measure. We had the pie and chips which were good and served up fairly quickly by friendly staff but the star of the show is the pub itself and the location..... Beautiful village. The pub garden is lawned and situated to the rear with a large car park. Worth a stop if you're nearby.

Great location - very quaint and beautiful but the actual food was a disappointment. We were ravenous at the time so would've eaten anything but still could notice that the food was not particularly nice... it was edible though! Wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We stopped here for lunch. The place was not packed and the pub is very cozy. I ordered the stake and kidney pie which was ok but I would have preferred a flakey top instead it was a bit soggy. Good selection of local ales.

1st visit to the place which is about 6 miles from home. Lovely food, friendly atmosphere, good service and a good price too. Just what you need on a Saturday evening.

Called in yesterday after visiting Snowshill manor. Just called in for a drink. Local people were very friendly ( lovely couple with a Springer spaniel). We saw tasty food being delivered by the waiter and so ordered whitebait and a bacon and brie Panini. Delicious...

Popped in on a windy rainy lunchtime, the staff were wonderfully friendly and accommodating and found us a table as we were eating. Food was exceptionally good. I had the vegetarian lasagne and other half had the seafood platter. Nice vibe, real fire - was...

When ordering fish and chips I imagined crispy freshly cooked batter surrounding a lovely cod fillet. It was in fact something you buy in Iceland. Frozen coating and grey and white mushy flesh. The chips and mushy peas were good but I expect much more from a gastro pub. Staff and service were good also.

Set in the attractive Cotswold village of Snowshill, the eponymously named pub is everything you would expect a Cotswold pub to be: utterly traditional, exposed Cotswold stone walls, wooden beams, a convivial atmosphere and excellent locally brewed ales from the Donnington Brewery, stalwarts of brewing...

Snowshill Arms is very good for food - a nice selection during the week and a great Sunday lunch, too. All home cooked, which is excellent. Food good and hot. A great choice if you fancy leaving the cooking and washing up to someone else occasionally! Good value. Always busy, so remember to book a table in advance to be sure to get a meal. The pub is dog friendly and there are plenty of walks around the area (but remember to leave your muddy boots in the porch on the way in!

Lovely village country pub it a beautiful location. Phone signal weak don't expect any Wi-Fi here, there appears to be no will of the management to provide working Wi-Fi as its been this way for 18 months.

Brilliant country pub lovely pies and great choice of ale's a nice warm welcome

From an outsider's perspective, I was genuinely warmed by this pub. Staying over the road and having this on our doorstep provided us with much of the charm we experienced during our stay. The food both nights, especially the Sunday roast were great. A minor food issue was rectified quickly and being able to accommodate our second sitting at very short notice deserves 5 stars on its own.

A beautiful well kept little village. The Manor House was not open unfortunately but we had a lovely walk around. Definitely worth a visit.
