Burgers were very nice. Chicken was soooo salty, extra hot means extra salt which ruined it, would have been good wings. They also didn’t deliver part of what we ordered, missed 2 double cheeseburgers.

How disappointing! Person taking the order on the phone had no clue what was going on, confirmed the order twice on the phone and still managed to get it wrong. Asked for HMC certification since they said they were halal. Got a response of “we have it somewhere just don’t know where it is” Surely as a business it should be displayed with a proper halal sign for customers to see? Disappointing food and service overall.

use to be one of the best take aways on new hall lane don't know what's changed but chips where cold when they arrived I only live down the rd didn't listen to notes and my burger wasn't as good as it usually is overall rather disappointed skin on chicken burger was always full of flavour and lovely and crispy even with the sauce such a disappointment

A truly sad affair. This overpriced place is essentially a glorified McDonald’s, but with arguably worse taste and for twice the money spent. Thin, tasteless chips were somewhat helped by the sprinkles of peri peri salt that was added to them (for an additional 25p of course). The double cheeseburger (priced at £5) reminded me of those birthdays and Christmas’ where you receive a gift from the worst gift giver of the family. You know that it is most likely going to be terrible, however you pray that this is the year they get it right. I admittedly wasn’t expecting much after tasting the chips, but I still had a faint glimmer of hope that a burger establishment may be able to produce a good quality burger. How foolish of me. Upon revealing the burger from the takeaway bag, I was utterly dismayed by the size of the item displayed before me. In this moment I felt like I truly could relate to the disappointment women feel when they first lay eyes upon their less endowed new partners. A team of astronomers each armed with the world’s strongest telescope would have struggled to locate the burger if placed in front of them. It was preposterously small. Minute. They should rename it the particle burger from this day forward. I am hungrier after eating it than I was prior. Maybe I could forgive this insult if the burger had any real flavour to it. But alas, the only thing I could taste was the diced onions and cheap summer BBQ standard bread. The only positive thing I can say about this establishment is that located on New Hall Lane, it is a perfect match for the quality of clientele it will receive on a regular basis.

This takeway is quite bad. I ended up trying it because the quality looked great. But the burgers were nothing special and rather below average. The chips were a 1/10, thin, hard, chewy and have a weird taste. They don't even give free sauce, and the sauce they give for 30p is so bad and so small. Will never go there again, if you're thinking of trying it, don't waste your money. The only positive I can think of is that at least its edible and doesn't give you food poisoning.

The smack down burger is beautiful, melts in your mouth and just cannot get enough! The sauces and seasonings are top tier, compliments it really well. The milkshakes are so delicious even better than McDonald’s! The only downside is the fries aren’t too great as they can be quite hard. Would recommend cooking less or getting a thicker fry! but are decent portion! As the partner says “damn them flipping burgers are good” ! Well done smacks 🙂

I'm obsessed with smash burgers since coming here, I cant have a burger now unless its a smash burger , the burgers are all 100% only complaint is that I asked for the kids chicken nugget meal and all it is is 3nuggets in a paper bag that is it ! And the kids meals are around 6 quid so I'm guessing they had to have made a mistake there. They never go wrong with the burgers though, prices of the burgers not bad for what you get, and friendly polite staff place is always clean, can see them cooking in the back.

The burgers are really good and decent prices, I would go here again the only complaint I have is that I paid 6 quid roughly for a kids chicken nugget meal only to find out when I got home that this so called Kids chicken nugget meal consisted of 3 chicken nuggets in a little paper bag. I'm guessing it had to be some mistake so il give them benefit of the doubt but I also know you dont even get a toy or anything with the kids meal when I asked about it, so for kids this place is probably a bit meh but the burgers make up for it imo

Your burgers normally have a good char and are juicy, today the burger had a weird smell…old meat? On the positive side your delivery was quick and fast as always

Really good customer service. Had a large order and we had kids with us. The guy behind the counter was very good and gave the kids some ice cream with our permission to keep them busy. Went back again to collect the food and this time greeted by another staff member who was energetic and cheerful. Good to see. Makes a difference.

Visited a year ago for the Food Review club visit and the burgers for the reviewers were amazing but since then the burgers just haven't been as fun, kind of wished they'd kept the reviewer burgers on the menu as now its kind of plain. Still tasty... just not as fun.

Everything was perfect as always. Fresh, hot and tasty!

I apologise if my review offends anyone who likes this place, but it is based on my experience, and it wasn't good. It started well as we got into the shop, and the guys behind the counter waited as my wife and I looked at the menu. Anyway, we decided what we wanted and gave the order to the gentleman only to be told certain selections were not available, so we chose different items and then the option for our drinks got challenging too as from a selection of 6 drinks turned into 2 and neither would have been a choice for us but we continued with the order. My wife does not do salad or sauce so we made this clear to the gent and double checked they knew we wanted her burger plain and they pointed out that it said just that on our receipt and they would prepare it that way, thank you. When our meals were served, we said thanks and made our way out of the shop where we were greeted by a cat chasing a rat outside the door and the rat was as big as the cat 🐈 tbh it was not something you would expect so we jumped into the car and made our way home to enjoy our meals. This was not the case for my wife as when she opened her burger wrapper to a full salad and sauce selection all over her burger, we got a little angry as we got assured that this wouldn't happen so I called the takeaway and asked if they could send us a replacement so the other meal didn't go cold but to our surprise they did not offer us any sort of rectification if we didn't go back to the shop for the replacement burger. After telling them that I would return both meals when I got there so we could enjoy a hot meal together, we got totally refused and were not willing to help in any way. This takeaway will never receive a penny from ourselves, our families and friends ever again. My meal alone cost £13 and the wife's £12 And the burgers were the size of a 99p saver burger at mcdonald's with the fries 🍟 being that size too. I would advise you to avoid disappointment and hunger if you are looking to eat here.

Genuinely disgusting, they gave us the wrong wings on Uber eats, the wings barely had any sauce on them, and they were fully burnt, like coal. Would the owner feed his family the food he makes? They haven’t even picked up the phone when we called.

Just thought I would let everyone know what the level of customer service is like at the take away. 1st of all I’ve been using this takeaway for quite a while now spending a fortune every week, at the start the food was fantastic with no issues, then over the past month or 2 they started to get my orders wrong on quite a few occasions but I let it go as mistakes can happen. Then the best bit I ordered some food and they got every item wrong on the order after spending £27 on 1 order I phoned them they blamed the deliver driver for picking up the wrong bag however what are the chances of someone else ordering the exact same items as me even down to the specific sauces!! Upon me calling the takeaway the person who answered the phone gave me 2 different names to who I was speaking to and said just come in to the takeaway and we will replace the order.i went into the takeaway the next day and they refused to keep to the word and replace the order even tho I brought everything back. Safe to say I will not be using them again and they have lost a very good customer due to their poor customer service and lack of professionalism,
