Didn’t listen to delivery instructions

Food took 40 minutes to come and it was cold and sad. Mac and cheese was disgusting, fried pickles were disgusting. Burger was ok. 50 quid wasted in total.

Although late arriving, most closing food was still served fresh.

Its just as good here as it is in the US. Very good for a fast food place

Staff were miserable, food was low quality, toilets were disgusting and looked like not been cleaned all day

Everything was good except chicken which is the gag bc it was called slim chickens. Wingstop prices is crazyyyyyyy.

So many items were missing, wrong items delivered.

What can I say: £58 meal with my two kids and wife, wings under cooked and red, overall Poor, 4 meals most of the food was juts huge portions of chips. Refill drinks the worse taste and all white. My wife was given a spray to clean the table, I was told to help take my stuff to the bin even tho I left table tidy for staff to clean. Happy to do so if food was good. Go popey chicken round the corner, much better food and service and you’re not paying for a load of chips and this kind do services. Took most of the food back to feed it to the seagulls in my garden so it does not go to waste. Boss man get control of your restaurant. It’s very poor there.

Dirty, food cold...old milkshake was the only nice thing

There is a huge difference between Brighton and Milton Keynes Slim Chicken. The food at the Brighton location was outstanding and the staff was very friendly and paying close attention to their customers. The chicken was delicious, crispy and tender, and the sauces were mouthwatering. The restaurant is large, and overall, it was a comfortable and welcoming place to eat. The young woman who served me was very welcoming and friendly. I definitely will be back the shakes were absolutely delicious popcorn flavour.

Food was cold and squashed to pieces no stars from me

Not a bad thing to say really. The food was great. I love the garlic and cheese dip. The chips were so tasty and everything came very hot and good price too. Plus the staff were so lovely !!

Avoid this restaurant terrible service from rude staff. The food is over priced and sub standard the chips are very salty and chicken burger was poor one slice of lettuce and an over cooked chicken breast I can't even say the drink was nice as was meant to be coke and tasted of just soda water. Spend your money elsewhere folks.

I walked in an instantly was met with a desirable menu… I ordered my food and was shocked at the price. Later sat down to be greeted by unaccompanied children moaning about the locked toilets…. The food then arrived and I was excited, I couldn’t wait to try their selection of sauces and indulge in some highly spoken about chicken. Suddenly my appetite was destroyed when I realised my sauce had more water in that queen elizibeth reservoir. I opened the next pot to be met with sticky BBQ that must have had super glue in (smh) after I finished my chicken strips and chips I was sat there thinking to myself, the only good part on this dish was the chips (pretty hard to mess up). Overall my experience here was unique and would highly recommend anyone to WALK past and not waste their money.

Food was 3 small chicken bites for £18 including upgrade fries to 'large' which seemed very small. Chicken was about a half a breast and small chicken legs. Poor value. Staff awful 😖 toilets filthy.

This place needs to lift its game if it wants to stay in business. 12 quid for a tiny burger and chips, with the weediest most anaemic bit of chicken and precisely 1 pickle? Yet another example of rip-off Britain…

Lovely service from a great girl in her last year at Uni So much a better experience than some places that just grunt at you and don't treat you as a human

We've always been a fan of Slim Chickens.We had it first in Southampton. Their cookie's and cream milkshakes are to die for,that's according to my daughter! Kudos to Jessie, this young man from North street branch is a good front man for the restaurant, friendly and helpful.

Server was extremely nice. The food was fine but overpriced

Good food, was very enjoyable but was very slow and waited over an hour and a half for it to be taken to my table where it was slightly cold. Aswell as this my friend ordered a meal with a milkshake, which hadn’t had come to the table so he had gone to the counter to get it but found out his food that had just been served to be taken and put in the bin. This was the worst place I’ve ever been to and the worst service I’ve ever received. The staff are lazy, incompetent and extremely unwelcoming. They were not social in the slightest and showed no empathy to my friend who waited sn hour and a half for his food. Horrible

Had to clear and clean and table for me and my partner to sit at. It's not a great service for a rather expensive chicken and chips joint 😐

I keep coming back as my kids enjoy the food but the services is terrible and getting worse with each visit. The staff are lethargic and not interested in communicating. The food takes a very long time to be prepared and served and they often forget items. Today’s meal included 3 milkshakes which are not cheap and they forgot all 3 of them. We had all finished eating by the time we managed to wrestle the milkshakes from the staff. I think it’s time to give up on the Brighton branch.

No problems. Good food, friendly staff.

Tenders were small, not that flavourful, and a bit dry. Wings were generic and oily/greasy, not sure what to say about the sauces (I had Slims, garlic cheese, and gravy mayo) other than I'd get none of them again. No straw for the oreo milkshake, however the milkshake itself was good. Poor value, probably better off going to KFC to be honest.

