Slim Chickens in South Gloucestershire

So like everyone else my only complaint is why do you have to empty a whole bottle of salt on my fries?! How hard is it to leave the fries plain and let people put their own amount of salt. Whilst i was there today i seen people from 2 different tables go up and complain about the saltyness on the flippin fries. Just stop doiing it!

The food is too salty. specially the fries. i ordered childrens meal but the fries is too salty for my son. even the chicken tender is too salty. taste is good but it will be better if they will reduce the salt specially for the childrens meal.

What a little gem, I Love chicken. Slim Chicken is really the next level of good quality chicken in Bristol. Quick service, good value and overall nice taste to the chicken with a nice mayo gravy pot on the side. Next time I'll certainly try more. Great job all, 👏 if you love chicken, give it a go in Cribbs ❤️

Busy place took some time for my order to come but other than that no other issues

We both thought we would have a change instead of Burger's Or Chip's all the time. We both enjoyed the food and drink at Slim Chicken at Cribbs Causeway - I had 10 Wings meal and Wife had Slim's Salad, we really enjoyed it and wife was really impressed with her Slim's Salad -> Update as from 17th August 2024, it's one size cup for coke and those sorts of drinks But you can get a Refil I think it's unlimited But not sure ask at the counter

I really enjoy the food from slims and thought I’d treat myself as I hadn’t ordered take out in a while. my carrier delivered the food still warm and good to go but unfortunately missed an entire meal (again). as this is something that happened the last time I ordered a delivery,I rung the restaurant luckily I got through to someone on the phone and the lady I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. shame that this didn’t happen this time as no one even picked up the phone it was more so I could let them know incase they hadn’t checked the other orders which seems to be a reoccurring problem.

Myself and hubby popped in here on Thursday 12th sept 2024 we went up to order and was met with an extremely rude male, he muttered something I couldn't understand what he was saying we turned around and walked out he was horrible with a nasty don't give a shit attitude so we went across to burger king to a polite and friendly service. I would not recommend that slim chickens at all!!!! Disgusting service with a really bad attitude!!!!!

Dissatisfied Went today around 4 wanted to pay at till the girl was talking with a friend and totally ignored me . So i ordered at the machine. Our order was not coming for long time went to check because I was seeing the Oreo shake from our order for long time on the counter. So I ask the girl to pass me the food and she says she’ll bring it. Gives someone else an order then picks up my order takes it to the table and ignores when I ask if I can take the shake .Surprise, surprise the food was cold . I went clean a table for us to sit , cold food , rude staff pfff . This place was nice and really clean , but now…. Firstly when you go somewhere to eat you don’t want someone to treat you like this and second when you working you don’t stay and chat with friends over the counter and ignore costumers .

Ordered around 11am, then constantly using the toilet around 1pm. Staff was constantly being loud and you’re wondering is the laughter is related to what they gave you? Either way surely you’re being paid to work not to muck about! Never again.

9/10 The food is incredible, excellent and extremely delicious! The grave is the best thing to go along with their chicken and chips. There drinks are also refreshing, the ice is my favourite!!! The only reason that it’s 9/10 instead of 10/10 is because the price it a bit to steep for how much you actually get. Other than that it’s absolutely amazing!!

Although food is nice it's a little higher price the other chicken outlets. Like the service style and the unlimited drinks. Ordering is easy on the self service screens.

The food was cold and not very tasty and i payed 24£ for macaroni and cheese and a burger horrible the cheese on my burger was not even melted because everything was cold

Came in with my partner as we had free meals from the loyalty scheme. Was greeted by Courtney who apologised for making us wait but it was only like 10 seconds or so whilst she served orders. When she came to serve us she was incredible, an amazing example of customer service and so attentive. We had the 7 tenders meals and the food was excellent, came out in no time at all and as if I didn’t already have high praise for Courtney, she offered me and my partner free shakes which honestly blew my mind. Atmosphere was really nice and chill. Such a nice place to come and eat. Thank you again to Courtney for your amazing customer service!!

