Smoque in Bromley

Like an oasis in the desert we stumbled across this restaurant whilst desperate to eat after 10pm. Everywhere else was shut so we said “Guess this will have to do” without expecting too much. What a great surprise. Very friendly staff (Adam was amazing). Very fast service and waiters who don’t even need pen and paper to take an order (kudos). Food was delicious and plentiful and great value Can’t recommend this restaurant enough and we will be coming back again when in the area. Five star !

Right from the welcome this restaurant and it's staff were amazing. Food was excellent, atmosphere was perfect regardless of the occasion for everyone there, and the staff were absolutely fantastic. Adem looked after us and deserves a special mention as he was warm, helpful, attentive and really fun; he made an excellent experience even better. Even as we left the lady on the door handed us Roses (Valentine's) which was a beautiful touch. Best restaurant and staff in Bromley, we'll definitely be heading back!

Came in for Valentine’s Day with my husband, got seated quickly food arrived fast and tasted amazing as always. Our server was Adam was an amazing waiter made sure to constantly check up on us, ask about our food and experience. Made sure we had everything we needed and was really up to date with everyone. Made our experience here 100 times better, can’t wait to come again.

One thing I will say, is that no matter how busy the restaurant got, the servers would face you and give you their attention despite the pressure. Nice environment & nice food

Large Turkish restaurant hidden away from town centre. Only few customers for a Saturday. Offered free Turkish tea which a surprise. Food good. Service good tho onĺy one waitress.

Da Bomb🔥🔥🔥 A fabulous night out for a birthday celebration. We were made to feel like VIP’s as soon as we walked in. The service was outstanding with the right level of attentiveness. Mehmoud who was server was exceptional in making sure we were happy with the service. The food portions were generous, food was fresh and quick to come out. The cocktails were strong (like how I like dem 😜). A perfect night and would definitely recommend this for a celebration and any good night out!! Also good music to accompany a fab night out!!

Amazing customer service from vez & staff great guy , nice cocktails amazing grilled food. The bread is warm & fresh, If you have it with the garlic sauce and Harissa it’s even nicer! fresh salad available. The cocktails are perfect great for all ages, especially if you’re between age of 18 and 35, you will get tipsy, and im so happy . Brought my grandma and her bestfriend after keyhole surgery. @galaxyextractions on tik tok I will deffo be coming back

If you like meaty Turkish food you won't be disappointed. They've got everything you'd expect if you're familiar with this type of food. Prices are reasonable. Presentation is excellent and the service is also really good. Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive, happy to make suggestions. Food is well seasoned and they have an extensive cocktail menu with something for everyone. Shisha was good too. They've got a small section at the front, unfortunately isolated from the rest of the restaurant, but at least warm in the cold of January. Parking right outside. You have to pay up until 8 but it's not extortionate. Overall I'd recommend it.

lovely Turkish restaurant with a wide range of meals catering to all tastes. We ( group of 13) visited to celebrate a birthday and the celebrant was made to feel very special. Portion sizes are generous and the food was tasty. A wide selection of drinks including cocktails and mocktails. We all had a great time.,Vez and the team do a great job. Well worth a visit.

Had a wonderful meal with 13 members of family as we celebrated a birthday The resturant was able to easily cater to this big group which included a vegetarian. Staff provided drinks and our food quickly with no issue. Whilst all the staff were wonderful I have to single out Vez who who was brilliant and very attentive. if you're looking for a good Turkish restaurant with ambience and good food, Smoque is worth a visit

Vez, Adam and Hebeton served us. They were the most accommodating hosts/servers I’ve come across. They ensured that our food came out on time and went out of their way to bring out our starters and mains together. The food looks amazing, Vez even asked if I wanted my prawns without the shell. Cocktails are exquisite and fruity. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want amazing food and a great atmosphere!!

Highly rate the mixed grill - selected the 4 portion option equates to c£22 each The kebab meat was moist and generously proportioned and paired well with the salad that comes with it and 4 side dishes (usually a couple of chips and rice dishes) The Falafel is excellent, served crispy on the outside, soft and full of flavour on the inside! The lamb just falls off the bone.. just as it should!.. Smoque cater well for families, many of whom were celebrating a birthday, over half a dozen in the 2.5 hours we were in attendance. Got a bit trying after the fifth one.. Certainly worth a visit especially if you are on the vicinity!