Freshly cooked chicken. Texas bread, mmmmm. Always good value.

Terrible service and food was so average considering we waited over 20 mins, chips and chicken were stale. The drinks machine was out of gas and only when I asked they gave me a can instead of my refill cup. Really bad service - all staff just standing around chatting

I reluctantly agreed to eat here and I admit, I really liked the BBQ chicken sandwich. Obviously Slim Chicken isn't a designed to encourage you to relax and take your time to enjoy your food but we managed to get a table on what was a busy Saturday afternoon and eat out meal. There was more than I expected and it wasn't greasy. Much better than a Kentucky. I'd eat here again.

This is my third visit but this time it was truly awful. Chips cold and stuck together, honey burger lukewarm at best. Our 2nd meal was the 5 piece mix and that had cold chips too and chicken burnt to a crisp. What’s happened??

I’ve been to slim chickens in London many times and it’s been lovely however Brighton should be ashamed of their one. The food was just warm, the chips came out stuck together and were dry and cold. The staff lacked enthusiasm and did not want to communicate at all. All I hope is that I make it through the day without getting food poisoning!! Avoid Brighton slim chickens at all cost!! Try miller and carter it’s much nicer in all aspects!!

This place deserves a better rating! The service was so good! The food is quality. Good value for money. So much better than what else is available in the area.

Seasoned really well - price was decent but on the higher size - the size of the chicken tenders were pretty disappointing The gravy was delicious though

Chicken was tasty but fries were cold. Didn’t feel after paying to upgrade to large fries it was large at all. Overall chicken and gravy were tasty but disappointed with portion size of fries. Very expensive disappointment. Won’t be going back.

Always grab this when im in town, first time placing an order and it was just as hot fresh and tasty as if i were at the table! And it was delivered with such care my can of drink wasnt even shaken! Delicious, thanks guys! Xxxx

Chicken was very Gristly and arrived cold. Not greatly impressed.

Tasty food but let down by the service. We saw a waiter repeatedly put too many plates into his hand and have to put plates en route to customers on the floor (!) before they arrived. The waiter also dropped a pot of gravy on the floor and didn't apologise or acknowledge that it could have ruined our outfits. The replacement arrived pretty late into my meal meaning I didn't get to enjoy it much. Average experience overall.

Ordered 3 milkshales. Checked our order time and it took over 25 minutes to make. It wasn't too busy. No apology. The staff seemed friendly.

The buttermilk chicken is not crispy, the whole burger was slimey. It made me feel quite un well eating it, and the sliminess of the burger made me question if I should be eating it. Don’t know if the pickles or salad were really old or something, but it tasted off and generally disgusting. Popeyes down the road is way nicer, or even KFC would have been better. Nice staff but very disappointed with the non crispy slime burger. £15 down and going to find something else to eat

Place was clean and tidy, only cons were Kitchen towel rolls on the Tables , I wanted Reg Coke and they only had a few cans of Diet Drinks , Food was ok but not to my taste ,also too expensive for the Quality offered. My opinion only!!!

Food was excellent, server didn't know of any soft drink options that weren't fizzy, even though there was one. Other than that, lovely.

I ordered a portion of fries take away, received a bag with literally 8 fries and went to the counter to ask if that was a normal portion. The lady at the till said NO of course, so she went at the back and could see she said something to the kitchen team, there was a laugh and then they poured the same fries in my friend’s take away box (he ordered a burger). I received a new portion of fries, with a tiny bit more (let’s say we upgraded from 8 to 16), thank you for that ☠️ now I understand why you’re called SLIM chickens. (On top of that, my friend said his burger was worse than a corner chicken shop and more expensive than Nando’s.) NEVER AGAIN

Poor service and very slow. Girl working there appeared drowsy. Sandwich and lettuce was soggy and red piece inside chicken! Bad food and overpriced.

Place was really dirty, had to clean our own table. Woman on till was nice. Food took over 35mins canceled our order and left.

Got milkshakes fast and they were decent waited so long for the rest of our food only for it to come out dry and partly burnt.. didn't help that 3 uber orders were picked up before us and the place was basically empty

The service is always excellent in here. We come in at least twice a month, if not more. The food is delicious, especially the blue cheese dip.

First time eater at slim chickens. Thought it was very nice.. more expensive than your standard kfc but the food was better by far. Kids meals were decent and the adult meals were really nice. Liked the trick shots playing on the tv. Would deffo go again

The server seemed very disinterested in taking my order, or helping me through the selection of products. The food took almost 20 minutes from time of ordering to receiving, and when the food eventually arrived I had to ask if the meal included a drink. At which point the server pointed to a stack of cups on the counter. If they had stopped using her phone during service then they may have shown more attention to the restaurant. The food was fine, not worth the almost £12 that I paid.

