Nice place. Good value as all nando's.

I was surprised by the staff, and that you have to order online or at the bar. The food we ordered was good, although a little pricey.

The meal was delicious! The service staff is great! ! 👍👍

We been eating to this restaurant so many times with my family this is the first time we eat here maybe our last too. We asked for a spoon so we can eat properly they said we can wait for 2 minutes after 15 minutes we asked again the manager said they dont have spoons we asked if they have disposable one but still dont have. We didn’t enjoyed eating the food. We use fork just to eat the spicy rice. And that time not to much people were eating so how can a restaurant dont have a spoon. Really Disappointed.

The workers and service were overall quite good, and the actual food was good too. My only complaints are that my halloumi sticks were quite rubbery, although in other Nando's restaurants I have really enjoyed them. Also, my peri-salted chips were quite oversalted but still tasted good. Other than that, I enjoyed my meal.

I came on vacation , and this was my first time here. The service was excellent, I would specifically thanks Luke for his kindness and his service. I highly recommend coming here. Thanks you for everything 🙏🏼

The staff were lovely, but the assistant manager named Logan he was so rude to me and my friends. Then when my friends order 1/2 chicken with "chips" and macaroni for the sides he refused? Well didn't refuse he said she never said it when I know for a fact she did say it. As she always gets that specific order, Then made her pay the 6f for just the macaroni when the order should have been roughly 16£ she payed 22£. I just find this so disrespectful, I also phoned the place not long after we got there then they were also EXTREMELY rude over the phone. To the manager named logan I hope you find some self respect and find something better to do in your life rather than being a manager at Nando's.

Amazing chicken, the atmosphere was amazing

Well maintained nandos with really polite and attentive staff , food was cooked great ! All sauces were full, and it wasn't overcrowded. Great place to grab a bite if you like chicken!

Today I went to Nados omg my chicken was pink me and my friend feel very sickly check ur chicken on arrival 🤮worst one I’ve been to yet !!!

The staff were absolutely lovely and the food was super fresh and so well cooked. They fitted us in at a busy time and explained everything, not rushing us and checked on us after the food arrived. Not going to lie I haven't been a fan of Nandos in the past but prices are competitive now for Edinburgh (maybe not for drinks but definitely for food). We will be back and can't wait! We didn't come across the female manager but from recent reviews I do think Nandos should look into this instead of saying it won't happen again when it clearly has. I have been a hospitality manager in the past and I would be incredibly embarrassed if multiple reviews mentioned me in a negative way. Regardless we had a great experience and hope not to experience what others have next time!

Unprofessional Female Manager. Service is remarkably memorable in a negative way!!! Would not recommend, this lady rude and will make your trip to Edinburgh a disaster. Don't dine in here. Go somewhere else.

Rude female receptionist /Manager. Unwelcoming, unprofessional. Lacks communication. We dined in here on our first night at Edinburgh. Restaurant is not full, and we were on the entrance first prior the 3 other groups that came after us but we were seated last. She never looked at us neither informed us that there was a queue which is odd because there are a lot of empty tables. She directed us for a table for 4, without even asking how many seats we need. Because we are a group of 6. Staff Needs more training with customer service, basic hosting and Managerial skills.

So went in and the restaurant was empty, went to order and the manager who served us was rude. Asked if the blue light card was still there for an offer and was told no. But found out it was still available to use after. Was told we could get something from the app too and when I was going to pay I was told that wasn't available anymore too which made it confusing. Food was ok but staff just standing round and having a gossip doesn't loom professional. Won't be going here again.

Unfortunately it was one of my first jobs as an immigrant without mastering the language, the restaurant was cleaned at night before closing. Well, a manager made me clean when we opened in the morning to delay the preparation of the 'food' and consequently open late and thus blame me, her and a manager who arrived later. Not everything was bad, there was another good Irish manager who changed his face when I told him I was leaving after several days working there. I hope they feel the same treatment that I once felt in their miserable lives. I worked in Italian and Chinese restaurants and never had any problems. I do not recommend going to eat there, much less work, especially if you are an immigrant and any restaurant will treat you and you will feel better than there. I'm not kidding with this, I leave a photo of the employment contract

This nando is very big and has a nice atmosphere. Food served quickly

If you have been to Nando’s before you know what to expect. Main dishes came out somewhat warm whilst sides were piping hot. Aside from this it was a pleasant experience.

During our holiday in Edinburgh, we decided to go to Nando's on August 27th around 8 PM. We arrived with a group of 8 people but we were turned away due to a lack of staff. The staff member who greeted us seemed friendly in the beginning but later assessed our appearance and refused to let us enter even though there were other groups seated after us. We were left feeling a bit disappointed and unwelcomed, especially as we are loyal Nando's customers. This experience was particularly upsetting given our South Asian ethnicity. We question whether our appearance played a role in this discriminatory treatment and I heavily recommend not going to this place.

