Tucked away on a trading estate. Standard workmen's cafe with added lip with a smile from the ladies there if you get too cheeky. Daily specials without any rush to finish. Take out or eat in. Step to get in if you have mobility issues.

Hope the owner's won't be offended, but this is a "proper greasy spoon", nice, clean, tidy, friendly staff and a great choice of food on their menu, cooked or cut fresh to order, all at a good price. Set up, I suppose for the local worker, but all welcome, my kind of café.

Lovely pub, I genuinely wish it all success. Comfy and welcoming. Only one gripe, some customers use the seats as coat racks even when it’s busy. Seats are for people, sorry. We came in and only had one drink each because of this, we would loved to stayed for more but we can’t stand for that long.

Came here for Sunday lunch and a few drinks with my partner. Lovely staff, amazing Sunday dinner and nice time in the bar area after! Will be returning without a doubt 😁

I was passing through Hartlepool and stopped at their market stall. Friendly man, 10/10 biltong. The Chili flavour is some of the best I have had out with SA. Garlic to the same standard but the chili took it home for me. Will be ordering some online.
