It was the first time visiting the skymaster and we had a really good time the staff were all so friendly and cheerful David came over to us and had a chat asking us what the food was like and general chat we will be visiting again in the near future the place was so fresh and clean

Was told it was fully booked, many slots available on the website and counted no less than 5 empty tables from the front door. There possibly three sets of customers eating and we were advised at 4 pm that the next available table was 7pm. Decor was drab and atmosphere was very quiet obviously. Think it was more likely that they didn’t want to serve us with a 2 year old.

Lovely bartender and staff member named David was very polite, professional and funny too. He gave myself and my dad 5 star service at the bar got our food and drink order spot on. Had a lovely meal, cold wintery day . Had a lovely curry perfect winter warmer served fresh and hot .Pub was cosy and welcoming.

Service was great. Booked ahead. Only issue was that we would have liked a choice of seating. We were 5 adults and seated in the children's area. Food and service were excellent given how busy you were.

Kinda my local. It's spacious and friendly. Lots of parking and outside seating. Food is good and the daily deals are always worth a look.

We visited on Sunday for the Carvery. Meat portions were small and the selection of veg was smaller than others in the area, although the food is ok. The guy on the Carvery was rude and several elderly walk in customers were turned away despite a dozen tables remaining empty for the hour and a half we were there. The servers were polite and friendly.

The interior is a bit dated, some furnishings are on the tired side but the layout is decent and easy enough to navigate. There is an outdoor seating and play area. The beer selection is hit and miss, cider selection is just standard fair. Plenty of spirits for your cocktails. Food is neither disappointing nor gourmet and are competitively priced for the area. It is popular with families around the end of school time so if you're looking for a quiet drink/meal you may wish to delay until later on in the evening.

Lovely lunch deal, food well cooked and well presented. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Attentive without being over bearing.

Giving this restaurant 0 stars after my visit today with a friend, the customer service I received whilst ordering our food from the man behind the bar was disgusting. I then received my lunch which I ordered a steak and onion baguette, the steak was pretty much missing from the baguette, it was awful for over £10 for lunch. Will not be returning and will not recommend at all. Not happy

A great meal all round tonight. The cowboy burger was cooked perfectly and bin and lettuce really fresh, the side sauce was lovely. The mixed grill was good, the meat was cooked nice and a good portion size. The kids meal was a nice kids size portion, it was also delivered to the table first, allowed him to get going first, although our meals were brought in really good time. The deserts again were good, although the salted caramel brownie is more like a tart/torte, but nice. The staff were really good. They looked happy and professional and very attentive, they were very good, which is nice to see in pub staff these days. The play areas outside is good, it a little one piece of equipment slide, climbing frame etc but all the kids had a great time playing. The staff asked at every interaction regarding allergies, our son has a nut allergy so very important and very welcomed. A fab visit all round and great value for money. We will definitely come again, especially now the pooche can come outside with us as well 😀🐶 When we arrived the staff were nothing but exceptional. Hazel went over and above to accommodate us and ensure our visit was great. Their were another 2 female staff who served us and both were brilliant, it's nice to see staff who actually appear to care about their customers experience, other venues could learn alot from them. Great job, so please pass on our thanks. The food was also very tasty and the desert was amazing - fabulous all around.

Went 1st time since before COVID. This time with 2 kids lol. How surprised I was as place is way better than before. Food good, service quick, children friendly and there was a magician show... 5* well deserved for overall experience.

Gone down hill..... food not so good and never hot. When it first opened it was amazing. Food lovely and hot and good customer service. Opposite now. Hadn't been for about 4 months thought would try and again won't b coming back.

This was really disappointing from start to finish. When we arrived there was nobody behind the bar to take our order. After waiting 5 minutes at the bar a young man come out with a face like we had just woke him up. We ordered chicken gravy burgers and a hot dog and when then order came there was no gravy with the chicken burger. We let the lady know and she came back and told us there is none but would we like normal gravy. She did apologise and told us they should have said that there was no gravy when we ordered. They brought normal gravy which was like water and the bacon was burned black and hard. It was completely dry. Upon leaving there was nobody even around to say bye or thank you. Service was appalling and food was horrendous. Maybe they should have a walk round to their neighbouring pub "seven woods" and see how customers should be served.

