Tables but no table service except via an app that didnt work. Lots of draft beers that should be available but for unexplained reason couldnt be ordered. On the positive, comfortable seats, but music too loud.

Didn't have food, service was good, however no draught beer. Which is not good , and overheard another customer, saying the same thing happened last weekend too. That's basic bar service, so hopefully the gas issue was the actual issue, and got resolved quickly.

Met host Louis as we arrived dressed as Batman & Maleficent and we were recognised from last year too, Louis loved our costumes so much he arranged for us to get pictures taken in the photo booth had a drink and never had food but from what we seen the dishes looked wonderful so will try next time but must say all staff were wonderful and really friendly this is a great way that helps customers return and we ceraltainly will be returning

Absolutely lovely service from Eve she was so attentive and so nice ensuring we had the best time. She even recognised us when we returned and asked us about our show we had just seen. Lovely!

This was dire. Sticky tables. No toilet roll. Slow service. My scampi and chips was *fine*.. Fine being when your partner says they are fine and you know they are not. My friends fish and chips was more batter than fish and he felt pretty ill after. It was like the fish was battered and fried x3. A fairly dismal experience. Especially when you are paying around £15 for fish n chips. Would not return. Edinburgh is on the world map for food. What was I thinking 🤔

We have booked the table for the friday, however when we arroved very, very rude witer told us that we do not have the reservation although we have showed him the confirmation. He had no problem with lying into our faces. There was something free tables, we even took something pictures of them. The waiter like to loose money for the company. Their lost, Boom facility wins. They do not want to have customers.

Waited a while in queue discuss seating with my small dog in my arms, got to front of queue and was told it would not be appropriate to have a dog inside because the staff believed it was too busy, even though more than half of the place was empty. Unclear if it was a preconception with me and my wife, or with my dog, but the place is marketed as dog friendly. Will not be returning and will suggest they remove "pet friendly" signs because they are certainly not!

The staff were very friendly and kind, the food was amazing as always and we were served by a lovely waitress named Erika.

Nipped in for a few cocktails with friends. Hannah and Meggys service was excellent, made us feel extremely welcomed. Cocktails were also amazing. Great quality for money.

We came for breakfast this morning and the service was fabulous. We had a server called Hanny (we think she was the manager as she made a joke about wearing a hoody) and nothing was too much trouble for her, she checked in on us when we got our meals and offered to get us more drinks. Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm welcomes from both Hanny and the guy behind the bar (Ryan). What an amazing start to our day, thank you S&L omni!

The staff here are 100% Arrived early for our booking but was not problem for the guy (Stu) welcoming everyone. Drinks were made quickly, the atmosphere was just what you want for beginning a Saturday night out. Stu was awesome and so friendly, nothing was a bother for him. Food was great, drinks were amazing as always. Special shout for cocktails!! Dont forget the omni center for slug and lettuce as the staff are fab 💜 Big shout out for Stu from the girl who needed to pee and the guy in the purple shirt who loved the pineapple glasses!!!!

I was a bit disappointed with the evening menu as most of the food on the menu was not available so there were very limited choices. The food we did have was nice but the choices were very limited.

We had a lovely server however the food was not the best, somebody in our party ordered a chicken and avocado wrap and to their surprise when they bit into to it they felt hard pieces of visually black avocado. Disgusting to be honest. Food apart from that was alright, nothing special. We would have told our server about the slightly disguisting suprise in the wrap but they didn’t come and check on our food and looked very busy so didn’t want to bother them. Would go else where.

After trailing around most of Edinburgh trying to find restaurants who do gluten free food, we find ourselves in Slug and Lettuce. My friend and I visited on 7 August, she is coeliac and they have a great gluten free menu which she was delighted with. We had the burger deal excellent. Thanks to Stuart for all his assistance with the menu he certainly had a good knowledge of the risks gluten free . Will definitely visit again when visiting.

