Smokehouse in Camden

Went on a Monday morning at 11. Offhand staff, poor offering of sandwiches, only egg. Worst of all, tables sticky and litter lying around, overflowing bin. No recycling bins. Extremely poor for such a flagship, beautiful park.

We stopped here for lunch during a walk. Located within the park, with a seating area outside the restaurant. The food was quite nice but it was expensive, probably due to being a touristy area.

We wanted to sit by the lake and have a quick snack before carrying on with our lovely walk in this beautiful park. Ihad a cheese toastie and a chai latte.

Staff talk among themselves while the customer has to order overpriced simple snacks and ice cream through an app. When food arrives it’s not worth the effort/wait.

Lugar es más de 3. 5 estrellas. Está situado en el medio de Regent's Park. Lugar tiene muchos asientos al aire libre que es agradable cuando es cálido y el sol. Pedí una hamburguesa y era bastante bueno. No era enorme, pero no me llenan después de un día de paseos por el zoo de Londres y Regent's Park. No creo que todo sea más caro que el zoo de cualquier. El personal era amable. Se pide dentro, conseguir un número, sentarse, y su pedido le encontrará. Ofrecen hamburguesas, bebidas, aperitivos, café y té. Es un bonito lugar para un almuerzo rápido o tentempié. Tienen un cuarto de baño situado fuera, lo cual es agradable.

Having visited Regents Park in torrential rain this place provided welcome shelter and food. Pulled pork was just right and some of our party spoke favourably about Portobello Mushroom burgers and Veg chilli. Service was also very courteous.

Popped in off spec whilst in Regent's Park and was fairly impressed. For £26 got two freshly cooked burgers, two skin in fries, onion rings and two cokes. Order at the bar with your table number and it'll get delivered to you. Nice was to finish up a walk in the park particularly as the weather was good and we were able to sit outside. Really nice too that the burgers were not stacked too high that eating them was impossible. The place has a licence so you can have a beer too. If I were to be picky, the onion rings could have been hotter and were not cooked fresh.

No chips, no coleslaw salad an absolute disgrace. How can anyone pay £40 for such tasteless rubbish.

Very disappointing snake during a walk in the park. My cappuccino was watery, and both the muffin we had were clearly left over from a day or 2 ago. Not much chance of us going back, despite living only half a mile away.

Skulle nog rekommendera att äta innan ni hår in i parken. För det här var inte så bra. Mycket strul med beställningen och maten var sådär.

Bel locale posto in mezzo al parco, quindi ottimo per una bella sosta dopo una lunga passeggiata. Abbiamo pranzato con birra e panini e devo dire che ci hanno soddisfatti. Peccato che i prezzi risultano un po`alti.

Food quality was very low. I ate the burger and was almost inedible! My girfriend ordered a hot dog and was completely burnt and, as you can imagine, disgusting.

Lovely lovely lovely.beautiful honemade chilli and a gorgeous gilden beetroot salad.regents park is so beautiful especially when the sun is shining ...we might not have found this lovely smokehouse otherwise.

Visited here at the start of April and my friend and myself actually really enjoyed it. We were on our way back from the zoo and we came across it. Bit overpriced for what it was but we enjoyed it. Food was decent but service a little bit slow. Staff were really nice though.

Très déçue par le burger dont la viande était marron bouillie avec un goût de fumée (steak hache surgelé?). Très bonnes frites heureusement. Bon cidre. Toilettes mal entretenues. Cadre très agréable au soleil

Am surprised by the negative reviews. We loved it. Serve was quick and friendly, and the burgers and fries were just the job - nice and tasty. Prices were fine, considering this is a top tourist area.

Food was disgusting and pretty much inedible, although coffee and branded soft drinks were acceptable. The lack of sanitized toilet facilities were a shock to civilised people. Do not recommend.

This place is a disgrace to the Royal Parks. As a Londoner it embarrasses me that such rubbish is being served to tourists. And it's run by benugo who are a respectable chain.My small overcooked burger had a cold bun (probably defrosted). I see that happned to another reviewer. The nachos with chili bean were all nachos and no chili bean. Heineken (the only beer) was £3 for a half pint in a plastic glass. Go to the more expensive cafe on the inner circle.

Definitely one of the worst burgers I've had. £6.50 and not worth it. Meat was low quality tasted like cardboard. The brioche bun was old and stale. The bun was soft on the outside and hard on the inside. Like it had been in the freezer and defrosted in the microwave and become super hard in the middle in the process. I almost asked for my money back which would be a first for me. Stick to the beer. Service was friendly.

Great location in the park, reasonable food, average service, not the best prices. Stopped here for lunch just before visiting the zoo. Pulled pork burger was probably the best item we ordered. Standard hot dog was disappointing. Cumberland hot dog was surprisingly lacking flavour - they need to choose better ingredients. Fine to fuel up before visiting the zoo but otherwise we probably wouldn't go out of our way to visit.

