This is no longer skoops but the Royal steakhouse we had a lovely meal there but be warned take your own alcohol very reasonable and a good service nothing was too much trouble we will go again

Really Awesome customer service, they went above and beyond with our order. They were out of certain ingredients of our chosen dessert but were happy to substitute with dearer items at no extra charge.

After loosing Morgan the place really went down hill. Now she’s back, the service is fantastic and the welcoming atmosphere has returned. The desserts have also become amazing again! I can not believe the transformation this place has made.

They got our orders wrong throughout the whole service. They had ran out of ice cream and slush puppoes when we arrived. We ordered 3 waters which didn't arrive and when we asked for it we received sparkling water. Their service was poor and unprofessional. However the deserts (which were missing extras like ice cream) were overall okay.

Doesn't open as stated on Web site at 11.00 no point getting there till about two pm. Prices have gone up since refub that took a year

So a friend and I went after school with our daughters and my friends son We sat down for 25 minutes before someone came over The waiter arrived couldn’t speak English so we pointed at menu he then gave the machine to another member of staff who acted as if she didn’t want to be there Kids drink arrived tasted awful just watery slush very little flavouring Kids icecream arrived on someone else’s plate full of chocolate sauce on the bottom of the glass One of the order items got forgotten so everyone else had nearly finished theirs before the other one arrived £50 later for a waffle , crepe , Sundae , 1 Scoop of icecream , Coffee , Tap water and slush Overpriced and staff not trained to deal with customers

Usually could not fault this restaurant however it has completely gone down hill. Whilst waiting to order our food, there were 2 members of staff (more than able to take our order) standing and just staring. Upon ordering our food, we were informed that to change part of your order e.g. to change white chocolate sauce to milk chocolate we would incur a 60p charge and so on for every change made to the order. The employee taking our order stated that he understood that was silly however he has to and was following ‘managers orders’. Completely disgusted with this restaurant and will not be returning.

Had to pay 60p to take sauce off one of the order, wasn’t adding anything just taking something away. Apparently had to be charged as “per the bosses orders as you’re changing an item on the menu” - 2 other staff members were waiting around doing nothing staring at us whilst we were waiting to be served.

Had a Bannofee Sundae costing 7 quid. Now I like ice cream but this tasted artificial and bland with no hint of banana.Absurdly overpriced for below average ice cream.I had wanted to try this for ages. Now I know why its always looks empty when I drive past.

Last Friday of term. One server, one cooking and no-one else to help. Absolute joke. Asked for my coffee 4 times and still didn't receive it. Avoid.

Skoops is the best place you could be. Their staff are very kind and they treated me very nicely. 5 stars out of 5. It way than anything else. ( Try their American pancakes).

Came in today as a treat for my daughter as she hasn't been well, have been in before and remember commenting that the staff could have been friendly. Well the chap that served us today was amazing. Called my daughter princess, was patient with her choosing, apologetic when it took a little bit longer as the machine was playing up, my daughter was still not feeling 100% so didn't eat much and he offered to pack it up for us later without us even asking. Great chap - we hope to have him again when we next come in. Even felt guilty as only had very little change for a tip.

I ordered cookie dough online and got it raw in some places and burnt in others. When I called and complained about it the woman told me that there's nothing she could do and I should order something else next time. I will never going there again!!!!

Expensive for what you get and waffles quite dry

Avoid at all costs!! Got a takeaway, not only did they give me the wrong order, they left plastic paper on the bottom of my cookie dough which I ate! This place should be shut down immediately, I’ll be phoning trading standards for them to investigate. Not only did I call to complain they had the audacity to not even offer me a refund because I refused to return the cookie dough this evening and waste MORE of my time! I said I had taken photos and will return it tomorrow and they all kept just saying they will change it as if I want to eat anything that comes out of their kitchen!!

Ordered my cookie dough from this place online. They delivered cookie size cookie dough. Yet charged full price. Avoid like the plague. Rude staff rude manager poor quality food poor quality value. Total utter crap!

Levamos as nossas gêmeas de quase 3 anos e elas ficaram fascinadas com as luzes do teto, chamavam de estrelas. O ambiente é diferente, próprio para crianças e jovens. Têm uma variedade de sorvetes, crepes e waffles, provamos o de Nutella, Ferrero Rocher e Morango, todos muito bons. Ainda, o crepe de Nutella veio acompanhado com o sorvete de banana, este por sua vez delicioso! O atendimento foi acolhedor, com garçonetes atenciosas. Lugar limpo. Os preços também são bons. A experiência toda foi muito boa, coloquei como excelente porquê, juntando todos os quesitos, o lugar não teve nada negativo. Super recomendo!

Very stingy with their toppings on the waffles/crepe as a result their waffle/crepes are very dry... tried it couple of times but it doesn’t seem to get better at all. Very disappointing.

