Great food. Best carvery ever. Welcoming staff. Highly recommended.

Visited with my partner I had the large carvery but wasn't large hardly any meat roast potatoes cold mash cold carrots cold gravy like water thought I would give it a try but wasn't nice wont be having it again

All the food was lovely. The carvery food was really cooked well and the salad was exceptional. It is difficult to find salad in Winter for those salad lovers. Really nice Chardonnay. Atmosphere and service good. Well worth a visit.

Had light bites for lunch. I had hunters chicken. Really enjoyed the food, so much so that we booked for Sunday

We absolutely love this place. Always such a warm welcome from the staff, always helps when the manager shares your sandwich if humour too. The food is always perfect. The girls loved meeting Santa and the elves at elf school today but the best part was that I got to sit with Santa….. although he thinks I’ve been naughty this year.

Went with Family for my birthday meal and my daughters roast dinner was cold dried out and the meat was over cooked . When she complained they asked if she would like to choose something else she chose sausage & mash and that was cold which she completely left uneaten. Two other party members were also unhappy with their food, one being a veg chilli and the other being a cowboy burger. Needless to say l won't be visiting again. Birthday ruined.

Great effort, good beer and wonderful mixed grill. Very pleasantly surprised at how good this Marston's pub was.

Sky master is our regular we love it we come once a week some weeks twice never had a bad meal and the staff are always polite and always make you feel welcome wouldn’t go anywhere else our little boy loves coming and loves the dipping donuts no place like it 😁

Food was awful. Had a table booked for 7pm I chose the carvery. When I went up to get my food I took the last 4 roast potatoes in the pot didn't think anything of it. Sat down to eat my meal and it was cold. It had obviously been cooked earlier on in the day. My mash had a cold hard skin on it. My veg was cold the roast potatoes were really hard and cold. I complained the staff apologised and offered me a different meal. That again wasn't great but it was edible.

New to the area and first visit, staff seemed nice but communication was a little strange with every member of staff, they all seemed shy or scared to talk to the customers. Very odd. Food was good although took quite a while to come out, considering the place was half empty.

We are a small group of ladies who meet up once a month and always used to go to Stretton fox which has gone downhill on service and food so we decided to rry somewhere different we were so pleased we did the food at Skymaster was delicious and well priced...the service was good and we were made to feel very welcome. We will definately be using this resteraunt as our new monthly meeting place.

Fantastic welcome as always from David and the team, really enjoyed our food a burger and a carvery which were both delicious. Service was as we expected fast and friendly. We used the app for drinks and they arrived quickly and the giant cakes we took home were lovely if not a little too much to finish in one go. We will defiantly be back soon.

A good family pub, didn't eat, but the food looked okay. They had a roast dinner buffet. It appeared to be self-service system. Really big pub great for family gatherings.

Nice mid-ish week stop for food n drink. It's always a nice atmosphere in here and made all the better coming in from the cold and sleet. Food is always nice.

We came in for a great breakfast on the 9th November - Veteran breakfast. The food was boss, staff were lovely and so helpful. We will see you on Christmas day for another great meal!

Good service and updates from the staff Drinks arrived right away after ordering on the app and the waiter advised us when the meals would be coming out so the other person could go to get the carvery so we all ate at the same time I would definitely go back and would recommend

Lovely, building, situated well. The interior is extremely nice and the atmosphere is always fantastic. The staff are very attentive and the owner is superb and goes the extra mile to make it a personable experience. Always have a great time and we’ve been here well over 20 times.

This place is truly shocking. Where do I begin to start… we ordered a carvery which took the server a good 5 minutes to come out the back to cut the meat considering the place was empty. The carvery was one the worst tasting things that I’ve consume In my entire life. The roast potatoes made me and my girlfriend gag and the Yorkshire puddings were as hard as stone filled with grease disgusting, didn’t even bother finishing half my plate utter disgrace…. The staff didn’t even bother asking how was your meal sums this place up really. It’s a no from me the best part was the water in a glass :)

The staff were friendly and helpful. The carvery was the best I have had for a long time. Also the Rocky Road Sundae was amazing. The room was clean and the tables not on top of one another. Music at a nice level. All in all a very enjoyable evening 😊

Unfortunately I was expecting better. The carvery we had was dry as anything. Personally the meat had been sat out way too long under the heat lamps. The roast potatoes were dry too and very har to cut and chew. My wife asked me if the Yorkshire puddings had been microwaved as she thought he’s was very rubbery. The staff were excellent and the atmosphere was average. The quality of the food needs to vastly improve.

