Skydiver coffee is a hidden gem, the coffee is delicious and home brewed on the Hebrides, the cake and coffee are also fantastic - Skydancer coffee is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Dropped in for a coffee. The owner was very welcoming and took the time to chat with us. The coffee was of an extremely high standard and the home made cake was excellent. North to South, definitely the best coffee on the island!

What a fantastic wee place. We visited on Sunday just as the owners were opening. Lovely folk with a real commitment to great coffee. Not only did we have brilliant coffee but we bought some Brazilian beans and the kind owners gave us a free Brazilian coffee sack. We’ll be back.

Had heard about skydancers waffles. They were absolutely gorgeous topped with caramel sauce... Had coffee as well it was a lovely treat

Best coffee in the Outer Hebrides by a long shot! Roasted right in front of us we got shown the whole process from raw beans to roasted coffee and then drank what I have to say was the smoothest espresso I’ve ever had followed by an americano and a few squares of chocolate that came with the coffee. We left with a bag of beans fresh from the roaster. Amazing coffee and lovely people!

So glad we called by last Friday at 11am, and had our morning coffees at Skydancer. So smooth and rich. This coffee is sold in the Eriskay Community Shop too, so I have now got two bags of different blends to bring home. Nice to meet you Mike and appreciate the chat. All the best to you and yours :)

Sarah and Mike are exceptional people. I was travelling alone and received the warmest of welcomes from them. I cannot recommend their coffee enough - absolutely the smoothest and most full bodied coffee EVER 😃 Sarah also made me a waffle, which was the most ridiculously light and fluffiest I’d eaten (how do you do it Sarah?) and had a scrummy topping of banana, chocolate sauce and chantilly cream. If you are at Lochboisdale make sure to find them, drive past the gift/tourist info shop, along the causeway and they are at far end looking back to ferry terminal. I’ve just had their coffee at Lochmaddy museum - outstanding again and you can order grounds or beans online too. Top marks Sarah and Mike - I’ll be seeing you again when I return to the islands ❤️

Unbeliveable coffee! Only reason we travelled to Lochboisdale was for me to get a decent coffee and it did not disappoint! The hot chocolate was also one of the best! Sarah was lovely and very helpful to select a roast for me to take some coffee beans home too. 100% recommend visiting her and the Skydancer Coffee bar!

Whilst touring around the Outer Hebrides in our motorhome my husband and I came across this little cafe whilst looking for somewhere to have coffee and cake. Once we had arrived Sarah pointed out that her speciality was waffles rather than cake, so we ordered a quartered waffle with four different flavours plus two coffees. Well, what can I say - what an experience! The best coffee and waffles we had ever tasted and it was so nice to have something different! We sat outside and savoured every mouthful! We thoroughly recommend this cafe and wish Sarah and Mike all the best for the future.

We came across Sky Dancer by chance while on holiday. What a lucky chance for us it turned out to be. Not only was the coffee superb and the waffles mouth wateringly good, Sarah and Mike were such lovely people. Sarah went out of her way to ring a friend on Barra and arranged last minute accommodation for us, when we were unable to book a return ferry for the same day back to Eriskay. We thought we were going to have to spend a night in the car or miss out on a day trip to Barra, having been led to believe it wasn't necessary to pre-book this ferry. After little more than half an hour's acquaintance she went to so much trouble for two strangers. So a big thank you to Sarah. This hard working couple deserve every success and Sky Dancer is well worth a visit.

Excellent Espresso. I requested a double shot and it had a lovely mouthfeel. I am new to social media but had to leave various reviews as the coffee was really excellent and a total surprise to find.

Quite possibly the best chocolate cake I've ever had. Only time that comes close is a family friend's rich chocolate cake made about 7 years ago for New Year's, if only for sentimentality's sake. Sarah and Mike were absolutely wonderful to chat to as well; they're kind souls. Please pay them a visit to enrich your heart and stomach!

Came across this incredible place on holiday. If you like coffee this is a must visit. Our coffee was some of the best I have ever tasted and the waffle that accompanied it needed to be seen to be belived. You will not regret taking the time for a visit. Bought some to take home and will be ordering more. The owners were helpful and very friendly.

We popped in to get some brunch. Whilst you cannot currently sit in , we had the most amazing food brought to us in the car, as it was raining. Really good bacon and egg ciabatta rolls. I had a freshly made waffle which was delicious, not those dry eggy tasting things. My partner had chocolate cake which was really a sort of chocolate grenache. I had a brilliant latte and he had earl gray mixed with heather. I bought some freshly ground coffee to take home to my son. The owner is a lively woman who is great fun. Please go and have some fab food and support them in their new business.
