Zizzi ( Bexleyheath) in Bexley

Awful delivery time. Waited 2 hours for the food and it was cold, the pizza was squashed to one side and the lasagnewas packed terribly it had leaked in the bag. I called Zizzi's multiple times for an update but they would not pick up.

Awful awful awful - after waiting over 1 hour and 40mins for delivery from confirmation (after estimated delivery time 35-40mins) food was cold and bland!

Not good at all. 1 starter came 12mins after the rest. 2 wrong dishes. 1 pizza missing toppings. 1 cheese not even melted on the pizza because trying to rush it out.

First time having zizi’s Firat recommended the king prawn starter which was lovely He was was very kind and warm Will be back.

Fantastic lunch. Food is always great in there and service is fantastic. Place to go with the whole family.

Nice little restaurant in Bexleyheath next door to cineworld sevice was fantastic had a lovely pizza with all the toppings highly recommended nice atmosphere good for a quick bite or work functions.

Had lunch at Zizzi, Bexleyheath today with an old schoolfriend. Oh wow! What a fantastic pizza!!! Gorgeous food - we ordered from the 2 course set lunch menu, great value for money and a wonderfully friendly, funny waiter...made the experience so much fun on what turned out to be a very rainy day. Highly recommend this place. Definitely going there again.

Visit Zizzi 1/2 times per month and always have fantastic service The staff are friendly ( apart from the one with short blonde hair she’s like Miss trunchball and almost tells us off !! Quite rude ) This weekend we went for daughters birthday- the place was busier than I’ve ever seem so thought there may be a delay - no delay which was great The only negative was the chicken pasta dishes had a lot less chicken in - one meal only had 3 small torn pieces in - the second had 4 and the 3 had 3 and a couple of stands - we usually get 6 decent pieces this was well below standard but assume because was so busy had to spread to stock further - would have preferred an alternative dish if I had known as I basically had a bowl of spicy pasta

Mimi gave us exceptional service for a large table of 15 people and very patient with our orders. There were issues with one of the dishes which had to go back in twice, but the third time we had changed the dish and the meal was on the house.

We had movie tickets booked for the cinema next to Zizzi. We arrived and ordered over an hour before the movie was due to start. The food arrived just as the movie was starting - this after having to chase the staff three times, who kept saying “it’ll be with you shortly.” The kitchen staff seemed more occupied with fulfilling takeaway orders and in-restaurant customers! Will not be visiting again.

I have come here with my family today and as I’ve walked in I’ve had to wait 25 minutes just for table to be seated at. The lady comes over in short blonde hair shouting that we have only two staff members and you will have to wait 40 minutes for your food. The wait wasent the problem But it’s the way she spoke and I have to tell her to breathe start again. So rude… loud and running the place like a chicken has bit her bottom..couldn’t get a word in and matters can be said differently with just abit of politeness and common sense. She’s lost 5 customers. Won’t come here again!

Every time my husband and I visit Zizzi in Bexleyheath, we are treated to wonderful service and delightful food. The staff is friendly and the 3-course option is easily one of the best deals I've seen at a restaurant.

Personally, Zizzi is one of my favourite places to go. I come to the Zizzi in bexleyheath very often and every single time I’ve had issues, but knowing the business of a restaurant myself I have given them the benefit of the doubt due to it being a very difficult workplace. Unfortunately, my visit today has set me over the edge. Myself and two friends came into the restaurant which was near to empty and ordered the food as soon as we sat down (same food as always) and had to wait 40 minutes for our starter and another 40 minutes after for our mains. I have an allergy so I understand the more difficult prepping for making my food. But as standards go in a restaurant you should be insuring that even if a mean is an allergy, don’t make the customer wait longer. To top this all off, my food came burnt which showed to me the lack of care and attentiveness for cooking our meals. I ended up having to pay full price which was almost £70 for our meals after waiting so long for each item and having it be burnt. Utterly dissatisfied and disappointed. Will now never be returning.

won’t be coming here again. been here many times and it’s gone more and more down hill after every visit. lasagnas come out different every time and final straw was having to wait 40 mins for a starter, and another 40 for mains in a practically empty restaurant while other people who came in after us already had both meals. never a friendly environment either. Had an issue with my main last time and manager said they would take it off the bill, but they didn’t. This time I complained about the wait time and fact that one meal was burnt and waiter said he would see what he could do. nothing was done, left having to pay full price for an awful service.

Order place at 16:59, confirmed ar 17:11. Delivered at 18:34, cold. I live 10-15 minutes distance. I called the restaurant twice while waiting, long story short the restaurant blames the driver, the driver blames the restaurant. Very disappointed.

