Smoky Pizza in Southampton

Just ordered two fifteen inch pizzas on the collection deal. Opened the box and thought these look amazing, but there's no way that's fifteen inches. Got the tape measure out and sure enough I was right. They were SIXTEEN inches. What a result!! Love this place. So excited by the pizza I forgot to take photos. Sorry.

My other half and I get Smokey’s every couple of weeks. It has become our go-to pizza place. I think you’d be challenged to find a better pizza place around, never have we had disappointing meal. The chicken side is always cooked perfectly and the pizza is always really good, not greasy and tastes great. A lot of take always locally have declined significantly over the last few months but not these guys.

There was a hair in both of our pizzas!!! I called the shop but the costumer service was not polite !

One of our go to's for pizza for many years. We asked them if they'd supply us with pizzas for our wedding reception. They had to do quite a few trips to our venue and the pizzas went down really well with all our guests. Everyone was raving about how nice they were! The staff are always friendly and helpful too.

I ordered these pizza’s for a party and everything was perfect. On time, great service, tasty pizza!

I have used this takeaway in the past and it's usually very good. However, last night I ordered just one large pizza. It took an hour to arrive and was stone cold when it finally turned up. I had to put in the oven. Will not be ordering again.

Best Pizza in Southampton! We love it so much that we have become regular customers now and we order every Saturday. There was once a problem with their webpage order and 2 completely different pizzas came. I phone them and they offered us 2 free pizzas for the next time because they could see that we were regular customers. Also the delivery is sooooo quick if you order through their webpage! Absolutely recommend! ☺️

I recently ordered through Deliveroo and before my order got accepted I phoned them up to ask a few questions. The man on the end of the phone did not listen to my questions and just repeated asked what is your order number. The order number did not matter ,as it wasn't relevant to the question I was asking. I tried to explain several different ways and he got increasingly irritated. So I told him not to worry about it, he proceeded to be rude and I said theirs no need to be like that. Then he told me to f**k off and put the phone down. I phoned back up to discuss this and he told me he was saying it to a customer in the shop. Obviously a lie, but even if that was the truth, what great service for the customer that was in the shop. I have emailed in twice to get a response, but from previous reviews I can see it is the management. Shame they had good pizzas and will not be ordering from here again.

I have ordered two pastas one with chilli and Tuna which was super oily I couldn't find any chillies at all, I found only some oil (which I think was chilli oil) and the other one I ordered was "spaghetti carbonara" and be careful because it's really funny "spaghetti Carbonara" it's actually spaghetti bolognese. When I called to ask why we received spaghetti bolognese when we ordered spaghetti carbonara they said "if you read the menu you know we do it like that with tomato sauce". I am a bit disappointed. Here's a photo of pasta with tuna and chilli (soooo much oil) but it wasn't too bad. I just think carbonara is carbonara and chilli is chilli not chilli oil.

None of this domino's crap cuts it for me anymore, after tasting smokey pizza it's my first choice every time. The choices off pizza are incredible, there's so many healthy and variable toppings, as well as creating your own. The team are always lovely and it's cooked and delivered so quickly. Best place in soton - doesn't even taste like a takeout

We have ordered from Smokey Pizza twice recently after seeing they offer a vegan pizza. My husband, not vegan and a HUGE pizza lover, thinks this is the best pizza and will not order from the 2 big pizza chains ever again! The delivery is always very quick and the pricing and variety on the menu is good. My husband says the toppings are always fresh and good quality and the base is thin and how a proper pizza base should be made. He also loves the breaded chicken strips side dish! My vegan pizza has always been great, I'm unsure what 'cheese' substitute they use but its lovely and again the vegetable toppings always seem fresh and good quality. We are really glad we gave this place a try and will not go back to the bigger pizza delivery chains! Highly recommend Smokey Pizza!

Avoid!! Incredibly rude & awful customer service. Waited over an hour for the pizza that never arrived! Claim they rang my mobile & come to my address. After calling with them to inquire to where the pizza was & was it coming from Italy that they then told us they tried to deliver. They never tried to deliver as i would have answered the door!! After nothing but positive reviews we thought we would give it ago, but I wont be giving my money to a buisness that are as rude as the manager was.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It could be easily missed when you walk past because it’s nestled between a few bars but it’s fantastic and you won’t be able to stay away once you’ve tried it. The staff are incredibly friendly and they have an extensive menu. They make the pizza freshly in front of you in a stone baked oven, and it’s perfect every time! Personal favourites are the sweet chilli pizza and the margarita with chilli and aubergine. You can get two pizza’s for 12.99 which makes this place a bargain!

What a great little gem in Southampton, we came to visit Peppa Pig world and stayed in Southampton, arrived here and the staff all seemed Italian - Great start, to have an Italian making our food. We ordered a vegetarian pizza and a vegetarian lasagne, both tasted great, reasonable price, we were very impressed and left a tip too. When we went to pay with card unfortunately they didn't accept it, BUTTT they said there is cash point next door and not to worry, eat first and pay later, however I cannot eat until I've paid so I went and got the money and paid- My wife was also very impressed about their attitude - totally accommodating and it was all about customer service- we got service with a smile and we said we need on of these in Nottingham. WELL DONE EVERYONE- GREAT PLACE! If we are back in S'hampton we will definitely come back!

I love Smokey's pizza. This is more of a traditional, thin based Italian style then your typical deep pan pie fare served up at many places. I order from here regularly and it's always delivered promptly and piping hot. The Mrs loves the chicken wings which she says are amazing!