Food is amazing and it is complemented by the fabulous staff. Anne Marie can't do enough for you and is an absolute credit to the pub. Herbie has excellent customer service and is a joy to deal with. Absolute complements to the chef food is spot on every time and I definitely recommend to the cheese lovers to get a pot of nacho cheese sauce with any meal

AMAZING service cheese sauce was unbelievable burger was massive got normal chips and got to add cheese on them for 70p!!! Definitely recommend coming to the sky master Hygiene was amazing every where was spik and span but the service was out of this world

Been to the Skymaster many times always a good atmosphere and superb food today 21st September served by the lovely and attentive Lara ensured all our needs were met. And David the manager, always a harty welcome on leaving ensured everything went well wishing my wife and I a welcome return, that's a date then David. Great venue, Great staff and great food.

Had a fabulous meal at Skymaster this weekend. Staff were helpful, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Food was piping hot and everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. Looking forward to our next visit very soon.

Lovely meal with my parents and sons . Burgers were really good . Staff were really helpful. Pub was busy but our meals came quickly and were hot . The pub and toilets were Extremely clean too. Jeanie was very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us ,Will definitely be returning .

Came in over Tuesday lunch time, was greeted by David in a very polite and energetic manner, perfect start. Was then served by Cassandra on the bar ordering was easy and effective even asking about allergies, which I will take into account next time when bringing friends with allergies! Food was superb and portions were perfect. Was asked many times by Craig how my visit was which is a great positive. Will definitely be returning here in the future! :)

Excellent friendly staff "Jean" our waitress was top notch and we think she would make an excellent addition to front of house permanently. Lovely food, carvery and great prices. *Blue light cards are also accepted here.*

Bar staff friendly. When getting food from carvery a customer had been give a very small amount of stuffing (which according to the website is unlimited) by the male member of staff on the carvery section. The customer then went to get more stuffing only to be told abruptly by the staff member that he had already given him some stuffing. When myself and my husband asked for stuffing the staff member gave us both literally a thin slice of stuffing. The staff member was watching every item that each customer was getting. He didn’t smile once, his customer service was appalling. The staff member went to the male toilet at the same time as my son, when my son returned he mentioned that the staff member serving meat and stuffing had not washed his hands. Disgusting. All other staff we dealt with were polite and friendly apart from the giy at the carvery section.

Scraping the serving bowls for the limited choice of veg. Literally, trying to scrape the last 10 peas, the final carrot, and stuffing crumbs out. Yorkshire pudding had the texture of a cracker-the same unexpected texture as my daughter's donuts, hard and crunchy. I'd have complained. But honestly, the staff were either miserable or short tempered, sapping all joy from our family roast dinner before we even got to queue for the carvery bowl scraping experience. But... its the first time I've noticed you have a park. Will be back for a shandy and the park at most.

Such a lovely pub with great staff and good food! Guy who served us was really helpful and had great customer service skills. Carvery was delicious and the loaded fries and chicken wings got 10/10 from my son. Kids loved the play area! Will be returning 😊

Went for Sunday roast good food but sparse on the meat portions.

There's only the 'meatless' carvery that I can eat and I find it disgusting that I have to pay the same as the customers who get given slices of expensive 'meat' on their plates, as well as the veggies. There should be a reduction in the cost of the 'meatless' carvery which, at the end of the day is just a plate of veggies that have had very little thought, time or effort expended on them.

Went for a carvery tonight and I’ve been here before hence the reason we chose to go back,as last time it was nice,but tonight i was disappointed I didn’t go to a local toby,veg was bland,roast potatoes where under cooked,gravy was like water,an i like my gravy,but this was like a puddle on my plate,and the meat was absolutely vile,was like the meat had sat for hours,and the cuttings was uneatable due to it being dried out that much,the chef should’ve binned the first slices but decided to serve them,staff was nice,but wouldn’t go back for a carvery,nearly £30 on 2 carvery's and 2 pepsi,drank the pepsi but food was left,shame really as it’s a nice place😩😩😩

We ordered a lemon drizzle cake, and I can say it was a nightmare. Horrible taste and ugly decoration. I've never seen and had something like that before. It was an absolute disaster... waste of my money 👎🏼👎🏼

My wife and I have visited this restaurant before and it’s usually ok, although the service is not very speedy! Yesterday’s experience was something else…we ordered sausage, mash and peas and a spicy burger with chips. Unfortunately, I was half way through my meal before I realised there were infact no peas! So with a meal consisting of 3 ingredients, one of which was missing. My wife ordered the burger but this also lacked the crispy onions which were mentioned in the description. It seems like the kitchen staff just deliver what ever they remember. We didn’t complain at the time and no staff were aware of our disappointment, but please accept this review and deal with the lack of attentiveness that your kitchen staff show. I must add, there were only 3 other tables being served so the kitchen was hardly dealing with any busy period.

This is where my daughter chose to celebrate her 21st . With having autism she finds social situations difficult but the staff here are always so friendly and welcoming. We've never had bad service and the food is scummy.

We go here a couple of times a month and we keep coming back. From the warm welcome we get when we arrive to the fantastic service and quality food, this place is a great pub with a friendly atmosphere. Best carvery around and amazing staff.