My wife, mother-in-law, and I had a very pleasant evening at Nando's. The atmosphere was great. The food was perfect. Make sure to try the sauces. 👌 The service team was super friendly and professional. Prices are very reasonable. The portion size was excellent. I recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant is nice and the service is welcoming and efficient. However, the food is nothing to remember. The chicken is fairly bland if not for the sauce. The price makes the experience even worse, since it does not match what you have in front of you. It is just overprized chicken. I would not come back or recommend it. The sauce which should be the star, is not anything special. In other words, if you don't have dinner here you have not missed anything.

I really enjoyed eating at Nandos again today. It's unfortunate that this chain doesn't exist in Germany. We had a bit of difficulty with the WiFi. There was an extremely nice waiter who spoke German very well and who helped us greatly. 6 stars

During my recent visit to Nando's, I ordered the extra mild plain chicken, expecting a dish suitable for those with a low tolerance for spice. Unfortunately, the chicken served was excessively hot, rendering it nearly inedible for me and my family. Upon raising this issue with the manager, suggesting a possible mix-up with the sauce, we were met with a dismissive response. The manager insisted that our palates were simply too sensitive, a stance that disregarded our concern rather than addressing it. It was clear to us that the chicken was not as ordered, yet there was a reluctance to acknowledge any mistake. This experience has led me to decide not to return, as the response to our feedback was both unsatisfactory and unwelcoming.

Grubby, sticky, dirty, wobbly, dry and I think they ran out of lettuce as I got the end piece. Ordered at the table on the app. Got the vip chicken burger which was dry and scantily dressed. Needed to shower afterwards as the restaurant is so dirty.

Good restaurant, same as all other Nandos. However, there were many items “out of stock” when we visited. This was unexpected and not something we’ve seen at any other Nandos before. All in all, fine experience.

Chicken livers are dipped in vinegar, chicken wings are dipped in vinegar, and after one drink, wow, I feel full.

While the food was standard Nandos, I was highly disappointed by the service and the way we were treated. Went around 7pm, famished, there were several vacant tables with space for 2, but we were still made to wait for over 25 minutes to be seated, while local (specifically white) people in groups of 2 and even larger groups were being seated although they arrived after us. When we were finally seated, we were given a table that had been vacant even BEFORE we arrived. The table itself was a long table that we were made to share with other people although there were single tables for 2 that were vacant at that time. Service was also rather slow and they didn't care to tell us that we had to get our own water (?) And just left glasses at the table. To me it doesn't seem fair that we pay the same price as any other customer but are treated disproportionately worse. I'm appalled by how low the standards of customer service can stoop in this country. I used to love Nandos but it's going to be a while before I visit one again because this particular experience ruined it for me - it reeked of causal racism and we were made to feel as if we were being done a favour by them doing (less than) the bare minimum for us.

Pricey for what you get. Good quality food, cooked well with great options but on the pricier side with slower service and a slightly dirty feeling restaurant.

Visited on the 17th Dec...wasn't busy at all..ordered food.. the guy taking order was very polite and helpful. Took sauces and cutlery to table had to change cutlery as was dirty...unfortunately every fork and knife we selected was dirty, spoke to a member if staff she said she would get clean cutlery from kitchen...it came out dirty and marked...asked again to get clean cutlery...finally but member of staff was clearly not happy with us. Food was excellent...but the hygiene of the cutlery would put me off visiting this branch again.

Was surprised it was a sit down restaurant because in Canada they’re more a fast food chain. Our chicken took extra long to cook and they gave us free appetizers.

Arrived to a queue (normal for Nando’s) gave name, asked to wait 15 mins even though there were many tables available, which I pointed out. Told they were extra busy and kitchen had to catch up so still had to wait. 15 mins passed by and then he started inviting other customers in - never used names or order (what was the point of giving them??) Approached the front to ask why, we were then suddenly able to have a table. My Dad had asked to speak to the manager by this point who was terribly rude and unapologetic even though he couldn’t explain the lack of organisation and didn’t appear to want to listen. Then front of house man jumped in when it was his lack of organisation. No apology. Very aggressive and condescending tone from both. Not helpful. Will not be back to this branch. Some staff members need to be retrained on how to speak to customers - this should start at the top with the manager. Really unhappy.

Waited 29 minutes for chicken peri-peri livers, which only arrived at my table after I had asked a waitress to check on my order. Livers we’re complimented by a stale bread roll.

my 1st ever time at a nando's. disappointing. service was slow and the main course chicken was dry and overcooked. since this is my 1st time im unsure if this is the norn but as it was meant to be a burger,i thought the chicken would have been hot but it was stone cold

Had a bit of water accident, their staff were so helpful and caring, even replaced the food that was dipped in water. Smashing team from floor staff to manager on the night. Very welcoming. Got a chicken burger, fries and garlic bread. Chicken didn’t have any colour on it - had to cut it open to make sure it was cooked. It was, but def did not look grilled (maybe oven baked!). Burger bun was cold and stale. Chips were warm and floppy, like cheap oven fries. Garlic bread was burned, and bread obviously stale. Overall just disappointing. Nando’s used to be good, what happened?!

