Premier Inn Warrington (A49/M62,J9) hotel in Warrington

Staff amazing rooms clean and very presentable The staff really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. And a nice personal touch with a note in your room and chocolates made my stay that little bit better

Family trip to see relatives at Christmas. Great stay, good night's sleep.

Breakfast was great. We were served by a lovely lady called Pam. Really nive and helpful, She was great with our daughter :) thanks

I don't think my meal last night could have gone any worse tbh. I came in for my dinner and asked at the bar if they wanted me to order at the bar as it was almost 8pm and there was no one there. The friendly girl behind the bar said that it's ok, she gave me a menu and said to take a seat, so I got my guinness and went to sit down. I decided what I wanted (the menu looked a bit microwavy so I wanted a steak) and waited for the nice girl behind the bar to come over. no one came. So I waited quite a while longer and finished my Guinness while looking about for any staff (they were both behind the bar chatting). I came to the bar with my order and there was no apology for not coming over as stated, but I didn't really care and so just ordered my food and another guinness and went back to my seat. I had got about halfway through my drink when the food came.... It was the wrong food. They had brought me a mixed grill instead of the Sirloin I ordered. I told the girl that brought it over that I would happily eat it if they brought just the steak and not the accompanyments that comes with it when it was ready, but she took it all away while laughing at me. She did leave the Onion rings, which was lucky as I was starving, but they tasted really bad (how do you get onion rings to taste bad?). I had eaten the onion rings and finished most my drink when the replacement meal was rushed out to me (If i'm paying the money for a steak, I would prefer it not to be rushed) and that too was awful. The steak was really fatty and because it had been rushed the fat wasn't cooked and the whole thing was really disappointing. To make matters worse, when the manager brought over the replacement food, he didn't bring any cutlery so I was stuck looking at the food I couldn't eat while he finished his conversation with the other staff members, then went and got sauces while getting the cutlery.... I'm very sure he could've brought the cutlery first no? AGAIN, there was no apology or anything offered for all the messups. The guy could obviously tell I wasn't very happy, but didn't care. There was no checkback at all in this whole time I was eating. I really wanted another guinness and a pudding, but because the service was so bad, I really didn't want to spend anymore money. I saw the members of staff on the way out and they all said goodbye to me while chatting at the bar. I then came down for breakfast and barely touched it as it tasted almost as bad as the food from the night before. My main issue was that there was no checkbacks, no apology at all and nothing to try and make up for all the messups. I'm not the type to make it an issue for the staff, but i was very let down by very basic stuff. The room was fine and I enjoyed the sleep, but the whole experience of dinner and breakfast was awful. I stay at Premier inns all the time and this is easily the worst. I know to expect a but less with Premier Inn, and i don't mind this, but I've had a better experience in the worst of the wetherspoons.

My husband and I visited family in Warrington this summer. We booked a two-night stay at the Premier Inn, where we would be within walking distance of family. For the low room-rate, I'll admit that my expectations weren't particularly high. To our surprise (and joy) the hotel was wonderful. The staff was helpful, the room was large and very clean, and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be returning!

Stay here 2/3 nights a week through work. I work nights so the reception staff always give me the furthest room so as no footfall coming past my door to wake me. Staff are all polite, Ian, Lee & Nadine always on hand to help or just a nice chat. Have also booked this Premier Inn privately for weekends away. Would recommend. Great location to see Warrington & surrounding areas.

Food in the adjoining pub used to be quite good but has gone downhill of late and some portion sizes have gotten noticeably smaller

Standard premier inn, make sure you follow the directions as it in Industrial Estate out of the way.