Rouba yet again provided excellent service and always makes smile even though there is no requirement for her to do so. Always going above and beyond, nice to see such a positive attitude.

Just amazing… and polite service..

The chicken here was surprisingly good. Even though it was chicken breast, it was soft and seasoned just right. But I don't know the value of the toast that comes with it.

Food was okay! Chicken wasn’t how I’ve had it before, had skin on and wasn’t very crispy. Food wasn’t hot just slightly warm but it still tasted nice either way.

Two girls working today served myself and my family, super friendly, great customer service and always had a smile on. Will be back !!

I made a super simple order. 2 Mac n cheese sides. Nothing else. For over an hour it said the driver was at the place. Then immediately it changed to delivered. No food showed up. Given how many people have had experiences like this, I don't think there actually *was* any hope of my food showing up. This isn't a huge chain either, and I didn't order at what would typically be busy hours for such a place. So I can only assume this is 100% a service issue I was not ever getting my food. Anything you can get here, you can get elsewhere better. Save yourself the time and money

completely scammed, 12 quid for barely enough food daylight robbery at its finest! There was a big group of ten year old boys who just completed ruined this special treat for me and my wife, they where screaming and hogging the waitress so i had a longe wait time

Uber food was prioritised after order placed. Disappointing to be able to see 3 staff members serving food slowly in the kitchen area and orders building up on screen although very quiet in store. To then have my order sat on the side waiting and have to chase up with staff, whilst watching Uber eats and Deliveroo be prioritised. Food was hot, but tenders were quite small, more like the size of wings from the supermarket.. Not particularly tastey but no too bad, (warm on a cold evening!) Not worth the cost however, very overpriced for chicken compared to other fried chicken I’ve eaten.

Wings down, the best chicken I've had in years! It was fresh! It was hot! It was crunchy! Very generous portions and really flavourful. The restaurant was clean, tidy and easy to navigate. There were a range of seating options; bar style, booths, and table seating. There was an unlimited refil option for soft drinks which was really handy too. All the options were halal complient. There were also plant-based options and a bazillion sauces to choose from. I'm absolutely going there again!

First and last time ill go here, Paid almost £20 for a "buffalo burger" and 3 chicken tenders both on thier own without fries or a drink. Prices do not reflect the quality of the food or service at all. When i got home and opened the bag, the chicken burger was smaller than the palm of my hand while the burger bun was so soggy and completely inedible, covered in mayo/lettuce slop. Couldnt taste any spicy buffalo flavour or chicken as there was so much mayo in the burger (which I didn't even ask for). Chicken tenders were just dry and flavourless. Very disappointing 100% better off sticking with KFC for value and flavour!

A place of calm and delicious chicken in central Brighton

First ever visit to the Brighton branch, the food was very tasty and amazing, we all enjoyed. Unfortunately, the refill drink was empty, so I could only get diet coke, and the strawberry milkshake wasn't very strawberry. I would certainly return because of the food. Late edit! On 2nd visit we was waiting for food, and a young lad staff member bought out someone else's food before us, I was absolutely shocked when he dropped the bread roll on floor and put it back on the plate and gave to customers, absolute disgusting amd disgraceful.

Toilet facilities not the greatest, considering you need a code to use them!

Good but nothing amazing. The sad thing about this place is that they are quite inconsistent with the quality. One day you can get a delicious crispy tender and the next its stale and soggy. It's a shame as they have such a good variety of meals. If they work on being more consistent with the food quality this can easily become a staple in Brighton

Food excellent and staff polite

First time visiting here, and will definitely be returning. Staff went above and beyond, food was piping hot, and was served in a matter of minutes. Staff came over to check everything was okay and offered us baby changing facilities as we had newborn with us. Quality of food and portion sizes matched pricing well. Great job to the whole team.

As I bit into the chicken wing it smelt of poo. The sauces are basically oil and sugar with flavouring. The chips are hard and dry. The coating has no flavour. This is the worst food I've eaten. It made me feel sick and I have just woken up in the night thinking how horrible it was. The music in the restaurant is also awful and the staff have no charisma. I would say it was overpriced too but that is irrelevant as I wouldn't eat this food for free, even if I was really hungry.

Eaten at Slim Chickens in Bourenmouth before and the Brighton restaurant wad every bit as good. Food fresh and hot and there is a choice of sauce for every taste!

Very expensive for what it is. The wings were the best bit about the meal.

On the day I eat here. Everything is perfect but that time their chicken wings is different.I don't like the taste. They said it's because of the new spices that they use. But the other food is nice. Hopefully nextime, everything is nice.