If you love kebabs, this is a must on your list. Great tender and juicy meat with options for veggies as well.

Came for the first time yesterday around 8:15pm . I think it was the Boss who sat us down. I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the Boss who help me with my bf fits attack . I am very very grateful that he Packed our food for take away . As we couldn’t eat the food there. He was very helpful with the whole situation. Food was amazing . Hopefully one day we’ll come back . The environment was VERY cold, heating turned off in the main restaurantdres, dress warm, this led to the food getting cold very quickly. You shouldn't have to keep your coat on, when paying to eat out in a nice restaurant and then having to taking food home to reheat. This experience was very disappointed, I have eaten there before and enjoyed the experience.

The food is nice but the restaurant is to cold you need to keep your jacket in which is very unnecessary for me they need to warm it up

Honestly such a lovely place to eat! Firstly the service was really up to par, everyone was so lovely and kind and helpful ( I came with 3 kids) they honestly should be proud of the service they deliver. Secondly the food was just perfection, absolutely in love with how all tasted and such generous portions! Definitely worth what you pay. And lastly the atmosphere was lovely, music and when it's a birthday they sing happy birthday and it's just lovely. Honestly would recommend, a wonderful restaurant with lovely food...will definitely be going back!!

After trying to contact the restaurant on social media and then reading the message and not replying I have now took it Google after he said to leave him a review We had booked for a big group for our Christmas party on Friday and were there from about 4:30-6:30. Unfortunately, all 5 of us that shared the platter have had sickness and diarrhoea throughout the entire night and feeling extremely rough we believe we all had food poisoning from eating this , obviously this is not the kind of outcome we wanted after spending our money on a Christmas celebration! I wondered if there is any compensation you could please offer us?

This is such a crowded place, very busy in evening, but they serve best quality food and drinks. We enjoyed platter, shared between 5 and still couldn’t finish. They provided take away boxes which came handy for many of us. 🍱 I’m looking forward to visit with family.

Would give 3 and a half stars place was nice food was nice, their chicken was nicest of all their meats customer service was great. Parking was hard to find spaces in Bromley is ridiculous 8am to 8pm paid parking and not even free Sunday parking unfortunately.

All in all it was really good to be honest. The mixed platter of meat was excellent. I normally travel to North London where the platters are great and this was definitely up there too. Very nice and definitely going back.

This place is more style over substance. Smoke and smell from the Shisha lounge wafts over every time someone opens the door. Grim. Waiter didn’t know which cocktails were on the menu. Cocktails were spruced up with decorations of thyme and nasturtium flowers. Unfortunately, the thyme and nasturtium flower looked a bit past their best. Mixed hot and cold meze sharing starters were nice but only 3 of each hot item on the plates… we were a table of 4. Not fantastic as not everyone could try everything as the items were too small to cut in half. Mains were disappointing. Very small portion sizes considering it’s a Turkish themed restaurant. £18 for one 15cm long piece of kofte, rice and salad. Our total bill was £165 for 4 people. You could eat out for cheaper at The Ivy in Central London. Toilets and floors in the toilets were filthy. Glad I tried it but won’t be returning. Not worth the money.

Really lovely food, we had the plater for 4 very good selections of meat and veg. Drinks were lovely too. Feels a bit squashed but otherwise really enjoyed it here.

Nice Turkish restaurant which offers traditional Turkish food and burgers. Great lunch menu and at an even better price. They don't skimp on portions. Staff on the day had been really friendly and tried their best between the 2 of them to serve a moderately busy lunch service. They also have cocktail lounge opened for the evening. I would be happy to come again to either Smoque restaurants, as there is another in Warlingham, both equally good. The price is very similar to other Turkish restaurants but I think they give you more for your money if your buying from the normal menu.