It's not a pub, it's a conveyor belt for quick cheap turn around food. The worse part is the QR code self ordering. Nothing says we can't be arsed with you and just want your money like getting you to order yourself without speaking to a waitress/waiter. I'm pretty sure pubs fall under hospitality, and there was anything but hospitable. Soulless environment from start to finish and a complete waste of money.

The greeting staff member was a little rude on our arrival. Food on average was OK but small portions for what was paid for. The carvery was beyond disgusting. Watery gravy, uncooked stuffing that looked like wall paper paste. No turkey. Veg choices were a tiny amount of peas. Over cooked carrots, roast potatoes and mash that tasted like smash.

Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Carvery good value for money. Ample parking space.

Another lovely Sunday catching up with family ( we hadn’t seen since Christmas), at this warm friendly pub and restaurant. Fabulous carvery and friendly, helpful staff who really care. Special mention to Dave Moore ( no relation!) who always looks after us when we visit, hope to be back soon .

Paid over £5 to sample the Amstel. Carvery was very average and the staff aren’t very welcoming, Mash was excellent however.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure that the best options are available to the customer. The food is very good and perfectly cooked. Excellent all round dining experience.

This pub/restaurant is close to IKEA Warrington so if you are in the area and hungry is worth calling in for lunch, dinner or a drink. We have visited many times over the years when we're in the area or on our way home from our campervan/ motorhome holidays. The food is always great, the staff are pleasant and the atmosphere is ideal. They serve a variety of food including a carvery. We like it and think you would too.

Don't have high expectations, and you won't be disappointed. It's the same as every other family-friendly chain pub across the area. Microwaved food, uninspired menu. The price is reasonable, and there's an indoor and outdoor play area for kids, which is great. It's clean and well presented. Not bad, but far from great.

Ordered through your table service app waited 45 minutes just to get my drink the food took nearly an hour to arrive, Staff seemed to be wandering around aimlessly very incompetent Staff would not recommend

With travelling from Runcorn to the restaurant I really didn't know what to expect with it only being my 1st visit to the restaurant but I can honestly say what a wonderful and lovely restaurant from the warm welcome on arrival and the great food everything was spectacular. The restaurant is lovely and clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Great all round visit and I will definitely be travelling again to visit the restaurant very soon 😀

It was our 1st time in The Sky master and we were not disappointed. Met with a warm smile and a hello from David who was behind the bar. Really chatty and friendly. We ordered food which was deliciously fresh and warm and presented nicely. The chef brought it out and was really nice. Got chatting to a lady called Dawn who works there too who was really friendly. I for sure will recommend this place to all my friends and family for the Fantastic food and service. Many thanks for a lovely lunch.

Trouble free table booking. We arrived earlier than expected but we were still seated straight away(though it was a quiet evening). Bar and waiting staff were friendly and attentive. Having chosen the carvery the Chef was on hand, again friendly and informative.

We went on boxing day for a three course meal in a large group, the food was excellent and the waiter bar staff and carvery man, were all lovely, and the managers were brilliant and very friendly and cheerful, 10/10 🥰🥰🥰

Carvery is a mess. Turkey is so dry and overcooked that you could bounce it off the table. It was replaced with a 'fresh' one which was only slightly less bouncy. Carrots were burnt and dry, stuffing had been sat out so long you couldn't scoop it out the tray. It was like rubber. While they refunded me for it, they're obviously still taking money to serve this to other people. Food cannot be left out uncovered for as long as that without being refreshed or rotated. Horrible. Would never recommend this meal at this restaurant again

