Excellent food. Good cafe menu.

Had a walk on the beach and popped in for a coffee and cheese n ham toasties. I must say they were the best toasties I've had for a while. Thick bread and generous filling. Would definitely recommend. Also having looked at the menu the choices are great something for everyone.

Great little snack spot. Hot food prepared fresh while you wait. I visited during a beach race event this little gem wasn't too busy so got nice food quite quickly. Great prices too.

We're always greeted with a cheery hello or good morning when we arrive. Yesterday for a change we fancied a bacon and mushroom roll each with a latte. The breakfast arrived cooked perfectly and the latte was piping hot. The Snack Shack never late us down and is our breakfast café of choice on every visit to Mablethorpe. Thank You

It's really the beach chalet (and Mablethorpe itself) we are reviewing, which was great. Bobby is very accommodating, hours are flexible (no overnighting though!) and friendly. I saw one of last years's reviews said the one they used needed updating;he is in the process of doing this now and some of them are really lovely - come next year and see! The only downside is no toilets very near (about a 5 - 10 minute walk?) and you have to pay 40p, but that's nothing to do with the beach huts! This end of the beach is a little quieter than the Central Promenade (the "Kiss-me-quick end" as we call it, where all the amusements, rides and other snack bars are) which is lovely. Mablethorpe is the most dog-friendly town I have ever visited and also good for disabled people in wheelchairs or on scooters. I have been working here looking after an elderly lady and liked it enough to come back with my partner for an overnight stay and day hire of a beach hut as we live only an hour's drive away. Probably not much going on for teenagers/young adults, especially out of season, but if you like sitting watching the sea, walking on the beach, walking in the sand dunes, it's perfect!

Fresh ice cream at really reasonable price lady was nice enough and helped me carry them to the family. They melt fast so make sure if you carry them family arent to far away

Great location, fair food and drinks, but looks tatty. Dead plants in pots is not very inviting. Needs a tidy to move the business forward.

Love the beach huts, great for kids and dogs. Right by a dog friendly beach so the whole family can enjoy. Owners are really friendly, there's the cafe and little shop. Close to the main promenade. Will definitely return, worth every penny

Great service the owner Bob goes out of his way to help you in any way he can the food is A1 always hot. Try the full English you will not be dissapointed. Hired a beach hut for two days could not fault it,had a kettle 4 cups and 4 deck chairs also has a tabble and 2 chairs and a sink with cold running water 5* plus.

Relaxed vibe with bench tables on the prom & beach, Spanish music, & some small palm dressed doing better than expected on the north sea coast. Fresh dressed crab (available from 9am on Sundays) , delicious.

A quick break away and a recommendation for the beach huts at Snack Shack cafe made for the perfect place to kick back and relax at the beach. The huts are simple yet perfectly serviceable, the bright boarding and artwork welcoming, all you need to sit back with a cuppa included. Pricewise, they are worth every penny. I stayed for 3 days and a glorious sunrise daily, the absolute peace of the morning and evening, then the fun hub of passers by and neighbourly chats in the sunshine....priceless. Izzy and Bobby are absolutely delightful. Genuinely a lovely couple who it was a pleasure to meet. Nothing is too much trouble and they are so much fun to be around. To say they work hard is an understatement and they have a genuine commitment to their customers and friends. I look forward to visiting again soonest.

Visited today with work colleagues and service users , were made to feel very welcome .also had number 18 beach hut which was lovely to get out of the current heat . Bobby sells lots of snacks which are reasonably priced , and also has some lovely trinkets on sale

Amazing. We went early in the morning and the staff were accommodating enough to let us eat on the beach in the sand and bring our food to us. Friendly and delicious. Will be visiting again.

Love going here as you can sit near beach and have something to eat or drink and grandchildren can play on the sands and we can keep eye on them.

Best breakfast in town. Loved by the locals and dog walkers. On the quieter but more beautiful north prom. The owner Bobby is quite a character and most leave with a smile!

We had lunch basic child chicken nuggets . My granddaughter was watching peppa pig on my mobile my husband and grandson went on the dodgems I packed ever thing away well thought I had ?. Just walked outside with my granddaughter 10 yards realised I had not got my phone went back in table had been cleared and the place was fairly empty then asked if my phone had been handed in did not get a good response not helpful at all. I know you cannot point the finger at people but I have my suspicions it was who ever cleared the table I should have asked for the manager.I am so upset many memories photos on that phone all so within 5 mins phone was switched off

The food here is fantastic for the cheap prices and the services is second to none. The owner Bobby loves to make everyone feel comfortable and at home making this a great place to eat. You can either eat inside or outside on the prom looking over the award winning beach and the sea.

