This is one of the nicest places to eat. The meal was abundant, piping hot and very tasty. We were looked after so well with their pleasant, happy staff. The tables are great spaced so you don’t feel ‘crowded in’.

You need to try the Eggs Benedict if it is on the specials for breakfast. Absolutely perfect. 👌 👌👌 The full breakfast is also really good and this is normally my choice but I am glad I decided to try something different today. If you want a good breakfast, please try this place, you won’t be disappointed

We visited the Slate & Grain with friends recently and were very impressed with the welcome, service and food.The view over the village of Muchalls and over the North Sea were simply excellent. We will certainly come back here but it is advisable to reserve a table beforehand is it is a very popular venue. Service was slightly slow but the place was very busy at the time of our visit.

What a great little cafe, quite hidden away, in lovely surroundings. It is part of a project to help people with disabilities to develop new skills and find employment so go along for meal or just a drink and some cake and you’ll be helping to support a really worthwhile project

As someone who often struggles to find good gluten-free options, I was thrilled with the delicious, juicy burger and fresh toppings. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience. If you're looking for amazing gluten-free food, I highly recommend The Rustic GrillI can't wait to return!

Seaview RoadWent today with 5 friends to celebrate my 70th Birthday. Food was absolutely amazing! Service was excellent. Definitely worth a visit! Very reasonably priced for food & drink.

Ann StreetVery nice B&B. Ideal quiet location in the center and within walking distance of the sea. We had a large room from which we could even see the sea. Loving and cozy furnishings. Very friendly reception.

2 High StreetAttending a funeral and just about everything handled well. Only thing I would suggest is when those not going to graveside and waiting in Lounge no Bar was visible so maybe a member of Bar staff could have had quick walk around as most were either elderly or maybe hampered with use of walking sticks etc or those not comfortable going up to a Bar to order and see if anyone wanted anything. More sales and more happy customers....