Went in a random Wednesday and was greeted by Courtney. We had to wait a couple of mins so she could run food which was absolutely fine by us. We had impeccable service by her. She even offered us free milkshakes for the wait which was honestly not even that long. We always get great service here and will always come back. Much better vibe than the one in Cabot. Courtney was attentive to us and was constantly walking around making sure everyone was enjoying their food. Would highly recommend! 💕

I've been a couple of times now. I do like the chicken! I like the garlic bread you get with it.

Such a shame, come around 3.30 pm on Monday, order my food at machine, while i was going to start to fill my drink, in less than a minute I have my food on the table. Barely warm wings, cold fries. Eating them while I was looking to the wall were is written " Always cooked fresh to Order". Clearly not, false advertisement. The restaurant was empty. Such a shame!

4.2 rating are you guys having a laugh one of the worst customer service first there is no place to sit down when there’s no person on the counter when we took the food and we finally got a table. Imagine you have a family of five and you don’t get a table all of a sudden you find a table and someone come up to you. You are eating they don’t have even this much manners and they said you are sorry on the weekend. We’re not allowed anybody with a takeaway boxes. Shame on you guys Extremely shameful Service absolutely zero star will give no manners at all counter people don’t smile at all one of the worst place to eat management is absolutely zero, they just looking at you like a dummies unacceptable. Totally totally unacceptable. Only the reason to go there. They are HalaL

Although busy the staff were very efficient, and friendly, keeping the queue for tables and seating moving as quickly as it could.

Not into cold chicken chips was ok though

I’ll start with the good. The strips were nice, fries were tasty and crispy, loved the toast and the milkshakes were lush. So many different dips, was spoilt for choice. For the bad…The wings were way too salty and it made them inedible. The mac and cheese was really bland, tasted like microwave pasta. The staff were really friendly and the food came out really quickly.

Really good chicken here! Loved the coleslaw too. The chips are big portions in my opinion. It’s quite pricy but it felt like good quality products from my experience. I would definitely eat here again. I like that you can order things individually and share the dishes.

Beware when ordering the deep fried chicken meals that you can’t get any sugary drinks (only chemical filled zero/diet versions!)

Quick service and food was nice

Really enjoyed our visit to Slims, we were a group of 4 out shopping, & called in on a whim. Our server Jason was very helpful explaining the menu options & giving us advice on what to order. Food arrived fairly quickly considering how busy they were. Food was very tasty will definitely return.

Really nice for a fast food place in a shopping mall

TLDR: wanna be KFC, long way to go. They sell beer ! Right so it's the first time I'm dining at any Slim Chicken. I went for mix and match 3 wings 3 boneless. The boneless was very tender just right, but the flavouring was not to my liking, just bland mix of unknown substances of so called spices. The wings were quite bad actually, it was in the fryer for way too long and the flavour was.. I don't know neither spicy neither nice neither anything just tasted of burned oil The potato fries were actually very good, nice and long, crispy and the right thickness 3 dips Gravy mayo: new taste for me, gravy and mayo mix I guess, quite good actually Buffalo: very runny, no other taste than just vinegary rubbish mixed with something red? Quite bad actually Siriacha Garlic: Wanna be sweet chilli but ain't. Not as bad as Buffalo but ain't great either. Drink; Budweiser like for real?! They sell actual beer 🍺🍻🍺🍻🍺🍻 wow. As for the branch: service was very good, the lady that served the food was very nice, Cleanliness was top No a single bad thing to say about the staff. I ate at 19:00 ish so the food quarter was really busy and this place was the only reasonable amount of people for shortish serving time In conclusion: wanna be KFC but the food is NOT even close to that quality

I first want to say I normally love slim chickens, but this store is not for me. The food is always cold in my experience and the service is poor. Although some staff are friendly the ones who are not really bring down the atmosphere. It’s a shame as it’s a Lovley location and has potential. The service is really what let’s it down for me.

