Zizzi ( Bexleyheath) in Bexley

My husband and I decided to come for lunch yesterday. Our visit was lovely . The food the staff and service were all good. The atmosphere was good too.

I am a repeat customer of this restaurant and they never disappoint. The team is always friendly and helpful, and the food is outstanding. I’ve recommended them to all my friends and family, and I will continue to do so!

Amazing food, very helpful staff

Pizza was very good even if mine was gluten and meat free. Staff is friendly and they gave me the allergen menu to be sure what I’m ordering contains only what I’m allowed to eat as I have a lot of food restrictions besides the Coelic disease. We will definitely go again.

Ordered the sausage lasagne via Uber Eats and the item that arrived was not as described. Photo on the app was a really nice lasagne, rectangular with melted cheese on top and what arrived was a round box, slightly burnt with dry, cold cheese flakes on top. Ate as nothing else was in the house to eat but it was disgusting. For £20 for one item through the app I’m totally shocked and disgusted. Would expect more and will never order from here again.

I was nervous to walk in and see a new menu as I have dietary requirements and could only have one dish of each course on the previous menu. Shouldn't have worried! Staff didn't panic this time when I said I had intolerances and gave me multiple ways to access the allergen information. Much more choice now and the dairy free soya free cheesecake was absolutely delicious.

Food is usually ok not the most filling but it will do. Very dead in there and music sounds like you have been left on hold for hours. Our waiter was great until he had to go home at 10 then Agenes took over our table as were eating out food we hear her ask the table behind for a tip and say 10% is that ok? Once we finished I asked for the bill and she asked the same thing and her name was down on the bill not even our server, this isnt the first time this has happened as we have been there 3 times and this has happened. From someone that is the manager of a place like that you would expect for them to know better.

Had a great time with my other half. Very pleased with the food, and especially the service. Special thanks to Agnes for making our evening very pleasant.

Very fast service, good food and good atmosphere. The staff is friendly. Every time I pass in front of Zizzi, the restaurant is always full. A good sign that there is something good going on. Today I tried and I approved.

We had lunch at Zizzi Bexleyheath at the weekend with a group of children and I was very pleased with the experience. The service from the manager and our waitress was friendly and efficient. They made sure everything went well for the children. The thin pizza was very tasty. I will be going back.

Really good food and came really fast too. The waitress was absolutely lovely she got our huge order really fast and gave food advice on what to pick. Thank you so much 🙏🏽 Definitely will be coming back.

Prawn linguine was horrible prawns fishy not fresh sauce like tomatoes soup in tin no flavour. Chicken awful microwave reheated. Pizza wasn't worst but rest was terrible AVOID!!!

Service was fantastic and really added to the overall dining experience. All the food looked great but I especially enjoyed the calamari and the smoked salmon carbonara

Do not bother to order Spaghetti Bolognaise unless you are happy with Bolognaise flavoured spaghetti … Absolutely no actual meat in the dish… Absolute rip off .. I feel I have been mugged !! 🤬🤬

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered. Don’t even bother with the Spaghetti Bolognaise…. You might as well order flavoured pasta … Absolutely zero meat in the bolognaise… absolutely rubbish….

Food was terrible. All the pastas seemed microwaved! Will choose not go to a zizzi restaurant again.

Very good service! Wasn’t very keen on the Paella,rice wasn’t cooked and it was very hard to chew. Also the green pesto was making it very oily and gross! I had a starter witch was nice and also desert was amazing. A little disappointed that the main wasn’t nice ,was hoping to be nice as it was new to the menu!

If you have a prawn allergy your choices are restricted as they us the same oil for everything, so you can’t have calamari or the complimentary can’t eat it snack! They offered to cook my sea bass separately, and it was like cardboard! I had to order separately from my family like a pariah! I left half my lunch (and I only ate half because we were booked to see Oppenheimer and didn’t have time to go elsewhere. With a half full plate, no one asked if the food was ok (clearly it wasn’t snd they didn’t want to know) and I had to go up to the three servers stood chatting to ask for another coke as the waitress took the empty bottle next to my empty glass, didn’t ask if I wanted another (this was after my starter and before my main so highly likely I would want another!) and when I asked for another ignored me and went to chat to her chums. Shocking!!