I really like Bexleyheath Zizzi. It’s always very welcoming and the food is lovely. Staff are really hardworking and caring - special shout out to Luke who has been our host a couple of times now and is super friendly and professional. An ask to keep the beetroot Gnocchi pasta bake on the menu full time and not just Xmas pls! :)

El tiempo perdido fue a cenar 1 hora y media antes de una cita en el cine, pero después de esperar 55 minutos no llegó la red y se le dijo que sería mucho más largo, ya que estaban cocinando entrantes para una mesa de fiesta de 65 plazas y también estaban priorizando la entrega. Personal amable y agradable, sin embargo, que no puede ser culpado, pero parecía un poco confundido a veces. Al final tuvimos que irnos sin nuestra red y nos quedamos muy decepcionados sin descuento en mi factura. Dato curioso después de ver la película (2 horas y media de duración) pasamos por este restaurante para ver salir esa misma fiesta así que quién sabe cuándo habría llegado nuestra red principal.

Loved the interior design, dark colours but still bright & quirky. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We tried out the lasagne & Pinoli pizza which were both lovely.

...we had a very disappointing visit here yesterday evening (saturday 23 november 2024) after watching a movie next door ...we sat down and orders were taken, the drinks and starters for kids menu was served promptly but our pizza's were taking forever ...after about 45 minutes we asked the waiter what's taking so long and he went to check - at that point he came back to tell us the kitchen says they've run out of pizza and can only do pasta ...for starters how does an Italian place run out of pizza at 7pm on a Saturday evening and secondly until we asked for our late food no one bothered to tell us that what we ordered wasn't available (surely the kitchen knew this when the order went through) ...was very annoyed as the only option the waiter gave was to order pasta (which we didn't want) or walk out without paying for the drinks - not even a proper apology from the manager, who just waved us bye at the door ...this left us with a very hungry child and trying to find somewhere else nearby with seats at 8pm on a Saturday!

Really good food lived the new lobster prawn pasta . Will be back for that , Service was also very good . Although the men’s toilets were absolutely disgusting there was poo all over the cubicles . The toilets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned properly in ages . Also the tables felt dirty when we sat down , very sticky to touch .

Had to wait for an hour just to get starters then we were being rushed and asked for dessert orders while we were still eating mains. One order was wrong and one order was given to another table. Extremely disappointing service

Ordered from here on deliveroo tonight. The food was over an hour later than they said it would be, this was down to the restaurant not driver. And when the food came the pasta had 0 sauce on it and tasted disgusting. I have ordered this same dish from here many times in the past and it was ok, a bit bland but I jazz it up at home with some seasoning and cheese. Lately it’s really gone down hill, and tonight was just a joke. The chips with bolognese I ordered looked like it had been sat out for hours and had darkened and CONGEALED on top and it was stone cold. The dessert which I have ordered before, was just as disappointing and half the size it used to be + 25% more expensive. Massive let down! Don’t bother!

Two staff members were handling dine-in customers, deliveries and checkout (extremely busy). There were three chefs in the kitchen but all of them are friendly. The food quality was average for the price. ▪︎Calamari was tasteless and non crispy but the wild garlic aioli was good. ▪︎Spicy harissa chicken breast was good. ▪︎King Prawn Linguine was very ordinary. I can cook better , just kidding 😛 Note: They accepted Tesco Clubcard voucher for A la carte without drinks.

Very bad toilet stinks like poo

This order never arrived!! I called Zizzi’s at 20 past six to complain and they said they were waiting on a driver who never appeared. I continually checked the app and even at 19:20 it said it was due for delivery between 17:50-18:10.

Wonderful lunch, friendly staff who gave us plenty of time to enjoy a lunch Italian style! Great food, the Xmas menu is fabulous!

Almost walked out without paying... After sitting down, we had our order taken. As it was very quick after sitting down. I asked if they sell pints of beer. The waiter replied with "we don't do pints". However I quickly saw that they sell pint sized bottles, and said ill have that instead as its a pint. Once we recieved our food, i asked for some garlic sauce or sour cream for the super dry pizza. Received a "we don't have that". So surely as waiter in a resturant is your job to perhaps offer a substitute if you "don't have that". We had to name every type of sauce before the waiter said "yeah we have that" being garlic butter. (Bearing in mind there's 2 of us, the waiter brings over what seemed like a tea spoon of garlic butter in one pot). After the food was finished. And the empty plates wete collected. We sat for 30 to 40 minutes wondering when the desert option or at least the bill would come round. No sign of any waiter anywhere. So we stood up and were about to leave. Then what I presume was a "manager" came running over to ask if we are going to pay. So we replied with how? Aparenlty you have yo use an app after scanning a code that's hidden by fake flowers on your table. Also, you have to skip at least 3 different tips/giving steps before you can pay and leave.... we live in a world now where customer services doesn't exist. As a young 18 year old I worked in restaurants and would juggle for tips if I had to. Nowadays it's expected almost.