Staff are friendly and attentive, willing to help in anyway they can. Good quality food with various different menu choices and add ons. Store always has plenty if customers in yet is always clean and well maintained. Can dine in or takeaway :)

Not sure what was going on here.. there were empty seat but nobody was greeting the queuing people to seat them, everything just seemed disjointed

UPDATE: Avoid on Uber Eats!! Absolutely terrible. £30 on 2 meals wasted. Tasted awful and arrived cold. Order completely wrong. Drinks arrived cold. Even had to heat back up in the oven. Tasted nothing like in the restaurant. Reported to both Slim Chicken and Uber Eats; not interested as point blame at the person who has order indicating "what do you expect when you order food". Awful Good chicken shop. Really food quality and tasty chicken. Good portion sizes. Lots of chicken based options to chose from. Enjoyed the burger and fillets. And a lot of different sauces to try! Not bad value for money but more than you'd pay in most fast food restaurants. Is difficult to guarantee seating as the restaurant if often busy and on the smaller side. Would definitely come back again to try something else🍗🍟

In the mall cribs, no queue, easy to order in shop, staff were not the friendliest, food was ok, had chicken, chips and toast, strange having toast, very expensive for what it was over £12 for one meal

Expensive. It says 10 piece wings Meal for 13.95, but they still charge u extra for the fries and drink. It's not included in the meal amount. The food was ok but the milk shake was very nice.

Have been working in the mall Cribbs causeway for over a year now has to be one of the best places to grab a quick lunch friendly staff quick service and amazing food recently served by Courtney and Naomi who never fail to give amazing service :)

The chicken is very good quality and value for money in todays climate. Courtney provided an excellent friendly service, would definitely recommend.

Nice food that I very quickly regretted. Strange service and a bit pricey. I've done a few reviews of things in a row now and it seems I am just moaning about price. It just seems a lot of these new chains are opening with prices set at what are now the "going rate" which to me seems a lot. Particularly as the competition which is still around especially on the fried chicken front, is still reasonably priced. What are these guys doing different? Choice seems to be the thing. They have a nice choice of shakes, sauces and different burgers. Is it that much nicer to make a difference? Probably not really. Especially as it's still just in a fast food place. It doesn't really feel like a different experience. I did enjoy my food. I personally didn't react well to it and about two hours after was enjoying it very much less so. But that is not necessarily the brand's fault as my constitution for spicy. Overall different but nothing special and given the price, plus my reaction, not something I'd go out of my way for.

The food was great. Better than McD. It's Halal. Just be aware not to order sauce which has wine vinegar. The Korean sauce was nice.

If you want good chicken, American style then this is the place. Chicken is NEVER dry, the chips are very good and the drinks options are brilliant. The DIPS however are the star of the show!!!

Absolutely love slim chickens totally wish there was one in Taunton !!

Food ordered and delivered to table within the time it took me to get a drink. Food came and 4 of the tenders were very obvs old having been cooked a long time ago. Other 3 were fresh looking. The diff was highly noticeable. I requested they changed them with a member of staff . Within seconds my meal was back at the table. originally looking good, however it was then noticed the the old burnt tenders have literally been put to the bottom of the basket with the fresher 3 placed on top. the chicken had not been changed at all and simply rearranged in the basket. the garlic toast was rock solid like having been under heat lamps for the last 2 days! utterly disgracefully. meal left untouched. what's the point of complaining again staff obvs didn't take any notice the first time round

I came into the store yesterday for something to eat. It was our first time. I was served by holly. She was very helpful. She lets us know that milkshakes would be brought to the table and as for the fizzy drinks we help our selves: there’s a huge range of sauces (we were torn with our decision lol) holly let us know which were most popular and we made our decision by that. As for the flavour of sauces we tried they were amazing. Chicken was fresh and juicy. Chips were perfectly seasoned . The store was tidy considering it was busy. Atmosphere was great. Other staff was all smiling. Will definitely be coming back. Not a bad word to say. Thank you slims at cribs !!!!

I went in for the famous BBQ burger and it did not disappoint. Happy with the service I received and very happy with the food. Will be back very soon with friends!!!

I've been to slim chicken's in Cabot Circus and at Cribbs and love their chicken salad bowl, irs huge . The staff were really polite and welcoming on both my visits .So far I don't have anything negative to say .

I’ve been a few times and the chicken has been quite salty each time. Staff are very polite and courteous. It can be quite busy and there probably should be a line outside to wait for seating. You can be waiting for a place to sit but you need to be lucky enough to be near someone leaving or it gets snatched away.

The wings are nice, best milkshake in Bristol, the app sometimes gives them for only £2. Other food is expensive
