The best visit to a Pizza Express I've had in a long time. We felt really at ease and the service was top notch. The restaurant was clean and welcoming.

Brilliant service and good food. Great location too. The only thing I would add is that there was no water in the baby changing toilet. Apart from that it was a very good experience. Atmosphere is calm and pleasant.

Haven't been to Pizza Express for awhile and was shocked to see the price of everything. Took the children for a treat, but we had to hold back on the desserts and 2nd drinks as the mains priced us out. My fault, as probably should have looked before going.

the Just Eat app is telling me my food was delivered 20 minutes ago but I am still waiting for it. not impressed

You have to tell your drivers to use just eat app to find the address. Google and Waze are showing it wrong , that’s why I’ve put the point on the map in the just eat app. We are constantly chasing drivers around the area and orders are arriving cold.

Fast and cool service with beauty and ambience

Food was excellent and the delivery driver was friendly, followed instructions and was fast.

No sauce with the Arancini as advertised. Standard cheese on pizza rather than vegan. Lukewarm.

Pizza express, good pizzas, you know what your getting. Also download the app and you get free dough balls for your first meal and if you go regularly there is always a voucher. Price can be expensive very quickly if you add in lots of items, good value kids menu. Service was good and no complaints from the kids so what more do I need?

Really enjoyed my time at pizza express sidcup! The food came quick even though the resturant was busy and the quality was perfect! Will definitely be returning!

Really awful customer service at this Pizza Express. Watch out for all the hidden extra charges and then the waiting staff shrugging their shoulders.

Ordered through Deliveroo. The restaurant didn’t give the driver our whole order. Rung the restaurant and their response was “sorry we missed out 2 pizza ask Deliveroo for a refund” Shocking. Thankfully the driver went back for us.

Order arrived 2 hours after order was submitted. Called the restaurant and they said the food was ready long - they were waiting for a driver. In the app it said the foot was being prepared and the driver was there. Pizzas arrived and were cold and congealed. Absolutely disgusting. Appalling - I expect nothing less than a full refund.

The food was cold, pizza uncut, gave me gluten free dough balls although I didn't order them. Kept pushing back delivery so ended up being about 1 hour 50 mins after I placed the order. Tried to ring twice without anyone answering. Very poor

Booked a children's birthday (8th) pizza making party for 8 children and I can't rate this highly enough. Our host ran the whole event really well with a quick fun quiz to start, followed by hands on pizza making in several stages that was explained well and help offered when needed. Plenty of food included alongside the self made pizzas and nobody was left hungry. This whole thing was done in advance of restaurant opening and tucked away at the back so there didn't feel like the pressure we were making too much noise (and mess) which is great. We've never done anything like this for a party before but so glad we did.

The toppings on one of the pizzas were completely to one side therefore it was an empty base. Did not taste great from what I could salvage. I threw it away

Had a great meal yesterday at Sidcup. Best pizzas we have had in a long time cooked to perfection. Our waitress Lillie was very friendly, polite and like all the staff there worked very hard to give us fantastic service. It was busy but the ambience was nice and relaxing. We will definitely return. Thank you.

We were a big group (15 of us) and admittedly a bit hectic! Our server (Jess) was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole thing, she got our orders quickly and was really accommodating throughout the entire experience. Thank you so much!

Driver went the wrong way for 30 mins. Then went to another house on the street with our food. Then drove down the pavement and nearly hit some people. Then I had to go out to cheat the food because he wouldn’t get off his bike

We only ordered two pizzas an they were delivered almost an hour and a half later than originally specified. The delivery time was put back 4 times. It was particularly infuriating that there was no way to contact Just Eat about it. The website is useless and a phone call simply told me to go to the web site. Calls to the restaurant were unanswered, This is my second such experience when ordering from Pizza Express via Just Eat. There will not be a third.

Poor value. Slow service. Xmas set menu is £26pp for 3 courses. Got dough ball starter with 4 marble sized doughballs. Main was a thin overcooked 8” pepperoni pizza. Dessert was a 3”cheesecake dish 1” high. Pizza express then add VAT and then 10% service charge on top of that. Had better quality at half the price elsewhere locally.

Great value deal and good food only on disappointment- only half a buffalo mozzarella ball in my starter, otherwise an enjoyable treat.

I ordered dinner for two. The order came more than 2 hours after it was placed and more than an hour over the estimated delivery time. When I called the restaurant they said they were very busy and no compensation was offered, even when I asked (they just said to speak to the delivery company). When the food finally arrived it was really cold and hard, completely disgusting. Really horrible experience.

Incorrect order again, don’t know why we ever bother

Why would you put garlic butter in the bag with no dough balls! Not the first time this has happened.

Great pizza as always but was not hot by the time it arrived so lost a star unfortunately.

All good, pizza was excelent and employees deserved 10 out of 10. Only negative point was that the cleaning room close to the reception was a but opened, so having you dinner looking at brooms and cleaning equipment took a bit of the atmosphere, but otherwise perfect. Want to visit again.