Lovely place, not been for a few years but they have kept the interior fresh and nice, staff were lovely, we hit it at 12 for lunch so not many customers but suits us fine. Our 5 year old munched his way through the three course bambini menu no issues. Wagyu Rustica and chicken salad were both spot on.

It's very possible that I just ordered the wrong things. I arrived starved and excited to eat (especially a salad because salad options are limited in this area). Not only did the fondue come with bland, flavorless bread, but the butternut squash salad featured still-frozen slices of unseasoned squash on my plate. It was like these were remnants of a salad bar scraped together and taste was an afterthought. The kale wasn't present, neither was the hummus. Definitely not worth even half of 14£. But the staff was kind and attentive, and my water carafe was cool. Can you tell I don't like leaving bad reviews? But if a restaurant serves food and fails to do a good job, it is good to warn others. If you're here, probably should just stick to the pasta.

Visitado el 21 / 11 / 24 a un restaurante bastante ocupado, no hay problema con conseguir una mesa y pedidos tomados rápidamente. Mientras estaba sentada frente a la cocina era natural mirar de esa manera, ojalá no lo hubiera hecho. El chef barbudo estaba tan fuera de lugar. En el espacio de 15 minutos debe haberse tocado la cara unas 10 veces, ya sean los ojos, la nariz o la zona de la boca, ¡directamente después de limpiarse la frente ha metido el dedo en la brocheta de gambas! Totalmente fuera de lugar y tan antihigiénico! Al estilo del restaurante Zizzi con cocina abierta, ¡cabe esperar que la higiene sea de primer nivel! Seguí observando a este chef toda nuestra visita y fue desagradable, no volveré a visitar esta sucursal, informaré a la agencia de estándares de alimentos.

Beautifully done Zizzi- interiors are chic and spacious. The staff were attentive, kind. The food is Zizzi is always satisfying. Children are given crayons and activity placemats to keep busy. There was no service charge on the bill- so do tip the staff if you enjoyed your meal. :)

Good food for a family birthday. Allergies coped with really well. One star down for atmosphere as it was a Monday night so not really their fault but a bit quiet.

Popped in with my parents for lunch and were the first customers by the look of it. Bearing in mind there were no other customers we had to wait a very long time for our food to arrive. The calmari was under seasoned and tough as it was overcooked. The mains were quite tasty. We have been to this restaraunt a few times over the years and this is the first negative experience we have had.

I love it here the atmosphere was so nice and relaxed it was not to loud they were short staff and still got to us quickly the food was to die for and my daughter loved the desrts we went here for my husbands birthday and even my autistic son loved it i recommend it highly its a very nice place

I’m not one to complain. We placed an order and had regular updates. After an hour and half, with the app saying the driver was at the restaurant for 45 minutes, we called the restaurant. The manager told us he had only two people in the kitchen and when looking for our order he said ‘we haven’t got it’ so we said ok, and started to cook some dinner after being disappointed that we could treat my daughter as promised. As soon as I plated our food, the delivery arrived! Terrible customer service

We visited this brunch for dinner! I'm upset for every minute that I have been there! Starting from our server "Agnese" was really rude! looks that she have to pay our bill and was angry from talking the order till the payment, never one Smith in her face , after the food was horrible! Calamari salted no one from the table eat them king prawn starter not couched ! We reported this issue and no one takes care of the food and bill ! Pizza burned too !!! Lucy we didn't ask for desert because God know how will be! The worst experience in Zizzi ! Never will be back in this brunch, and I don't suggest to no one

Visited for a date with my partner. There was clearly some kind of issue as the food was very slow, but in fairness this was explained to us by the host at the door. The service was fantastic - they were clearly stressed and under the pump, but were exceedingly helpful and friendly. Food was fantastic, with all three courses being completely devoured

Habíamos reservado para 23: 00, que es comprensiblemente muy tarde, aunque intentamos llamar y decir que si lo habían hecho antes lo tomaríamos. A las 9: 30 el hombre del teléfono dijo que estaban llenos antes del 23: 00 . Llegamos a las 10: 30 y solo había una mesa sentada en el restaurante. Esperamos 10 minutos más mientras cada empleado nos ignoraba. Cuando digo que nos ignoraste, lo digo en serio. 3 miembros del personal nos miraron y miraron hacia otro lado, uno incluyendo un gerente. El gerente declaró entonces que no tenía personal ya que envió a todos a casa. No podría haber estado tan ocupado si hubieras enviado gente a casa. No hubo una disculpa sincera, ya que encajó una orden de entrega justo en frente de nosotros. Absolutamente lívido en esta situación cuando es viernes por la noche, por lo que debe esperar que la gente salga a cenar. Si nos hubiera llamado después de que hicimos nuestra reserva rápidamente después de la llamada telefónica, entonces habríamos encontrado en otro lugar. Completamente insatisfecho y estará llevando el asunto más allá.