Skoops has been closed for a while as they were carrying out major renovation works.The newly reopened restaurant looks great! Double the size.We ordered several items off the menu: Crepe, Waffle, Gelato skoops, coffee.As usual, was great.The staff are also good.The only downside to this restaurant is they don't offer any discounts to students or Emergency Services staff. Most other desserts places DO offer discounts.This would be an improvement the Management could look at.Overall, a better, bigger restaurant, with Management needing to look at providing better customer satisfaction.

I liked what I had - a crepe with strawberry and chocolate. The service was incredibly slow despite the place being empty. Staff didn’t appear to know what they were doing, waitress came to our table with two sundaes and asked which of the two were ours? I nearly feel asleep waiting for the order - unimpressed!

Service is appalling! Struggled to take orders at till, food was over an hour--we had to take as a takeaway in the end and then had to wait another 20 minutes for it to be placed in boxes and a bag. Everyone's orders around us came out incorrect! Will never return.

Slow service, dirty toilet. Ordered an ice cream and a glass of fruit smoothie, full of ice cubes, which tasted like it's been made from potato. A bit disappointing for £17

They have been closed for a year or so for a refurbishment, so only just opened again, and it was a great experience. They are very generous with the sauce on the crepes and waffles, and you feel like you get your money's worth. The milkshakes were huge, and delicious. Staff were friendly. The decor is completely new and looks good. Even the menus feel quality, they have clearly spent some money on the restaurant. The only one downer was the milkshakes arrived about 20 minutes after the food, so by that point we was full and ready to go, but they have literally just opened so there will be teething problems. Plus - they were so delicious, it was worth the wait. Give them a visit - highly recommended if you have a sweet tooth (although they also have a savory menu).

Went on the re opening of the new look Scoops! I had a savoury crepe while my children had sweet cookie dough waffles and we all enjoyed our experience here. Lovely friendly waitress with patience of a saint 🌟

Waffle was dry and over cooked, got the wrong other twice and why is the plate so disproportionate to the food I'm being served???

Went in here with my wife for ice cream and Belgian waffles - all very nice - great addition to Welling high street. Prices were good, as was the service.

Delicious crepes, slightly disappointed to be charged extra for the ice cream which the waitress said was included and the floor was EXTREMELY sticky which was a little off putting. Nice for a treat.

We took our grand children to skoops as a treat before going. Back to school.

This was my first visit the place is lovely and colourful very clean, i ordered the ferrero rocher sundae and my husband the bubblegum sundae. The sundaes arrived quickly the chocolate hazelnut ice cream was AMAZING creamy, and great flavor, my husbands bright blue bubblegum sundae was also great the ice cream was great. The staff were friendly and welcoming its a lovely place, and i will be back again soon, highly recommended.

So we went to skoops for some ice cream. We loved it! The tables were clean the food was scrummy! When we got there thinking it was opened we could just see inside it looked amazing and then we came today and well it was amazing!!!

High calorific but tasty desserts to treat yourself after a good burn out.

Have been here a few times and each time is so different to the last! Nice relaxed atmosphere. I received such a quick service and the presentation is always so good! Would definitely recommend.

This was my third visit and I must say that the place has improved! Before it was rather dirty even though there with quite a few staff behind the counter but they seemed more interested with chatting among themselves or with their mates standing by the counter. Loud music wasn't helping the atmosphere either, you couldn't hear yourself think. When Skoops was suggested today I was rather reluctant and would have happily schlepped to Bexleyheath or even Woolwich (!!!) for the sugar fix. But I was pleasantly surprised. The menu is not huge by any means but that's probably not a bad thing. The place was clean, staff very pleasant, our orders came quickly... Yes, definitely better. I think I'll be back. In a few months, once the sugar rush passes!

We've been here a few times now and the kids love it! BUT the service is inept at times and be prepared for your food to arrive in dribs and drabs and for things to be wrong. Could take a leaf out of the Eltham branches book, their service is impeccable, especially in large groups.

Today my husband purchased 3 slices of sponge cake from the Welling branch of Scoops. Now at nearly £8 for 3 slices of cake in had high hopes!!!! It was so dry it was like eating a slice of toast. The outside was crispy so I thought maybe it had been left out too long and would be better inside - wrong! I tried to eat it with a fork but actually needed a knife to cut through it. Extremely disappointed and won't be going there again.

