First time at Oodles, store nice and clean, counter staff very courteous and helpful and explained the concept to me when I explained I had never been before. I chose two large boxes - fried rice and sweet and sour chicken in one, fried rice and garlic chilli chicken in the other. Got home, food was hot and boxes very well filled. Couldn't quite understand why the sweet and sour sauce had no pineapple, peppers or onions as you'd expect. My garlic chilli chicken dish wasn't very tasty - long story short, we didn't eat the food and were very disappointed. I called in to the store and had a good chat with the manager, nice guy called Abdul. I was given a refund immediately without fuss and Abdul explained the Oodles concept to me. I made the mistake of assuming that it is a form of Chinese takeaway - it isn't. The sauce as served is just a sauce and doesn't contain pineapple, peppers etc. Abdul said he hoped I would be back and said there is always an option to taste the food before you commit to an order. I think there was a little miscommunication on both sides - now that I am more aware of the type of food, I won't hesitate to call back. The gent who served me - Faran - was really nice and very helpful. Great customer service from him and manager Abdul. If you fancy a different take on Chinese and Asian food, give Oodles a try.

A Disappointing Visit to the Subway Every time I come to this Subway, I face the same issue. Even though the website and the shop clearly state that the store is open until 9:00 PM, the employees stop serving as early as 8:30 PM. Their excuse? They need the last 30 minutes for cleaning and closing duties, and they can’t stay past 9:00 PM because that’s the limit of their paid hours. If they’re not going to serve customers until 9:00 PM, then the store timings should be updated both online and at the location. It's misleading otherwise. Today, I drove 15 minutes just to get some Halal food, only to be turned away and have my time wasted. It's frustrating and unfair to customers who rely on the posted hours.
