Fabulous Full English and a gluten free breakfast as well. Dylan the black Labrador could have stayed all day as he was treated to free sausages. Thank you. Will definitely stop again if passing.

We go to the dales way regular as it is a family run cafe and all the food is homemade I have never had anything that isn’t nice. From the soups to the desserts everything is spot on and the staff are always friendly and ready to help. It is not overly priced serving are big I really have nothing bad to say.

We have eaten in the restaurant for breakfast and lunch over the last year (2017) and the food was consistently good and generous portions. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

So, if you’re on the road you sometimes need somewhere to get a bite to eat and you have numerous opportunities as you pass many roadside cafes with their enticing billboards. Don’t pass this one! Roadside cafes vary in quality enormously ranging from very good to abysmal. The Dalesway hits the top end. Food is good, staff very friendly and service quick. And it’s very fairly priced. Highly recommend.

I visited here today and was more than impressed with the quality of the food and the efficient service. I chose a cheeseburger and found it to be very, very tasty. Excellent quality, great value and served promptly. What more are you looking for in a roadside cafe.

I have visited this cafe several times over the last few years and have always been more than satisfied, especially with their large cooked breakfasts. £5 for their largest breakfast, including tea & toast. There is indoor seating for 16 and another 20 seats outside where you can enjoy fabulous views over the dale. The place is clean and tidy. Food is cooked fresh to order and staff are very friendly. Easy parking in a big lay-by off the A59, just after the A65 roundabout if heading East from Skipton towards Harrogate or Bolton Abbey.

What a lovely quirky cafe. The owners were super friendly and welcoming. We had hot chocolate and scones with jam and cream and both the drink and scones were delicious. Best hot chocolate drink we have tasted and in a nice large cup too. There was lots of cakes to choose from and they all looked delicious. We will definitely return for lunch as the menu was very appetising.

Any time this place is open, do take the chance to pop in for a drink, snack or meal....a very friendly place with a good choice (including vegetarian) on the menu; the family team are happy to speedily prepare and serve just what you order in a quirky, well presented small cafe. Excellent value, quality food!

This place is in a beautiful location. After a hard day cycling, we we had run out of water and food. Although the tea-room was closed we asked if our water bottles could be topped up. The lady who owns the place was busy but she could not have been more kind and helpful. She brought us delicious home-made chocolate cake and filter coffee and stayed for a chat. Absolutely amazing customer service and saved us that day! Thank you!

First stop on the way out of Hubberholme when walking. 3 of us had the cream tea; wonderful home made scones with home made jam & lashings of cream- scrumptious Scar House Tea Garden highly recommended.