I booked the Santa experience for my twin girls (one of whom has ADHD) the day before my in-laws from London surprised my daughters with a Christmas visit, I went into the pub on the morning of the experience to ask if they could sit on the table with us as they were staying, I was told by a young man that it was busy and he didn’t think there would be room. I explained that they didn’t want to eat and the situation about me not knowing they were coming previously, then a woman came over (I assumed it was an acting manager?) she was extremely rude and said they couldn’t sit with us or have a chair added to our table, also when we saw the table as it was a bench seat we could have all sat together, I appreciate you were busy but she was so very rude I felt like walking out and she spoke to us all appallingly in front of other guests, my in-laws left and we sat down and then a lovely member of staff called David came over and offered us a larger table that but by this point my in-laws said they didn’t want to come back in as they had found it so embarrassing. My daughter was so upset that she didn’t want to stay, so we left. I paid £50 for the whole thing and left without seeing Santa as it was terrible treatment from the one ‘manager’ no smile, no greeting, just rude and upbrupt and obviously unable to cope in her position when the pub was busy. We are regulars and my father in law ate there 2 nights before spending £100 and also the night before as they stay at the travel lodge when they visit. We have been eating and visiting that pub for years since we lived there and I myself took the whole family the week before for a carvery. The usual manager Anne-Marie who I booked the Santa breakfast with is absolutely lovely and cannot do enough to help but unfortunately she wasn’t there as I feel if she had been the whole situation would have been completely different. My twin girls were upset they didn’t see Santa but they both understood how rude and uncaring that particular member of staff was. We will never return to the Skymaster after that terrible experience.

The carvery was not hot at all the mash potatoes were all hard roast potatoes were rock hard not much gravy left if Gordon Ramsey would go mad if he tasted this carvery No Apple sauce and no mint sauce

Visited with my partner I had the large carvery but wasn't large hardly any meat roast potatoes cold mash cold carrots cold gravy like water thought I would give it a try but wasn't nice wont be having it again

All the food was lovely. The carvery food was really cooked well and the salad was exceptional. It is difficult to find salad in Winter for those salad lovers. Really nice Chardonnay. Atmosphere and service good. Well worth a visit.

Went with Family for my birthday meal and my daughters roast dinner was cold dried out and the meat was over cooked . When she complained they asked if she would like to choose something else she chose sausage & mash and that was cold which she completely left uneaten. Two other party members were also unhappy with their food, one being a veg chilli and the other being a cowboy burger. Needless to say l won't be visiting again. Birthday ruined.

Sky master is our regular we love it we come once a week some weeks twice never had a bad meal and the staff are always polite and always make you feel welcome wouldn’t go anywhere else our little boy loves coming and loves the dipping donuts no place like it 😁

Food was awful. Had a table booked for 7pm I chose the carvery. When I went up to get my food I took the last 4 roast potatoes in the pot didn't think anything of it. Sat down to eat my meal and it was cold. It had obviously been cooked earlier on in the day. My mash had a cold hard skin on it. My veg was cold the roast potatoes were really hard and cold. I complained the staff apologised and offered me a different meal. That again wasn't great but it was edible.

New to the area and first visit, staff seemed nice but communication was a little strange with every member of staff, they all seemed shy or scared to talk to the customers. Very odd. Food was good although took quite a while to come out, considering the place was half empty.

We are a small group of ladies who meet up once a month and always used to go to Stretton fox which has gone downhill on service and food so we decided to rry somewhere different we were so pleased we did the food at Skymaster was delicious and well priced...the service was good and we were made to feel very welcome. We will definately be using this resteraunt as our new monthly meeting place.

Fantastic welcome as always from David and the team, really enjoyed our food a burger and a carvery which were both delicious. Service was as we expected fast and friendly. We used the app for drinks and they arrived quickly and the giant cakes we took home were lovely if not a little too much to finish in one go. We will defiantly be back soon.

A good family pub, didn't eat, but the food looked okay. They had a roast dinner buffet. It appeared to be self-service system. Really big pub great for family gatherings.

Nice mid-ish week stop for food n drink. It's always a nice atmosphere in here and made all the better coming in from the cold and sleet. Food is always nice.