Me and a large group of friends have visited this restaurant on multiple occasions. We have all been thoroughly impressed by the superb service throughout. Whether from a manager or waiter, we can rely on them to provide us with a great meal and experience. Will definitely go again!

Visited here with a larger group of friends and we had a lovely time. Manager was super accommodating with my specific order (I was craving a hawaiian but can’t handle hot food so had to get specific toppings) and the pizza turned out so lovely! Had my favourite garlic bread with mozzarella which was incredible and finished with a fab sundae I shared with a friend. Staff kept kindly refilling our water and were lovely considering how late we had arrived (I think we were the last table there that night bless them). Toilets were clean and atmosphere was very relaxing despite a birthday group being there (they were tabled in a different section so that was very considerate haha thanks). Definitely going again!

Don’t order from here. Placed an order for collection only to go there and be told it’ll be at least half an hour as they’re short staffed. Waited a bit but realised it may take much longer with the way things were looking so asked for a refund. The manager was apparently on the phone to customer service to tell them to sort whatever out since the kitchen was in a mess. He then said he’d have to speak to them to issue the refund since the order was placed online. I asked if I could go home and give him a call instead so I can sort out dinner for the baby in the meantime and he said he’d need me to wait and do it there. Through all this; he had a horrible tone of voice and was practically having a go at me for trying to sort this out. His phone to CS hung up for which he blamed Me saying “they hung up because I was talking to you” - excuse me?! You’re just annoyed your restaurant is in mess. Why does he think it’s okay to treat his customers like this just because his kitchen is messed up? This “kitchen not working” has happened a couple of other times previously too but we gave the restaurant one more chance, big mistake. Horrible manager.

I celebrated my birthday here with around 12 friends and we were all thoroughly impressed with the food and hospitality we received. We had ordered a lot of food and it was all served to us with no delays or mistakes. We had staff checking on us from time to time if we needed anything and everyone was so kind and helpful! I will definitely be returning!

Ordered a Rasberry & Elderberry cider Got a raspberry appletiser. I get mistakes are made So got it changed. They bought back summer berries and something else. And said that’s what you get now Which is illegal to give someone something different to what they asked for , not once did anyone come ask how our meals was I left a whole dish of over cooked garlic mushrooms that were cold The waiter came and said is that everything. Looked at the full dish and picked them up and walked away. Now if he isn’t going to ask what’s wrong with the dish. The I certainly won’t tell him. I’d rather put a bad review This place is the worst pizza express we’ve been too. It’s out 4th time here They just can’t seem to get it right. We run a restaurant locally. So we understand it’s hard out there. But too much going wrong here. Our one night off together ruined by bad food and service

Well what can I say, ordered after booking a table, drinks order was wrong, ordered a cider raspberry and Elderflower, got brought a raspberry green bottle. Advised wrong product had been brought and that the cider had been ordered. Product taken away, and a completely different flavour brought to the table. I advised that wasn’t what I had ordered to be told, the menu has just changed and that’s all we have, I pointed out that this is actual fact passing off, which is illegal. The drink was taken back. Ordered and the food came out. Everything we ordered apart from the garlic mushrooms over cooked, black, rubber texture and en-edible. No check back done at our table, until the plates were cleared and at that point no one had questioned the uneaten garlic mushrooms. Very disappointed. Like a Fool still paid my bill, I doubt we will return back to this restaurant.

This comment is about two subsequent Orders - which I could not comment on - both cancelled. 13.7 and 21.7, impossible to ascertain why ? I am very close to ceasing to use Pizza Express, less of an Express, more a rusting locomotive in the Engine Shed.

My partners calzone was pre made and just full of chilli's which made it hot and tasted of nothing else the same with the garlic King prawns so not impressed.

Very disappointed. I've been a fan of Pizza Express for many years but that has now changed. Clearly cost cutting on ingredients which leaves the pizzas lacking flavour. This is especially true of the base tomato sauce and cheese. The costs have also increased so getting less and costing more. Won't be back.

Absolutely ridiculous delivery, first cancelled and the second arrived hours late and freezing cold

pizza is really tiny for 14” and so skinny you can see through the base definitely not worth it

Ordered from Deliveroo. Called the store to try and get a fix on the pizzas. Spoke to a lovely manager called Lancelot who rather than being a Knight in shining armour had the customer services ability of an ogre covered in mud. Don't order from here or just ask the store to have managers who like their job and can do it better than who we had the misfortune to deal with.

We eat at pizza express a lot, various branches around the country. This one is local and we like it. Service was a little slow and lacking this time, but still good and has been excellent in the past. Same good food and nice atmosphere though

The dip for the halloumi bites was missing. Otherwise it was good.

Sidcup branch was not busy at 4.30 in the afternoon but soon filled. Food was up to the usual standard as were the drinks. Shame about the amount of dust above us on the vents!....the whole place really needs a bit of a refurbish.