Superb cafe, they hire out beach chalets for a very reasonable price. Has all the amenities to stay on the beach all day. Owners very nice and accommodating. For the dog owners out there they also sell doggy ice cream to treat your pooch.

Very good service a place to go

The owners, Bob and Lucy, with their staff, are very friendly and can't do enough to cater for your needs. The cafe is on the North Beach where dogs are allowed all year round so it is particularly nice that you can take your dog in the cafe. There is no access to the kitchen area because there is a little gate blocking it off. There is fresh water for dogs and a good selection of toys for children. The beach huts were all booked up but they look great, so bright and cheerful. I should add that the food and drink is excellent value.

We had every intention in hiring one of their beach chalets for a week of our holidays so on arrival we went into the cafe to enquire what time we can get into the beach huts and while waiting decided to try something of the menu .while eating..... a female dog owner came in with dog of the lead and the dog proceeded to go under tables where a family were eating breakfast and was brushing against the diners legs ,some in shorts.you could see they were not keen on having dog sniffing round.then a family of 6 came in with a collie type dog on lead which proceeded to shake itself and be rubbed and stroked by its owners next to people eating meals .and the best part is only 1 person in the group wanted serving..surely a serving hatch could be utilised for pet owners to be served outside and not in the confined spaces of the eating area.we had booked a hut but at this point decided this was not a place we and our family would not like to eat in ...not a place for me thanks

Nipped in for a mid afternoon snack while we was on the beach. Place is good but small so if the weathers bad it would be packed. Still with nice weather there's enough room to sit outside and keep the little ones on the beach

Beach huts excellent value for money, and a great beach, but be warned dogs are allowed on the beach off their leads. Our grand childrens sand castle was urinated on several times by dogs with ingnorant owners

Visited again last month and thoroughly enjoyed being sat outside in the glorious sunshine and eating a really good lunch. Bobby is always so welcoming and he really works hard on the North Prom. Can't wait to go back again. Thanks Bobby.

Justo en el paseo norte directamente en frente de la playa (gloria). Una cálida bienvenida le espera de Bobby y Lucy. La comida es abundante, cocinados a la orden, nada de problemas. Un montón de espacio para sentarse fuera, en realidad, incluyendo mesas en la playa! 100% perros también. También tienen tumbonas y hamacas, redes de voleibol de playa y cabañas para alquilar, incluso. Lugar perfecto para disfrutar de la playa. Una pequeña joya escondida.

Hi all. This cafe is smack on the seafront and serves all the usual drinks etc. We had a full English breakfast with fried bread toast and the works. Plus a sausage for the dog. !! Yes. Dogs allowed so amazing ! Bob the owner is polite and very friendly. Service was great. Highly recommend this little gem for sure. Down to earth honest local people. I love it.

Lovely cafe and really nice people, strange toilet

Tucked away near the sand dunes at the furthest end of the prom. Basic, decent teas and coffees with benches and tables outside. A superb spot right on the beach overlooking the sprawling beach and coastline. Can't fault this little cafe which seems to be always open, low and high season.

Best brekkie, whatever the weather. Dogs are most welcome too at this cafe too. Never a dull moment with Bob.

Called 4 breakfast yesterday fab great value 4 money pleasent staff some beach huts were hired out as training exercise on the beach these r great as been right on the beach a bit cold today so did not stay to long would recommend to all 5 star

Absolutely fantastic food, and great friendly staff and service.

The owner is very polite and tries to make everyone feel at home. The food is up to scratch but the menu could do with more choices. The coffee here is disgusting like a cheap industrial tin.At the time of my visit their was a female member of staff called Sophie who was rude and impolite. I hope she isn't like that all the time. Overall. . . . There are better places to eat in town.

Stopped for drinks on our way back from Queens Park. Plenty on offer, plenty of beach toys ect on sale. Beautiful views, lots of happy customers. Highly recommend a visit!!!

Amazing value and very tasty with an amazing sea view. The best breakfast I had all week, so much so we went back. Not as cheap as the Louth pub but it's a lot better

Loved this little cafe great location on the beach we used it a couple of times for drinks and things for the beach for the kids very well priced and good value for money.

The snack shack is the best café in Mablethorpe. We visit here every time we visit Mablethorpe and they never fail to deliver the best food and drinks. Our latest visit was during our beach boot camp and a large group of 20 people descended on the snack shack. This was not a problem for them at all and the service remained at its high standards throughout.

All i can say about this cafe is it's fabulous. Bobby and his team are all friendly and always happy to help. They do gluten free chips and were happy to make sandwiches up on our gluten free cobs.