Buena comida, buena variedad, los platos de pasta en la entrega son una alegría! La lasaña es mi favorita y mi pareja ama el pollo penne y las albóndigas. Bueno en el teléfono, buena comida, buenos precios, buena entrega. Un poco de dolor es efectivo solo en la entrega, pero vale la pena.

Tuvo un banquete de carne. Olía realmente raro y desagradable. Los aderezos en su mayoría probado bien (no es genial, simplemente está bien) pero la base estaba mal hecha, prácticamente solo masa. Después de probar una porción, terminé poniéndola en mi horno para terminarla, lo que la hizo apenas comestible pero aún tenía ese olor extraño. Nunca me ha gustado una pizza, eso seguro - y nunca más.

Smokey's has a fantastic selection of pizzas, and their prices are approximately comparable to some of the larger chains in the area. I would definitely recommend it!

Siempre busco una buena pizza y estaba enterado de humo Pizza de TA. Tenía dos 9 pulgadas por £9.99 pizzas Uno era y otros sus Atomica Giardino. Primero las buenas noticias. Cocinadas en horno de leña; coberturas sabroso y de buena calidad. Las malas noticias 'poco hecha en horno de leña! Yo le daría a este lugar otra prueba e insistir que 'quemar' mi pizza la próxima vez. Probablemente un 4/5 si la pizza era completamente cocinado. No hay buena pastoso bottoms me temo.

It looks a bit rough and ready from the outside but these guys do great pizzas. Thin bases, all pizzas made to order. A good range. Much better than the big chains. They do delivery. Cheap.

Las pizzas aquí son increíbles! Gran selección de coberturas y no como grasa como otra cadena comida para llevar. Not a great experience. Arrived 20 mins after requested time. Pizza looks to have been sat around quite a while so has gone completely dry, it wasn't even particularly hot - in fact if it wasn't for the fact that I am starving I would have driven round there and dropped it on there floor demanding a refund...example photos have been taken in case of any responses.Another example of just how dry it was, is that a slice of pizza will support its own weight held from the crust..

Good honest pizza, unlike the high street chains it's not greasy and tastes great. Good value for money and traditional stone oven cooked, give it a go!

Pizza was really tasty and much better value for money than other big pizza chains. They have a really interesting set menu and ingredient list - it's nice to see something a bit different. One thing of note to be aware of - they can't accept card payments, but there is the track garage just round the corner with a cash point.

My wife and I have stayed clear of pizza as they are so greasy and oily from the main chains. After having a feedback from a friend we plumped for a pizza from here and we're not disappointed. Tasty flavours, good pizza dough and speedy service. Definitely will try again

Totally passionate about what they do. Always fantasic. Eat in or take away. They will also do do half and half toppings. Other dishes available such as lasagne + veggie option

I was craving some fresh pomegranate and when I saw the pomegranate pizza on the menu, I thought it sounded great. Delivery was quite fast( we live near the pizza place) and the pizza was edible. Even though the pizza only came with pomegranate sauce and not actual pomegranate, there was absolutely no pomegranate taste at all. There also weren't many walnuts or much chicken on the pizza. All in all, the pizzas weren't too bad, but I am disappointed that a self-named pomegranate pizza had no taste of pomegranate.

Really good range of different pizzas which of the ones I have tried were excellent. This has now become my go to pizza place. Much better taste and value than places like dominoes.

Having seen this place in passing quite a few times, last night we decided to give it a try. The flavours seemed interesting and phoned up to order one 12" and one 15" for collection... But we're told it would be much cheaper if we got two 15" pizzas instead! What great customer service! The pizzas were huge and we saved a quarter of each for lunch today- at which time they reheated perfectly in the microwave which was unusual. The service was quick, food was hot and dough much better than the usual chain takeaway pizza. I had the pomegranate chicken and it was genuinely the best flavour combo I've ever tried on a pizza... A thin (not sickly) base of bbq/pomegranate sauce, with cheese, chicken, pineapple and walnuts. Stone baked and a nice treat... You won't regret trying this!

Smoky pizza offers a wide range of different pizzas, and other hot snacks are also available. It is also pretty good value for money.

We ordered two pizzas - a Pepperoni Passion and one we personalised - with spicy meatballs, mushrooms, onion and jalapeños. First of all, the sauce was barely there at all! We didn't get much of a tomato hit when we bit into it, and even worse, it was smothered with cheese that, quite literally, dripped with grease so much so that it soaked through the cardboard! Didn't look like they used the wood fire oven on it either - I can't judge that though as I'm not certain. The wedges were quite tasty, though, the only decent thing about the meal. We would certainly not go back again!! And to think we ordered this over Domino's..

I ordered a couple of pizzas from here as this place seemed different and the wood oven element. Big mistake! The pizzas were edible but quite tasteless. There was barely any sauce on it which they seem to specialise in and whatever sauce there was had dried up, probably because they delivered the pizzas one and a half hours after I ordered them!!! Totally appalled with that considering Dominoes pizzas are delicious and I get them within 20 minutes. I will not be ordering from this place again.

These Pizza's are cooked in a fire wood oven and taste great! You can either order take away or eat in. The staff are really friendly and we enjoyed the pizzas we ordered, there is so much selection. We will be back again and again.

the thing that sets this place apart is the difference in variety from what you would ordinarily order from a pizza place - i for one had never considered the possibility of a pomegranate chicken pizza - and it consistently delivers excellent quality.