Plenty of seats and sitting there in the park was lovely. For where it is price was good and the food came fast and tasted great

Nice and friendly service, ther's free water to drink. It's a bit expensive 21£ for burger with fries and cesar salat w. Beerbattered onionrings and 2 cans of soda.

This place, in the middle of Regents Park, has had many different guises over the years, maybe due to the transient nature of its customers. This current incarnation is an OK stop off during a walk through the park. There is lots of outdoor seating but it can get very busy during the warmer months. I've eaten lunch there once and it was perfectly fine, although slightly pricey.The coffee is usually good and it has water bowls outside for thirsty dogs.

Kids hotdog was half a hotdog and was extortionate at £4 considering the portion size. Seriously just felt ripped off afterwards and didn't enjoy it from that point. Burger was not great and pulled pork burger was dry and not great. Fries were ok but you can't really get them wrong eh? I don't bother complaining these days, I just ensure family and friends avoid bad establishments such as this.

Indecisive of what to chose, blonde guy serving us was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a nice iced coffee and rose on a sunny day

Ordered two burgers and due to the open kitchen layout, witnessed one of the cooks handling cooked and raw meat without gloves/washing hands. Asked him to remake two burgers which he continued to challenge. Eventually two new burgers were made (which tasted fine) but in the meantime he used the two rejected burgers for other customers. Disappointing.

During a drizzly walk with our dog in Regents Park we came across the Smokehouse. I ordered the standard burger and my husband the pulled pork, both very tasty and great value for money.

We attended a meetup of Boston Terrier owners, starting a walk from the Powerhouse. Nice October weather, and plenty of outside seating. There was a small inside area for diners, and bar seating.The food preparation area was visible, and staff and conditions did seem clean and orderly. We just had a large latte and equally large muffin. The coffee was as good as any I have had elsewhere, and the price quite reasonable.The staff were pleasant and smartly dressed. Very welcoming.

Visited this weekend with friends. The location is superb and the staff friendly but the establishment is let down by tiny portions at sky high prices. 11 Quid got me the tiniest lulled pork burger and a pint of lager.

Os atendentes teve uma atitude terrível, nada agradável...todos os clientes estavam esperando na fila errada...porque seus sinais não eram claras. os clientes foram esculachados...o banheiro era muito sujo!!! Não recomendo a ninguém...

looked promising after a hard bike ride. food ready almost immediately but wings that were lukewarm, and tasteless with a large dollop of bbq sauce slapped on top, coleslaw in a small tub that was limp and tasted of nothing, friends had burger again which was poor and offered no enjoyment. I ordered a shandy and was asked to pay for a can of lemonade in addition to the beer as they had nothing on tap or bottled to add. £12.50 in total for something truly awful. Really disappointed with this experience in one of our top parks. Management need to look at what they are providing

My 6 year old and I popped in for a well deserved drink (beer for me and coke for him!) on our stroll from London Zoo to Regents Park tube. Friendly staff, clean environment and pleasant loos. Just what we needed!

BBQ is a bit of a hobby for me, so friends suggested we checked out Smokehouse when we went to see a show at the Park theatre.Most of our party went to the indoors counter, but I decided to try food off of the grill.Basically, they were not doing BBQ here. They were using a grill to reheat precooked sausages, and not doing a very good job of that. My "cumberland hot dog" was cold in the centre.Horrible food, and I would say a health hazard to boot.

This restaurant looked promising, as it was named 'smokehouse' I expected good quality food, instead it was tasteless, poor quality and served in stale bread! Nearly £20 including the meal deal discount the whole experience left a nasty taste in my mouth. Don't be fooled by the nice benches as this is the only thing that this eatery has going for it!

Awful service from disinterested staff ,chicken wings awful,five tiny lukewarm wings for £6 ,cheap bbq sauce ,nachos cold and limp .Management should be ashamed .

Living near Regents Park and a huge fan of BBQ food, I was excited to visit the restaurant which had taken over from the Humble Sausage. There's a huge smoke stack out the back which promised good things.Husband: hamburger and coleslaw. Supermarket frozen, thin burger in brioche. Come on! Slaw was tiny and tasted bad. They exchanged it for some decent fries. Burger had a nice smoky flavour at least.Me: bbq wings and Greek salad. Wings were in an ok sauce but not very hot in flavour or temperature. Salad used the cheapest ingredients and included watermelon. I went back to ask for some dressing, they'd forgotten to put any on. Huge disappointment. Good place to stop for a beer. Benugo says this is a place to stop for burger and ribs. Ribs aren't even on the menu.

staff had a terrible attitude, all customers were waiting in the wrong queue to order because their signs were not clear. bathroom was disgusting!

fantastic location, great fries, good salt beef, but the burgers lacked inspiration and the ribs weren't there... The meal deals were hard to communicate with a foreign girl on the till. The waiting staff did a good job. This is an opportunity wasted. They must try harder