Españoles o gente que me entienda , no vengáis aquí a comer , es un auténtico robo , 36 libras por un plato con patatas y un mini bocata de pollo...pone hamburguesa y es un bocadillo de pan super pequeño, prepárate para ponerte tú la mesa y hacer el pedido , aquí solo te llevan hasta la mesa te sientan y te dicen dónde está la carta ,del resto te encargas tú , tanto de pedir como de ponerte la bebida y demás ... En fin un robo a gente que no lo conoce , no se lo recomiendo a nadie que no quiera.tirar su dinero a la basura.

Second time ive been here recently: Drinks machine still not working, not worth the money for the bottomless drink, Chips tasted mediocre/undercooked, butterfly chicken tasted somehow overcooked and undercooked? Was both dry and cold and im not entirely sure it was cooked.... Wont be going back to this one, other local ones are better, staff seem friendly however so cant fault the customer service (especially the poor guy whos always greeting people and seems swept off his feet)

Craft manager ! I came in asking çan i seat he said to me no you can go away on the door and someone will come no even hello or a smile ! Then I went at the door wait the guys I said I was choked the way the manager speak and the guy just went away without even saying anything! The manager came back and ask what’s wrong I said I don’t know I’m waiting he said yeah follow him I just was choked the way they talk to customer ! A strange practice of this place is to tell you that you have to wait 20 minutes to get a table, even when there are many tables available. This is very irritating.

Pasamos un rato estupendo cenando allí. Hubo un percance con nuestra cena y el encargado vino rápidamente a contarnos lo que había pasado y preguntarnos si nos importaba esperar o preferíamos dejarlo. Dijimos que no nos importaba esperar y el chico, todo apurado, nos invitó a unas consumiciones mientras esperábamos. Muy simpático y amable. La comida estaba buenísima. El pollo exquisito y las salsas geniales, sobre todo, para mi gusto, la de limón y hierbas. Este restaurante es de una cadena y ya habíamos estado en otro antes. La decoración es distinta pero la comida la misma. Si tenemos ocasión, pues en España no hay Nando's, volveremos.

Not a massive Nandos fan (all very spicy and often a bit dry as they want you to add additional chilli sauces) however the serving staff were very helpful and did their best to get the food to us quickly. I was impressed with the pitta and the halloumi and chicken wrap was nice. Main reason for 3 stars for food was the lack of diversity in the children's menu. Unless your children like chicken in bread it can be difficult. Even chicken nuggets and chips would have been better.

Don’t get the hype at all. Food was average at best, and definitely nothing special. We had to go and fetch our own cutlery from the back of the restaurant. Staff were friendly enough, but clearly would rather be anywhere else on a Monday evening.

Worst run Nando’s I’ve ever been to. Waited an age to be seated and had to just seat myself in the end. Had a 30 minute wait for any chicken on the bone. Ordered something else instead which took over 30 minutes anyway.

Not going to lie to you are usually love a cheeky little Nando’s just like everyone else who loves Nando’s usually would.. but this experience was off par. Was greeted by a lovely young man who looked rushed off his feet. I could only feel sorry for him. He explained the menu and how to order and was very attentive, but that’s not where the problem lies.. I placed an order online and I never got my bottomless drink for a good 40 minutes after I placed it… I didn’t explain that I have a train to catch so it be lovely to know if my food was going to be ready soon.. ( even though I can see it, sitting under a hot plate).. the food came about 20 minutes after that and by that time I had to go because otherwise I would’ve missed my train. The food was burnt and it was cold. The portions were terrible compared to other Nando’s I’ve been in. It was when I was leaving I noticed that they were hiring…. It’s not hard to hire people but once you’ve hired them, make sure they know what they’re doing first. Priority, surely should be serving customers getting Customer’s food to them within a decent time.. not walking around like a headless chicken (don’t mind a pun) trying to clear as many tables as possible and clearing up, even though the place didn’t even look that bad in the first place. Also, it’s quite unprofessional for the manager of whatever sort to be arguing with customers because they are annoyed that the food isnt coming out even after an hour… I would return here, but only under a new management team .. it’s clear that they have no clue on what’s going on. To sum it up. I did end up getting my food, but I had to take it with me when the server shoved it all into boxes and didn’t even apologise, or say anything when handed the bag.

Ordered using app that was OK. Food was good but orders where missing items twice. And one of our starters was not cooked properly. The restaurant was only about half full but the staff seemed to have forgotten we where there at all. Overall not impressed with serves.
