Fantastic pub if anyone is visiting redcar go to this pub the atmosphere and all the staff are absolutly lovely very very friendly will definetly call in again when we are over this way

Cracking little bar with plenty of atmosphere full of genuine folk. The landlady(of Romany/traveller stock) knows her stuff, pleasant interactions and well priced...Will definitely visit again!

Sometimes it's not all about star ratings! It's all about whether or not you had an enjoyable experience! First impressions as I walked in were not 5✴️ but never judge a book by it's cover. Its a very small pub with basic tables and chairs and old fashioned decor, black and white photos on the walls along with some old leather tack used by farmers with horses from years gone by. A wooden bar with tall chairs. Nothing fancy, just basic and functional. One toilet for both males and females. Very clean and spacious. No food is served here, just crisps. Music was great too, not too loud, so you could have a conversation without shouting. Jackie behind the bar was amazing, so friendly and attentive. I went with my partner, and we met some amazing people, never stopped talking and laughing. Made us feel very welcome. Shall definitely go again. So definitely worth 5✴️

Great pub good atmosphere great staff and good beer

An authentic Irish style micro pub with a snug feel about it, nice regulars and a good selection of drinks to please most. One of the few places in Redcar that sticks to the old traditions that pubs had like having its own beer and cider, guest ales and flat ciders, being dog friendly, a weekly quiz, live music, screening Boro matches, themed events and the good old bus trips to other towns. It’s got a nice friendly feel about it and that’s mainly because of the way the Helen interacts with everyone. Would I recommend it? Certainly, even if you’re a single female. Would I return? I do and more so now I have a dog to walk 😬

Really lovely micropub with a gorgeous good boy springer spaniel to welcome you. Cash only though so be prepared. Nice wine selection.

Visited during day drinking session here. It was ok. Not much atmosphere during the day. So much so we only had one drink.

My friend and I hadn't realised it was England Vs Scotland game. You needed to book a table. The landlady put us in the back room, which we didn't mind. Both the landlady and barmaid made sure we were okay every so often. Whenever I have drunk here you always get a lovely welcome

Busy little pub, lively with a great atmosphere. Friday night so lots of people in. Our first visit. Unfortunately we sat at a table with a drunk who kept talking about "the germans" and finally we had to leave when he turned nasty about me using my phone.

We live down South and have been down there for 33 years, but we are now coming back up North to live inbetween Redcar and Marsk, our freinds took us there for a few drinks and me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the evening the owners were very friendly and welcoming, and there was a great feel about the place, and the locals made us welcome to, and the choice of beers are great, must place to visit, kind regards Jeff and Diana

OMG.. Simply the best pint of Double Maxim in the world. The lady behind the bar is amazingly friendly and welcoming, and changed a barrel just for me. Seriously, well worth aong journey for their superbly kept beer.