This restaurant has never failed to amaze me! The service from the beginning was welcoming and friendly from all the staff. Mahmoud and especially Vez took the time to listen to what we were after and recommend some really good dishes that were delicious and came out hot! The drinks are amazingggg! One of the best “Smoque Tikki”. Presentation also 10 out of 10! They also have a bar area and shisha which makes this restaurant more than just a restaurant. You will have a whole experience ! :)

A real fun lively place! Food was lovely, not the highest quality but still great. Very well seasoned meat, good flavours, delightful! The portions too, HUGE! There were a few birthdays so loads of singing! Definitely worth popping there for food if you're in the area.

There’s a lot of hYpE over this place, and I get it, if you’re willing to spend A LOT of money, you’ll be happy. However, in this cosT of LiVinG CrisIs I just can’t co-sign spending 17.95 on one piece of meat, a slice of thin bread underneath, a whole lot of salad and chips. Yes it looks good. But surely for such a high price, there should be more meat provided? Because where is the rest of my money going into? The carrots? The cabbage? The pre-frozen chips? Now the meat and vegetables tasted nice, but wasn’t anything to remember. The Mac + Cheese wasn’t great, just tasted like plain pasta and cheese. However, the service was attentive and quick. So I’m sure plenty of people with MONEH will enjoy, but if you’re on a budget, I’m sure there are cheaper options elsewhere. ☺️

A very pleasant experience. Hustle and bustle in a restaurant. Great atmosphere. We left early but Vicky, was a top notch manager and helped us with our experience. Couldn’t thank her enough.

The service was wonderful. We had a last-minute decision on where to eat and came to this restaurant with 3 kids. There was something for everyone, and the staff were super amazing and accommodating.. Thank you so much to the team and specifically the kind gentlemen that ran after us to give us the eye glasses we left behind.

Our first time visit. We were impressed with the ambiance, service and friendliness of the staff. Especially Muhittin and Adem. The food was exceptional! Good portion size.

Such a nice restaurant. Strong drinks, Very tasty food and the service and atmosphere is honestly 10/10 it gets very busy so best time to go is around 5pm if you don't like crowds as it's a very open layout and there are loads of seats. They also have a really nice function room. The Lamb chops are AMAZING! Succulent, so flavourful. I'd never had chicken adana but as part of my friends mixed grill (sooo much meat and salad was really nice also. See pic) and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. I could have given the rice a miss as it wasn't basmati 😅 not a fan of long grain so will get the chips next time. The Lobster mac really is a whole meal in itself and soooo good, creamy, loads of lobster and mac cooked to perfection. I'll be going back soon.

Muhitin and Mahmoud have been the best waiters this evening. We came to celebrate my stepmother’s birthday as she enjoyed the meal, atmosphere and music. I’ve had a lovely time and we smiled the whole way through the evening. Great food and attentive staff.

Bustling place, good atmosphere ,well managed

We went to celebrate my friend's birthday last week Sunday it was a great atmosphere and the food was really tasty. Muhittin and Mahmut were great waiters. We didn't wait fir our food and drink long. They were super cool.

First time visiting. We had a birthday dinner there. We were 8 of us and one baby 1year old. My table was dirty I've started to clean myself with my baby wipes but the staff told me to change it for another table I refused. Coctails were amazing and I also ordered 1 fresh squezed orange juice for my little one wich came out with 6 ice cubes. Well it's obvious that a 1 year old doesnt drink juice with ice....I tought so...So I asked the staff please make me another one without ice. Then he went and not far from my eyes he removed the ice cubes and gave me the drink wich was still very cold. Little misunderstanding but later I' ve got another one with no ice in it. Food was excellent and can't wait to try it again. Staff are very friendly and nice. There was always someone who came to us asking if we are okay and everything is fine and it makes us feel very good as it was a very busy Saturday evening.

It was extremely busy. When we got there we had to take a seat on the sofas and eait for a table. However, 10 minutes later we were seated. Absolutely fantastic waiter names Randy. He went above and beyond for us. He helped arrange for a cake to bought out for our friends birthday. We enjoyed the atmosphere so much we were the very last to leave. We had the privilege of having a good chat with the owner and Randy waited with us until our uber came, filling us with fantastic conversation. I would go back just to have him as our waiter again.