My husband and I just enjoyed a delicious meal at Zizzi Bexleyheath. I had sea bass and he he had calzone, gorgeous. For dessert, I had berry and cherry sundae (unusual blackcurrant mascarpone/lemon meringue ice-cream with cherry compote) and husband had lemon chocolate cheesecake. Really delicious. Would highly recommend.

Visited today for Mother’s Day. Myself, husband, and our 2 grown up children. Had booked and were immediately shown to a nice table in the window as we arrived. Attentive service, great cocktails. Food was excellent and the Mother’s Day 3-course menu a very reasonable price. No complaints at all, everything was excellent. Thank you.

Some days ago, my mother and I dined at Zizzi’s to celebrate her recent career progression. We arrived without prior booking at 5:50pm on a Monday evening, at which point it was quiet and cavernous, with a choice of seating. We ordered the mozzarella garlic bread and fried calamari with aioli, drizzled with lemon for starters, to share. They both arrived promptly and were flavoursome without compromising quantity. Not only, was the mozzarella garlic bread simultaneously crisp yet fluffy, oily and salty, and heated to a pleasant degree. But also, the fried calamari was battered aptly, without sacrificing the quantity of the calamari. Soon after, we were met with our own generous dish of prawn linguini, topped with rocket. The linguini was twirled into a neat formation, with a mix of textures. While, the the tomato sauce was smooth and subtly rich, ample for the multiple hot linguini strips, the shaved courgette added a fine crunch, and the prawns constituted to a meaty density. However, within an hour, the restaurant was almost full, with the multitude of loudening conversations making it difficult to hear. Therefore, I would recommend eating early if you are someone who prefers a quieter experience. Also, although I was a student with a discount card, giving me access to 30% off on that particular instance. It is worthy to note that this is likely to be a somewhat costly evening, if you are someone who will order more than one course, or if you are a family, paying for multiple people.

First time and last time. Service was slow. Most food wasn’t available on the menu. Got a window seat and it was freezing. Took ages to get a drink and wasn’t busy at all. Desert was a takeaway only to find it was half eaten. Waiting waiter chat up customers whilst waiting for my drink. Very poor. Wouldnt go to this place ever again.

7 family members went for a meal on Father's Day, very pleasantly surprised to find that the menu has been changed and has much more choice. The last time we visited a Zizzi restaurant was November 2021 so it has changed in the meantime. The meals were all nicely presented, food was hot and delicious. Although the restaurant was busy we didn't have to wait very long for drinks orders to be taken. The staff were lovely also. Highly recommended. Only thing is it is not card payments only which is a bit annoying!

Visited this place a few times, always great service even when busy. Food is always to a good standard and drinks come quite quickly.

Despite this branch being relatively local, we hadn't been here for a while, so were glad to return. My favourite dish- Ravioli di Capra- is still on the menu and my daughter really enjoyed her pizza with jack fruit. The garlic bread starter was delicious too, and the Trebbiano was a nice accompaniment. I was pleased to see some new vegetarian/vegan additions to the menu, so we'll try some of these next time! Service was pleasant and friendly and the restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere.

Well that was absolutely rubbish, what’s happened Zizzis??? Kids dishes were slightly off, bolognaise wasn’t tasting right, Our other dish was the Casereccia Pollo piccante had no flavour at all and should be spicy as standard. More flavour in our soul breads, also DON’T take cash to pay for your meal as they won’t accept it. Also you can avoid the your server or you just can’t wait to be served you can use their speedy order app just like in lockdown.

Totally ruined my daughters 18th birthday meal. I ordered the Rigatoni Pesto Rosso Pasta. Normally, its a different type of pasta (tho pasta is pasta to me so, not too fussed), fresh shredded chicken with its amazing Creme Fraise sauce with a slight spicy kick....today it was cold, chunks of chicken (that's neatly chopped into squares like the frozen bags of chicken chunks you can buy), and not thoroughly cooked. Definitely not tasting the same either. And my daughters Margherita pizza was stone cold too biy tasted okay after being warmed up. From my fave place to the worst after today.