We previously went to the restaurant the week it opened. The queues were long, but we didn't mind as we're excited to try it. That time we were not impressed by the service but put it down to the opening. The pancakes were good with lots of toppings. This time however I really wish we hadn't of bothered. The place was only half full. We were shown to a table and ordered. Half an hour later my sons pancake arrived. It was covered in a thick syrup, which was meant to taste of chocolate but it didn't. Just a sugary overly sweet taste. It was also covered in lots of crushed m and m's. He tried to scrap them off, but it was so thick he couldn't and was left only able to eat the tiny amount of pancake around the edge. Also it said it came with vanilla ice cream, we assumed this would be the gelato it was famous for, but no it came with a tiny bowl of a Mr whippy like substance that had no taste. His chocolate milkshake had so much syrup in it after a few sips he thought he was going to be sick. I ordered a piece of caramel tart, it took 45 minutes for it to come. It was ok but the caramel is so thin it had barely any taste. I also ordered a tea. I asked for it a number of times, in the end after 50 minutes and being ready to leave I went back to the front desk to ask for it. Finally a weak semi cold tea arrived! Massive disappointment, my son could barely eat anything. It cost £13 in total! Total waste of money. Also they charge £3 for a slice of cake. These cakes are from Worths bakery at the other end of the high street, do yourself a favour and walk down to the bakery where you can buy a piece of exactly the same cake for £1.20. They really do delicious cakes at Worths.

My wife and I decided to visit here on the way home after a meal at Noodle City as the place looked good and quite new. And the decor is very good, perfect for a place called 'Scoops'. Sparkly pink walls and pink and black leather high backed booths. The hanging lights in giant black lampshades were all switched off however meaning it was a little dark. The music was too loud as well and perhaps it was because it was the school holidays but there were too many screaming kids running around for our liking. We had no sooner sat down though before we were being asked for our order when we hadn't even seen a menu. And then we had to order back up at the counter. And then as mentioned in other reviews our deserts arrived at different times, even if mine was only a little later afterwards, 'little' is a relevant term when you're dealing with ice cream. After all, no one wants his or hers Ice cream to melt while waiting for someone else right? In the end we left feeling a little disappointed. All a good concept but a little falling down in practice.

Went with my Wife and two grand daughters for a special treat. Wish we had gone elsewhere in the end. Service wasn't very impressive, staff appeared very disinterested and not motivated in any way. I ordered pancakes with bananas and ice cream with maple syrup. To be fair the ice cream was lovely. However the maple syrup appeared to be watered down ordinary syrup. The pancakes were a stodgy mess. I left three quarters of it but waitress failed to ask me why? My wifes dessert wasnt any better and she left more than me.

Love it here, always get a table and deserts come promptly. Quite reasonable for prices although drinks are quite expensive there. You have to order at the front and pay then and then they bring it to you. Great. Only downside is there is one toilet but they are expanding so may get more toilets.

Oreo cake is more like oreo moose and it's rank.. waffles are nice and fluffy.. place was dirty though and sticky tables.. won't be in a rush to go back

This was my 2nd visit to the establishment and I have to say I was majorly disappointed. I was actually looking forward to it for days only to be let down so badly that I will never come back again.

Quick service, well presented desserts

Yummy Italian style ice cream in the centre of London. The family loved it. Personally I don't do ice-cream but if I did this'd be the hang out.

Me and my girlfriend came here for a take away, service was happy and helpful. Steph who served was very easy to talk to and helped us decide what to get, the food came and was still really nice by the time we got home. Definitely children friendly and will be going back soon!

Took the children there for a little treat.. Had to queue to get in but was not long before we were seated. Fab interior. Glitter and shimmer everywhere - even the toilets! Waffles and ice cream were lovely. So were the milkshakes.. Will go again, although could potentially see a problem with the older teenagers hanging out there. A nice place to go with the young ones once they have eaten their dinner (and all their veg). Not so great if you are on weightwatchers!

I've been here a few times now and I've never been let down with the desserts. I've had the waffles and the crepes and they have both been really good. The staff seem a little disorganized and frantic when it's busy but they're friendly and do what they can to help.

We arrived on a Friday early evening after and was seated upon arrival without waiting. Was asked if it was our first visit, which it was, who then explained that we ordered from the till. No issues with ordering our waffle with Nutella and ice cream with an extra scoop of ice cream and it tasted fine. If they used an alternative to Nutella then I must admit I didn't notice as other reviewers have said. Service was quick with out dessert arriving within 10 mins. No issues with establishment and could see they were expanding into the next shop. Music was loud but could still have a conversation with my partner.

Ordered food to take out and wasn't even my order that I took home with me! Whatever it was, wasn't as nice as what I thought it was going to be! Most probably will not return! The decorative side of things is outstanding to be fair!

So when queuing noticed the "chef" didn't wash his hands once even after wiping sweat from his head. He wasn't wearing gloves or apron too. Finally got to the till to order and asked why when all the staff are wearing aprons and a uniform the chef wasn't and was not following the basic rules of food hygiene. Their reply was he's the boss! I don't care! Complete lack of respect for their customers and the hygiene.

The ice cream was nice but that's where the compliments end. Aside from the fact that it's as dark as a cave the music was so loud I could not hear my son speaking to me. The lyrics of the music playing were explicit and seeing as it is a 'family friendly' venue I find this appalling. I am a little confused as to why a waiter is available to take you to your table but cannot take your order? There is only one till with people queing in different directions. Chaos is an understatement. It's a shame as the dessert was nice, someone needs to step in and make some changes. Until then I will not be going back!