I visited Mablethorpe recently what a smashing place want to visit again very soon and eat at thus cafe as the reviews are very good .

This is Bobbys place he's there 24/7 serving a great breakfast and other delights. Make a day of it and rent one of his luxury beach huts, sit by a beautiful sandy beach put your feet up and sip a lovely coffee. Bobby sells buckets and spades and all sorts of beach toys. Nothing is too much trouble. This year Bobby has turned the area into a paradise with plants in his wonderful new P Garden, odd name you think, no cos all the plants are in beautiful old painted porcelain toilets and accessories a fun idea to brighten the prom up a bit more. Poor Bobby wanted to be on the Mablethorpe In Bloom route but due to politics unfortunately he's not included. Well worth a visit and so much fun, the fact his beautiful area is not included I think could cost Mablethorpe the In Bloom Gold this year. So please join Bobby and enjoy his hard work while eating his lovely breakfast

After going to a fish and chip café near the golf range and amusements and seeing it empty I asked if I could take my dog in as it was raining, only to be told no my dog wasn't allowed in. Obviously they could afford to turn business away! We found the snack shack and what a little gem that was. No problem to take the dog in, water provided for him, we had our food which was very nice and the dog had sausage which was served cut up on a plate with a serviette, how good was that? Really nice coffee, didn't feel rushed. We will be going back.

Stopped off here after a walk down the beach, 5 of us had breakfast and all was cooked fresh for us and was piping hot, this obviously meant we had to wait a little while but was well worth it. Will definitely call here again.

Popped in at about half 8 as there wasn't a lot of places open. I chose the large breakfast, consisting of 2 sausage, 2 bacon, an egg, tomatoes, beans, 2 rounds of toast, mushrooms and a drink. The coffee I had was really nice and the breakfast itself was lovely, especially the sausages, which unlike a lot of cooked breakfasts, had a very good taste to them, a little like Cumberland or linconshire. The decor inside is warm inviting and Mrs snack shack accommodating. I would defiantly recommended and shall return again for another great breakfast.

A delightful beach cafe to relax in or on the terrace with beautiful uninterrupted views of the beach. The food is plentiful and well cooked. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they smile!! The service second to none.A friendly place to while away time just watching the waves rolling onto the beach. Bring your well behaved dog to enjoy the miles of sandy beach.There are number of superb well maintained beach huts to hire and well worth having for a holiday, whether it be a weekend or a week. With a handy cafe, a deckchair, a book and a kettle what more do you need?

What a little gem of a place. Small, welcoming and friendly cafe right on the sea front - service excellent the owner could not do enough for us - even gave our dog a free sausage! He showed us the adjoining beach huts - what a surprise - each one individually decorated with its own theme - very artistically done (also well equipped). So unexpected, a real treat.

We visit the snack shack cafe as often as we can - whether the sun is shining or not, you will always get a smiley and upbeat welcome from Bobby and his team. The food is great value and plentifulThe outlook is stunning and rivals any taverna I've visited!!!

This morning after a stroll on the gorgeous Mablethorpe beach, we found the snack Shack. We are both vegetarians and we're doubtful that this little place would cater for us. However, not only did Bobby provide for us BUT he made us the tastiest breakfast that we had ever had. There was so much on the plate, every bit of it was cooked to perfection. All of this from a lovely man that was working on his own without getting in a flap!!! Definately going back for more. 10/10

This a little gem right at the of the Mablethorpe promenade going towards the Sea View car park. Great mugs of tea and milky coffee, bacon & sausage baps or English breakfast. On a sunny day good to sit outside and watch life go by. Even on bad day nice and cosy inside. The prices are very reasonable and all served with a smile from the friendly family proprietors. Dog friendly with water bowls outside.

Bobby works VERY hard and goes that extra mile to ensure that your visit is enjoyable in every way. Great food, great prices where you can afford to take the whole family. The beach huts are decorated to a very high standard and are also reasonably priced.Well done to Bobby and all of his team

Visited yesterday with the family for my mum's birthday. Hired one of the beach huts for the second year in a row. Lovely, clean & so well kept by Bobby. A brilliant, relaxing, fun day with great sea views. The snack shack café sells good home cooked food & my sister, who's vegetarian, was well impressed with the choice on offer at a very reasonable price. Will definitely return! :)

Go along here to see 'Bobby' everytime we are in mabo. Great friendly staff, great food, Great beach huts! Had a full cooked breakfast on our last day to set us up for our journey home and that it certainly did do! cooked to perfection! Little one loves the ice cream and the slushies in the twisted bottles :D