Amazing service- when they found out one of our 11-person party was in a wheelchair they instantly moved our entire table to one on the ground level, and the whole staff were super attentive. Thanks so much for making my grandma's birthday so lovely! ❤️

I had avoided Zizzi over the past few years due to a bad experience at the Greenwich branch. We decided to give it a go tonight prior to a trip to the cinema and had a really lovely time. The staff were attentive and helpful, the food was great. The restaurant was clean. The location is also r also really conveniently Overall 5/5 experience, would recommend.

Enjoyed the food but the service was awfully slow. (Not busy - there were only 6 other tables with customers). Waited 15 minutes for drinks, then it took at least 10 minutes for them to take our plates away after we finished our starters and waited another 15 minutes for mains. Will go again as the food was lovely and have a tastecard to use for a discount, but the slow service was very annoying.

Sadly in 2 months they went from 5 stars to 1. Waiting time for pizza very long as well amount of ingredients on pizza very poor.

Went here for the gluten free options (which there were quite a few of) but they had barely anything in stock 🙃 waitress was lovely and the restaurant is beautiful so would definitely recommend but if you are gluten intolerant maybe call ahead. I'll be coming here again 😁

Great service from a chain restaurant and the food came out really quickly for our group of 7. The dessert was super lovely as well ?gold sundae. There is a car park right next to the restaurant which is free after 6pm.

Service was good but sadly food was not. Pizza and Calzone were quite dry, rather disappointing. Also think the menu is too overloaded eith spice. Not everyone likes or can eat everything loaded with chilli ot harissa.

staff are amazing, and very welcoming. but the food is just 4/10 at most. the pasta is very soggy, feels like it's been cooked more than twice. the pizza salami is ok, but the base taste like harden biscuits. very disappointing.

Ordered vegan speghetti twists with ratatouille. Twists were under cooked tea was weak. Not a good experience for first time visit.

Lovely friendly staff. We ordered a Spaghetti bolagnese for our kids which they enjoyed. I ordered a bruschetta which was shockingly very small for the price (compared to other restaurants like Prezzo and Pizza Express) and served on a very ordinary sliced garlic bread - but the end bit, not the soft middle. Gutted. I think a better description on the menu would have helped me choose something else. It was ok but wouldn't by such a small bruschetta again for the price of £6.50.

Good quality food but do not understand why we have to order on the app when you have staff to wait on tables. App clunky and slow and took away from the experience.

Good food and well served but the ladies toilets were a bit of a mess when we went. It was explained to us that they had a difficult night said sorry and gave us some free sweets after explaining a valid reason for the mess in the ladies.

Lovely clean restaurant was very spaced out and airy which was wonderful for the weather, ordered via phone which was fast and didn't have to wait long. Staff were happy and very friendly. Food was hot and tasted amazing.

I took my Daughter for a little treat for achieving well at school. Tried on the off chance didn't have a reservation. But was shown to a table and not rushed at a busy time of the evening. All the staff were great at the bexleyheath branch. Very attentive and eager to help. Filled in the covid app as i was seated and as is currently required which was very painless. The food was hot and very tasty we were offered some new pasta crisps/chip which was also very nice. All the staff were lovely. I would absolutely be returning to Zizzi in Bexleyheath when I'm back in the area. My daughter loved her food too. She couldn't finish due to generous portions but she had the rest put into a box and she ate it when we got home after around 2 hours later. Thank you to all the staff at Zizzi's Bexleyheath its a easy recommendation from me. ohh nearly forgot! The price was very reasonable too. :)

Went to collect my valentines meal here last Sunday and was appalled by the lack of social distancing ! Crammed into a small area perhaps 6x6 were approx 5 delivery drivers and then me having to ask for my order . This is such poor management the restaurant is huge and could have easily organised something better and have put the health and safety of myself and the delivery drivers at risk! I was promised a call by the area manager who has t bothered to call me so when they reopen I will notbother bringing my friends and family here like I once did . Perhaps this needs reporting to the local council so the workers are protected better !
