Really tasty fish. Freshly cooked and with crispy batter.. sometimes the chips can taste a bit stale, depends what time you go there.

Only been under new ownership for a few weeks and this evening was my second visit, the first visit was fine and gave me great expectations that the new owners would maintain the standards set by provirus owners but alas tonight’s offering was somewhat poor . Although the fish was OK the chips were inedible and had a twang to them perhaps old oil or old chips. Apart from that it was like Casey’s court with shouting from the owners son giving me a headache from the eight people behind the jump. The son was also somewhat rude to younger members of staff which did not sit well with me. All in all a disappointment .

Great service, always greeted with a smile, Chips are superb, really first class, this is because their oil is ALWAYS clean. good lunch time deals are available fish is cooked to order so nice and fresh. Thanks for the great food!

Delicious fish with the choice of Haddock, Cod, Hake and Plaice and great chips. No fatty or soggy food here, just fresh and cooked to order.

Ab Fab fish and chips, simply delicious! Has to be a shout out, GLUTEN-FREE batter available to order! Had gluten free plaice, was the best. All the chips were very good and fish perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed, thank you👍 Small Fry are also supplying school age aged children with free meals, excluding drinks, water is free from a tap.😉

Rarely do you get takeaway fish and chips that are crispy when you eat them. My fish and chips from Small Fry was delicious, the fish batter was just the right thickness, lovely and crisp with fresh fish within, and the chips were properly cooked, plentiful and hot.

Very good fish staff so miserable not the owner he’s great female behind the counter should find another job rude never smile really blunt to customers will go bk when she’s gone would have 5 stars if not for the young girl who really needs to get some customer relations training

Came tonight as this is usually the best chippy around the area and never greasy. Well tonight i was not impressed the chips went in the bin tasted old. The young girl behind the counter looked like she didn't want to be there didn't want to make any type of conversation. Hopefully this was just a bad day for them as its usually ok.

Delicious fish & chips with crispy non greasy gluten free batter at 20 pence extra per gluten free item. The chips are delicious & the fish is of a large portion. The staff are friendly & accommodating. I am so pleased I can now enjoy gluten free batter fish & chips, thank you 👍👍👌

Was happy with my order from small fry. Food was tasty, service quick and staff friendly. I was really impressed with the fact the can provide fish in a gluten free batter, which was light.