Disgusted and extremely disappointed with our recent visit to the Slug and Lettuce Omni Cenre Edinburgh which completely ruined my daughter’s 21st Birthday. A few weeks ago we visited Edinburgh to find a suitable restaurant for my daughter who has learning disability to celebrate her 21st Birthday with ourselves and three friends aged 20,21 & 21 all of which have varying degrees of learning disabilities. We decided the Slug and Lettuce had a nice menu and looked quite fancy and would make a lovely outing for the party. We booked a table at 6pm on Saturday 20th July and planned to go to the cinema afterwards so would be leaving the restaurant by 7:15pm. We noted we needed ID and made sure we had this with us when we set off. We arrived in Edinburgh at 12pm and dropped off a 21st Birthday cake which also had a candle in the shape of 21. When we arrived at 6pm we were received by a very unwelcoming waiter/manager who said we would need to show ID immediately. He would not even show us to our table before this was done in the middle of the crowded restaurant. We had four ID’s with us although one had been left in the car. We offered to go and retrieve this but when this very abrupt man found my daughter’s young Scot ID did not have a hologram on it he said there was no point getting the missing one from the car as we could not stay. I have never been asked for this hologram in the last 3 years of using this card. We advised him this had been booked for weeks and we were celebrating our daughter’s 21st birthday and would not be staying long as we had the cinema booked. He advised us we were best to leave as we would have to leave the restaurant by 7pm anyway. We advised him we would rather stay as we had nothing else booked and if we could be served quickly then we would leave by 7pm. We were shown to our table at 6:10pm and tried to use the app to order . Despite trying three different phones we could not get the app to load and decided to order at the bar. At 6:20 when we were standing trying to order at the bar the same man found us again and advised us the wait for food was a minimum of 20 minutes and so we could not possibly have our food and eat it before he would force us to leave. He suggested we should just leave instead of trying to order. Sadly we felt there was no choice other than to pack up and leave meaning my daughter who was proudly wearing her 21st Birthday badge had no birthday meal and we left admits many tears from the young people we had with us. We retrieved the cake and headed for the cinema, not at all the celebration we had planned. We feel that there was definitely a degree of disability discrimination going on and the waiter/manager did not want a party like ours to be seen at this establishment. My daughter was the only one without the acceptable hologram on her ID and she cannot drink due to a medical condition. None of us were planning to drink alcohol anyway as this was an escorted group of young people with learning difficulties. Surely common sense would prevail and no one could imagine that three adults in their 50-60s would pull off such an elaborate stunt with 21st cake and badges to get 4 young people into a drinking establishment when they were not even planning to drink. This appears to be a perfect example of petty minded bureaucracy at its best. If I had taken the time to read the poor reviews before booking I would have saved my daughter all the upset on her special day and gone elsewhere.

Eve served our table for 4! It was for our friends birthday food and drinks she was very friendly and super helpful made our friends birthday extra special!

The wait for service was a bit long but this was due to it being so busy. This was mainly redeemed by me and my partner having lovely server named Erika who was amazing to us from start to finish.

My group had booked the normal ‘boozy brunch’ (I’ve checked the confirmation email) but when we got there, we saw they’d set our table for the themed brunch (even though the website didn’t say it was on that day). We asked our server if that would cost extra and got told no, and the server gave us a normal receipt at the end. All was fine. But then another person came and brought us a new receipt, saying that actually we had to pay extra for taking part in the themed brunch. We tried to explain that we hadn’t booked it and specifically asked beforehand, but kept getting shut down and simply told the original server never should’ve told us it wasn’t extra. It was fine and fun, but the situation was handled poorly and rudely.

Had our usual drinks with friends at the Slug , as per usual we were well looked after by the staff who thankfully put up with our attempt at banter ! The service was really good and was easy to order via the app .. Looking forward to having a wee shot of the photo booth next time ..

The drinks are fine but the tables are sticky and have clearly not been cleaned as the staff are too busy putting up flag decorations all 5 members of staff that is not bothering to clean the tables or floors( there was dirty tissue on the floor by the table next to us not one member of staff cleared it away it just stayed there the entire time 🤢) the place wasn’t busy maybe about 7 customers in total so I struggle to understand why they couldn’t clean, had to use the menus to lean on as the tables were far too sticky to do so! Please clean your establishment it’s not hard when you are clearly not busy and you might actually get customers as this is what is probably putting them off!

Very let down with this place all tables are sticky and the 5 staff members are to busy playing with decorations to clean poor show management need to get the staff sorted and get them doing their job. It doesn't take long to clean especially when you have hardly any customers in at the moment and 5 staff members doing absolutely nothing apart from singing and playing with pride flags

Arrived 110pm, for pre booked table 115pm. Food and drink order taken 130pm, despite asking twice. Waited 58 mins for food, despite asling twice. Screen on wall shows staff how long people have been waiting for food. Asked to leave 3pm as table needed for next booking !

6 in the party orderd food to be told several things were not available only to see a couple of different tables who arrived after we order get some of the not available food. Meals all came at different times 2 were finished before other 4 got. Also ordered gluten free option came with a gluten bun. Won't be back.

Had a booking for food, were told there was only one chef and it was his last day so lots out of stock - which was no problem, we ordered from their limited menu. The lovely member of staff serving us couldn’t have been more apologetic, although seemed on the verge of tears a number of times and extremely stressed. They explained they had been routinely shouted at by customers over the course of the week and were exceptionally overworked. There seemed to be one other member of staff manning the bar and a manager who attended our table once the food arrived (over an hour after ordering it). He completely undid all of the lovely customer service prior with his exceptionally rude and abrupt demeanour as we were told an item we had ordered was actually out of stock. This was fine, but would have been better to know an hour before. Instead this was substituted by dry, presumably thrice microwaved chicken skewers, and we were told we would have a whole £15 taken off our total bill (for a party of 5). At no point did we complain towards the member of staff serving us, however, the manager on duty was both rude to customers and appeared unhelpful towards his staff in the time we spent there. Avoid if you want edible food that is what you ordered in a timely manner, and to alleviate the stress levels of the poor members of staff!

Took 40 mins to be served food ordered on app. Another 20 mins to get our drinks. We asked 3 times for our table to be wiped, as we were sticking to it! Food was mediocre - drinks ok Then the manager asked us to leave as we’d come to the end of our booked time!! Had we been served in an appropriate timeframe we’d have finished in plenty time. As it was, we had to leave our drinks. That’s the 3rd time in the last year we’ve been really disappointed, and we won’t be back for a 4th time!!!!
